1101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ways to earn aside from bounty campaign and airdrop on: October 24, 2022, 03:33:25 PM
...With nodes, everything is simple until you start setting it all up. If the user is completely unfamiliar with setting up his own server and the command line in Ubuntu, even with a ready-made manual it will be difficult for him to figure out all those console line commands, what works and how to set it up. You need at least minimal technical knowledge to successfully participate in the nodes.

As a rule, all tasks in the test network are similar to each other and consist in swaps of coins, providing liquidity, moving coins through the bridge. All these tasks are not difficult for those who have previously been engaged in trading on DEX and earning on Defi. As for beginners, participation in test networks will allow you to raise your level of knowledge and at the same time also get a profit.

I am not fully aware of this and this is much better than doing bounty campaigns based on my research after stumbling over this testnet bounty, you will not only increase your knowledge but you will be a part of something when the project launches its mainet, but like all the other bounty campaign, there's really no guaranty that the project you're working will be successful it's still a gamble so only pick the right project to test.
1102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pi network mining on: October 24, 2022, 02:58:31 PM
Whats with the negative with PI. Ive been mining my PI Coins since the start. Its not eating my phone memory 1 tap every 24 hours then close. Even if this is a scam coin or shitty coin will still mine it everyday until the dev stop posting updates.

How long have you been mining PI it took me two years to realize that this is not worth it, many have given up because after 5 years they are not interested in building the project, they just want to make money out of their users and they still asking for KYC which is risky, I hope you dig deep and check the history and the many bad feedbacks of this coin so you'll realize that this coin is a shitcoin and has no future, just imagine already 5 years and they are not yet in the market.
1103  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀TOP 5 CRYPTO CASINO SITE - YOUR OPINION IS IMPORTANT TO US🚀 on: October 24, 2022, 02:17:06 PM
Why create a new announcement and lock the other one, when you are still showing low-level casinos as top casinos on your website and you did not create your own review, you just incorporated reviews from the other review sites like Trustpilot, why not create your own review based on your experience, does this mean that you are not really playing on these casinos.
1104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: And officially worst year for investors on: October 24, 2022, 01:22:23 PM
2022 is going to be the worst year for crypto investors. Any thoughts guys?

I'll have to agree I have a lot of tokens many of them are play-to-earn tokens and I'm down 50 to 98% on these kinds of tokens, on top of these is DPET, which got a lot of this on their all-time high, it's definitely my worst year and I learned that people should not get into hype easily not all that glitters are gold, it's still the basic that worth investing and these are coins and tokens with usability and platform that can serve the whole community.
1105  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A disheartening true life winning story on: October 24, 2022, 12:10:31 PM
This is crazy is not possible and if this is possible then any lottery company can just refuse to pay those who won millions because of a database error, once the result shows up its final, any court will even penalize any lottery company that will do this its fraud and it will lose the confidence of the betting public, so far OP did not provide a link or screenshot of the story, so we'll know the whole story and what really happen.
1106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Two Gambling Stories on: October 23, 2022, 09:30:34 PM
These are two gambling stories that are very interesting

Story 1
A man stole his girlfriend's 10k to place a bet. He won 100 million and returned 10k to his girlfriend. His girlfriend is furious and demands 40 million dollars.

Her girlfriend is right he would not have won that money, if not for her money that he steal and why would he be in a dilemma
he will still have 60 million and he keeps his girlfriend if he believes that he will settle with this girl and then give her, her share.

Quote
Story 2
An apprentice who won 16 million naira on BET was asked by his boss to split the money into two parts. This 50 - 50. As the story goes, people sided with his boss, and he had no choice but to comply. It's important to remember that the money used to bet belongs to the apprentice, not the boss.

First, in your opinion, what would be a reasonable amount to give his girlfriend? Second, assuming you were the apprentice in the story, would you abandon your training or would you have given in to the pressure to split the money with your boss?

I will be the one to decide not the boss, he did not lend the money and he did not give me any tips on the bet I will give him a tip but not split half of my winning that's too much if he asks for a split even if he is respected in his field.
1107  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: n1bet.com - BIG SCAM AND FRAUD on: October 23, 2022, 02:29:03 PM
There are dozens of complaints but at the end they pay everyone.
This is eventually a good thing.
I am having a second thought. spyrosc200 how did you know that they are paying everyone eventually? Giving us some reference will help.

