hey guys

I'v been at it all day with this board. But its like im getting nowhere.



Heres my error messages, I got Zadig and tried to redo the usb drivers for the board but no luck..

Anyone ever came across that before?

Wouldnt it be possible to mount one high output 120mm fan where the front fan is and mount 3 boards within that range and still move the heat? - as said.. its like 40w per board.. should be possible?

I mean, you need to expand the case a little.. but might be worth it in density?

+1 for the "try again" option.

Its possibly a poor pasting job - either to much, or too little. And also make sure its properly cleaned before you reaply the thermal paste.

I'v done quite a few GPU re-pastes and if you do it properly, it'll help you quite a bit.

But i'v got orders out for a few units around and im sure they'll make ROI at some point (i got free power, so that helps).

Have you contacted www.cardreaderfactory.com and asked them? they do avalon clones.

Im however not sure if its compatible?

Those are pretty cool actually. Gives you a bit more airflow around the underside of the motherboard aswell.

How are you planning fans to be mounted? Any updated pictures?

How are those heatsinks working for you? - Been considering using the same ones I use for my cpu on my pi.. give a little more cooling surface and better cooling hopefully..

Looks very nice.

Why did you make it 5U though? - From my experience you can go 4U and still move quite a big amount of air with the right fans (which you could do seeing as you are hosting it in an rack/server room im guessing?)

Hey guys

Im having some issues. Im trying to firmware upgrade my Lancelot and doing so through the xilinx ISE impact tool version 13.4 .. When i try and do a boundry scan and chose initialize chain i just get the below respons from the application. Im running an Altera USB Blaster cable i bought off ebay.
