41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A man in UAE took six figure loan and lost 85% of his crypto value on: August 15, 2018, 04:58:23 PM
only 85%? now the people who in December I think came lost X10 rates, and not some only 85%,so I can say we have to wait, for example those who went in the crypt believe that it will grow and will go up pricem very strongly upwards,so that zhdems believe, and we hope that it will come this soon)

There is plenty of room to grow, the market is very narrow and that´s of no help for whoever want´s it stable. But there are better options for safety and estability than crypto.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoin should I trade currently ? on: August 15, 2018, 04:57:05 PM
I want to spend a part of my money to trade, but I'm considering about which one should I buy and sell this time, my friends advice LCS, BNB, XPR, ONT.
How do you think guys ? And how about collect a little bit ETH at this time ?

Posibbly the exchanges coins are the best ones, it could be the best bet to exchange since these frequently have up and downs due to news of listing and the general market condition.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto Market all RED today. I am so scared on: August 11, 2018, 09:17:25 PM
You should be able to trade or hold crypto without emotion - if you are scared it means you have invested too much. I would suggest re-evaluating your positions and decreasing your holdings to level that you can afford.

Well said, yet it is difficult to separate money and feelings, since we are all here to make a certain profit and some of our goals in life depend on it in certain manner.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How come eth was left behind in the pump? on: August 11, 2018, 09:15:50 PM
Might have happened but it's no indication that ETH is a weak coin or something like that, the coins react differently to the market situations, ETH might not have pumped but watch it keenly, don't be surprised to see it's value hike soon

Eth is going badly this month, there is no expectation of rational growth since the ICO panorama is "deflated" to say it in a soft way. Bitcoin is also on decline anyway.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Instagram marketing on: August 11, 2018, 09:14:33 PM
Hey guys! Wanted to ask if someone of you know any good examples of instagram account management by some crypto project with atleast 5k subs (ICO`s are welcome)  Huh

Your question is quite general and I haven't still understood about it. You want to join in Instagram bounty campagin of ICO project with 5k subs or something else, don't you??

No no, you got me wrong. I just want to take a look to a well-managed crypto project instagram account. And not crypto-related (like news or something) but crypto company itself.

You can look into the tokens and ICOs sections, you will find many campaigns there and you can judge for yourself which ones are well managed as per your own needs.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: to many poor people? on: August 11, 2018, 09:08:28 PM
Hello,

I recently returned to the world of crypto and noticed something wrong right away, I couldn't put my finger on it until now.

Poor people are ruining crypto. so many people just in the game to get rich and buy lambos, posting broken english or poorly translated post like " what coin x1000 this week, I need ferrari countach"

Some people come to crypto with high expectations, but that is fine, the market is cruel with them and their funds end up in better hands. My hands precisely.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your worst Altcoin investment mistake? on: August 11, 2018, 09:03:52 PM
Being fooled into “guaranteed” daily returns is my biggest mistake and i regret it up till this moment. Its hard to resist such an offer when you're under a lot of financial pressure.

There is nothing guaranteed in business, just like that. It is a very basic mistake, but mine was also quite basic: bought in an ico with no hype. They reduced the soft cap to avoid returning the funds.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Promising ICO, what's your metrics? on: August 11, 2018, 09:02:34 PM
ICO investors often look for these> all-star team, low market cap, less than .1 in ICO price , working prototype, low hard cap.
Makes perfect sense and looks very ideal. BUT fails to realize that changes around crypto happens so fast , these factors are no longer exhaustive.

Governments are trying to get a piece of it for some form of control and govt can take down/ban ICO that don't satisfy the regulatory framework being implemented. Thus it's wiser to check if the crypto startup is working with the govt agency at least for 'legality' so your share of tokens are secure. 4

Take a look at the efforts done by this blockchain-based bank ( NO public sale , sorry ) https://technode.com/2018/08/06/taiwans-crypto-scene-is-booming-but-still-needs-a-clearer-regulatory-framework-to-thrive
The CEO, due to prior work with the government, has deep connections with the officials and has connections to ALL banks in Taiwan.

It is an endless debate, regulations how which ones and what would the effects be. I think that you should change the title of your thread is extremely misleading anyway.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Multi-Billion Dollar ICO Market in 2018 Captured in One Graph on: August 08, 2018, 04:50:42 PM
The Multi-Billion Dollar ICO Market in 2018 Captured in One Graph.

The ICO market is continuing to sizzle this summer with new coins entering the market almost everyday. With so much activity, it can be difficult to keep things in perspective. What constitutes a large initial coin offering, and what’s small peanuts? Our new visualization makes things very simple.

