641  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Type of people who buy bitcoin. on: March 26, 2021, 11:39:48 PM
Anyone can buy bitcoins. As the other members say, you can buy any fraction you can. It is better than having fiat money in any bank account is what I think. How much profit can you get with fiat in a year? You can also diversify your portfolio with some altcoins and you will see a good profit.
If you have been excited about buying bitcoin, I think it is a good choice. Now bitcoin has more support from large investors who have the idea of investing for the long term.
642  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government ban on crypto on: March 26, 2021, 11:22:19 PM
I just found an article in forbes published a few days ago that titled
India’s Plan To Ban Bitcoin! Could The U.S. Be Next?

Obviously, countries like India and Nigeria that have more recently banned bitcoin arguing that bitcoin is not money, it is not endorsed, it is a Ponzi scheme, it is an easy way to launder money among other things. They will not want bitcoin to dominate the economy in their countries because it will be difficult to divert public funds due to the need to implement a new, more transparent and secure technology.

Governments and central banks absolutely don't want independent individuals and entities creating credible alternatives to their own money.

I don't think the US will be the next to ban bitcoin. Because bitcoin lives with the United States from day one, there is a good ecosystem that is gradually consolidated.
643  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Meeting about Bitcoin and inviting people to it on: March 25, 2021, 11:37:50 PM
Congratulations! I admire your determination, you are right. We need to make bitcoin known based on our own experience, it could be a good idea to convince more people.
For my part I am teaching my sister and nephew to learn about cryptocurrencies. Because my sister's financial situation is not good right now, she will soon stop working because her bosses will close the offices where she works. I tell her not to worry that with cryptocurrencies she will overcome the problems of unemployment.

I particularly met bitcoin when she was unemployed and it has been the best thing that has happened to me in my entire life.
644  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin better than Fiat? on: March 25, 2021, 11:21:00 PM
Obviously bitcoin is better than fiat. My bank account is empty many times it was empty before I started bitcoin. Because my salary was low, I was barely enough to cover my basic needs. I was never able to save money even for an emergency.

Fortunately, while I was unemployed, I got to know bitcoin and the world of cryptocurrencies and since then I have been living on crypto. In my bank account I only manage money to pay my bills, my savings are in bitcoin and some altcoins.
645  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future of BTC on: March 25, 2021, 10:47:51 PM
I am optimistic! Bitcoin will have greater acceptance and therefore will be consolidated in the market. Let's also remember that if bitcoin remains as it has been up to now, gaining more interest throughout the world, the crypto market will continue to grow and there will be more developments.

IMO bitcoin is still the market driver.
All currencies to a large extent depend on the future of bitcoin for which we bet that it is the technology that we want that of crypto-based internet finance.

As I have mentioned, the market is constantly growing. I'm going to take this little example and follow any updates on it.

Bitcoiners can make transactions in bitcoin faster and cheaper with this alliance. Avalanche and Axelar only the future will tell us if it is what we have been wanting for a long time.

646  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nicole wants to give up her taxi in exchange for bitcoin on: March 25, 2021, 09:42:41 PM
The decision of this lady is very risky but the one who does not risk does not win. Maybe she was waiting like big investors do for the price of bitcoin to drop to invest. The biggest bitcoin advocates forecast the highest bitcoin price.

PlanB on Twitter, left his job to dedicate his time to bitcoin. In a recent survey, his followers responded mostly that the price of bitcoin will be around 100K before December 2021. If this prediction comes true, Nicole will have won in her investment.

Do you think #bitcoin will reach $500K, $288K (S2FX model) or $100K (S2Fv2 model) before December 2021 .. or will BTC stay below $100K?

647  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Major Risks in Crypto Business on: March 24, 2021, 11:20:03 PM
Investing in crypto is a risk but it is being the best alternative for any investor because Fiat no longer offers a return in sight, only it shows future inflation.

As for bitcoin, investors have entrusted their capital to digital gold as some say, thinking of a long-term investment.

There are several strategies to reach ROI with crypto, the fundamental thing is to take volatility into account and not panic.

