1361  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: December 23, 2017, 02:49:56 AM
Does it make sense to believe that Bitcoin could one day be replaced by another cryptocurrency, that is, a cryptocurrency that really does make Bitcoin obsolete?

Yes it makes sense and one of this is actually a fork of bitcoin if you look at the current chart now the two popular bitcoin fork is gaining a lot of support from investors and traders and soon many merchants are going to use their service so it's possible in the future.
1362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [EXCHANGE] Bitmora - Digital Asset Exchange in Development on: December 21, 2017, 11:03:45 PM
correct me if i understand it right, so you guys are are going to create or the platform itself is a trading site wehre we can exchange crypto? if yes is it a decentralize trading platform?

We are are crypto to crypto trading platform. Think Poloniex or Bittrex. We will not be decentralized, but plan on working towards users being in control of their private keys in the future.

That is good but with new exchanges doing a profit-sharing like Coss and Kucoin shares it will have a hard time but you do have a unique feature like getting control of your private key I don't know of any exchange that has this feature and is this really possible?
1363  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop sending Bitcoin! on: December 21, 2017, 10:57:57 PM
You can ask some people but not the majority, bitcoin is a peer to peer transaction and a mode of payment, people are buying stuff online and offline using bitcoin it just cannot stop your appeal is useless but once this hyip and mlm stop doing business using bitcoin transactions will ease up.
1364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Fund Platform - An investment platform of crypto-currency funds on: December 21, 2017, 12:24:38 PM
I'm a junior member now and can join bounty campaign have seen a lot of signature bounty that accept junior member but Fund Platform seems to be the best ico right now, I have put the signature code and fill up the form, hope to get accepted
1365  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: McDonalds to accept Bitcoin by 2018 on: December 20, 2017, 11:39:42 PM

All the news i have read from crypto daily seem fake to me. I wouldnt trust that website

Me too it's just a bet nothing concrete I will only believe it, if Mcdonal official announces that they are using Bitcoin as one of their payment options, this is just pure speculation nothing concrete.

Cool take on things. Your comments usually seem very level-headed in my opinion.
Yes, there have been numerous improvements with the game itself, the site, the information brought into the game.
The blockchain, exchange and wallet are ready as to my knowledge and delays were caused by the wait time on FootballCoin's partners.
In my opinion, it could be a project that can rise quickly in popularity. But its peak should be reached in the Summer to coincide with the World Cup in Russia. I think it should be coin that increases in value in time, similarly to some of the few other serious projects.

Does this mean that the new blockchain and exchange have been delivered now?

Yes they just have been delivered.
We are now working on the last settings because there are some limits that are not appropriate and we need to have them changed before going public.
I have been following this thread and I believe this coin has a good future, there's been a long wait but let's see how good it turns out maybe the long wait is going to worth it, why not give them a chance.
1367  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Does Bitcoin work for online shopping? on: December 20, 2017, 11:06:56 AM
When it comes to transactions there is no way you can recover you can only do that if you bought it in a company but bitcoin is a peer to peer transactions so you need to be sure that you are sending or making a transaction from a trusted person, or else your transaction is a loss case.
1368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can bitcoin cash surpass bitcoin in the future? on: December 20, 2017, 02:26:34 AM
There's a remote possibility, but they are a long way to go to achieve that, you can see in the market cap and the daily volume that bitcoin is far ahead from the volume, but let's see after a year more, this is an open market and everybody is aware the high transaction fee.
1369  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin use for transactions are getting low on: December 15, 2017, 02:09:01 PM
Many are holding the bitcoins rather than spending it. If there is many transaction then automatically fee will be reduced due to large number of transactions. But, many are just holding it to get gain. if this trend continues, we will see a fall sooner or later.

You have a point we should encourage people to use bitcoin to buy stuff online and offline because this is what bitcoin is intended to use this is not meant to hoard bitcoin it will drop soon if these trends continue but who can stop these people from holding bitcoin everybody wants to make money of course.
1370  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it smart to put your bitcoin into daily interest websites? on: December 13, 2017, 09:30:34 AM
I found this website a couple days: https://freebitco.in/?r=10753095
I was wondering if it was smart to put it into this daily interest thing that they have? I'm not sure, but so far it doesn't look like a scam.

If you are comfortable with your investment and you will not be disappointed if ever it close shop and you still haven't get your investment, then take a risk the only hyip site I've known that has a long run is bitconnectcoin but I don't know if that site can compete with Bitconnectcoin.
1371  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Panic selling vs Panic buying on: December 10, 2017, 11:42:23 PM
Hey there!
A question of panic selling was already discussed on this forum a billion times. But whats bad here? If you are sure that the price will grow back then you can just buy some BTC in better rates. The more dangerous will be the situation when someone is buying BTC while being afraid of loosing some profits despite the fact that pump has already happened (I'm calling it a panic buying). Thats seems like a straight way to lose money and make a bubble.

