981  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Drop in ICO Price after listing on: December 02, 2018, 11:33:42 AM
I invested and joined as bounty hunter in many ICO which has good concept, experienced team members and also good hype but after listing price drops very much. Some of project also not recovering since long time. Any comment.

That is now the danger in investing in ICO there are few ICO is a really profitable majority of ICO now are having a hard time reaching the softcap and getting people to buy in their ICO and surprisingly many companies are still launching ICO even if the market is obviously not good.
982  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: are there bounties worth paying $1000? on: December 02, 2018, 11:28:50 AM
The development of bitcointalk forum has really made a good change in my life ever since I was introduced into crypto. The forum has led me to search for bounties which pay well but I think the highest I have earned from participating in a bounty was worth $500. I want to know if there are very laudable projects which can fetch me over thousands of dollars. Guys, it will be a nice offer if you post some of the best bounties which pay over $1000 after completing the campaign.

I read some legendary members making that huge amount, but that was then when every ICO you join are legit and they are paying, and besides you should be super active in many campaigns for you to earn that amount and if you are lucky you will be victimized by fraud ICO
983  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market manipulation? on: December 01, 2018, 02:07:15 AM
I just came across a paper written by John Griffin and Amin Shams which states that the bitcoin price was being stabilized because of a coordinated price manipulation with tether.
I respect empirical studies but I don't want to believe that. Many have become millionaires because of their investments in bitcoin and other cryptos, which is what attracted even more investors as these new currencies were being adopted by many to conduct business.
I am still a bit puzzled by the results of the study.

Well care to drop the files here or the links to that study I'm pretty sure many will be interested on how they are doing that and if they can do that to Bitcoin it can be done to any coin as well, and in fact there are so many pumped and dumped coins in the market right now.
984  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: In an altcoin project, how many coins is too much? on: December 01, 2018, 01:51:55 AM
Running a small little research around here.  For example, Bitcoin has (or will have) a total of 21 million coins, tops.  Litecoin seems it will have up to 84 million coins, total.

In your opinion, when a new altcoin is created, how many coins is just too much?  I have seen projects with like 10,000,000,000,000 coins.  That looks almost like... a spam coin :/

A project however good that may look should not have billions of supply, I have seen good project with very large supply that struggle to make demand on their coins because to many people are dumping it, even if there are projects and platforms to offer the modest supply should be 300 million.
985  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What does KYC gives you ? on: December 01, 2018, 01:32:25 AM
I stopped participating in this airdrops with KYC, I don't see any point of participating because of you don't give your personal info to total strangers for just pennies, it's very risky and you are going to regret it later, the internet is a very dangerous playground to play with.
986  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto P2P new post on: November 30, 2018, 12:16:22 PM
If that is the real Nakamoto then he is back for something, I don't know about that website if it is likes all the other forum where the owner can change the password of the user, or a hacker has done this we never know but I guess there are a lot more to come from that account.
987  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: HitBTC scam! on: November 29, 2018, 10:49:58 PM
I used to trade in this exchange and that was months ago so far I've got all my withdrawals but seeing many members are having issues with it, and the many new exchanges coming up my option is open to transfer to these new exchanges, with all these issues they are ruining their reputation.
988  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is product important for a project? on: November 29, 2018, 10:45:39 PM
Guys, how do you think, is a ready-made product important for ICO project?

In my opinion, it is, because it can show investors that the team is ready to bring huge results and has future plans.

As an example - KickCity, event platform where each user is rewarded for event promotion. You can try it today. More information you can find here  https://medium.com/@kickcity_io/kickcity-public-beta-5aa66fafc5c7

The platform is very important in my opinion because without it the project will just become a pump and dump coins, investors will likely invest in a coin that has usage in the community this is one of the main issue in any ICO they cannot provide a good platform that is why prices is going down.
989  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Konios is now a scam ICO on: November 25, 2018, 11:00:56 PM
Good point but what is more alarming is they want to dump all their coins in LATOKEN before they run I admire LATOKEN for doing the right thing, they did not let Konios to scam more people they disable deposit and trading there could be more scam ICO like this in our midst so better watch out.

You should ensure that they had listed their token on Latoken during ICO or they listed after ICO had ended.

I have just researched, Konios listed their token for IEO. LATOKEN lists Konios (KON) Token Sale with 100% bonus on KON until July 28

And they cannot dump their token by themselves. If someone buy KON token after ICO fail, it's their fault because they have not research.

Latoken will carry a part of the responsibility if they didn't delist KON token promptly.

Honestly, I want the project to continue so many people are asking in their channel, some of these are bounty hunters and investors but I doubt they will, I will only believe if they announce but so far the channel is very silent only bounty hunters are posting.
Half of bounty hunters have already been paid.Remaining will get payment as soon as Gas fee gets low.Despite the fact that they have not reached the softcap, they are distributing tokens to bounty hunters

Honestly, I still don't consider them a scam because they are still paying their bounty hunters, and there were news that they are going to be listed and traded on LATOKEN so we better watch and follow the development fo this ICO, but we need to admin to make an announcement on their next step.
990  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounties are STUPID on: November 25, 2018, 10:56:55 PM
What's the point in distributing 2% towards bounties??

