141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Bitcoin and Ethereum will finally break appart on: April 06, 2018, 12:36:09 PM
I think that Ether and many tokens have a strong coupling with Bitcoin in terms of price and I think that it should not be this way if we look at value objectively. Do you see signs in the market of these coins being finally diverging in value?
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange or Wallet? on: March 17, 2018, 01:38:13 PM
I have a question.

What is better? To keep your coins on some Exchange site or to open wallets for each coin?

I would like to hear some advice.  What are pros & cons of each option?

Thanks

It is important to know when to do what. If you are hodling long term, a wallet is safe and will provide the best solution, but if you are a trader, wallets are just not the right tool for your business.
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Google to BAN crypto advertising-includes Youtube on: March 17, 2018, 01:37:23 PM
www.bitcoinfuji.com says

Just read about it here:

https://www.nytimes.com/2018/03/14/technology/google-bitcoin-advertising.html

This means all those crypto youtube channels will have to shutdown: unbelievable

I donīt think so, there are already many comments in you tube and they are still in there, if youtube bans these the crypto people will find another service and it will be to their worst.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Alts with ETH or BTC on: March 16, 2018, 08:41:54 PM
It is amazingly confusing for me to understand whether to buy ETH or BTC to trade for ALTS. I plan on holding a good % of BTC and ETH in my portfolio, but when it comes to these fluctuating BTC and ETH prices, I'm never sure whether to buy one first to trade for ALT coins.

Any suggestions?

It is more a practival matter than an economic one, you just have to see which pairs and markets are more interesting and the decision will be made by itself considering fees and markets.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market corrections are good on: March 11, 2018, 08:46:36 PM
The current market corrections are making a better investor, well weeding out the panicky investors that do not do their research. The hype balloon has been pretty deflated lately, making it easier to find legitimate projects to come to the surface. To top it off i don't have to read "when moon! when lambo!" every time i open discord or telegram. I think those are huge benefits.

Actually you can make much more money when the market crashes than when everything is going up, or perhaps yuo can make it in any situation as long as you read the market well.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is HODLINg still valid to make profits on: March 10, 2018, 05:07:52 PM
Well i guess hodling in this kind of situation its not recommended i mean you wont get big profits if you are still hodling this time. Check the market almost all the coins are bleeding againwhich is not good.

I guess that holding is now the way to not make any profit any more, traders and market players have made their move and all the holdlers have been caught in the frenzy.
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think this year will be Red? on: March 10, 2018, 05:06:00 PM
This early year is full of red but it will not stay forever. This year is up and down, but don't think that this year is all about red only. There are government regulations that are starting to make some noise which leads the whole market to be in red.

The govermnet is not going to help the values going down like this months. Regulations or not everything is falling, probably to the level in which it should have been in the first place.
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New ICOs and how to choose a proper one? on: March 09, 2018, 01:17:09 PM
What are your criteria to choose a good ICO? I am looking a little bit around and found have some interesting ICO in mind but I am still not sure if to buy some coins or not. Actually there is for example this ICO running now: www.culturalplaces.com . Its about a new cryptocurrency called Cultural Coin and it should be used as an platform for culture and events. Ticketing should also be paid with the same cryptocurrency. This is for example a project which sounds interesting for me. But obviously there are others also.
Would you choose this one or what are your most important ICO criteria?
Thanks Wink

They key is to embrace technologies that are empowered by the blockchain instead of just running an ICO and then say that your project is linked to cryptocurrencies.
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Instant Payment Split And Smart Contracts. on: March 09, 2018, 01:16:23 PM
On Enkidu, multiple collaborators can "team-up" to work on a project by signing a companyless digital contract. The payment gateway is central to the project, splitting each incoming payment to its recipients depending on that collaboration's cap table.

Presale starts on March 5th. Join our Whitelist!

I think is a smart use of smart contracts. Looks interesting, but why donīt you launch a proper campaign with bounty, telegram and everything? Marketing is important nowadays really.
150  Economy / Economics / Re: Private Coins from banks and governments on: March 08, 2018, 12:22:29 PM
Nothing can be done to stop it as blockchains are open source in nature. They wouldn't be "luring" their own customers but it the characteristics of that blockchain are not decentralized and open, then you don't have a blockchain built in the spirit of crypto. What you have is a centralized entity changing the way it issues money, nothing new there.

