141  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $0.49/GH/s on: July 29, 2014, 12:45:41 PM
I have been at the factories and at the BA offices since I got here. I have 2 X3s coming back with my in my suitcase (as many as I can fill) and are finishing up having a pallet of X1s and a pallet of X3s shipped back to me tonight since I leave tomorrow. I already had another pallet of X1s shipped out to me Saturday night, that will arrive this morning USA time. Sorry I have been quite, been quite busy. Things will start picking up very quickly, with large shipments going out direct to BA customers as well.

I have pictures, but this china firewall is driving me up a wall, no pun intended.

Just 1 question will ALL X-1's be delivered and when I say delivered I mean in customer hands by the 31st of JULY?

Seriously.. Do you believe in unicorns aswell?

Shutting down the s1 is not a good idea if it can still mine coins at lower cost than electricity as the only constant is increasing difficulty.

Basically it depreciates at every difficulty jump.  So mine it now before it is obsolete

Or do what I plan.

My son goes back to college in a couple of weeks and has FREE electric in his dorm. I'm packing 2 S1's and a 850W PSU for him to take to school and run for me. If he can get anyone on his floor to agree, I'll bring 2 more S1's when I go to visit him.

You think your son and his roommates is gonna be thrilled about the noise/heat it creates?

what is the state of matter at this point in time?

Has X-1 shipped? X-3?
Has refunds been issued?

Getting abit like North Korea with all the silence and peppered with some posting of the X-1 miners in operation by some elite fews?

X-1 ye, some. I got my 2.

Im sure the great leader will soon sit on national TV and say that BA was a great success and 14nm is currently being taped out.

You want to leave your miners outside?

I can protect them from the sun so they would be cooler than inside a room, and in winter, middle part of terrace has roof so no problem and water doesnt get there, also i can protect them with something else.

Thing is its impossible to have 2 or more miners inside a room, so much hot....

How is the humidity?

I hadn't made any changes but I had noticed that the Freq was set to 1100, I've turned it to 1000 and it is steadier.

Thanks

Yeah. mine were set to 1200 when i recieved them. Guess they tested them..
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Moon Asics on: July 22, 2014, 12:39:57 PM
Did someone heard something about Moon Asics company? Or maybe someone already have pre-ordered their miners?

You just take a look at their specifications! 240 MH/s at 152 Wt for only 1,978.00$!

Give me two, please!..  Cheesy

sounds like another scam..
152  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $0.49/GH/s on: July 22, 2014, 12:28:50 PM
I received my 2 x-1s today.

I've opened one up and got it running but it doesn't seem to have a steady speed. It's all over the shop from 15Gh/s up to 115Gh/s although it seems to stay above 80Gh/s most of the time.

The graphs that you can access from the web browser have a rosy view of the speeds of the X-1 though. According to the graphs, it's never been below 80Gh/s since I turned it on even though I know that's not true.

In terms of blocks, I have ~45 accepts, 0 rejects, but >210 Disc. whatever that means.

Can any of the people who know what that means explain whether that is normal or not?

Thanks

You are most likely running 1200Mhz - thats unstable. Change it to 1000Mhz and you'll see steady speeds.

Invest your money in coins and wait for a boom, then sell, wait for a drop and repeat..

Number of Watts and Voltage shows 0 used (on both interfaces)

Yeah... looks like theres some room for work done on the software.. Maybe they should hire sandor111 - he did an awesome job on LA's software.

I think it's time to give us access to revert back to openwrt. These controllers are just sitting here doing nothing

I asked for a refund this morning stating that I will give the go ahead for my lawyer in Shenzhen who will work with my lawyer in The Virgin Islands and continue discussions with Scotland Yard if I don't have shipping info by the end of the month as it's the last promise I'm prepared to take.

I will not sit quietly anymore after investing US$25K in this company and will happily spend more to regain that investment from them plus compensation if the lawyers do their job correctly.

I hope they actually don't send my X3s now because I will have a better chance of return through the legal system.  I'd love to see them produce the documents that made them decide they were ahead of schedule back in January let alone all the other documents they would need to produce to show why they have gone against almost everything they have told us.  i.e. documents to show the LCD orders from multiple companies and every document showing orders for each revision of board etc.  I don't believe they would be able to produce them so as my lawyer has stated... Should be a walk in the park.

This is the reply and if they are true to their word about their production capabilities (again, documents will be required) then it should only be a matter of days before they hit my order.  If I find that they've shipped to re sellers first then I'm not waiting for the end of month.

Dear customer,

We have started shipping X3s on Saturday. We apologize for not posting evidence on our website, unfortunately we did not have time for this. We are shipping in the order of payments.

Thank you for your patience.

Regards,
Black Arrow Team

Just dont accept the delivery. Plain and simple.

Well at least you used paypal... They tend to side with buyer in this case.

so should I just file a dispute now ? Wont they just try to contact the seller who will say, they item is not for sale until 30/7 so wait ?

damn I feel bit foolish now !

better dispute already i think

Is it possible somehow to mine on eligius on port 443? (firewall issue)

I actually had decided (a while ago) to stop officially supporting non-mining ports for mining.

Generally, if you don't even have access to *outbound* traffic through a firewall for mining, and you also don't have access/authority to fix that situation, then it is most likely that you don't have authority/permission to be mining at that location in the first place... and abuse/theft of resources is not something I condone.

My suggestion would be to get outbound on port 3334 enabled.

I do have access to the firewall, however I would like to not need to go around making holes in it just for my own pleasure. Thats the simple reason.

That being said, I guess i'll end up doing just that.
