I got my LA6M today but only one of the controllers is functional  Angry. The other controller isn't recognized by my router. This means I can only run 10 units right now (only half of my order). I tried all 20 on one controller but it wont use all the miners and only gets 3mh total. Not happy with this situation. Is the lightningAsic brand the only controller that disables sha-256? I need a controller (that disables sha-256 and only mines scrypt) fast.

What do you mean by disables  she-256 ? Are you saying that you cannot enable and disable the she-256 cores as you wish ?  The controller from lightingasic only allows script mining ? I ordered to use both cores, this would not be good news

Dual mode is supported no matter how your run them. Some people WANT to disable the SHA-256 cores and that so far isn't possible when running from a computer.

But, you can have the lightningasic tech's login to disable it on the controller right?

Tbh.. did you guys see the prices from gridseed on the units?

And compared them to his price..

Hes making like $100 a piece in profit - and this is PER USB, not PER LA3M.. I'd argue he has money enough to hire a few (no offence) cheap chinese supporters who can handle his email support/sending out tracking id's..
345  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: SCRYPT ASIC miner ready. BTC+LTC ASIC miner, 1THS(1000GHS) Bitcoin miner, 950W. on: February 27, 2014, 09:53:31 AM
Ok I had enough of this sharade ....I payed on Feb 11  in BTC for one LA3M proof: txid: 68685976617132fb6c6c06d29673a4faa711857d704fa68a051950fe13be7810 and he said he will deliver it in max 7-10 days.

Today is Feb 27 and I received no LA3M , not  even a tracking no. Yesterday he said: "just a min I will check your order" and after 24 h still no reply.

Every mail I sent to Angela was like dropping a coin into a hole...you can't even hear it reaching the bottom...she never replied back with a tracking a number, not even a confirmation of my BTC payment.Only Jack replied but without solid answers to my questions, like: we will ship soon or just wait" and so on.

Jack acording to your TOS I'm entitled to ask for a refund if you didn't ship in 10 days max from my BTC payment. You are 1 week late you drain out my patience completely and  I see my ROI getting thiner, so REFUND ME AT ONCE please, at my address: 1JUVE4VXSUikBUabLbVNu5CJopzqmRWQzk    or if you already shipped my order pm me with a solid proof: tracking no, otherway just refund.
I'm not going to get "we will ship your order soon or today" for granted again.

I'm going to be a gentleman and  wait 24 h more for my BTC refund before a I shall put a SCAM tag on you and post negative feedback.

If you won't refund me after those 24 h  I will make a signature with lightningasic marked as SCAM and link it to this topic and pay others for posting their signatures in here and everywhere in this forum and litecointalk.

I suspect they are swamped. Hopefully they get back with you soon.

That is exactly why i put in a paypal dispute.

Asiabtc wrote that he had units ready to ship out. I paid on the 10th and have just recieved my tracking number yesterday after doing a dispute towards him - amazing how that helps huh?

I would rahter pay the 3.5% fee for paypal than to be in the situation that juve4v is in.
346  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: SCRYPT ASIC miner ready. BTC+LTC ASIC miner, 1THS(1000GHS) Bitcoin miner, 950W. on: February 26, 2014, 07:23:20 AM
So.

I just got an email - after opening a paypal dispute.

with..... A tracking number. Wow.

As many others have mentioned. I bought from jack cause he promised fast shipping.

Lets do a little calculation.

I paid 16 days ago today. Lets say it takes 6 days to ship. So I have missed 10 days of mining.

Right now, I would make what sums up to ~1 LTC a day mining. With todays value on btc-e, thats $150 usd. Seeing as I am possibly looking for another 5-7 days of shipping.

Also, since hes making around 100$ a piece on these units.. I dont feel that a nice discount from jacks side is unheard of.

Anyone else feeling this?

I wonder if my order is under way now.....

Anyone get new tracking info today? Today was supposed to be another day of "shipping"

I payed in BTC on Feb 11 and Jack said 7-10 days after payment.Today is Feb 24 and:
1.I have received no product.
2. I have no tracking order, nothing. I'm tinkering with my thoughts if I should ask for a refund today or wait for one more day .
So atm I'm a very unhappy customer.

I've refrained from posting publicly so far, but I'm in the same boat and feel it's time to open my mouth.  Paid via PayPal on the 12th(shipping date of the 18th promised by Jack on the 15th), my payment was confirmed a week ago and I've been told by Angela a few days ago that they were to ship the next day, but still no tracking yet.  Instead of replying to my messages on here telling me to email "because it's easier??"(which I did and I'm not getting responses for two days), why not use the information that I provided in the message to look up my order and provide me with tracking?  As everyone knows, time is money when it comes to ASICs, and each day that they're sitting in China and not here hashing is costing me...

I don't feel like Jack is out to scam anyone, but they are highly disorganized and have failed at communication(ignoring me and then finally replying to my message without the information I requested doesn't count!) and meeting promised obligations, at least to me.

I will come back and edit this message when and if I get tracking information.  I am very close to beginning the dispute process in PayPal, giving Jack a few more hours to make good on tracking...

I'm slightly worried because several members on here are having trouble duplicating Jack's advertised .5MH results as well, if I can only get .3 from these units my ROI has changed SIGNIFICANTLY, and I will not be happy about that either...  I did see that a new firmware update is incoming, though.  So that may well make good on it.

I started the resolution process in paypal a few days ago in case things go pear shaped. I would encourage other Paypal orders to do the same. I will happily close my case  once shipped but until then it's best to leave it open.

If anything it will expedite either the shipping of the product or the refund of it.

