401  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Second phase of lockdown (Nigeria) on: January 03, 2021, 10:03:44 AM
In Africa to be precise Nigeria is preparing for the second phase of the covid-19 lockdown which according to the president says it will be extended for four weeks(one month) after recording new cases in Lagos.

Our country is doing all it's best for this new strain not to get in to the point of banning countries that has this new strain, and there's already an announcement that if the strain land on us, our government will be force to implement another total lock down, until now we still don't have it but our government is very much aware of the harmful effects of this new strain.
402  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [POLL] Let’s say Trump did win the election... on: January 03, 2021, 09:48:56 AM
I think at this point even if the election was rigged, we should focus on fixing the problems going forward. Having Trump continue to be president after Biden was widely announced as the winner would be a strange asterisk on election results that would be an embarrassment to America. While this is the most typical 2020 election result we could have expected, I’m not sure we want to carry this on beyond January 20th.

What do you think? Is it about who rightly won or respecting the given outcome?

This is the first time it happen I thought it only happen to other countries like mine where losing candidate will never admit that he losses the election but only got cheated, I never thought that a losing US presidential candidate  will do such thing, this is a bad precedent, they are the leading democratic country and their leaders should know when is the right time to admit his loss, Trump ruin so many things.
403  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Ryan Garcia vs Luke Campbell WBC Lightweight Interim Title (January 2) on: January 03, 2021, 09:17:44 AM
Against Davis he will be in trouble if he has a weak chin, Garcia needs more fight before he fight the likes of Davis and Haney, I like Garcia than the two but he should be ready if he is going to be face the two, he is quite underrated against these two fighters the lightweight division is getting a lot excited with the present of these three fighters.
404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Things will be different this time around on: January 02, 2021, 10:35:02 PM
To all those saying altcoin season won't likely happen, in January 2018 altcoin season was able to triggered because bitcoin was done for at 19k to 20k at the time, this time bitcoin isn't done yet, you can see that dominance is increasing too, it might take longer than expect, stop expecting history to repeat itself in same ways like 2017
I don't expect altcoins to behave like they do in 2017, back then investors are looking to be an early birds of altcoins so they buy a lot of these altcoins in the hope that it's value will increase just like Bitcoin, but they ended up losing money, now investors knows the direction where Bitcoin is going and they know what coins are they going to support.
405  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the biggest mistake you've made on crypto? on: January 02, 2021, 03:55:22 PM
We all have the same regret and that is selling at the wrong time, only those who can afford to embrace the philosophy of Hodling can hold on to their coins for a long period of time and sell it for profit, my biggest mistake of course selling at the wrong time but no regret I need the money so badly and selling is a life saver for me.
406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What altcoins will do best in 2021? on: January 02, 2021, 12:35:57 PM
What do you think?

Ethereum should be the number one choice, Litecoin, Doge Bitcoincash, Polkadot Binance, old and proven coins and tokens that are on the top 10 are sure winner in your portfolio with the exception of Ripple, which is expected to be out in the top 20 in market, if you have a huge amount of money to invest go for the top 20 if not go for the top 10, I exclude new altcoins for now.
407  Economy / Economics / Re: Loan scam in India allegedly headed by a Chinese Narional on: January 02, 2021, 12:32:33 AM
We have something like that in our country and they are many of these here they have an application where they offer 10 to 20?% interest what's worse is the hidden charges, and if you failed to pay on time, they are going to harass you on social media, glad that our SEC have issued warnings against these loan application loan scam are also operated here by Chinese they made it a country to country operation.
408  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Experience As A Bounty Hunter on: January 01, 2021, 03:17:41 PM

I really like being a bounty hunter, even though sometimes I help to promote projects that in the end don't pay off to me. but I kept on going on and on to keep up with projects that would eventually bring me income.
this is a bit of my experience as a bounty hunter.
I also want to know the experience you have...Thank yOU Guys

The best bounty campaign for me is the one I'm wearing now, I'm getting weekly earnings and it's Bitcoin which I can trade right away when I received my payout, I was burned on doing bounty on these new coins, since I joined this campaign I never looked back again, I don't want to have wasted time.
409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ethereum going to Die? on: January 01, 2021, 12:17:58 PM
No, there is not a single percentage of chance to Die Eth. If there is a chance then it can't hold the 2nd place for last 2-3years. I think ETH will dominate the crypto market with Btc. Earth is doing really good in the recent past and will do far better than the current situation. Most important and good news for the investor of ETh is few shops are already approved ETh and other 2-3 coins as virtual exchange value. You can buy coffee or pizza with Eth now.

It is still the leading smart contract platform in the industry and it will continue to be so for the next 5 years but they will encounter a lot of competition from other platform, we don't know what the future holds for the industry maybe there will be a new smart contract revolution but for now it's still going to be Ethereum.
410  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LTC has replaced XRP for the 4th place on: December 31, 2020, 01:59:23 PM
According to the CoinMarketCap ranking, LTC is now the 4th highest marketcap coin as XRP lost its value significantly, 39% within last 24 hour and 63% in the last week which is the result of recent SEC regulation. This sounds good, good cryptocurrency are being recognised. And it's very potential for LTC as, if Tether goes wrong, LTC will be the 3rd highest marketcap coin in the cryptocurrency world.
Something big is waiting, maybe coming soon.