Those people will flip the tokens as soon as they get them, and it's usually much less people than it looks like due to multi-account.

Also the quality of the post is very low even for hero and "legendary" members.

If I had a coin I would never ever distribute part of the tokens towards bounties; I'd see that as a kick in the nuts to legit ICO participants.

So how they are going to promote their ICO they will have to spend thousands of dollars out of their pocket just to see their ICO in facebook and other social media account, they can opted to advertise here but they must pay right away forum administrator will not accept credits and with your own token.
991  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what do you think FCoin? Will you want to join in it? on: November 25, 2018, 10:46:32 PM
Fcoin is the worst exchange i have ever been to and it has no technical support I lost money from deposit because of that.

Why not post it in the scam sections along with your evidence so people will know and verify if this is true, honestly this is the first time I read about that coin but it's too good to be true and I wonder why media is not covering it if it is legit and will add value to the community.
992  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If an ICO team is anonymous, is it a scam? on: November 25, 2018, 10:43:04 PM
if they do an airdrop that's ok of minus the KYC but if they are going to do an ICO there is a high risk investing in an anonymous ICO they are not scamming right away but it's questionable because you don't invest in people you don't know and where and who do you run after if it turns out to be a scam.
993  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: best exchange for traders on: November 24, 2018, 11:59:11 AM
am new in the game and am wondering which exchange will be best for a new trader, with respect to transaction fees and others

I highly recommend Kucoin too they have a superb support and very good security, everything you are looking for an exchange is all here, and they also share their income to their traders, so if you are a big trader you will earn more not only from trading but just being a member also.
994  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could this be the reasons of the recent downtrend in the crypto market? on: November 24, 2018, 11:55:14 AM
So I read from a news today on CCN https://www.ccn.com/vc-investor-outlines-3-major-factors-behind-65-billion-crypto-market-wipeout/ and a popular VC Chris Burniske stated that the 3 major reasons for the recent market fall was because
1) The US market retracement
2) Sell-off of Ethereum
3) The Bitcoin cash hard fork.

Do you think he is right?

Those reasons make sense but I don't think it is restricted to 3 reasons only but it's like a domino effect, once people saw a downtrend it create funds and gossips and sell out what started out as small sell out turns ugly because there are so many people who depend on news on their reason why they are holding their coins.
995  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To those who wanted AIRDROPS, there' a lot out there! Just keep searching! on: November 24, 2018, 11:49:10 AM
I consider these airdrops as shitcoins, they have not proven anything, this is what we've got for making easier for these people to create a token, they have diluted us with so shitcoins I believe they are run by the same admin and they are doing these over and over again.
996  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I may be wrong, thinking about the gov intervention on: November 23, 2018, 11:10:05 PM
I'm not sure, but in such a market condition, who else does agree that the government used a hidden identity and joined the crypto market to accumulate a large number of bitcoins, then sold it to affect its price? Or can the gov hires a couple well known personality to rule the every day news and kill it slowly?

I have not read anything like that in the news or it has not yet spilled in the industry, but if these things are happening, then the government might be losing a lot of money seeing how the market is trading in the bear trend, but it's just a speculation, the government will get nothing from trading, they might if they tax these altcoins.
997  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do lot of people hate bounty dumpers? on: November 23, 2018, 11:04:51 PM
if you analyzed it bounty hunters are only getting 2 to 7% of the supply the big bulks comes from investors or whales who wants to make a quick profit by dumping their investment, when it hit the market, they can do this because they have a huge 5 to 10% bonus as pre sale buyers.
998  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Hunters being trapped on: November 22, 2018, 09:08:14 AM
I have observed that most bounty campaigns nowadays are not complying with their tagret end date. No problem with extend the campaign but man, these projects are now imposing hunters to not remove their signature until the end of the campaign. This prevents participants from leaving the campaign. Poor participants cannot break free from this and to look for other productive campaign. They have no choice but get stuck and post for these companies. Did you have the same experience? or Do you observe the same pattern? please enlighten me.

Bounty hunters should follow the progress of the Ico they are promoting, if there is a sign that it will not reach softcap and the IOC will be a failure it is best to leave the project than stay with it and get nothing, I have done it in two occasions and my hunch is correct, ICO is a big failure.
999  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO devs should fear bounty hunters!! on: November 21, 2018, 11:29:15 PM
I agree that bounty hunters have a huge impact on any campaign and bounty platform, just look at what happens to bountyhunters.io one post and ruin that  their reputation, they thought that bountyhunters will just say yes to all their instructions, not it backfired very badly.
1000  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does panicking made you feel ease? Or depressed? on: November 21, 2018, 11:24:45 PM
When there are instances that when the coin you hold has turned to dumped hard, are you biting that move to panic sell all your coins? Do you feel ease that you sell all your coin when the dump starts? Or feel depressed when you dump your coins and turns out it almost x2 the usual price.

General sentiments are depressed and you can tell it here by the way members are posting and answering those post and it's obvious to tell, the market is down for a long time and it's hard to find a good coin to invest and if you looked at your portfolio it adds to your depression.