I know reviews from trustpilot are not to be completely trust
A project can request their admin to remove a negative feedback and they moderate the reviews in the favor of the project. That's how TrustPilot run their business having the projects in their side. So anything from those review sites are massively manipulated.

N1bet is operated by Dama N.V.

In askgamblers, there are listed 68 Dama N.V casinos.

https://www.askgamblers.com/online-casinos/companies/dama-n-v

If you click on any of those 68 casinos you will be able to see the complaints posted at askgamblers and how those ended.

You will see that even there are many complaints, everyone gets paid at the end.

N1bet for example, they paid both complaints posted at askgamblers

https://www.askgamblers.com/online-casinos/reviews/n1bet-casino

You are in luck better follow his advice you've got a chance to get your money, they do not have an official thread here  in Bitcointalk, askgambler can help you with your issues like all the others with complaints because the majority of casinos operated by Dama N.V casinos are here but it's good that you posted this here as a reference for Bitcointalk community to warn them that this casino has issues
1108  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Zero KYC tolerance gambling platforms on: October 23, 2022, 12:11:44 PM
Is KYC verification very important to crypto gambling websites or this has something to do with their regulations rule? Where can one gamble with zero verification requirements?

Because of the regulation rule, KYC has become important for every Crypto casino, it gives them a legal entity to operate online, because of KYC they make their casino safe from money launderers and scammers, and cheaters, it's chaos for casinos if they just let people play without KYC, the authorities will go after them, cheaters, scammers, and money launderers will have a feast day playing on these casinos, so KYC is very important whether you like it or not.
1109  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is the best thing to do if this happens on: October 23, 2022, 09:22:09 AM
Assuming you gamble on a mid to high-rated gambling website and you won big but they refuse to pay up, what and what are the legal way to make sure that the platform pays up your money?

The right thing to do first is to ask why are not they paying you, find out first what they need from you so you can give them what they want, then screenshots of all the pieces of evidence like your transactions and your communications from the casino and most important, is your dashboard, you can post it here in Bitcointalk, askgambler or popular platform where they will be alarmed on your issue, there are many cases where tey resolve the case after the issue was posted her in Bitcointalk and other platforms.
1110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terence Crawford vs David Avanesyan December 10 on: October 22, 2022, 11:41:29 PM

We can always find a way to watch this fight without paying, so don't bother.  Smiley

There's a lack of interest in this fight compared to the Spence match up, it's understandable he should fight Ennis if he wants more money and legacy but he choose the safest route only Crawford's die-hard fans and those who can afford will buy tickets for a live fight, I prefer to see the highlights because we all know who's gonna win in this fight, Avanesyan is good but he is not on Crawford's level.

NEW CRYPTO CASINO REFFERAL WEBSITEBTC

https://top-cryptocasinos.com

check out, for real G's Gambler

Visited your site then close it and that will be the last time I am going to visit your review site because it doesn't give us anything, all you have there are just banners with star ratings and nothing more, there are no reviews like the positive and negative sides of playing in casinos in your list, I don't think this site can compete with the top reviews sites like GamblingBro or BTCGOSU.
1112  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you win so big on: October 22, 2022, 10:04:36 PM
As a responsible gambler, I know we don't let gambling change our lifestyle. If today is your luckiest day ever in gambling,on your first game you won the sum of $50 000.
First, will you quit the game immediately and withdraw all your funds or will you play for awhile because you are excited.
$50k is such a huge amount and by continuing to play you could lose that amount it's better to enjoy your winning by withdrawing all of it, but there's a possibility that they will ask you for a KYC amount like that are qualified to be in KYC
Quote
Second, will you use this money to upgrade your lifestyle i.e living big and showing off, even relocating to a better environment and forget about your old friends in your former neighborhood ? Or will you just remain quiet, happy and living a your normal way of life but investing the money into something profitable without telling anyone ?
It's better to be prudent and live a simple life nothing beats a simple life with all your old friends around you it keeps you grounded and money won easily is very tempting to live an extravagant life, its a big opportunity given to you, so you have to spend it wisely.
1113  Economy / Gambling / Re: Unpopular opinion about crypto gambling on: October 22, 2022, 12:42:32 PM
There are hardly any Cryptocurrency casinos that will not ask you to do KYC, its an industry practice and they don't want to be targeted by authorities and regulators of course its part of the terms when they get a license, but I cannot convince you that it's stupid to do KYC in Cryptocurrency casinos, all I can say is you are naive and ignorant because it's part of all casinos terms whether old and new casinos if you want to play on them.
1114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you win big in casino, would it be publicized? on: October 22, 2022, 10:47:35 AM
It should not be publicized I have not known casinos that openly publicize the name of their winners without their permission its risky they are literally putting their clients at risk, if they have this kind of policy then they should state this before letting people play in their casinos, and they also should grant request from their clients that they don't want their information to be exposed I don't want to patronize this kind of casinos even if I'm a small player, there's still possible that I can win big in the future.
1115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Faucet and Bonus Farming on: October 21, 2022, 10:28:24 PM
I have seen more than 2 casinos locking user accounts for this action, and is it really the users fault?

