They said they ran into some issues with the app development and the team never really went into specifics really which I guess is forgivable hehe
We will just have to wait and see then. Any idea if the iOS app is actually used in real life? I can't really see it or test it for that matter. Either case I hope the team sheds light on the matter as I think it is taking longer than expected and I understand that the ICO is time consuming but would great to have a clarification. I think most of us are android users here that's why we don't know anyone who tried using the iOS app for tachain project. But still waiting for some of their update about the app. Most people visiting this thread or actively involved in here are android users. Some might be using IOS though... But we still waiting for any user to give a feed back though. |

Theirs a number of open source exchange code bases that a lot of projects are based around even if not fully a lot of them pull code from the open source projects I find it funny that people are mistrustful of opensource exchange code meanwhile the actual blockchain sand wallets are opensource lol
Well OpenSource codes and SourceCode are two different thing! I have nothing against OpenSource but i really find Source Code malicios! I just wanted to make share how they are gonna develop the whole thinks! Do you mean by Source Code closed proprietary code? Nothing beats open source with tweaks. Now the state of security is quite high and it is not really easy cracking things; however bad code is prone and that is what one should worry about. For exchanges, they will have to run hard testing. The open nature gives lots of people and developers with ideas to try out their hands on tweaking the codes to suite their idea... |

I would like to know if you plan on using any source code from other exchanges or your developer will do everything from their side?
Cause i thing source Codes are really unsecure as its easy to find vulnerability in them as Hackers have access to the sourcecode as well?
Using a source code from another exchange is risky. I should be made themselves. Would be better if they improved on it I highly doubt if they used such and by the way, even if they did, they won't make such information a public matter right? Well, at least I guess so. |

I think it’s useful in crypto but most exchanges don’t offer it I think an exchange that offers simplified stoploss via stable coin assets would be something I think a lot of newer traders would be interested in being able to use
Yea. I believe any individual trying to go into trading will have gone for training in one way or the other and must have been told about "stoploss" and its usefulness... Thus they will definitely be looking out for it in what ever exchange they pick. |

I still find it funny that so many people want to be investors but also want to be told exactly what to invest and exactly what the market will be in the future but the fact is you have to use your own judgement in crypto or fiat markets it’s the same

I was expecting announcement regarding Android based app from tachain team. It's October now and Android users are waiting for Tachain app.
Yeah, I can't really wait for it specially they will going to launch here first in our country. I really want to try their services and how good watching ads in exchange of Tachain tokens too. Correct me if I am wrong. well it can be said a stock market as well as crypto market! this market will be bringing so many new features like Margin Trading! its indeed a new thing to see in crypto exchange! they should add the stop lose feature, because this is a crypto currency that is very high in volatility, this feature will help traders and it is very useful, if ONAM has these features, its look good, this is my advice I like stop-loss in stock trading. But not sure whether this would be helpful in crypto. Its for the same reason explained by you that is high volatality. I don't think I get your point. Why would you say you feel it won't be helpful?? That's a really important part of trading assets online for any exchange platform and its important that all traders know how to use it and indeed use it cause it's sure helpful. |

I've checked with the team; they will be released that information as soon as possible. The amount raised I mean. I was hoping it was a live counter but I think because they were accepting different currencies they needed to that manually. Wow, thanks for taking the time to confirm with the team and share with us. I hope they update us on sales quickly and also hope they hit their target. It's not easy to keep live counters when team is accepting many currencies. But hope they can update the numbers shortly. That's has always been a challenge with some projects since the past. This is a massive selling point and this level of support is unparalleled when compared to exisiting exchanges. this is a very interesting feature but i will advice they list out the language they are going to be offering so that it will become clear to their community but like i said this is a very impressive service Ya it’s inportant to cover all languages and if not be clear regardless of what will be covered as theirs a lot of dialects and languages and you want to be clear which your looking to fully support If they really need to pick the language to support, I think they will have to look out for the language where most of their supporters come from an give more preference to that. |

We will see them soon in this thread. I've already read some of them here, maybe you've just overlooked that. Of course, they have better things to do than watching the BTC thread all day. I think the community can help itself here Yeah. Onam team is responding to the query raised here as well as at telegram channels. Answering all queries raised here is not easy job. Answering the queries, even as difficult as it is, is still the easiest part of it all. What's even more difficult is the tracking of queries within comments cause you will literally have to read all posts and comments to be sure you left nothing unattended to. That's if you really want to be thorough. |
