if their resume, what conference they are going to play? is it still the all filipino?

Probably yes.

I'm browsing TV channels around 17:00 (local time) yesterday and saw a basketball scene. That was on IBC13 and they are airing their news program at that time. They are now on the sports section that's why I saw a basketball image and that was PBA. As per the report, PBA will continue to All-Filipino once it resumed.

As bisdak mention, I doubt PBA will allow imports for now even let's say there is no travel restriction. Governors and Commissioners can be done next year as a fresh start. And besides, one conference takes 2-3 months IIRC including post-conference activity so All-Filipino is the only conference they can play this year.

Thanks for the additional thoughts, well, I am convince now that they will do an all filipino cup due to travel restriction and we don't have import then.
We don't know when the travel ban will resume world wide so I guess if PBA will resume, we will be seeing more on All filipino players going to play and actually I am happy with that as we can witness which players are really good, it's their chance to showcase their talent more since in the old format, there's only one conference where all filipino plays, we just really love import a lot.

Wow, The Last Dance producer was once played in the PBA as on import.

https://www.spin.ph/basketball/pba/the-last-dance-producer-andy-thompson-cherishes-time-in-the-pba-a795-20200522?ref=feed_1_section

Quote
‘THE Last Dance’ executive producer Andy Thompson considers his stint as a PBA import as the most exciting time of his career as a basketball player.

Before becoming an executive of NBA Entertainment, the production organization of the league, Thompson suited up for Tanduay in the 1986 Open Conference, one of his stops as a professional player after playing college ball with Minnesota.

I was still young at that time but I'm glad to know that a producer of the popular documentary series was able to play in the PBA once in his life.

That would be happen since it's so dangerous to get an import due to the current state of the world but still this is good since PBA still fun to see even if they don't have power player on their sides,  the most important thing here is hopefully they can get back but for now maybe the league should do a proper realignment on what would their adjustment since there is a pandemic.

For sure it will be fun to watch them on live action again since many PBA fans are bored staying at home.

Absolutely, and if they are the only league that will resume or will resume first, for sure a lot of people might check PBA out and they will begin loving it.
Betting is also the reason why most of us wants to see the NBA resume again, I have a lot of savings now ready to gamble, lol.  Grin

Another article worth to ponder lol. I just think of this time that even though Danny I. signed that contract offered to him by Tanduay still Junemar would still surpassed him by at least a little mile in terms of bonus received.

Most probably Cheesy. Though there are other sport games replays aired in TV these times but live games still feels different. And I think the only advantage of replays is that they have lesser commercials in betwren lol. Besides, most of the Filipinos are not into volleyball, football, MMA etc. Basketball is more of "maka masa" sport.

Yeah right. But in my case, first things first. I need to pay my debts before anything else huhuhu.

Gamblers don't love replays because they can't bet on replays, personally, I don't feel entertain watching games not betting on the particular game.
When I learn gambling, I feel that it adds more entertainment while watching the game and at the same time, we challenge ourselves to analyze the game we are betting on.

Some gamblers even borrow money to gamble, but that is not advisable, it will make you addicted.
However, if we are responsible, we can still do the same  as long as we know how to manage our finances, debt is not bad at all as long as you know your responsibility, actually I have tried borrowing just to gamble in the past and I'm happy I was able to pay my debt though I lose in gambling.

It's not advisable though they still do it so that they will not left out on the fun vibes given by beating on their favorite teams, I'm sure many people tried this since it's very enjoyable to talk about it when the game is on. But when they lose for sure a major headache will occur since some of them will struggle to find money to pay their debt's, That's why this is not advisable.

That's gonna bring a lot of risk if that is our purpose why we borrow money, we just need to ensure that we will continue to be responsible while we are gambling because gambling is fun but if it is already killing your finances, it's gonna bring nightmare into your life.

But when they lose for sure a major headache will occur since some of them will struggle to find money to pay their debt's, That's why this is not advisable.

As they say, regret always comes in the end so we will really regret if we are not realistic enough when we are gambling, if we only think of wining and failed to consider the chance that we can also lose money.

