What have you been using your ETH for?
For trading To buy ICO For long term investment Other - explain
Since I am a trader and a bounty hunter as well I need to also invest in Ethereum because all of the coins I'm trading and promoting are ethereum based smart contract and besides this is the number two coin in the market, it's a big must that you have this coin in your portfolio.

Yes of course but Japan has done what other country has failed to implement, they are our model but we need not argue as long as there are countries accepting cryptocurrency and embrace, it's going to be great for cryptocurrency in general we are all praying that full and massive adoption will finally come.

I feel that i never have enough coins. To day i just bought another batch with Icon (ICX) i am not only bullish on ICX but wish i had more of WAN,VEN,ONT,NAV,OMG and EOS.
Do you guys feel the same thirst/hunger to buy/add more fiat to the crypto world. And when is enough ?
Because of the long downtreand we have been withness to now. Do i start to be positive to what i see right now. And want to take a loan in the bank 50k to buy more of the coins that i have mantion in this thread. The plan is to make 2-3x and sell some and pay back the loan. I know this sounds crazy to most of you and i know it is.
Positive and negative comments are all welcome in this thread. Thanks
That's risky but if you are comfortable with it and have done an analysis why not, once the bull run returns you could be making huge I am not an aggressive investor but update us on your profit and loss we are all going to learn from your experiences

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to know if Bounty is scam?
|
on: August 02, 2018, 12:30:24 PM
|
How do you know if it is a scam? Because I have encountered a bounty that let me finish all the translations first and didn't respond to me after I have passed it. I hope bounties will not be like this anymore because they demand and we did our part but they didn't do theirs. I hope you could answer my question.
The answer is the ICO is a failure and did not generate enough funds for the project to continue, so they are not going to pay bounty hunters because the project will be pause, I have seen so many projects like this when I was just starting out in this forum, maybe because investors are now very choosy when it comes to investing in ICO.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: can bitcoin would actually be overthrown?
|
on: July 30, 2018, 11:15:46 AM

There are a lot of rumor right now while the value of bitcoin is decreasing that is can be potentially be overthrown. i know for a fact the bitcoins technology is kind of outdated compared to the new ones coming out of the market, but the coins value is so high right now and is also wildly known because of this popularity bitcoin invites new investors in the platform.I think ETH would be the toughest contender in overthrowing the coin perhaps it also has grown popularity over the couple of years of its existence and is also continuing to grow.
Can bitcoin can be potentially overthrown by other coins? what are you thoughts? and what coins do you think can out run bitcoin?
It's the community who would decide it, it will depend on the volume, right now the closest rival is Ethereum because it's the most widely used in Ico and majority of the altcoins are using their smart contract and wallet, if the ICO will not stop ethereum can be a big threat.

Hello Everyone, I'm very new to Altcoins, Cryptocurrencies In General. I'm Looking for someone's advice that has been around for a while to kind of give me some tips or pointers on how to spot legit coin's, what to look for before investing. Really just any guidance on a basic level would be greatly appreciated.
Since you are a newbie, why not looked at a more stable coin than investing in Ico, once you have ample knowledge on what kind of coins are the one that looks stable, you will have an idea on a good coin to invest, Ico now is more like a gambling many of them are running away.

I had invested one ICO previously, it failed although I didn't contribute a huge amount on it. A news yesterday made analysis on blockchain ICO projects, mentioning 92% of these ICO projects are failed.. Should I stop investing the others or any really potential ICO suggest?
It's really a sad state investors now prefer to invest when the coin hit the market, now in the Ico stage, because it's more profitable because early investors with big bonus and bounty hunters are dumping their coins to make a quick profit in a short term not thinking the profitability of the project in a long haul.

Many of us don't care about meaningless partnerships. This project has been a real dissapointment.
that's true Credits is doing many partnerships but all are not really promising. But we need to start with something after all. What I don't understand is that we didn't get our coins and can't confirm the real transaction speed because of that.. This is something that devs should address once and for all, people invested on Credits because they posted or brag that they can do a million transactions per seconds, that's what i read, they should deliver what they promise to gain more trust.

I think that there are least 1 token or project or exchange were born everyday! When I read ANN. Oh. I didn't research all. Maybe we have miss some good project.....Because there are too Project... I hate this thing on Crypto I agree it's like an ocean, its hard to catch the right fish to cook, the market is saturated it's hard to keep up, you need to be a whale to invest on every ICO that are coming up, I wonder can these ICO still exist in the next two years, investors are now very picky.

