261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ehtereum FOG - where is it? on: January 01, 2018, 11:51:56 PM
My idea on this would be that if you can't find information on it through your own searching, it probably isn't something which is going to net you much money by being involved in. As we know forks are taking over the cryptomarket, and there are a ton of shitty ones that should be avoiding.

Here is some of the information I was able to find about ETH FOG - https://hype.codes/ethereum-fog-eth-fork-implemented

Hi many thanks. You are very right, unfortunately hype is very important nowdays. I will take a look at your information. Even if it is not valuable it doesnīt hurt to have it LOL
262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: which coin will be next on coinbase? on: December 25, 2017, 09:52:54 PM
hi everyone
what do you think which coin will list next in coinbase

I would say that electroneum stands a chance. I would like to see Astro listed, but the volume now is not enough. I think it will be a great hitter in the incoming year, but now is under the radar.
263  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How to install a Bitcoin ATM in my city? on: December 25, 2017, 09:48:46 PM
Hello everybody! I am thinking to start my own business and I though that maybe an installation of the first Bitcoin ATM in my city would be good idea which can bring me good income. But I have no idea from where to start, so I am here to hear all ideas, experience and advices.
Thank you!

You are trying to get into a quite complex business. I donīt think there are any franchises for Bitcoin ATMs where I live, but your best chance would be trying to find one in your place.
264  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Turning crypto into fiat or is that even nessesary anymore! on: December 25, 2017, 09:45:05 PM
At this time I think it is still necessary to turn SOME of your Bitcoins to fiat currency especially when doing Bitcoin is your only means of earning. However, if doing Bitcoin is just one of your many sources of income, then I do not think you would even want to cash out your Bitcoins. We still live in an era wherein Bitcoin is still not the money used to pay our bills. We are still stuck in the traditional fiat era. Hence, when we need something for sustenance or for business, you would want to convert your Bitcoins to fiat currency to use them.
I personally like to pay bills with fiat. I still feel sorry for the 10K bitcoin pizza guy so, I don't want to be the next one.  Grin I feel fiat a convenient way than to pay through cryptocurrency and wait for the confirmation of the transaction. I see cryptocurrency as a tool of investment to grow the volume of fiat. Also there are some major problems with bitcoin that keeps it out from the list of preferred currencies for micro payments. If I was financially strong enough to pay without selling bitcoin I would never sell my bitcoin but currently the situation don't allow me to do so.

The value of crypto in the future is linked to adoption and value. One of the best ways of creating value for the average user is allowing direct payments with these.
265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Etherdelta has bn hacked on: December 25, 2017, 09:41:09 PM
I'm also heard that Etherdelta has been hacked , My Friend lost all the funds, actually I never user Etherdelta because I don't true this platform

The problem is that there are no alternatives depending of which tokens do you want to trade. ED has the worst interface and is extremely easy to make mistakes, but it is so needed that people have to use it.
266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Etherdelta has bn hacked on: December 25, 2017, 09:39:22 PM
New CEO new attack. You just saying that Etherdelta security features very weak. For those wanting to rescue their funds from ED you can do it. Myetherwallet has a contract interaction capability that can help you out.
Yeah, basically if you kept your private keys you can recover your funds without accessing ED. Now the question is, which decentalised exchange can we trust now? because it is definetly something needed.
267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: GameCredits Speculation on: December 25, 2017, 09:37:42 PM
GameCredits is on its way to the 40 K.  So far making good progress after confirming its bull run on the daily. If it gets closer to 40K line, a pullback is expected. You better research and analysis about it and decide your choice.

A pullback hahaha its just starting. Next time stop trying to make a small profit and hold for a year. Great things are coming in 2018 and game can hit 100$

Oh well, just throwing a number is not much information. Why do you think it can grow in value that much? Sound quite unlikely to have such a growth in a competitive market.
268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: GameCredits Speculation on: December 25, 2017, 09:36:06 PM
Thank you for sharing your thought. I may review about this coin. Might get some gamecredit coins if I found this having potential. As you havr said that it will have a partnership with a large company then it may get a ticket to the moon.
There are a number of competing alternatives in this field. Flipgame tokensale is now ongoing, WAX with links to Op-skins market has done quite well (although with a number of mistakes both technical and managerial), ... Having a ongoing product is not a bad start. I would recommend some exposure, but donīt bet the house.
269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Ehtereum FOG - where is it? on: December 25, 2017, 08:55:27 PM
I have not been able to find any information about ethereum FOG. I hodl a decent ammount of ether on my account, but I do not know how to claim this new fork. I just heard about it on a telegram channel.
270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Hold your keys vs money on exchanges on: December 25, 2017, 08:53:26 PM
The veteran people on crypto tend to say that you should keep your coins in your wallet, never on exchages. However if there is a strong downwards movement on a coin and you want to sell to buy latter at a cheaper price it may take quite a bit of time and fees to move it. What is the right strategy?
271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: How many of those "hacks" are really "hacks" on: December 25, 2017, 08:51:20 PM
I noticed an interesting trend: as soon as the capitalization of the crypto currency is growing at a rapid pace - immediately there are reports of "cracking exchanges by hackers." May be. it's just human greed and the owners of the exchanges only pretend that they were hacked?

