561  Other / Meta / Re: Proof of Authentication Posts are life savings on this forum on: October 23, 2020, 11:13:38 AM

yes, POA makes thing easier for any bounty campaign but it also makes bounty manager work harder. they must double or triple check it everything in every week. so i think they're not stupid but they just tired.

It's their job it's not an easy job but if they will not implement it it will be chaos, bounty managers will never know  who submitted what and when, if they are tired then get an assistant or do not apply to be a bounty manager, we need a well organized bounty or the project will lose it's repuation.
562  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: If only we had a crypto version of Ebay that could save us the hindrance of fee on: October 23, 2020, 06:21:33 AM
If I could remember correctly, there are some projects that have tried to come up with this market place concept but most of them are dead, and some other struggling to survive.
I think the reason why starting this Kind of project will be a bit of a hassle is because fiat is still very much dominant over crypto and the moment, imagine the users paying in crypto for the item they purchased, and the owners of the platform going through the hassle of converting crypto to fiat in order to pay for the maintenance of the platform.
More projects like this will have a higher chance of success when crypto becomes much more dominant over fiat.

It will takes some years for that to happen, right now Paypal will integrate Cryptocurrency in their platform and will allow access to their millions of merchants, I think it's better this way that a big company integrate Cryptocurrency than build one, the hardest thing is starting out with Paypal everything will be set up..
563  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: List of Casinos to Avoid on: October 23, 2020, 05:42:58 AM
It's good that we have a list like this, the scam section are full of gambling sites with a lot of bad reports but they are not compiled just like this, this is a big help for those looking for online casinos that they want to avoid, I hope OP will update whenever there is a new gambling site that has a bad reports.
564  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ POLL ]: Boxing - Anthony Joshua vs Kubrat Pulev on: October 22, 2020, 10:31:41 AM

“I would never, under any circumstances, allow myself to show disrespect to another human being on racial, ethnic or religious grounds. That’s what I’ve been teaching my little nephews all the time. Each of us is born on this earth with equal rights, and skin color is completely irrelevant.

“I can’t believe how my words about Anthony Joshua have been taken out of context. It never even occurred to me to discredit another sportsman because of the color of his skin! Amongst my friends there are people of different races and ethnicities. They are all great and worthy people, as well as my very good, long-standing friends whom I respect and love.”

He already corrected it many people just want to sell the fight and make it personal but if there are no videos circulating and he made a correction already, he do not want people to perceive him as a racial guy and, I don't want to sell the fight this way also, honestly the fight is not interesting but it should not be promoted this way to generate more interest.
565  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost more in the process to recover ? on: October 21, 2020, 03:40:11 PM
I guess this would have happened with the most of us ain't it ?

The other day I lost a few $ gambling on Roobet. My luck was so bad that day that when I thought of gambling a little more so that I recover the lost funds I lost more than 3 times the amount I lost earlier  Grin Grin Eventually I just quit the game and didn't play it again for 2 days. This is too obvious for any gambler and everyone can relate to this feeling.

What you guys do when such a thing happen with you ?

P.S : I did play the game again after a few days and recovered some of the $. But this time I quit the game while I was in profit.  Tongue

P.P.S : I was conscious while I was trying to recover the lost funds and I tried only till that point where I can't afford to lose anymore. I always keep in mind the amount that I can afford to lose.

What you've done is too risky I experienced that many times and I lose half of my savings this is the reason why I exercise control over my gambling, you cannot win if you keep on trying to get back your losses, the hardest thing is to chase your losses you must take it as it is and on every game forget your past losses.
566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: bitcoin and altcoins bull run every 4years. how many years already? 🐂🐃🦈 on: October 21, 2020, 02:56:43 PM
when do you think is the next crypto bull run?

I've checked the price right now and it's now on the $12700 level although there's a possibility of correction along the way and it will settle to the $12300 level. it's still a good indication that we are moving to bull run, 2021 has a lot of good things to offer to us could be the next big thing year in Cryptocurrency.
567  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Card Counting in Blackjack on: October 21, 2020, 11:19:37 AM
I'm not sure if this is still applicable in our time now because gambling company now are more stricter than before.
and specially in Online gambling when the computer is involve in managing the strategy we are doing.