If we learn from the big investors, we can realize that we all agree to invest in bitcoin for the long term. Take a look at this Tweet by Michael Saylor.

Shareholder value creation comes from holding an appreciating asset $ BTC over a long period of time. It is logical for every firm (both public & private) in the #Bitcoin industry to do the same thing Tesla is doing. Corporate treasuries should #hodl bitcoin.

648  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which plan seems better? on: March 22, 2021, 11:01:50 PM
Both plans are good and basic. It could be convenient for any investor. Everything will depend on the purchasing power of those who are interested in investing. Just as mk4 says think about purchasing a Ledger Nano S or a Trezor from their original websites.

I would add other altcoins because it is my preference for the purpose of Hodl and to pay my bills. In total I would stick with BTC, BNB, AVAX, hodl and ETH and Dash to spend.

I am proud because despite various situations we are upholding our ideals as a community. We have managed to get more enthusiasts to join our current of cryptocurrencies and as we are united and are more we will conquer more achievements.
649  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Patience isn't everything on: March 20, 2021, 11:43:33 PM
I also lived that bad experience. Those were the some failed ICOs, thank God now I don't want to know anything about them. But not everything is bad, there have been the launch of other projects with more development than a simple whitepaper and a roadmap.

Sometimes I wonder if there are now so many coins with a good performance, why not invest in them.
For a good investment you should examine the team, if it has support from investors, community, the product in progress. Now we have more analysis tools and ways to invest to earn excellent returns.
650  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Timing to Hodl tokens is very important. on: March 20, 2021, 11:24:59 PM
I hodl some tokens that I know the project is on. Otherwise it would not be worth it because nothing will make a token gain value if its ecosystem does not grow.
The hard work of the project developers will make its economic token gain value.

Let's take Binance and its business model as an example. The BNB token has rapidly climbed to the 3rd position in the crypto market. I remember buying some BNB for the first time when its price was $ 3 and its current price as I write this post is $ 265.51. Amazing! Great progress from Binance and BNB.
651  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Sushiswap is changing to Avalanche [AVAX] on: March 20, 2021, 10:57:51 PM
I like the fact that Sushiswap is moving to Avalanche because transactions on the ethereum network are honestly expensive.
In particular, I have had to limit myself to making transactions, I only do the necessary ones to pay my bills.

Well, in this way, users can enjoy the benefits of the Avalanche network: speed and low fees. I have bought some AVAX tokens and was surprised by the fast transaction and the low fees.
It is worth following the progress of the Avalanche platform.
652  Economy / Economics / Re: Tweets as Non-fungible tokens (NFT) - Dorsey's million dollar tweet on: March 20, 2021, 10:41:00 PM
I have noticed that the creators of the NFTs that have been sold for very high figures belong to artists, rich people, very influential people and etc. Not everyone can sell such an expensive NFT.

However the creation of NFTs is booming. If you have any interest in creating them, you can do your search on the internet and choose the most convenient one.
While learning about this new move in crypto I came across Avalanche. A tutorial for creating NFT on its network.
Explore, learn and create your first master piece and enjoy.

653  Economy / Economics / Re: Your pots of money and thinking long term / retirement / life after retirement on: March 20, 2021, 10:19:53 PM
Thanks OP for this post. I love how you wrote it. You know how to attract attention with your good writing. I traveled in time with your ideas. I work with the idea of saving for a long time. Although at present I am experiencing unexpected situations that if I had not saved money, it would be difficult for me to solve it.
I work hard for the present and the future of my thirteen and twelve year old nephews and for my old age.
I have learned that enjoying life is not in the future only in the day to day. Thank God that he fills us with wisdom to understand things.
I also thank Satoshi for creating bitcoin because he gave us the economic freedom that we are enjoying. He gave us the freedom to choose, to speak up, and to be heard.
654  Economy / Economics / Re: Biden planning first tax hike(major) since 1993 on: March 20, 2021, 09:46:10 PM
IMO it was necessary to include by the current presidency of Joe Biden an increase to the tax. They had not received a significant raise in 30 years. In addition to this, former President Trump reduced taxes in 2017.
The current Coronavirus crisis will make the process difficult but it will be necessary because the country is in debt.