+1 - I just opened my dispute as i called DHL and they se no such item shipping to my address.

Also, Jack seems to be unable to tell me a tracking ID of my order.

I also msg'ed Jack on skype asking for a refund. No response so far.
351  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: SCRYPT ASIC miner ready. BTC+LTC ASIC miner, 1THS(1000GHS) Bitcoin miner, 950W. on: February 23, 2014, 11:27:08 AM
He just reply...after sending 5 emails to his account and 2 eamils to his paypal email account and the reply came 5 minutes after I escalate the case on paypal.

reply tomorrow for tracking no.
thanks.
Jack.

Funny shit. He told me - and i can quote this from skype - that he cannot coordinate/reference orders with tracking ID's .. If DHL cant tell me theres a package comming my way tomorrow i'll file a paypal dispute.

Im considering just contacting gridseed insted and popping up a .eu reseller shop.

Aparrently its doable for anyone.

Are there any .eu resellers yet? - ones getting stock directly from gridseed?
352  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: SCRYPT ASIC miner ready. BTC+LTC ASIC miner, 1THS(1000GHS) Bitcoin miner, 950W. on: February 22, 2014, 02:27:46 PM
Well, so far the best I can get out of a set of 10 is about 3.5Mh/s (850MHz)...a far cry from the 5Mh/s or so in the "secret picture" Jack has in the original post. I hope this is going to be something we can expect with a future firmware update to the controller. I tried turning the little voltage dial up on the power supplies, but it didn't appear to have any noticeable effect.

Had to cut and strip the power cables for the PSUs but it was the green/ground white/neg black/pos wiring someone else posted here, so that was easy. All of my miner cables were correctly colored. Unfortunately, the power cable for one of the USB hubs was bad out of the box...but I had another cable in my giant box of spares that works.

Setting these up is a cable management nightmare, but I've got it to where I'm happy with it. Now I'm just going to leave them overnight to do their thing and see how it goes. I had one of the controllers reset randomly on its own once, that I noticed - hopefully that isn't a frequent occurrence.

So far, I like these little guys...they look unique and the gadget factor is there. I just wish I could get the 500Kh/s performance seen in that photo...I wish Jack would tell us what was done to achieve that!

Look forward to hearing your overnight results. As for delays, I would chalk it up to being slammed with orders and possibly shipping issues out of China.

Honestly. No, its bad communication and even worse organization from Jacks side.

I have been on skype with him today and basically its chaos outthere from my understanding. The man doesnt know how to pair orders with tracking ID's - thats why so many of us never got our tracking ID.

He keeps saying "it will ship out tomorrow" and "we shipped all feb 15 orders now" ... But the man/group cannot figure out how to pair their order # with a tracking ID. - Guess they lack excel skils outthere.

Im pissed, insulted, frustrated and annoyed with this guy. Hes been playing around with $2800 usd of my money for 11 days now without telling me shit. Thats fucking annoying!

+1 - absolutely spot on the guy has no clue - he should have stopped accepting orders if he couldn't handle the amount coming in - his admin work is shocking as you said all that needed to be done was pair payments with tracking ids and orders etc. No problem waiting in the queue but there are serious problems when orders start shipping all over the place, people waiting for acknowledgement of payment etc

I just want to point out. I defended this guy in the beginning cause I understand he was having a hard time. But I really thought he'd catch up and step it up.

If you wanna run a business in the mining "industry" .. you gotta be able/prepared to deliver. This show from asiabtc is just downright disgracefull.

So its a combo miner, sha-256 and scrypt? We can't only get a.scrypt version? Also, what's the price of the miner

Have you even bothered to read just a little part of the thread..? - Just wondering.

Relax guys....

My thoughts..

Jack got swamped with the interest/activity around his units. Basically wasnt expecting the load hes having right now.

Give the man a little time to send out orders.

I paid my order via paypal on the 11th. Jack has been responding to my emails within 24 hrs on all occations.

The more you spam him, the less time he/the team has to get packages ready for shipping.
359  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: SCRYPT ASIC miner ready. BTC+LTC ASIC , combo.Open sale now. on: February 18, 2014, 06:23:08 PM
So there is one, single person who has received their units so far?   Huh

I think Beastlymac also received the first part of the group buy order. Beastlymac will have to confirm this.

From his posts it sounds like he recieved a bulk order.
360  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: SCRYPT ASIC miner ready. BTC+LTC ASIC , combo.Open sale now. on: February 18, 2014, 04:07:21 PM
For you paypal folks. I think paypal in china is like trying to fit a golf ball through a pinhole.  Lips sealed

It is why BTC is becoming so popular in china. They over-regulate. Your money will get to jack if it hasnt already. Its just going through every fincen regulation in chinese existence first.

Jack is consistently proving himself. Give him the trust he deserves.

Two weeks and no confirmation on receiving 5500USD. My bank says it went out the same day without problems. Don't forget that AvalonShenzhen and BTMine started out on the up and up before going bad.

Edit: It seems only two members here have reported receiving paid orders. Anyone else receive their order? I was told my order would ship by last Saturday and I cannot get a real answer on if they received the USD. I do not recommend sending any money to Jack until these payment issues are resolved.

I think Jack is very very busy! I am also still waiting for confirmation.

You have to imagine that suddenly 50 people comes where have a tons of questions and make order, payment and so on. This is a lot of work!

And very inefficient work as one guy is doing all of the communication via email/pm/etc.

A decent FAQ and Standard reply to all questions would save craploads of time.

On the other hand. Having one guy handle the comm isnt a bad idea. Responses will most likely be more simular to everyone.
