1062  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have your winnings lured someone into gambling ? on: November 05, 2022, 10:31:17 PM
As a gambler we see winning big as success is gambling, do you share and celebrate your winning story with friends ?
Yes I but it's not to lure them to gamble but rather to show them it's not always losing but you can still win in gambling because my friend can easily tell if I lose in gambling because I'm not good at hiding every time I lose in gambling

Quote
Have your winning story or celebration lured someone you know into gambling because he wants to win big like you
Yes I did but I explain to them that's not always winning and you should always play within your means and gambling is for entertainment only, it's always their decision to play, and it should not be coming from someone.

Will the days of the altcoins signature campaign return in the future?

1064  Other / Meta / Cryptocurrency Casinos Are Ruling The Signature Campaign Here In Bitcointalk on: November 05, 2022, 02:54:01 PM
With the exception of Chipmixer, all the other signature campaigns are Crypto casino based, some are still for many years this is big proof that the Crypto casino industry is booming and the ICOs days are over, seven years ago all the signatures you see here are all Cryptocurrency projects.

Do you think that this trend will go on for many years?
Will Bitcointalk become known as a gambling forum?
Will the days of the altcoins signature campaign return in the future?

1065  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fees on Dormant Accounts on Crypto Gambling Platforms on: November 05, 2022, 01:57:21 PM
Are you familiar with this? Or has anybody here been actually charged for having his/her crypto gambling account inactive for several months?
I have never heard read or noticed that they charge for dormant accounts, in the first place why would they do that they are not a bank, their license is to operate as a casino,

Quote
The monthly charge could be as high as 15% of the remaining balance. Or, worse, the entire balance could be withheld by the platform itself. Although it could be for security's sake and be returned upon request, who knows what conditions or perhaps KYC information they would require just to have your money back?

It's ok to  hold it and verify the real owner of the account if there is a change of location or IP, but not charge monthly its an unfair and bad business decision, soon gamblers will leave them for unfair treatment

Quote
This is similar to a bank policy that requires accounts to have transactions every now and then or be active or else dormancy fees could be charged. But this feels weird to a gambling platform. What happens to seasonal gamblers who don't mind leaving money in their account wallets? One could only be betting during annual work breaks or vacation or during annual sports championship events. Say, the NBA playoffs, The International, and others.

This is a good discussion if we have one existing casino that's implementing this feature so far checking other members' replies there was one in the past, but right now casinos do not implement this, I have accounts on many casinos that I'm not active anymore and some have small balances on them but I never received notifications of dormancy fees.
1066  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How are Online casino's and sports betting platforms coping? on: November 05, 2022, 11:44:54 AM
The pandemic is not officially over we still have the pandemic and data and reliable information rate the online casino industry as the industry that skyrockets its profit
Quote
According to the Global Gambling Marketing Report, the coronavirus has led to a sudden rise in online gambling revenues with some studies reporting a 67% increase. As featured by Island Echo, most gamblers preferred betting online due to the unfortunate closure of offline betting industries caused by Covid-19 in 2020.

Online casinos are still raking in profit because not all land-based casinos are fully operational and some opted to continue to play online especially old gamblers and gamblers with comorbidity the growth and profit will continue as long as the pandemic is still here, the evidence that online casinos are growing is the growing number of online casinos launching almost every week.

A few days ago bitvest.io celebrated its seventh anniversary. It was fun. Promo did the second cake contest.
Winners list: 1st Marceline 2nd elyte0nes 3rd rookster.
Bitvest is the best confirmed! Keep up the good work Zodiac1233 and lightlord Happy anniversary and here’s to many more.

Congratulation I was once a member of the signature campaign, Bitvest and 777Coin is a proof that having a long signature campaign and being reputable are two ways to establish your casino in a long term, that is why casinos should set aside a budget for marketing because they will reap the fruit in a long term, so far Duelbits, Betcoin.Ag and Stake are some of the casinos that have the longest campaign because they understand that it will stabilize and put their casino on top of the market shares and this is a way to build your brand for the long term.
1068  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What would you do? on: November 03, 2022, 03:10:18 PM
If they are not addressing the issues and they are not updating their platform then you can leave Solana its good that you monitor the status of the project you're investing in, I don't have Solana invited to invest but cannot keep up with so many coins already in my portfolio, if you're investing you should always monitor, or you either leave it or trade it to a better coin in the market, that is why I concentrate my portfolio on coins that have proven their worth in the market.
1069  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do online casinos disadvantage some locations from winning big on: November 03, 2022, 02:44:30 PM
I don't think they will do that, you can verify every bet, and the casino has no access to that its the game provider and if the game is in house there is a seed that you can verify that, and no one complaints here that he cannot win because he comes from this country, it hard to prove that, we don't like manipulation, someone should come out with a proof that some casino is doing that, we can come out a lot of conspiracy theory but without proof its a theory.
1070  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling winner identity on: November 03, 2022, 12:27:54 PM
This is so funny maybe he has a distinct mark on his body that will identify by his relatives, by wearing a costume like that he can hide everything, it's his choice to do that to protect his identity and also to protect himself and his family, $30 million is such a huge amount he can endanger his family if many people know who he is he will have a lot of stalkers and many so-called friends will come out, maybe in the future, he will eventually tell this to his family, because $30 million is such a huge amount to hide.
1071  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which has better odds, lottery, online gambling, or sports betting? on: November 02, 2022, 11:32:47 AM
I have seen a lot of huge winning coming from sports betting which is why this has the best odds among the three, although there is luck involved in it if you can give a good analysis and adept at the sports you're betting, then you have a good chance to win the lottery has the lowest odds, you can bet for years and cannot hit the jackpot, have also seen people betting for so many years until they give up because the odds are so low.
1072  Other / Off-topic / Elon now is charging $8 a month to get your Twitter verified on: November 02, 2022, 12:20:22 AM
This is a big surprise but many expected this to happen as he already has a hint that he will do this, he really is a cunning businessman with Twitter millions of users this is another income stream for the wealthiest man in the world and I'm sure Doge and other Cryptocurrency will be used for this monthly subscription I just hope that he included some of the top coins I'm holding like Tron.

