1761  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BEWARE, MTGOX stole $724.52, 60 days and no bank wire yet! on: January 19, 2014, 08:24:04 PM
Why is MTgox commanding transaction fees for a service that they do not do?
It does not take 60 days to do a bank wire.
How did they get behind in the first place?
Greed!  They just wanted to KEEP the BTC, DUH!
I have no sympathy anymore.

Woah, I've never used MtGox in my life. But at least fit a rant in one post on them, please?

How exactly is this a scam, please post proof that they're 'scamming people' and they're 'greedy'. Please explain to me more: Did MTGox command you to use their services?
1762  Economy / Digital goods / Re: $500 Amazon Giftcard on: January 16, 2014, 11:27:08 PM
How about $200?

Is that an offer or request? I'm not currently taking requests just selling what's here.

I will offer you $200 for the card..we can use btcrow.com or another escrow if you want. I will buy more than one if you have them.

No thank you.

How about $201?
1763  Economy / Goods / Re: ***Z Plastic Visa Debit Cards with high limits and Bitcoin Reloadable*** on: January 16, 2014, 11:01:33 PM
here is tracking number for sirjockey he got his package
fedex link https://www.fedex.com/fedextrack/index.html?tracknumbers=803940547034&cntry_code=us

Nice work.
You just released your buyer's name and where he lives from that link you exposed to the public.

Heard of a PM?

Not defending anybody, but where is his address? I don't think FedEx is stupid enough to allow addresses on tracking numbers.
1764  Economy / Goods / Re: ***Z Plastic Visa Debit Cards with high limits*** on: January 08, 2014, 05:17:58 PM
hi, I also ordered a card and paid 95$ upfront for 50% of the card cost (35$) + 50$ DHL shipping + 10$ first load on card.

I will report back here when I receive the card.

Ok order is confirmed, will process your invoice and email it to you, if you want an invoice provide your email address in the PM if not then we will just process your order

Who supplies you with the cards? I can't find ANYTHING about 'Z Cards'.
1765  Economy / Services / Re: [SERVICE] MINING RIG CLEANING on: January 08, 2014, 04:53:54 PM
Wow. I would criticize the people laughing at the OP, but he needs help. If he thinks people will waste their monthly income to ship to him.. He needs help.

if anybody is crazy enough to send their miner for you, even for 24 hours, I will eat my balls

Do they come in Strawberry or Raspberry?
1766  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Little Big stash of Casascius coins.... on: January 08, 2014, 04:10:28 AM
been a few hours...

Wait about 14-48hrs. In your other thread you said it was about 1.5 hours, or 90 minutes, correct?
1767  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Will a R7770 HD 1GB Be good at mining these coins? on: January 08, 2014, 03:33:35 AM
Thinking about getting into mining. Would a R7770 HD 1GB be able to mine any of these coins?

Litecoin
Digitalcoin
Dogecoin
Anoncoin
Worldcoin.

Was thinking about buying a few of those, then making some rigs out of them. Are they any good? I haven't really mined before.
1768  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Name something you've actually BOUGHT with bitcoin on: December 01, 2013, 05:40:42 AM
Amazon Gift Cards (So much money spent on them.)
Papa John's Gift Cards
Bioshock Infinite (Premium)
GTA 5
COD: Ghosts (A regret.)
Dead Rising 2 - Zombrex Edition
Mystery Box (A mystery package.)
CoD Season Pass
A Watch
Christmas Boots (Christmas Presents)
A Mushroom Keychain (From Mario)

Soon to Buy:

Mining Rig for Alt-Coins
----

Honestly, it takes me a few minutes to buy things. I either go like, "ERMAGAWD I'm going to lose BTC if I don't copy and paste the address twenty times." And then I have to read over the first number, and then the last letter. Over and over again.

So paranoid. Especially since I normally do large withdrawals + deposits. It's so easy to lose $200, and cry painfully. Of course, to loose $90.

I will never get Bitcoins.
1769  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would you do "when" bitcoin hits 10,000......... on: November 30, 2013, 05:35:06 AM
I'm guessing probably 1,200-2,000 by the end of the year. It would take time for it to get to 10K.

I would be happy, because then I would have 6K+. I would probably start mining it (Mining rigs might cost over 10K though, so I would be screwed.)

you only have 3-5 BTC and you gave that amount (in the other thread) away on reddit?

Probably 1-3 BTC. Yes, I have been known to do idiotic things. Luckily, for me I only gave away .22BTC (Gave some other BTC to other people.)

Back on topic:

Won't be surprised if the U.S shuts it down for being higher than the USD.