If the users claims tons of faucets or bonus is because the casino engine allows it, and if the casino is losing money with this action they should fix their code to avoid this problem and not steal users money.
The casino is guilty of scamming its players if that is the case, you never lock the accounts of your users because of the rule you laid out unless he is guilty of multi-accounting and following your rules but if they are claiming faucets based on the rules you laid out then the casino will have a bad reputation of creating a trap for their players

Quote
The casinos sets the rules of the game, and if a user is smarter enough to find a way to make profit with those rules then they shouldn't block users withdrawals.

So, what do you think about this?
They should have tested and checked all the projected faucet rewards their players can claim the only way their players can abuse the faucet and bonus is through multi accounts but if they don't have other accounts and play by the rule you laid out then the casinos are at fault here, better mention these casinos so we can look.
1116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Terence Crawford vs David Avanesyan December 10 on: October 21, 2022, 05:39:36 AM
The Crawford - Spence will not push through this year

ESPN.com’s Mike Coppinger is reporting that Crawford and David Avanesyan have “signed contracts” for a fight on Dec. 10.

Terence Crawford vs David Avanesyan reportedly signed for Dec. 10 on streaming PPV

Avanesyan (29-3-1, 17 KO) is 34 years old and the reigning European welterweight champion, but I don't think he can match up the skill and power of Crawford its a cherry-picked fight but Crawford needs to fight this year because he has been inactive for a long time

This is a fight we least expect coming from Crawford but it takes two to tango and Spence or Crawford really don't like the fight to push.

But according to Crawford
Quote
“I was really looking forward to the Errol Spence fight. I started communicating with Al Haymon and PBC back in June. And unfortunately, they represent a fighter in Errol Spence who didn’t want the fight as bad as I did.”
1117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Nigerian Man Won $51,000 in Sports Betting With a Bet of Just $1.072 on: October 20, 2022, 10:41:05 PM
He should keep it private or request the betting site to not show his face or post his information especially if coming from a poor family and neighborhood, he can give a portion of his earnings to friends, relatives, or those who are in needy but in a discreet way, by showing his earnings, he will put himself in trouble and his family and people will say bad words to him when he declines to give them a portion of his winning and he will be a subject of talks whenever they see him, this is the bad part of showing himself after he won a big amount.
1118  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you get over a bad loss? on: October 20, 2022, 12:51:13 PM
What's your favorite thing to do when you get a bad loss?

I watch movies on Netflix usually about life and action to help overcome my bad loss, we should try to avoid having bad losses, bad losses are losses where we are not comfortable losing or a loss coming from chasing your losses, this is not good for your mental health, gambling in casinos should be fun and a source of entertainment if we keep on getting bad losses, we are gambling the wrong way.
1119  Economy / Gambling / Re: Galaxy.bet | ⭐ | 🚀 | 🎲 | 🎰🚀 on: October 20, 2022, 11:25:40 AM
These are just some of the negative points about Casino.guru's review

Quote
NEGATIVES
Bonuses not available for all countries
Live chat support is not available 24/7
Not all of the terms and conditions are translated to the language option provided on the website
Company focuses on sports betting rather than the casino
Not all game providers are available for all countries
Not all payment methods are available for all countries

With all the negative points I don't think this casino is competitive enough to compete for player's attention, but I still want to give this casino a benefit of the doubt, since he opened an announcement thread let's see if he can improve their casino's performance for them to be competitive, looking forward for more updates coming from OP.
1120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Want KYC at Crypto Casinos During Registration? on: October 19, 2022, 11:16:54 PM
Casinos imposed the KYC because of their being compliant in money laundering because money laundering with the use of casinos was and still is very prevalent and of course their rules of not allowing minors to play in their casino and countries where they do not accept players, and it only happens when you put on in a big amount of money, (possible case of money laundering)  and you won a big amount, possibility that you're a minor or you are from a location that they do now allow.
