Got some requests to add this coin to whattomine.
@devs is there any api to tap into current number of coins? Obviously I need this to properly calculate block_reward. Coinmarketcap does not expose this value for ETN.

Hello. I used JSON queries to grab info about currencies. I make 5-6 queries in time to different currencies. I cant grab all with 1 query to coins.json because of software limitations (excel).
I refresh manually (not auto), so no spam should be. Today I was banned, whattomine answer forbidden to me.
Is it permanent or not? and what frequency limit is?
Current rate limit stands at 120rpm, but it might go to 60 soon. Ban is temporary.

Please, fix round error, see images. HAL: 710 kH - 0,141 mBTC/day 7100 kH - 0,758 mBTC/day
There is no rounding error. The hashrate you provided is greater than total current of hal and wtm takes that difficulty rise into account. @bitcoinz-pod wtm is not reading exchange prices from those exchanges, need to wait for supported ones.

Hi, I noticed that whattomine.com provides lower profitability results for ethereum today. The value was about 0.142862 ether per 1GH/s but it has reduced to 0.085410 ether. The site says that the block reward has been reduced due to lower uncles reward. Can anyone throw more light on this as using www.coinwarz.com ethereum profitability calculator gives 0.19701178 eher per 1GH/s. Today ETH had a planned hardfork in which they reduced block reward to 3ETH from 5 ETH. 2.91 is whattomine adjusted value that takes into account percentage of uncle blocks mined (uncles have lowered reward)

hello. i suggest u to add information about x13 pow mining algo. for example u may start with DeepOnion. p.s. the feedback form at whattomine.com isn't working (at least for me). There are almost no active X13 coins out there. For sure not on exchanges wtm reads data from. Contact form and dataset managment should work fine now.

Whoever is still using r9 280x... I need your advice badly! I have weird 13-26 mh/s ETH 29-58 mh/s LBC fluctuation. Does not depend on overcloack, power limit, page file > 32gb different PSUs voltage, temperature or whatever, tried all the shit possible!
Nicehash users buying your hashes will sometimes mine a coin with smaller dag (like UBQ) and on that coin 280x will give you its full speed.

Hello, Digitalprice has recently had a coinswap and is on a new Blockchain, the old digitalprice that you have on whattomine has become Digitalprice Classic and the logo has changed too. Also the exchange has changed the ticker to DPC. Please update that info and its creation confusion between users. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2164578.0p.s the digitalprice on cryptopia is the new one. DPC is on nova and bleutrade The new website for DPC is https://dpclassic.org/Thanks, will research and cleanup the coin data.

When are you guys going to add vega 56 and vega 64 benchmarks? Would certainly be very interested in that.
Currently waiting for non-ref models to be available in stores.

If a status is marked with red color then the coin is inactive and calculations are outdated.
How does then "Inactive" and "No market" differ from "No available stats"? They are all inactive, just give extra info to explain the reason.
|
|
|
I would not call "No available stats(lagging)" up and running If a status is marked with red color then the coin is inactive and calculations are outdated. Indeed lately I have changed json logic to not include inactive coins. No reason to return invalid data via json.

I am wondering if there is away to apply the customisations in the browser to the json URL.
E.G I get the following JSON response after I open it in my browser. I get the right one when I open it using wget in Centos. I would like to bring this information into a DB so not to pepper your webapps but need the first list. Any ideas how I can send the custom variable to the api?
The easiest way to use custom data for json is to setup everything properly via UI first and press calculate. Then use the browser url and add `.json` to it.

Remember to use robinHood version if you are on win7

Is the json api update time is same as web page update 3 minutes? Or its like MPH api that depends on cloudflare and its 30 minutes ?
Both UI and json use the same data - its 3 minutes

@fredeq I am mining Gamecredit in MPH and Suprnova. But there is no this coin in coins endpoint and ASIC endpoint. Is it possible to make an endpoint to return all coins?
No point in returning all coins in one endpoint as they have to be compared to something. Even asic should be split into 3 categories, but thats a different topic for another time. Gamecredits are returned in asic endpoint.

|
@shtse8 I will think about adding the hashrate for which the computation was run. Cant see a reason to add the multipliers though, you get the end result and should not worry about its partials.
Coins endpoint will return the same records that can be returned via UI. Not all algorithms are listed for main comparison, not all are active and some are just asic.

Thanks for your service. It's very useful for us. I have one suggestion for the improvement. Could the json return the hashes per diff and the unit of hash?
Cheers! Not sure what you mean, could you post an example?