Online casinos are created to make a profit and to become sustainable, if they have blackjack in their platform they already know this card counting system and they have a system to combat card counting, I don't think you can use it and have not seen a thread here so far about a player who made a lot from card counting in an online blackjack site.
568  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust newbies that starts projects? on: October 21, 2020, 02:52:00 AM
I know many project managers that handles good projects such as Jamalezaz, bounty detective, and many others most of them are either hero members or legend, I believe they have enough experience to handle it mere considering their ranks, not to say the rank is the only criteria to be a good project manager.i always doubt those project starters with newbie ranks.is it that they decide to use a new forum page,or were the restarting after being hacked or disqualified or how come a new be is handling a project? This are few questions that comes to my mind about newbie managers.
If they know what they are doing and they know how to run a bounty campaign smoothly, I don't see any reason why they should and cannot run a campaign, I have seen independent bounty manager running a campaign here, and I have seen bounty managers that are part of the team that also run a smooth campaign here, the big concern is the project if it is legit and not the bounty manager.
569  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can i earn merit very quickly? on: October 20, 2020, 04:23:16 PM

570  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What does it mean? on: October 20, 2020, 02:22:12 PM
I think this is a bug.
Vod would be the right contact person here...
Suchmoon is in control of the bpip project now, Vod has left few months ago as far as I know.
@suchmoon
Why don't you add the date which could resolve the issue I think. Some people may get confused due to this. If possible, adding date would be helpful I think.

This is a little bit scary I was thinking of changing my password from time to time because of the many hacking, I sometimes log in to a public computer and I have to protect this account, but seeing that it's just a bug I feel relieved.
571  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Coinmarketcap isn't safe for newbies who don't want to learn on: October 19, 2020, 05:36:41 PM
I believe newbies keep joining crypto space every day and I will like to share a warning about coinmarketcap and what most newbies are still doing wrong on this platform, if you visit https://coinmarketcap.com/new  you will get the list of new projects listed on coinmarketcap everyday, a newbie told me that he choose new projects through the link I provide up there, the truth is coinmarketcap don't care, they list many new projects without caring about if they are legit or fake, tons of useless tokens are getting listed on coinmarketcap and you need to stop this madness before it's too late, majority of these coins and tokens have no volumes, stop investing on these coins and tokens, it will only end up breaking you

Coinmarketcap is just a price indicator if you think that Coinmarketcap will show you what coin is good to invest, you will end up losing everything so many coins in the market are pump and dump coins, that is if you are looking for a new coin to invest, but if you are investing in the top and legit coins in the market, then coinmarketcap is your friend and ally.
572  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Feels like we are going ICO round 2 all over again on: October 19, 2020, 05:22:57 PM
Just imagine if there is no big hype of DeFi projects today will new developers start switching to DeFi potential or build DeFi projects from scratch? No I guess, this is why I think that majority of DeFi projects will die between now and coming year, a painful death I think because they will turn scam, ICO investment websites are full of unknown DeFi tokens that are targeting uniswap exchange for listing, the DeFi tokens have no ANN on this forum and they have low max supply, what's even more disturbing is that people are investing on these coins, I feel like we are going ICO round 2 again

People should have learned from the lesson of the past that they should do diligent research on what they are investing and do not go for FOMO or hype, they have nothing to blame but themselves if they still fall into an obvious scam, these tokens that are being listed in UNISWAP are useless tokens with are bringing nothing to the table, and to the community.
573  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your Portfolio before and after the pandemic on: October 19, 2020, 03:29:21 PM
The pandemic has no effect on my portfolio and it was increased as the way I planned it to be. And it should be true for most of us.
Though pandemic limited the income of most people, it also decreased the overall expenditure for normal people.
People who depended on labor wage like factory workers may have had a hard time but they generally don't have an crypto portfolio or any sort of  investments.

Well I am a part-time factory worker and I do have some coins in my portfolio but not that many but not all those who are working in a factory do not how to invest in Cryptocurrency I also have a friend on social media where his main income is coming from farming and he has a big cryptocurrency portfolio, so it's not for businessman and investors only.
574  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you read the TOS of a gambling site? Honest answer please. on: October 19, 2020, 12:00:18 PM
I want to make a survey from gamblers in the forum if they are really reading the TOS of the gambling sites they are playing with.

