1101  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is BITCOIN more expensive than other cryptocurrency? on: May 24, 2014, 07:51:34 PM
The demand is higher. Over 60,000 merchants use Bitcoin. And it's not too scarce, but there's also not too much.
1102  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: USB BLOCK ERUPTER for museums (lol), you pay shipping on: May 24, 2014, 07:50:23 PM
People could get them to less. Not to mention, It would take months to regain your investment, or even a year.
1103  Economy / Services / Re: WE PAY FOR SIGNATURE EVEN MORE. UP TO 0.0016 BTCs PER POST. WEEKLY PAYOUTS. on: May 24, 2014, 07:01:39 PM
Ritz is closing down.
After the 1st, Up/Down should expect a ton of people coming from there.

Yeah.. the the best of news :-/  @OP, I'd agree with everyone who suggests to implenment a bit more restrictions - just so all the users don't spend too much of your monies Tongue  What do you plan to do about this?  There will be a massive increase of users in this campaign - from PD and from Ritz.

Have to agree with this. Since I'm most likely going to have to join this campaign, what about the PD and Up/Down paydays? Somebody from Up/Down could go to PD after they get their payment. And then hop back over to Up/Down.
Ritz banned members who jumped between campaigns if I'm correct.
On the other hand they're paying you for a certain amount of posts, why shouldn't you be able to change  campaigns after doing your job and getting paid?

I think it would be okay if somebody did it one time, but constantly abusing the thing the Signature Campaign owners have given us a opportunity to do is a bit harsh on their part.
1104  Other / Off-topic / Re: What Are Some of The Craziest Religions Out There? on: May 24, 2014, 06:33:15 PM
First time heard of googlism , Is googlism  main idea  to believe in technology right?

Nope. They believe that Google created everything, it's a divine womanly spirit, you have to pray to Google, you can only use Google as a search engine or browser, you can't build another search engine, you can't use Google as a verb for another search engine, you can't misspell or use a hotlink, and you can't manipulate search results.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flying_Spaghetti_Monster

I think this could be abit of a crazy religion, but since i dont believe in any religion i think they are all crazy!

Pastafarrians (Dammit I can never spell that right) is a mock-religion of Christianity. Behind it are actually non-religious people.

1106  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Hotel Points Anybody? on: May 24, 2014, 05:17:06 PM
If somebody has a shi*tton of hotel points let me know.

I'm quite certain we can make a deal.

Looking for a room tonight.

PM me and we can chat via skype or phone to get things worked out.

Thanks.

Looking to spend ~$100 for a room.

On Gyft they have Hyatt gift cards. Depending on where you are, you can get a pretty damn good room for just $75 there. And this is the Hyatt House series. Pretty good, and it looks like a apartment.

So he already lost his over $57K?

Jeezus man, you have a terrible gambling habit. Just sayin'.
1108  Other / Meta / Re: Secret trick to spamming Bitcointalk without getting banned ;) on: May 24, 2014, 04:52:21 PM
Speaking of tricks This guy knows some kind of trick to not getting banned https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=179616.400 21 pages of posting conspiracies and links to youtube.

Tried to ask him some questions but he never responds. Is he a bot?
-snip-

what is the reason for this pic posting by you?

Wouldn't recommend quoting him. He could change his image link to something else, and you know the Government is cracking down on anybody that mentions you-know-what.

I say one of the craziest religions is Googlism.

Feliz Día de pizza!

Es lamentable cómo algunos países no pueden celebrarlo al igual que otros pueden. Esperanza Bitcoin es aceptado más en España y América del Sur. Esperemos que más personas adoptan allí.
1111  Economy / Services / Re: ★★★ HIGHEST SIGNATURE PAYMENT ON THE BOARD - UPDATED - RitzGrandCasino.com ★★★ on: May 24, 2014, 04:29:22 PM
Important News:

As from May 31st 2014 we will cease with this signature campaign.
The reasons are as follows:
1) It simply isn't viable to continue with these high prices. The ROI is just not there.
2) It doesn't help, when the price of the btc is on the rise.