Bitcoin breaks $8,000 and still increases every hour. The whole market, altcoins are also green and solid growth. This is the best new today for crypto enthusiastic. I think that the Bull Market has come. What do you think?
I hope it is the beginning I'm trying to be more enthusiastic on this, although some of the coins I'm holding are still dropping like Credits I should have bought more Bitcoin back then and only small altcoins, it's still more profitable to invest in Bitcoin than altcoins.

This project is definitely dead. Developer is not online since 19 Dec. No news since that. Website is offline too, activity on Ether/Forkdelta inexistent. DEAD. BTW anyone knows if the bounties were paid? Cheers!
I agree I have a friend who got an airdrop here and it's just a waste of time this is one of the reasons why I do not participate in airdrops anymore, you are lucky if 10% of your airdrop will have a value but there are still a lot of people doing airdrops, for me airdrops are now over.

Hey,
with all these ICOs going on in parallel it seems impossible to stick out for a good one.
Reddit and this forum get flooded with announcements of new ICOs making it almost impossible to spot good ones. Facebook blocked ICO advertising. Google Adwords blocks use of word ICO in ads in certain countries already. Twitter is drowning in ICO announcements. Listing pages are popping up everywhere, too.
What are the ways you guys use to learn about new ICOs and how do you find out the good ones ?
One of the best place, in my opinion, is their chat channel, second best is this thread because anyone can see it even if they are not a member of bitcointalk, Google always indexed all discussions here on Bitcointalk, but on their chat channel, the devs are more hands-on to answer questions.

As we all know, bitcoin is the most famous in digital virtual currency. with the effect of national policy, bitcoin is hurt. Change the angle,if the bitcoin is banned, who can replace, even do better than it? Do you have the suitable choice in your heart? Just tell us!
Maybe Ethereum can take the place or another Bitcoin fork there are at least 6 bitcoin fork, so in case we need another one then those Bitcoin can take over, but I still doubt at this point of time if Bitcoin can be replaced, it will not be in the next five years.

Honestly, I haven't seen it closely but based on what I'm reading this is very opposite of Bitcoin or another cryptocurrency that values decentralization, because it is centralized but people still investing on it, so we can say as long as it is profitable people will still invest on Ripple.

I was trying to buy NEO coins but I didn't know it's not an ethereum based tokens. I searched for NEO contract address on google and I got one, not knowing it's a fake NEO created by a scammer. I used the contract address on forkdelta and it brought the fake NEO with the price slightly different from the original NEO being traded at bitforex. I was about buying before I sensed that something was wrong cos there was neither a trade history nor any buy orders; only sell orders. That was how I got saved from being scammed. Please be weary of these people especially if you're a newbie in crypto world.
You are one lucky guy, you escaped that one, scammers and hackers are now getting good in what they are doing, as you can see a lot of post of their wallet getting hacked so better install metacert to verify the site that you are going to visit and of course, bookmark the real site so as not to get lost.

I participated in many aridrop projects. It's usually scam and does not pay me. Now should I continue to join the new aridrop project? Please give me your advice.
Still have at least 10 airdrops coins here and some of this is as old as three months and they are still no value, I'm beginning to think also it's a waste of time, like all the others are saying I haven't seen one making a lot from these airdrops, so its a total waste of time.

For some weeks now I don't hear people say bitcoin is dead any longer. I don't understand why this has stopped all of a sudden. Where are those who announced the death of our mother coin? Don't you think it is time for these same people to announce the resurrection of bitcoin . That is the power of bitcoin, it always keeps it doubter's mute. Do you know that Bitcoin died 300 times and this is also the number where it rises check out the compilation of Bitcoin dead on this website that records Bitcoin's dead https://99bitcoins.com/bitcoinobituaries/ every one should bookmark this thread for reference and for the unbelievers.

What do you thing, where crypto currency is going? Do you think this is end of crypto?
There should be enough reason why cryptocurrency should end, based on the current situation cryptocurrency is not going to end yet, it's actually the other way around, cryptocurrency is getting a good adoption rate, and it's only a matter of time before we can see big companies online and offline using cryptocurrency.
