After the site went down, I don't see my publisher stats anymore. Is that something that you're still working on restoring?

I tried the service. I got 2 free bids, and played it in a game Astro N.Z.O. I made the highest score of 18,800 as opposed to the previous high of 17,200. I submitted my score. However, I did NOT get the free bids, and in fact my bid count dropped to 1. This seems fishy already, or perhaps buggy? Can you take a look DreamyBids?

Lets have a Bitcoin quiz. If folks score above 70%, then they can post immediately. It will help the more informed people get going and contribute right away while the real newbies can spend time in this forum, learn and make silly comments and suggestions (like this one).

Lol ruletheworld, that would certainly reduce the number of posters. I would prefer to see a peer review model introduce, where by senior posters can flag poster who abuse / spam the forum. These posters could firstly be warned, then if behaviour continues suspended from posting.

It wouldn't. It goes without saying that the quiz would be optional, if you want to bypass this procedure.

Hello From The East Coast of the United States. I hope you guys are doing well here. I'm in my 20s and hope to make some money with Bitcoin just like everyone else I suppose.

Welcome, good to see another East Coaster in his 20s who is a Bitcoin enthusiast!

Nice work!
You should sell this for BTC instead of traditional publishing/Amazon!
1567  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why Do People Buy Bitcoins On Ebay? on: May 31, 2013, 11:11:17 PM
If they're not trying to scam you, I'd guess it is because they don't know better, saw some speculative TV report and immediately went to eBay to buy the 'next big thing that will make them rich'. Sigh

I don't really see the problem. May the best idea win. Bitcoin has the first mover advantage anyway. It is a free marketplace for currencies, I see nothing wrong with it. If it isn't adopted, it will die a natural death.

Maybe with a brand new opening you need a brand new copywriter (yes you can hire me!)
You decide how much you want to pay people to visist your website.

Also, you should consider mentioning the minimum payout, so that we know if it is worth the investment in time. Bit Visitor, for instance, does a terrific job at this.
1570  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin mining on: May 31, 2013, 10:58:48 PM
Depends what your interested in. A HD 5450 is mining Bitcoins at about 15 mhash/s - thatīs about 7 Cent a day if your card does 24 hours nothing else than mining. If you are paying anything for power, there is no chance to break even. To learn how to mine Cryptocoins or just for the fun of it, you can use your card as it supports OpenCL.

Thanks for this nice answer, yes we do pay for electricity and 7 cents per day would really not do it. So would my best option be to save some money and upgrade hardware?

Thanks for all the opinions so far.

Honestly, in that case, you'd be better off just buying Bitcoins. Or even using some of the services that give you free Bitcoins. It's not going to get less competitive anytime in the future either. Depends on the cost of electricity too of course, but I assume that isn't too cheap. And don't forget the cooling costs for your home! Yes, the heat generated can actually significantly affect your cooling costs now that it is summer.

I am 25. Been in and out of the Bitcoin world, but finally decided to take a full plunge a few weeks earlier. Hoping to contribute something meaningful to the ecosystem. Trying out a few advertising services now