The Ritz Grand Casino does very well without the need of a signature program. In fact, the return visitors we get are incredible.  So we are here to stay.

Everyone will still be paid up until May 31st. You must remain with the program until payout day, (1st june) to be paid. We will still check on the posts

We would like to thank every one who has participated in our signature campaign.

Good luck to you all and thanks for your support.

Ritz Grand Casino

^^
I hope this does not become a major excuse of cutting down most of the payments at the last moment. Else, it'll be difficult for u to run your gambling thread on this forum... and yes u could run like GAWminers/ZOOMHash by paying limited to limited members. I wish this sudden shutdown does not have adverse effect on your site's revenue.

Cheers Smiley

p.s. I posted the above in Ritz's thread, i.e. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=499007.0 and it was quickly removed by Ritz as his thread is a moderated one. It shows that he is going to do this in reality and dont want people to be aware of this. Ritz campaigners may be sure that their this month's labour is not gonna get honored, i.e. a no. of posts will be cut down for lame reasons to reduce post count. Read it before he come online again to remove this or quote this post as many times as possible, though a copy is kept here => https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=623515.0

You're posting it on every signature campaign + Service discussion. It's a little hard not to read it. Plus, you've probably never been in a signature campaign. If Ritz cut down a ton of people's pay, it's quite obvious people would know what's going on.

This should go in the Service Discussion category. And no, he's not cutting down most of the payments. He's stated he's paying out. Or you could post this on the thread.. And how will it be difficult for him to run a gambling thread?
1113  Economy / Services / Re: ★★★ HIGHEST SIGNATURE PAYMENT ON THE BOARD - UPDATED - RitzGrandCasino.com ★★★ on: May 24, 2014, 03:04:50 PM
Well I can't believe that Ritz sig campaign is gonna be gone.

It's hard to believe that this campaign is far from ROI.
But If you say so ..
Well you will know how huch casino profits will decrease so you will clearly see that was it roi or not.

I wish you all best and I hope your campaign will come back one day.

Extremely sad to see Ritz gone. I hope it gets revived, as well.

Kay, well it's not photoshopped or altered, xD

There's not a way to say that it isn't.

And people have been denied loans for gambling almost daily. What makes yours so special?
1116  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM REPORT - FunnyBTC.com Scam Gambling Site Thieves on: May 24, 2014, 02:29:19 PM
Were there any reviews on the forums about them? If not, then that says nobody used it. Most likely a scam then.
1117  Economy / Lending / Re: Would Like a .01 loan :D on: May 24, 2014, 02:25:47 PM
how do you intend to repay?

If I win I'll give you half of what I win, if lose then you probably won't get your bitcoin back, that's what I said :p
If you really needed compensation BAD for 5 dollars I have an amazon account with 6 dollars in it, I could buy you something and ship it to you :p

Yeah, that's not a loan, that's more like a gift.

At least you're honest though.  You get karma points Smiley

It's a donation fund to his gambling account.
1118  Economy / Lending / Re: Would Like a .01 loan :D on: May 24, 2014, 02:23:52 PM

A picture can be photoshopped. Plus, Chrome has plugins that allow people to change pages, like Mozzila has.

That's the worst thing to say right now. The Amazon account could be used as
collateral. Doubt anybody will give you a loan now.
1119  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 1,000,000 bits = 1 bitcoin. Future-proofing Bitcoin for common usage? VOTE on: May 24, 2014, 02:20:19 PM
Why should be change it? Many people like uBTC just find.

Well, you have just proven why µBTC is such a bad idea. It isn't u it's µ.

I don't get how a simple mistake ensures it's a bad idea? I think we should be more worried about what this 'bit' could be called when Bitcoin is more widely known as XBT to some outsiders.
1120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 1,000,000 bits = 1 bitcoin. Future-proofing Bitcoin for common usage? VOTE on: May 24, 2014, 02:13:40 PM
Why should be change it? Many people like uBTC just find. I'll probably never see myself using a 'bit' because Bitcoin is XBT. Barely anybody I've seen on the forum uses 'bits'.