What do you think of Elon Musk's idea is it good for the Cryptocurrency indsutry

Quote
New Twitter head Elon Musk said Tuesday the site will charge $8 per month to verify users' accounts, arguing the plan would upend the platform's "current lords & peasants system" and create a new revenue stream for the company.

The announcement comes days after the world's wealthiest man took sole control of the social media giant in a contentious $44 billion deal.

Musk proposes charging $8 for verified Twitter account despite user backlash
1073  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Duelbits did not pay me 583.21$ after 20 days of waiting on: October 31, 2022, 02:35:13 PM
If Duelbits have their own way they would pay you but they have to deal with every player like all the players are the same, they are doing their investigations and they will never tell you that you have to wait 5000 days I'm sure they will resolve your account as soon as possible if you believe that you have done nothing wrong then you just need to extend your patience and everything will be ok.
1074  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Apple Pauses Gambling Ads in App Store Pages After Developers Complain on: October 31, 2022, 01:25:04 PM

It appears apple developers are not fans of gambling?
Maybe the majority of them are, but if you're an Apple developer you don't want some of your comrade to treat as someone who loves to gamble

Quote
If apple based platforms ban gambling advertisements.

Could apple gain a reputation for having an anti gambling stance in the future. Which might lead to a backlash where casinos boycott apple based products?
They are not the only ones, they want to be known as a child-friendly project.

Quote
I don't remember statistics or revenue numbers being published in response to facebook and other platforms banning cryptocurrency advertisements. Or if there was an actual backlash in those cases where social media platforms lost a significant chunk of revenue as a result of bans.
The gambling industry should not take this action as trying to hurt them, this is gambling and these platforms implement a policy that will protect their audience like minors

Quote
The gambling industry is different from cryptocurrency advertisements. Gambling is a trillion dollar industry worldwide. It might be large enough for ad bans and lost revenue to affect apples bottom line. Perhaps I'm exaggerating the influence of the gambling industry.
The gambling industry is huge but it should not in a way interrupt the other companies' policies and goals the gambling industry should respect and understand where these companies are coming from.

1075  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul VS Anderson Silva October 29th on: October 31, 2022, 12:16:11 PM
I'm not really interested to watch the match but watching the highlight made me think that Silva is giving Jake Paul a hard time, compared to his fight with Woodley,  Paul was challenged by Silva, but his punches had no effect on Silva, and the knockdown is more of a flash knockdown, I guess Jake Paul will go on to continue calling names to challenge but no one will take him seriously if he wants to challenge no way, he also calls out Nate Diaz so there's a possibility that there will be a deal on these two because both fighters can make money and they are both equal in their fighting level.
1076  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are five things you will do if you win huge amount of money?? on: October 31, 2022, 11:00:25 AM
What are the major five things you will do if win huge amount money?. Is it to buy are car or start a business?        Let's discuss about it together.

$10000 is huge to me and from that, I will be able to start a business grocery business it needs a big capital, to build a house, buy a motorcycle and buy more Bitcoin and save what is left so from all these things I need not worry I can go on playing without thinking about the money that I gonna spend and lose, as my needs are covered by the business I'm setting up.
1077  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino Websites vs Casino Apps: Which Option is Better? on: October 31, 2022, 09:02:36 AM
You should set up a poll of this as you have two options for members to choose from, I am not aware of the advantages and disadvantages of the two, the app and their website versions as I'm using the website version for all my gambling sessions ever since, I can concentrate more because of the widescreen I guess it goes down to preference and where are you comfortable playing, everything depends on focus and being comfortable.
1078  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🎵 What kind of music do you listen when you gamble? 🎶🎧 on: October 31, 2022, 07:46:52 AM
It really depends on my mood, but when I feel relaxed while playing I usually go for binaural music, I get so excited when playing that I need relaxing music to control my emotion and it really works, not only while playing but also when I need to feel relaxed after my office work.

This is one example of Binaural music I listen to, the music lasted from  2 hours to 5 hours

1079  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling house responisbilty to protect people data on: October 30, 2022, 10:48:02 PM
Ideally, gambling houses should not disclose the identity of the person who won big without first asking him. Unfortunately, this is not respected always.

You have to be specific you've used the word always so there should be names of casinos that abuse their players by posting their real names but so far all we can see are usernames and you're username is not an indication or even proof that your can go to court and tell the court that there is abuse, unless you've used your real name as your username.

Quote
Those gamblers who do not want their information to be public, but the gambling houses make their names public, can go to the court of law as this is a serious offense. Gamblers can claim damages to the gambling site on this basis. Do you think gamblers should take the help of courts in this case ?

If this happens and it is not on their terms you can charge them in court but be sure you have the means for a long battle because casinos especially the popular ones can go on a long court battle.
1080  Economy / Gambling discussion / Is it really possible to quit on these reasons on: October 30, 2022, 09:55:19 PM
You can when you won a huge amount
There's a discussion here of a guy who won a huge amount but added that he is quitting gambling is it really possible, anyone here have done quitting after winning a huge amount

You can when you lose a huge amount
This is the most popular reason to quit have you done this only to come back

You can anytime you want
Do you have the power to do it anytime that you want.

You have to when you're wife tells you to
I know a lot of guys who quit gambling for good after their wives tell them to, do you know of someone, or at one time you are one of them.

Let's discuss this and thank you for participating.