Quote
The nation's deficit totaled a record $ 3.1 trillion for the 2020 fiscal year, and the national debt more than $ 28 trillion.
Any resolution in this regard will come into effect from 2022 according to the article.
655  Economy / Economics / Re: Your economic competitor is at the other side of the globe on: March 20, 2021, 08:58:28 PM
That's how it is! Our youth is the new generation and the future in every nation. It is true that we are experiencing critical moments. However, we must join forces so that our young people learn the basic fundamentals of technology, so that they do not miss the opportunity to know how the world is developing. Fortunately we have the internet that breaks borders to give us information and is a good alternative to reach learning.

I am bullish on bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. We have won economic freedom. I was reading the comments of a Spanish Binance tweet and I could see how the Spanish speaking community is interested in Binance Visa debit cards. Everyone wants the card in their countries, we have no limits, the chains are broken, and this will transcend at all levels.
656  Economy / Economics / Re: OpenAI: Artificial Intelligence will generate wealth to pay each adult $13,500yr on: March 20, 2021, 08:12:06 PM

The government needs to respond accordingly. “If public policy doesn’t adapt accordingly, most people will end up worse off than they are today,” Altman said.

However, if the government collects and redistributes the wealth that AI will generate, AI’s exponential productivity gains could “make the society of the future much less divisive and enable everyone to participate in its gains,” Altman says.

So true! Governments must act in accordance with the times in which we live. I believe that they should emphasize and be vigilant with technological advances and the government team is key so that government policies are the most effective in achieving the success of programs like the ones that OpenAI is working on.

If governments do not focus on the socio-economic problems of the people we will see the beginning of governments and the conclusion of them with little progress in the fair distribution of wealth.
657  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Is Protecting Human Rights Around the World on: March 19, 2021, 11:30:26 PM
The case of the feminist group in Nigeria is very eroic. They are such brave women that to defend their cause they bought with thousands of dollars in bitcoin: anti-gas masks and protest equipment.

Definitely bitcoin is protecting human rights around the world. Bitcoin offers us the solutions that governments deny us because we work our whole lives to enjoy the benefits that our rulers should offer us. If we realize it, all cases have in common the oppression of governments or the consequences of the devaluation of the currency.
658  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the Lightning Network challenge VISA someday? on: March 19, 2021, 10:22:21 PM
I am not familiar with the Lightning Network. So I decided to do a search and came across the LN and Blockstream alliance.

This integration is intended for developers to make use of LN easier and more intuitive. The project is called Lightning Charge, which consists of the implementation through an API to accept Lightning payments, it is a fast integration and easy to configure.
The developers have found that LN can make faster transactions compared to VISA.

So what bitcoin is missing for the long-awaited massive adoption is development because there are already networks willing to make microtransactions faster and cheaper.

659  Economy / Economics / Re: New Concept on: March 19, 2021, 07:23:43 AM
I like new coins or altcoins where the projects have a solid team, support from both investors and their community, as well as the continuous growth of their ecosystem. Because with these elements they provide security when investing.

It is true that the crypto market has so many coins that sometimes it is impossible to choose, do your own research, join the communities, choose the new projects that have successfully passed their launch, explore on sites such as Coingecko, CoinMarketCap, Binance and other platforms of reputable exchange.
660  Economy / Economics / Re: How much can you make by saving and compounding on: March 19, 2021, 06:46:47 AM
Any technique that is used for savings is good if we talk about the crypto market. I say this because I have been able to save with a small capital with the Staking method for a period of one year. The capital and profit have allowed me to solve family commitments so far this year.
Some have been unexpected such as the sudden trip of a nephew out of the country and another the illness of a relative that with the traditional method I would never comply, I should also mention that I live in a country where inflation affects our quality of life. That is why crypto is playing a great role in offering coin holders the opportunity to save and take advantage of ROI.