Do you guys think Brownlee would be a good fit for Gilas Pilipinas?

Former Charlotte Bobcats coach Mike Dunlap has some positive words about JB.

US coach explains why 'born winner' Brownlee is perfect for Gilas

Justin Brownlee was really my idol as import in the PBA so I would love him to be a naturalized player since we don't have someone who can really produce consistent scoring in the team and with that, we need him, I know we already have Andray Blatche but I think he is not aggressive in defense inside so maybe we can find someone from our local to replace that position, we have our fil am players that would certainly like to contribute on that position.

We had an argument with some friends last night. One of them is saying that his method of picking the best team is basically to check on the stats. The better the stats then the best chance that this team will win and the better that he will win in his bets. What do you think? Is checking the team stats and comparing it with other teams that season will help you in your betting to who will win the conference? I have my favorites of course but if my favorite is not performing then should I choose the opponent?

If i have my way, i would pick a naturalized played just as the same or even better than Andray Blatche. He has the size and can play inside and outside and can help the locals on depending the bigs of other teams. Sadly we have to find a replacement for him since father time is already catching up on him.

Brownlee have the heart of a winner, we have seen that on the PBA but on the international stage i think he is just to small. We have a lot of 1's and 2's in the local so we better maximize our pick on a naturalize player and select those who can bang bodies with the likes of Jokic. Just my two cents.

I guess the Philippine Team are investing on the big man as that is what we lack at the moment.

Blatche was actually a good addition to the PBA, however, in FIBA world cup, we've seen how the Philippines are just a weak team compared to most of the teams, we only have a good chance in FIBA Asia Cup and winning the Championship has been my dream for our Gilas team but I wouldn't expect in the FIBA world, the size matters as we pure Filipino does not have that kind of size and agility compared to other countries.

Do you guys think Brownlee would be a good fit for Gilas Pilipinas?

Justin Brownlee is really an asset of Ginebra. I can't say with his ability. He can make score, assist, dunk and rebounds. He give his best shot in every game of Gins. I am not a fan of GSM but I think when he has an opponent that dominates him in size, JB scores become low. I remembered when Gin was lose in TNT katropa where Jones was the import. He scored 6 points for the entire game. He is a scorer, but I prefer some like Chris McCullough. He is really dominated in size, score and an all around player. Plus, he is humble.

He is good but I think Justin Brownlee is better in overall and more reliable, yes he has the size but he is not playing the center position and he does not have the body to bang with the big Centers, brownlee is good in his position and people like him because he also showed love in the Philippine Basketball.

I have not followed him anymore but when PBA was still active, I've seen him played with the Alab Pilipinas where he is the main contributor in offense and Ginebra has really trusted him since they don't change an import every time the conference allows an import to play.

Both of them are a great prospect for the upcoming FIBA as well as the other youngsters that will be part of it if they will really be chosen but I think Chris McCullough was the one has a high chance to be chosen among naturalized prospects.

I'd better get Jordan Clarkson over him and replace his position the next time with Kai Sotto. I know Kai was still young but I guess if he bulk up a little until 2023 which is a long way to go I think he will be a good asset of the Gilas team.

Andray Blatche is old and we see him slowing down so might he will be a burden when he's on the rooster so the same as you I'd rather pick Clarkson since he's a better shooter and young and provably he can produce more among any other selection, But I'm still doubting with Kai sotto but who knows maybe he's experience outside the country will show up and he will help the Gilas to get into the finals.

Andray Blatche is not a Filipino by blood, he is just naturalized so he is playing with our team, at 33 years old now, I think that is not old yet.
We can have Clarkson to play along with Blatche if I am not mistaken since Clarkson is half Filipino and he past the requirement, and we have seen him played before.

But I'm still doubting with Kai sotto but who knows maybe he's experience outside the country will show up and he will help the Gilas to get into the finals.

This guy is still young, he has some journey in the NBA G-League now, if he can train well and develop himself, he will be a great addition to the team.