It's normal for a human being to act like that because you are investing money that you have worked for but before investing you need to get a lot of advice and research and of course experience so you can combat stress and trade effectively it would take some time to become a very good trader.
1372  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it too late to buy bitcoin? on: December 08, 2017, 09:01:50 AM
Even the blind can see that crypto Currency is making people millionaires all  over the world just because they present the holders of such currency with the financial freedom and opportunity to accrue large amounts of wealth base on currency investment . But my question is that, is it late to buy bitcoin? Should i wait maybe bitcoin price will decline after 1st August meeting? Please i will welcome your advice so that I can make my decision on crypto currency investment.
If you bought a coin when this was posted and hold it until today you have triple your investment bitcoin right now is doing great in the market still increasing at $16,000 and i don't when will this stop and correct itself you need to trade smartly to get out in profit.
1373  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has seen the currency gain nearly $3,000 in a day - Is this healthy? on: December 07, 2017, 10:52:56 PM
What a crazy week!

Bitcoin has seen the currency gain nearly $3,000 in a day, and $6,000 in a week.
On Coinbase, it was trading at $19,000 at one stage today.
South Korea, as usual, saw the highest prices, at over $19,000 on Bithumb.

https://coinblip.com/blog/another-historic-day-in-the-life-of-bitcoin/

Is this healthy for Bitcoin in the long run?

It was predicted by experts years ago but I'm surprise that this thing happens so fast I thought it would be gradual with a thousand dollar increase in a year i hope it will steadily climb and it's just not a bubble ready to burst anytime or else many people will lose a lot fo money.
1374  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is bitcoin overhyped on: December 03, 2017, 11:15:53 AM
i didn't do any survey it was just the overall opinion i got, when i saw who was starting to talk about bitcoin and so on. also it has become a more and more popular topic at coffee-talk. this was more an assumption.

Well you should read more about Bitcoin and the general consensus and how well accepted Bitcoin in so many countries now, although there's still a lot of resistance I believe wide adoption is coming forth sooner than we all expected.
1375  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is like heroin on: December 01, 2017, 12:24:31 PM
I don't know if it is but for me it's both addictive and a challenge you never if it is going to crash or you will be ten times richer with your investment, but like all the other post here it will make you stay at night and get up very early just to check the price.
1376  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC - Buy it OR mine it... on: November 30, 2017, 10:37:03 PM
Very likely the best scenario is the most boring and simple one. Just buy Bitcoin and hold it for as long as you can. Your money could be worth tens or hundreds of times it's current value one day.

I agree don't complicate yourself by mining Bitcoin or even bother investing in cloud mining which just all turned to scam, just buy Bitcoin hold it and sell when you are in profit, but with to many people holding bitcoin, the price now is way to high than it is a month ago.
1377  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Companies offering service with BTC payment option. on: November 30, 2017, 02:46:04 AM
Currently, to withdraw BTC from majority exchanges is 0.001 BTC, current rate $9.68.
For any service charging under $9.68, you are paying over double the amount to receive the service.

Miner fees have now become ridiculous IMO, BTC no longer a viable option for regular payments.

Discuss...

Yes that's true bitcoin cannot be used for small purchase. we need a currency that can do that for us because the mining fee is very high right now I have tested that when I tried to buy a domain, I still use paypal and other traditional online payment processor for my purchases online.
1378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AIRDROP][ICO] [CTN] CommunityToken -The Token for Future Community Update! on: November 29, 2017, 12:25:15 PM
Quote
Distribution of ico will be held on 1 dec. 2018
Airdrop will start on 1 Dec. 2018 which distributed on 7 Dec. 2018
Follow on Twitter to get more updates about our program

Is this typo error or really the right airdrop date, so we will have to wait a year before members or interested parties to claim or participated in their bounty
1379  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN AS PAYMENT FOR ONLINE GAMES on: November 23, 2017, 11:07:49 PM
I need your opinion about having bitcoin for payments in online games, it is good or nah?

Using bitcoin as payments for in-game items and upgrades is very useful since many people are capable of technology devices though bitcoin and online games are done by computers.

I thinks its very efficient for me as a gamer and a bitcoin user to have a transaction or payment like that.

I have yet to use bitcoin as payment for online games, but it's very suitable since they are both online based, all I know is online websites uses paypal and credit card because of the charge back in case there's a complaint, I don't know if it is possible with Bitcoin.
1380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BCC] Bitconnect Coin - Decentralized Cryptocurrency on: November 23, 2017, 04:37:34 AM
Well, if even Ponzicoin managed to stay alive for years and thrive, why not would BCC manage to do the same? Wink

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/ponzicoin/

I'm surprised with it's popularity my facebook feeds are full of bitconnectcoin post and I been  even added to 5 bitconnectcoin without my knowledge, but ponzi is not my kind of thing even if it profitable the stakes is very high and very risky