I think that many people that are looking for a quick buck are not much into the spirit of crypto, they have heard that they can make money but they donīt really understand the concepts behind it.
151  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it possible to tamper with the last block? on: March 04, 2018, 04:28:02 PM
Well, as it's known, every block has a hash pointer pointing to the hash of a previous block. Suppose we have block 1, block 2 and block 3. Block 3 has a hash pointer to the hash of the block 2, the block 2 has a hash pointer to the hash of the block 1. That means that in order to change any data in the block 1 or 2, it requires to change block 3.

No, once a block is accepted you cannot change it by changing the ones that go after it.
152  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Earn crypto currencies. on: March 04, 2018, 04:23:20 PM
Is there any way to earn crypto currencies by offering services?

I am a student and i am new to crypto currencies and i want to bag more and more good cryptos so tell me is there a way to earn different coins by offering them services?

It will be very helpful

Of course, you just have to offer any service and accept payments in cryptos. I donīt really get your point, it is just a business like any other, only cash changes.
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Near future crypto currency on: March 03, 2018, 03:37:07 PM
Hello, does not it seem to you that the Crypto currency is gradually dying out, there is no volatility, for more than a month, the price just stands, the maximum range of variation is up to 10-15%, does this mean that we will no longer see big price  from altcoin and major crypto currency like bitcoin?

You are taking a very short sight at the market, cryptos are preparing for the next bull run and anyone can understand that the signs are there. Just see the historic graphs.
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: FuzeX looks like a futuristic card on: March 03, 2018, 03:32:52 PM
Fuzex has decided to lock the tokens for a while longer and I think this is a right decision, given the market. Eventually it will get listed and the value will grow a lot.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is HODLINg still valid to make profits on: March 03, 2018, 03:31:10 PM
This recipee could be a thing of the past. Nowdays it may be better to look for opportunities as lots of talent is going into the market. Do you still think of becoming a millionaire by hodling?

Is it validated to make profit over a long period of time, beucase when the last bitcoin is mined its price will be really rocketed, that's what people is really waiting for.

I think that much earlier than that bitcoin will be surpassed by one or other altcoin and that day its value will be very low. Bitcoin is the first, not the best so, future calling.
156  Economy / Economics / Re: The lack of financial education on: March 03, 2018, 03:25:03 PM
Its still depends on a person's perspective in life. People learn from.their experiece. Maybe financial education is also important because we are using all financial aspect in our life but as people also have their talent in doing financial analytics through their wit. They are smart enough on how they will use their money because afterall they have to do it in the right way all else they will left nothing. Its people decision whether they will want to be gain more knowledge through study or through the usual way.

You cannot depend on life teaching everything to people, that is the concept of education, to be able to learn from others mistakes instead of just making your own always.
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: crypto currency helps? on: March 02, 2018, 01:14:16 PM
How does crypto currency help you? In your life, in you needs..

It helps me with my learning and my understanding of the world yes, and helps me a bit with some bounties and airdrops, but it does not have a huge influence I would say.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I need a story from you on: March 02, 2018, 01:13:11 PM
According to your experience, do you ever get the profit/token bounty income in accordance with the benefits you expect ?, If ever, try to tell me briefly from the start you receive the token until you reach his income.

It normally takes a long time. First the campaign goes on for a month or more, then you have to wait between one week and one month for the token and then see if it becomes listed on a exchange, then going to the exchange...
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your favorite way to cash out? on: March 01, 2018, 01:29:30 PM
I sell my bitcoin on localbitcoin for bank withdraw or I search for people on my city for face to face deals.

I think localbitcoins are good for privacy, but they give you a price that is far too low for the market. Use only in case of extreme need I would advice.
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Still believe in ICO ? on: March 01, 2018, 01:28:52 PM
If you take a look of past ICOs more of tham promising inthair roadmaps a good year for 2018!
Lets  see what thay will do... If past ICOs done thair promisies than we will belive in future ones... Why not)