1. Telegram: $1.7B
2. Dragon: $320M
3. Huobi: $300M
4. Bankera: $150.9M

Very cool graph, many of the names in there are very familiar, some of them like envion for the wrong reasons. I would like to see how these look in a couple of years.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Investment Fees and Lack of Transparency Will Drive Investors to the Blockch on: August 08, 2018, 04:49:00 PM

Democratizing global access to investment grade commercial real estate using the blockchain. Visit RealtyReturns.io and join our Telegram group https://t.me/realtyreturnsglobal[/size]

Looks just one more of the many coins that claim to have real state backing the value and the fact that you make an article with a newbie user does not help the cause.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most Alt teams have abondened their projects! on: August 08, 2018, 04:41:56 PM
It is a Fact!
The bitches have the/ your money and have no intent to develop their projects: A registered office with a few tweets that are are BS.
Cardano is about the only project that is genuine!
Good luck if you believe your project is genuine!

Many teams joined the arena on the good times with good community support at the time, but now there is very little interest in micro coins due to the many exit scams. You can´t blame them.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH so popular on: August 08, 2018, 04:40:29 PM
Eth has become popular, do you know the reasons?
I think people are too stress with BTC decreasing, then they sell BTC out to buy more ETh.

It think that many people only think of bitcoin because they have seen it grow very much in the last years, so ethereum is more popular for newcomers with less experience.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coinbase allow users to trade Ethereum classic ETC from 7 august!! on: August 04, 2018, 11:27:08 PM
hello guys
it's very good time to buy ETC because coinbase just announced that they will list ETC for trading on 7th of August. ETC will become consider in top 5 currencies with largest market cap in UK and USA.

I have not made my made about ETC. Starting with the DAO hack, I think it does not provide sufficient value for the market, the development is weak and adoption is too little too late. Is there anyone launching a token on ETC??
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto: Education is a key to success on: August 04, 2018, 11:20:58 PM
Academic qualifications are important and so is financial education. They're both important and schools are forgetting one of them. - Robert Kiyosaki.

I believe 100% of agree that "Education as a key to success", including in cryptoworld. In this very beginning era of crypto, kinda upset when someone ask what blockchain is. We already know that crypto ROI is crazy that you can change your life. On the era of blockchain, people need to be informed well so that they can make a good decision.

This is true in every part of the world. Many people will get a mortgage to buy a house, that will be the largest investment of their lives, yet they know little about the risks and the nasty consequences possible.
55  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Hardware wallet vs Software wallet on: August 04, 2018, 11:18:55 PM
Surfing on the bitcointalk forum, I sometimes see some threads discussing about hacking of wallets and the discussion is geared towards the best wallets to secure individuals from hackers. Hardware wallets are normally mentioned. I decided to find out about hardware wallets and my searches made me know that, wallets which are normally hacked are of software base. I found out that some viruses which attack computers are able to steal private keys from the software wallets that we normally use. The issue of virus attacking a computer makes the use of hardware wallet very advantageous over software wallet since the hardware wallet are immune against viruses, hence viruses cannot steal from such wallets. My question is what are some of the hardware wallets and how can one get a hardware wallet?

This is a bit of a noob question. Firstly, there is no perfect wallet and particularly there is no perfect wallet for everyone. Personally I use a soft wallet, because I don´t have that many coins and I can keep my computer safe.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does crypto offer riches overnight? on: August 04, 2018, 11:17:49 PM
Crypto is one of the avenues of getting rich yet it should be understood that it does not happen overnight. Getting rich in crypto requires a lot of dedication, hard work and patience. People do not see the essence of crypto investment because they want to get rich quickly, hence, hurriedly invest in projects that follow the pump and dump trend.
Remember, one key to success is patience.

Oh, it is volatile, but it is not at all like getting rich in a few days. Even if you catch the best ICO and really hodl until the perfect moment, the earnings are very dependent on your initial investment, so rich is relative.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Hunters Dump Always? on: August 04, 2018, 11:16:09 PM
Do all bounty hunters dump Cryptos after they get paid?

...

I believe tokens or coins getting dumped by bounty hunters depends a lot on the project itself.

It is not true at all. Many people blame the bounty hunters when a coin drops after the ICO, but the fact is that if it is going down is because there is no real demand, many time due to the ridiculous hard caps that are never met.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's with ethereum? on: August 02, 2018, 11:50:59 AM
Ethereum is currently popular, a lot of people are transacting using Ethereum rather than Bitcoin, but why is the Ethereum price never high?

Ethereum is not like bitcoin at all. Ethereum is used in a circular economy and the people use it to invest in ICOs and not to keep it on hold for ever like the bitcoiners.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading on: August 02, 2018, 11:49:42 AM
I want to try trading some coins with $ 358.60 in capital by earning a profit per day, which coins should I choose and use?
I need your advice.

Unless you are incredibly good, you are not going to make a worthy sum with that starting capital. In any case, I suggest that you try to learn as much as possible before starting.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin does not survive... on: August 02, 2018, 11:48:24 AM
I think it is hard to imagine the crypto world without bitcoin and despite what people said that bitcoin may not survive, I think it is here to stay. But IF bitcoin continues to fall and it does not survive, which of the alternative cryptocurrencies do you think can take its place? Ripple? Ethereum? EOS? Will it be bigger than bitcoin?

Everything has a beginning and an end, but Bitcoin is very far from the end. There is no reason to worry about it at all and the rest of the coins may even surpass bitcoin but it will still be there.
