The new sr.+ signature is too large (exceeded character limit).

Here's the old one:

thnkx for your great info Smiley
You will never get a loan of that magnitude without collateral.
Loans here are not investments. They're lenders doing a favor to people who would rather not sell their other assets at that time. Those assets are what we put up as collateral, because when the loan is all paid off they'll get it right back.

606  Other / Off-topic / Looking for help with this very special project... on: November 16, 2014, 03:15:51 AM
I'm making a web-based mining simulator set several years in the future.
You start with a few million dollars and have to start a BTC farm.

We're in the very early stages of development, but you can see what I've got so far here.
Register, have a look around, let me know if you can help. Smiley

Quick edit: No, it's not in a playable state right now. It does "work" though.

607  Other / Off-topic / Re: Capslock addresses on: November 15, 2014, 07:52:43 PM
There's one guy with an all caps address. Search for the vanity address thread.
I have much to learn
I wasn't able to get GPU working in linux, but it turns out my cluster of CPUs was enough to create the address I really wanted :

    1QBDLYTDFHHZAABYSKGKPWKLSXZWCCJQBX

Am I really the first person that has done this?  FreeMoney didn't even recognize it as a BTC address.  At the very least, people should recognize that one when they see it Smiley

A donation is on its way!

Never got confirmation email Sad

Still from what I've seen so far this looks very interesting Smiley

Can you send a private message with your username & e-mail you signed up with?
Then I'll take a look at what happened.

Also, be sure to check your spam folder Smiley

Could you verify me with a query? Tongue

You have been activated now Wink
This is awesome! I am excited for the release!

edit: Can we have the exchange section use textboxes instead of dropdowns? Smiley

610  Economy / Service Announcements / [ANN] Taras's BitcoinTalk sig campaign tracker on: November 15, 2014, 04:06:46 PM
Basically a tool for finding the best sig ad rates Smiley

Current URL: http://65.26.252.225/sigs/

I hope to expand the interface in the future but for now it should work as intended.

Thanks for all the comments Smiley I feel better about making my capslock address Grin
I guess I won't give up on getting a perfect one; I know I've seen someone do it at least once.
It's cool to mess around with vanity gens, only downside is that it takes so damn long.

I saw some one with address 1111111111111111111111... That must have taken him a freaking long time  Cheesy

Edit : This is the address 1111111111111111111114oLvT2
The private key for that address does not exist Sad
Any funds sent to it are provably lost.
613  Other / Off-topic / Re: I made a thing. Check it out on: November 15, 2014, 03:54:04 AM
Neat! I noticed, for example, the Hero Members link doesn't show Newbie signature campaigns, even though they are available to Hero Members.

Perhaps you could have the highest paying programs at the top, then the rest underneath.
I had intentionally omitted those. Maybe I'll put them up anyway. Wink

Another thing you could do is just make one big table, then have buttons to filter out the different ranks, payouts etc.

I was originally going to put a bunch of buttons on top to choose from. Just to switch ranks. I was in a hurry though so I just made that vase-shaped list page Grin
Bootstrap will make this button array real nice-looking, too!

By the way, the message under the rank selection changes on refresh.

Oh cool, didn't notice that! Do you know any good resources to learn web design/dev?

For design, play with HTML! For dev, play with PHP!
Before you screw with PHP make sure you understand HTML. (You have to use both)
I recommend w3schools. It's a real nice place to start.

Thanks, I've already read through most of the basic tutorials, but I'm just looking for something a bit more advanced. I guess the best way to learn is through practice though.

Basic HTML tutorials, or basic PHP tutorials? Wink
If both, play with SQLite. Make something with that and forms Smiley
614  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoins and Altcoins in Minecraft on: November 15, 2014, 03:49:28 AM
we need this in everyones edition of minecraft

Why do you feel it's important to have fan-made icons of virtual currencies in a block building game? I'm really curious.

Because now we can have armor made out of litecoins!
615  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is this Nick Szabo fellow and what are they all about? on: November 15, 2014, 03:39:02 AM
I think Hal Finney is much more likely to be Satoshi than Nick Szabo.

Unfortunately, if correct, then Satoshi is deceased Cry

Satoshi's involvement has been fading at a similar rate to Hal's motor functions... Hmm...
616  Other / Off-topic / Re: What goes with baked beans? on: November 15, 2014, 03:33:56 AM
With cheese, in-between tortillas, cooked in a frying pan [over a campfire in the back yard (the stove wasn't hooked up yet)].

Get spicy ass hot sauce.

Someone's going through the other stuff on my IP Grin
Nothing too interesting to see, person!
Then again you're wholly welcome to check it out!

Haha, that was me. Was curious to see what it was, if all the ranks were already accounted for. How long did it take for you to put this together?

Two and a half hours, leading directly to this thread!

Just now was actually the three hour anniversary.

Also, by other stuff on my IP, I meant my wikis/hdpsby/bank.
I use the bank to take over minecraft economies.
618  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ISIS to create own coin. How can we convince to use Bitcoin? on: November 15, 2014, 03:25:04 AM
As a coin collecter, I kinda want some ISIS coins...

...I guess that's weird. Nevermind.

Hero/Newbies and none in-between haha. I love this. This'll be very very helpful, and I hope it can get stickied...
Plenty in-between, just not as much. Wink
Thank you for your comment, now I have to keep working on this Cheesy