Therefore, I request you to vote and give an explanation on why you voted yes or no?

They are all almost the same you only need to read one popular gambling site and it covers every existing gambling and besides I know the basic rule of gambling do not use bot do not create multi-account, and don't cheat the system everything comes down to this basic rules follow this rule and you will be safe.
575  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay away from centralized wallets on: October 19, 2020, 03:42:26 AM
Do you even know the difference between Centralized wallets and Dec wallets? Days back I lost my coinbase account and the team aren't helping, I'm glad I only have little Bitcoin on the account, would have been a different story if I use coinomi or atomic wallet because they give users 💯 control over their funds, private keys and recovery seed are important, always remember that

Example of Centralized wallets
1. Coinbase
2. Nexo
3. Luno
4. Xapo
5. Freewallet

Any wallets that ask you create an account with mail and password is centralized, they monitor your private keys for you, be smart

If you cannot stop yourself from using a centralized wallet do not store a huge amount of Bitcoin, you should have full control of all your funds with no third party interference, this is what Nakamoto wants and what you should do to all your coins, you should be aware what wallets are centralized and what wallets are decentralized.
576  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people still fall victim to obvious scam? on: October 19, 2020, 03:00:53 AM
FOMO plays a big role here people because of their greediness do not want to be left behind and do not want to be the last to buy when the market price is just starting to rise they want the floor price and sell it when it hit the selling, many falls victim to this scenario and these are newbies.
577  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The bounty scam will gradually go away on: October 18, 2020, 05:14:28 PM
Just recently we are beginning to have some Twitter campaign giving hunters reward in btc in the service section. This is one sure way to take off this muster that seem like a cancer called bounty scam.

I'm believing that gradually, will may start seeing the inclusion of other social media signatures like Facebook, LinkedIn, medium, article, videos, blogs and many more, coming up in  both bounty section and service. I'm sure that hunters will prefer social media signature than the scam going on in the board.

We can all wish that but only one or two campaign is doing that right now we don't know if this sustainable we all developers do no thave budget for this kind of campaign, they are still going to rely on their own token to reward bounty hunters because it's free money, they want all the coins coming from their sales on their coffer to maximize building their platform or they will have more money if they are going to run away.
578  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tron and Waves team up to develop DeFi projects on: October 18, 2020, 03:22:56 PM
I think that it is gonna be a strong cooperation. Both tokens have their own networks with specific benefits. Hope this defi project of theirs is gonna be a success.

This one escapes me I have the opportunity to buy a lot of Waves two months ago when it was traded at $1 instead I opted to go to Eth seeing Eth features and edge, well it's really unexpected things like this do happen, and you are caught off guard but it's not yet late the partnership will go a long way.
579  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Lomachenko vs. Teofimo Lopez Lightweight Unification fight - October 17 on: October 18, 2020, 01:04:38 PM
I consider this as a candidate for the upset of the year but although the likely winner is the Whyte - Povetkin match we'll see on their second match if Whyte can even the match, I looked past Lopez performance he shows class and dominant I never thought Loma can be tame but Lopez tame him, this is the real only loss of Loma, I consider his first loss as controversial.
580  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Are You Afraid of KYC? on: October 17, 2020, 11:39:18 PM

In my case, I have submitted my KYC only to few exchanges. But only because it is required on their platform and I had the coins needed to trade in their exchange. Also, to my local exchange as I need it to convert my crypto to fiat. But as much as possible, for exchanges not requiring KYC below 2-3 btc daily withdrawal limit, I just keep it that way. Anyway, I'm no big trader, so that daily limit is actually more than enough.

I did the same if I am going to trade and the limit that I am going to withdraw does not require that I undergo KYC I just don't go KYC I wait for them to ask me or require me to undergo I am not also a big trader and I have been trading in three exchanges for years now and until now I did not exceed my limit, I am not afraid to undergo KYC as long as the exchange or any site is legit and compliant.
