Why is MTgox commanding transaction fees for a service that they do not do?
It does not take 60 days to do a bank wire.

Honestly, it takes me a few minutes to buy things. I either go like, "ERMAGAWD I'm going to lose BTC if I don't copy and paste the address twenty times." And then I have to read over the first number, and then the last letter. Over and over again.
So paranoid. Especially since I normally do large withdrawals + deposits. It's so easy to lose $200, and cry painfully. Of course, to loose $90.
I will never get Bitcoins.

I would be happy, because then I would have 6K+. I would probably start mining it (Mining rigs might cost over 10K though, so I would be screwed.)
you only have 3-5 BTC and you gave that amount (in the other thread) away on reddit? Probably 1-3 BTC. Yes, I have been known to do idiotic things. Luckily, for me I only gave away .22 BTC (Gave some other BTC to other people.) Back on topic: Won't be surprised if the U.S shuts it down for being higher than the USD. D: Just now thought about that. I might do it tomorrow, and give people BTC if they take funny pictures like that. cool stuff.. i'm encouraged by the bitcoin community and their willingness to spare an mBTC or two. if this thing really takes off, i think it will be a huge paradigm shift, since the new "wealthy" wouldn't as stingy and greedy as the present day wealthy are.
I would think of a clever thing to say against that, but it's true. I've seen Bitcoin charities give more than most charities. When Bitcoin starts to get recognized nationally, I hope things change for the better. |

Devcoin and Litecoin is what I'm going for right now.
I saved up about $1,000 worth of Devcoin. Converted a little to BTC (About $290+) It was a short time, and didn't take that long. Have some LTC saved up, too. (Not sure how much. I want it to be a surprise when I check my wallets.)
If Devcoin and Litecoin doesn't make it, then I'm screwed.

What happens when Litecoin becomes "too expensive?" Will the new comers all switch to Feathercoin?
I do agree though, that it's past time to switch to mBTC and that perception of BTC being "too expensive" might actually be a reason why alt-coins are doing well.
Why would anyone go to feathercoin? I'm guessing because it's going to be less expensive, and give you more coins. Anyway, Daily Anarchist is right. |

Just cleaned out my computer. For some reason, it won't read the Devcoin.exe I downloaded from Devtome. ._. Gawd. Try to solve one problem, and then the whole problem comes crashing on you. And who ever writes about buying something there with devcoins would also receive a bounty? Or are the bounties for that over?

Speaking of adding sites, I was thinking about making a store for DVC and BTC. (Probably LTC, too.)
Most likely a pantry like store. (Sweets, candy, pastries, packaged food, etc.)

Sounds like a great idea! Will you carry sea salt caramels?  I don't know. As soon as I get my Devcoin, I'm just going to buy a lot of candy and snakes. (Chips, cookies, etc.) If I don't get sea salt caramels then, I'd get them when the site launches (Which would take some time to get the license.). Business license? Is devcoin income taxable? Good point. But the question is, will the state think Devcoin is taxable? |