"Because Bitcoin is a bigger profit, YOU BETTER HAND IT OVER TO US, RITE NOW. Or else you're going to jail." Oh dat freedom. Well, at least it's better than Argentina.

1771  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Free Devcoin Giveaway for Everyone! Over 100 coins left to give away! on: November 30, 2013, 04:51:05 AM
If it helps for you to get donations for the giveaway, will be adding it to the list through Aegis.

(As long as somebody confirms they've gotten some coins. We gotta be safe.)
1772  Other / Off-topic / Re: Because I'm a Evil Douche Bag on: November 30, 2013, 04:39:50 AM
and why not here? Would have done the same :-P

D: Just now thought about that. I might do it tomorrow, and give people BTC if they take funny pictures like that.

cool stuff.. i'm encouraged by the bitcoin community and their willingness to spare an mBTC or two. if this thing really takes off, i think it will be a huge paradigm shift, since the new "wealthy" wouldn't as stingy and greedy as the present day wealthy are.

I would think of a clever thing to say against that, but it's true. I've seen Bitcoin charities give more than most charities. When Bitcoin starts to get recognized nationally, I hope things change for the better.
1773  Other / Off-topic / Because I'm a Evil Douche Bag on: November 30, 2013, 04:32:49 AM
Went on /r/bitcoinbeg today. I was really bored, and I saw one of Joeyjmrs old posts. It made me think about when he scammed somebody, and they asked him to make a video with a shoe on his head.

I decided to give anybody who put a shoe on their head, and something to cover their eyes .06BTC. They could get one more .01 if they had something in their mouth.

I offered it to two people and they said I could post their pics:

I gave out a total of .14 today. Happy end of Black Friday, guys.
1774  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What coins to invest in. on: November 28, 2013, 03:42:52 PM
Devcoin and Litecoin is what I'm going for right now.

I saved up about $1,000 worth of Devcoin. Converted a little to BTC (About $290+) It was a short time, and didn't take that long. Have some LTC saved up, too. (Not sure how much. I want it to be a surprise when I check my wallets.)

If Devcoin and Litecoin doesn't make it, then I'm screwed.
1775  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin volume will soon surpass Bitcoin beacuse people think its 'cheaper' on: November 28, 2013, 03:33:34 PM
What happens when Litecoin becomes "too expensive?" Will the new comers all switch to Feathercoin?

I do agree though, that it's past time to switch to mBTC and that perception of BTC being "too expensive" might actually be a reason why alt-coins are doing well.
Why would anyone go to feathercoin?

I'm guessing because it's going to be less expensive, and give you more coins. Anyway, Daily Anarchist is right.
1776  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Yac is dead? on: November 28, 2013, 03:24:18 PM
Any one know what's about YAC? dead?

Invest in YAC is it good?

Go here, next time: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=134179.0 . It's a Purgatory coin. I'm not sure how many people use it, but it's not that close to death.

I would recommend investing in another coin. (Such as LTC, FTC, XPM, DTC, etc.) A coin that's 'new' on the 'market'.
1777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The first alternative currency to hit $1 million? Bitbars on: November 28, 2013, 04:31:00 AM
I do believe that Litecoin is higher than BitBar. Wouldn't that mean that LTC would have a greater chance of success? (I'm not a LTC fanboy.)

Just cleaned out my computer. For some reason, it won't read the Devcoin.exe I downloaded from Devtome. ._. Gawd. Try to solve one problem, and then the whole problem comes crashing on you.

Quote
And who ever writes about buying something there with devcoins would also receive a bounty? Or are the bounties for that over?

They're still available.

Bought my first one ounce silver dollar with DVC from igotspots.com

http://imgur.com/ienGgvj

Woohoo! And I bought it on today's bump! And...there's a DVC bonus for purchasing the Silver Eagle?

You can't beat it.
[/quote]

Wow, thanks. I never knew you could buy silver with Devcoin.
1780  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [DVC]DevCoin - Official Thread - Moderated on: August 31, 2013, 09:08:10 PM
Speaking of adding sites, I was thinking about making a store for DVC and BTC. (Probably LTC, too.)

Most likely a pantry like store. (Sweets, candy, pastries, packaged food, etc.)

Would you guys shop there?

Sounds like a great idea!
Will you carry sea salt caramels?  Smiley
I don't know.

As soon as I get my Devcoin, I'm just going to buy a lot of candy and snakes. (Chips, cookies, etc.)

If I don't get sea salt caramels then, I'd get them when the site launches (Which would take some time to get the license.).

Business license?  Is devcoin income taxable?

Good point. But the question is, will the state think Devcoin is taxable?