I still see Ripple in the 4th place but they will soon out of top 5 it's only a matter of days before this happen, if you look at the chart now, all the top 10 coins in the market are all showing green, with the exception of Ripple, only Ripple is in bear trend, if you are not selling Ripple, only two things, either you are a die hard Ripple fan or you are not aware of what's happening.
411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there real initiatives to fight scam in crypto?? on: December 30, 2020, 03:07:51 PM
Its treu that it become very hard to scam people and take theire money in the curent time but for now i dont know about any official organization that track scammers
If you know about anyone please share with me

There's not one, but the community is fighting these scam projects, we have the scam section and reputation section where people can create a thread on projects that's obviously or caught trying to scam investors, just visit these two sections more often to get the latest projects that are reported, it's a must section for every investors and bounty hunters.
412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: PI Network! A huge trap[Warning!] on: December 30, 2020, 02:45:52 PM
So is this shit stil alive or was it exit scammed finally?
TBH i've not heard a single peep or a PI shill in months, so i figured it just went away and people pretened it never existed

They are just going to surprised us,  those who mined this token will dump here I have some friends who continue to mine this token and their only motivation is they are just going to dump it when it hit the market, some of them are faking their credentials I hope PI Network will not ask for video KYC, that's way to risky.
413  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Help choosing altcoins to invest on: December 28, 2020, 12:04:06 AM
I am considering  to invest in a token AME (amepay) i think that it will be successfull with the lunch of their ieo soon on bkex exchange, they have a great team taking a lot of precautions to ensure the project and token lunch success.
Here is a link to their website
https://amepay.io/
If you have other good altcoins  to invest in please share it with us.

Amepay is good I am in their telegram channel and they have a lot of update I remember them doing signature bounty campaign paying through Bitcoin and this is when people notice about this campaign, and they are still holding a signature campaign which is good for a projects that wants to create awareness, I'm holding some Amepay token I hope they can keep it up.
414  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH still going higher as our anticipatiion on: December 27, 2020, 03:02:25 AM
It's expected it's the second most popular coin in the market and the leading innovator of the smart contract, the original is always the best and always get the support, the price movement looks slow, but it will eventually break it's old all time high, I expect the price to be broken on the first quarter of the year.
415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP is DEAD?! Ripple XRP DUMPING?! Buy the dip? Price Prediction! on: December 27, 2020, 01:48:58 AM
I would cut my losses and move on as there bunches of way in crypto. I'm not feeling good the current legal issues facing XRP with the Feds. I don't know exactly why, but I would sell because of messy circumstance and get some other potential coin and keep investing in crypto.

Other holders should do the same SEC issue is just to big to ignore, there are other coins worth investing there are die hard Ripple holders that are stubbornly holding Ripple, they should prepare for a storm, anyway Ripple have the money to hire top rank lawyers but we all know SEC if they have a case against big company it's airtight and will stand in court.
416  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: December 26, 2020, 04:34:19 PM
Here is a thread I created about the SEC filing charges against Ripple: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5302872.0

Even though Ripple will fight the allegations and charges in Court what is clear is that this will take a long time before any resolution is found and with an appeal pending immediately regardless of who wins after the verdict is announced, it will take even longer for things to become clear.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-55415350
https://www.cnbc.com/2020/12/23/cryptocurrency-xrp-plunges-25percent-after-sec-files-lawsuit-against-ripple.html
https://www.ibtimes.com/why-sec-suing-ripple-what-know-about-xrp-lawsuit-3108368

It's like Ripple had a hanging sword of Damocles on their head, even if the decision will take longer, investors are not comfortable holding Ripple now, they better of with a coin that guarantees it's long term existence in the market, things could go bad this year for Ripple if they did not play their card right.
417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Year 2021 XRP Price 1 Dollar on: December 26, 2020, 02:27:49 PM
End of 2021 There is no coin called ripple left. all exchanges delist of the trade. seems possible but too hard.

Not sure if it will be delisted, but after this airdrop the price rise will be difficult and may have to wait for long month before even touching 1$ now. So the recent falls all happening was due to its airdrop and this might just kill XRP long time bullish all who were like will reach 3$ or so which may just not happen anymore.

You should check out the news from reliable media, some big exchanges are now restricting people coming from the US from trading this is just one of the first step, there's a big possibility that Ripple will be de listed because those US based exchange don't want to meddle with SEC decision, let's see in the coming days there's more to come to this.
418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is DeFi Dead? on: December 26, 2020, 10:33:00 AM
DeFi is still going to be the trend next year but before you invest or venture in these DeFi projects be sure you know how DeFi works don't just go for the hype or part of the domino that will go where the shills points you to go, do your own research it's your money you should be in control on where to invest.
419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What You Think About UNI coin Is It good to Hold It For Longterm perspective on: December 25, 2020, 11:56:22 PM

back to the UNI coin, if Uniswap can remain popular in the future. this coin could be the next BNB.

It's on it's way to become the next BNB in decentralized industry the volume will speak for itself
24 Hour Trading Vol $256,549,139 it's the number one decentralized exchange in the industry and this is a go to exchange for new and old coins
I will not be surprise if it reaches $100 in the future.
420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think DeFi season is going to be just like Altcoin season? on: December 25, 2020, 10:58:46 PM
Smells a lot like 2018 doesn't it?

It's already happening many DeFi projects are exposed and reported and many more DeFi project are launch there's really a big similarity between the two they are on the same path, many scammers are now into DeFi projects because they cannot scam through ICO anymore, so they turn their eyes to DeFi.