Perhaps is a question of incentive. If the owner can make more profit by alleging a hack and taking everything is just a question o the weight of a possible criminal prosecution which is unlikely and difficult. Perhaps some exchanges are better than this, but the risk is there.
272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is HODLINg still valid to make profits on: December 25, 2017, 08:42:43 PM
Yes because I think bitcoin wont stop increasing so soon

Why do you think it wonīt. Bitcoin has had little competence for the moment, but that may not last forever. Nowdays there are coins that in terms of mere technology are vastly superior in number of transactions, fees, ability to do PoS, etc...
273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is HODLINg still valid to make profits on: December 25, 2017, 08:40:32 PM
This recipee could be a thing of the past. Nowdays it may be better to look for opportunities as lots of talent is going into the market. Do you still think of becoming a millionaire by hodling?
Yes, but not with bitcoin.
Some altcoins have bright future and they are very cheap at the moment, buying them and holding can make you millionaire one day.
Which coins are right to buy is something we are all looking to find  Wink

That sound kind of what I think. I am wondering where lies the long term value on coins. They can disrrupt a variety of industries, but I am not sure about others. What is the value, letīs say, on the house rental market or even in insurance, since things tend to be grey and smart contracts are black and white.
274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is HODLINg still valid to make profits on: December 25, 2017, 08:37:17 PM
Yes, HODLing is still a way yo make profits but you can more via trading.
By the way how much profit make you satisfy? %5/25/50/100? (It all depends according to your ansewer to this question)

For me the risk and profit must be in pair. In cryptos the variability is huge, so I want "lambo". To get a 5 or 10% I could easily invest in the shares market buying a few blue chips.
275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Selling Ethconnect on: December 25, 2017, 08:34:44 PM
i sell 30k ech for 0.50$ each. pm me

For the ones that are not into this Ethconnect stuff, could you provide a link to the project page? Are these tokens or a new "coin". If they are tokens why not usign a decentralised exchange?
276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: How many of those "hacks" are really "hacks" on: December 24, 2017, 11:18:56 PM
Not long ago Easyhash, now Etherdelta,... all atacks that are quite difficult to make without insider information. Do you think that these are really hacks?

Will for me ,we  cannot consider this all things happen a real hack unless we  know the  main sources  of allt this happening or in other words we cannot  prove the innocence is guilty unless there is verdict.mostly in my own perception, this all things happen is an act  of hacking the system to get all information in site just like happen in parity wallet, that some of investor lost there asset, and make all the transaction in exchange pending.

The parity hack is a different thing really. It was open source (I believe) and anyone could have seen the problem. Apparently, the person that blocked the funds was not hacker at all.
277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: How many of those "hacks" are really "hacks" on: December 22, 2017, 11:24:45 PM
There will be times when these hacks will be inside jobs, I was surprised that Nicehash was attacked and lost coins, just shows that any one of these exchanges that hold coins are vunerable.

In recent days nice hash sever hack the major blow in the crypto currency. Other than most of the tie you will find the hack attack on the trading and exchange site most of time.
Most of the time ignore the hackers issue then you will feel panic all the time. If you have fund in the online wallet as well it can be attack by the hackers. So don't concentrate on it.

I cannot trade with my wallet, I need to move my coins that is what money is for IMO. Keeping it in wallets if fine if you just hold.
278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: How many of those "hacks" are really "hacks" on: December 22, 2017, 12:52:26 PM
On a centralised exchange anything can happen and you have put your trust in them that your coins will be safe (and if they'll disappear, well...). This ED's problem is weird and I'm glad for that I didn't use my main account for trading as my private key could be vulnerable.

There is something to be said here about the gain/loss balance. I could think that the owners of any exhange have to balance the future profit against the benefit of "hacking" themselves and get all the deposits.
279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: How many of those "hacks" are really "hacks" on: December 21, 2017, 09:37:55 PM

Some of them true some of them not real. The etherdelta hacks can be real because their service is open source. telling a lie story to the community should be diffucult for them. There are many developers can prove it if it real or not. You should think about tether and bitfinex hack explanation Smiley

They can surely justify the smart contract, but what about the DNS part?
280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: How many of those "hacks" are really "hacks" on: December 21, 2017, 08:17:47 PM
I agree with what you say, maybe insiders can get involved or work together, they can also sell user data to bad guys. Fegardless of our estimates, so many people have lost their assets in the happen of nicehash and etherdelta.

And maybe the worst thing is that is all goes into certain addresses, on plain sight, and there is nothing to be done.
