261  Bitcoin / Project Development / Introducing Crabby - The Free Automated Cryptocurreny Trading Application on: November 18, 2017, 02:59:28 AM
Hey Guys,

I am part of a team of engineers who have been developing a new bot automated cryptocurrency trading platform called Crabby. We would really like to work with the community here to get feedback on the features we've implemented and get to know what you would like to see in future releases. The application is under active development, so we can provide quick turn around for new features and strategies. We are not charging for the application, so you have complete freedom to experiment without making the difficult decision of whether or not it would be worth your hard earned coins. The first version we are releasing here will support the Poloniex exchange, however, if you don't have an account with them, you can still experiment with strategies using the backtest feature. We hope you are able to find a strategy that works for you and enjoy the benefits of automated trading. Any feedback, comments, or requests would be greatly appreciated to help us make this the best automated trading platform available.

You can download the application or get more information at: www.crabby.io.

Happy Trading!
Crabby Team
262  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: I m looking for an exchange Platform script on: November 17, 2017, 01:27:23 AM
HI Community

Now i have full licence to run an exchange in my country.

can someone tell me where can i find a software exchange, similar to poloniex or bitrex. or any whitelabel like alphapoint .

I feel as though you massively underestimate the amount of time and effort that goes into developing an exchange. Poloniex and Bitrex did not simply download a script and run it to put their websites up. They spent thousands of hours with many people to develop what you see today. If you want a website like Poloniex, you will need to spend several million dollars on developers to get it running. Unless of course you have a team that is willing to work for free. Then once you've finished development, you need to build trust and a user base. It takes daily updates, customer service, and understanding each and every coin that you add to your exchange. I'm not trying to discourage you, but you have a long road ahead. I would start by trying to get some developers who are willing to work with you for an equity stake in the platform.
263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for Advisors and Team Members to join our project on: November 14, 2017, 10:50:14 PM
This sounds like an interesting concept, but I have a few questions:

Do you have connections in the commercial airlines space? It sounds like this is something you would need to be partnered with an airline to pull off.
Have you done a technical analysis of the space to see if this is even possible? I assume you would need to interface with each airlines system in order to provide your solution. Do you need to book the flight through the blockchain as well? If not, how do you validate users as well as their need for a voucher?
The language in your white paper suggests you already have some sort of technology. Do you have a prototype or will the people coming on be building from scratch?
You plan on giving advisers approximately 5% of a potentially $50 mil ICO with a vesting period of only 6 months. Why?

Finally, why do you need a CTO, Project Manager, and Lead Developer? In a startup, they are all the same person. You only have 82 days until your ICO and you don't have a product. This is exactly the problem with the ICO space. A startup looking for a CTO this late is very unstable, you need time to get to know them and work with them. At this point you need 6-7 developers, not 2-3.
264  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Vastbit.ltd -profitable arbitrage financial traffic, no risk, stable profit on: November 14, 2017, 05:24:07 AM
This has all of the hallmarks of a pyramid scheme. Although you claim it, there is no such thing as a "risk free" investment. I would stay away.
265  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Blockchain developer needed for exciting ICO on: November 14, 2017, 04:07:28 AM
How many technical members are currently on your team? It sounds like you want the blockchain developer to be responsible for all development, rather than just blockchain development. How much funding have you received so far? Where is your office? Do you have reference material and a website that could provide more information? Do you expect this person to essentially be a contractor or a member of the founding team? Do they get equity in the company?

If you want a good blockchain developer, you need to provide more information. Typically, they don't have time to be PMing people to find out if it's a good fit.
266  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Mercury - Fully trustless cryptocurrency exchange - Looking for testers! on: November 14, 2017, 03:00:06 AM
Yes, I would strongly suggest against trying this exchange before every currency on the exchange has the appropriate security features. There is a 100% chance you will lose your coins if you use this exchange in the current state.
267  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: what do you do when your idea is taken ? on: November 14, 2017, 02:52:34 AM
You actually started first but someone else does it first. do you still launch as competition or quit give up and go back in the closet ?
Yes you have to lunch it because it is your first idea whom you first started,so dont be nervous about everything you want to do even though their is someone else does it first. Just make an innovation that beyond on the first doer. Make something better than it.because ideas came also from ideas just make something new in the eyes of society.
It’s not bad if you launch it, but how can you prove that your idea is originally than the copy write? It’s hard to make it; also I’m sure that the replica of your idea was improved it much better than your design scheme stolen.
I suggest it’s better if you create new idea even how hard to do it, moreover make sure that this idea was not discussed to everyone to assure that your plan is wrap and cannot steal by the intruders.

I strongly disagree with the people who are suggesting you find a completely new idea and don't tell anyone. One thing you should realize when starting a project is that someone else has already done something similar. There is no way around it. What you are trying to do has probably already been done. After you get past that mental barrier, you need to figure out what you are going to do that is going to make you so much better than everything that has already been done. Do you think Tesla was the first electric car company or Apple was the first computer company? No of course not. But when they came into the industry, they had a vision. A vision for how their products were going to change your life. Then, they executed on that vision. You need to do the same thing. Don't worry about what other people are doing. Don't even mind if you tell other people. Let other people know. Do you know why you can let other people know? Because you have the vision and passion for your idea, and they don't. It's really that simple. Stop thinking about whether or not you should do it and just do it. Then, you should come back and let us know how it goes!
268  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Do you need a day trader?? bank roll a winner! make great money everyday! on: November 13, 2017, 04:09:11 AM
Guys, the best thing to do is to just ignore this tread and move on. You can clearly see from his spreadsheet and post that he barely put any effort into his story because the numbers don't even make sense. For example, the row that he marked a loss day, he said he took a negative management fee. How can you take a negative management fee? He said that he lost 750 bitcoins, so that also means you can't trust him, even if it was true. The other fake accounts are just him responding to his own thread.

Nothing to see here.
269  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Website on: November 13, 2017, 03:54:46 AM
If you want to truly learn about web development, I would encourage you to not use a CMS. I think it's best to understand the fundamentals and build something from scratch. This means beginning with typing out HTML and CSS, then adding Javascript, and eventually adding a backend server. This will give you a detailed understanding of how everything works and remove the need for a CMS. Also, "hard coded" means something very different than what you think. It would be a good idea to brush up on your vocabulary because it's very important to know what you need when you are searching on Google.
270  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Trying to set up a crypto company on: November 13, 2017, 03:42:34 AM
I think it is important to consult an actual lawyer when setting up a company. Asking for help online is nice, but it is not a substitute for getting a lawyer involved. Saying that, I don't know what the laws are like in your country, but in many countries, creating a company will actually protect you. Again, I don't know your laws, but in some countries you would be vulnerable right now because if someone isn't happy with you, they will be suing you directly, instead of a company. It can also allow you to have tax benefits, credibility, and a legal foundation for what you are doing.

I think creating a company is a great idea. Depending on what you would like to have on the website, you could probably create the website yourself using a CMS such as Drupal or Joomla. This could also help you expand your customer base and market your services. Best of luck!
271  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Questions on my future bitcoin casino project! on: November 12, 2017, 09:25:14 PM
I would have to agree with several of the other people here who are suggesting you contact a lawyer. It is never a good idea to be getting legal advice from strangers on the internet because you don't know their credentials.

Also, I think you are missing a massive aspect of this entire endeavor. The development. I don't know what "script" you downloaded, but you can't simply download a script and run an entire online casino. You will need thousands of man hours to develop and maintain the software. If someone is going to give you their bitcoins, they will want this to be done by professionals. Do you have a team of professionals who will be doing the development for you?
272  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: what do you do when your idea is taken ? on: November 12, 2017, 09:13:57 PM
I'm sorry this happened to you, but it happens to everyone. There is no project in this world that doesn't compete with something else. I would say there is no reason for you to stop developing your idea. One of the most important things to learn is how to follow through with development. I've had issues with following through in the past and realized that the best way to solve this problem is to complete a project and put it out there. Keep developing your idea, make changes to differentiate yourself, improve on the original idea, and add features that make it better than the competition. Competition is good. Competition will make you better.
273  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BUY high sell low ? on: November 11, 2017, 11:17:12 PM
When I first started trading, one of the strategies that I used to remove myself from the stress and pressures of the quickly changing market was to actually walk away. I would do my research, decide which coins I was interested in investing in, make the trades, and then not come back for 24 hours. This helped me see all of the ups and downs that happened during that time and made me realize that everything was going to be okay. Sure, there were times where I lost money because I didn't come back for 24 hours, but I learned to separate my feelings from trading. Now I've become very comfortable with watching my coins loose value without freaking out and letting them correct before trading. Anyway, my advice is to stay calm and be patient with the quickly changing market. However you are able to achieve this mental state, it's important for learning how to become a successful trader.
274  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what coins will you buy? on: November 11, 2017, 11:02:18 PM
My personal opinion is that if you don't want to spend a lot of time doing market research and finding which coins you determine to have the best outlook, you should diversify your investment. The reason being is that you are looking at these options as a black box. Ok, so how would I diversify them? Also, do you want risky investments or safe investments? If you are looking for risky investments, you should loop back to my first sentence and actually do your market research to figure out which ones you think have the best outlook. These would likely be smaller altcoins with innovative new technology, active development, a strong team, a large addressable market, and potential for widespread adoption. If you want safe investments, this is an easy call. What we can draw from decades of evaluating stock prices is that generally the most likely stocks (or coins in this case) to increase in price that currently exist will be the ones that continue to increase in value and adoption in the future. Notice that I didn't say "increase the most in price", simply that they will increase. I would take a very simple approach. I would first decide how many different coins I would like to invest in. This could be 5, 10, 15, etc. Second, I would go to a website that evaluates the market cap of each cryptocurrency. Lastly, I would pick the top X as the ones which I will invest in. So, if you said in step one that you would like to diversify to 5 different coins, those current investments would be: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, Ripple, and Litecoin.

Best of luck!
275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin in 2020, win or fail? on: November 11, 2017, 10:42:45 PM
My question would be, why Dogecoin? I think there are many other currencies that are priced similarly low, however have a much better outlook than Dogecoin. If I was the one investing, I would look at the technologies behind each of the coins. Do they have something novel? Do they have something worth investing in? Similar to stocks, I think it's best to invest in something you truly believe in. Next, I would look at their supply. Dogecoin essentially has an unlimited supply. Anything with an unlimited supply will lose value over time. Last, I would look at the demand. In my personal opinion, Dogecoin does not have significant demand. All of these things and many more will play into the price of Dogecoin in the future. These are just my opinions, but whatever it is that you decide, I wish you the best of luck!
I chose doge versus the other cheap crypto because I think it stil haw its potential to boom. Thats in my iwn opinion. Currently the supply is overflowing thats why I would like to invewt just maybe few hundred dollars. We will never know what lies ahead for doge in the future, but Im willing to take the risk. Remember when it was hitting more than hundred sats few months ago? It is like a diamond in the rough and what makes it even more special is that it is not yet that popular. It might take some time for it to reach its true value at least I will be there when time comes. I will revive this post on 2020 to update you guys.

The great thing about trading / investing is that you never truly know what will happen, so I can't say your view is wrong. You can see the general sentiment is that Doge will not continue to grow in value. I believe it's a risky bet, but I hope it pays off for you. Let us know when the time comes!
