BEWARE PAPER BACKED BY BITCOIN!!! Bitcoin is money as gold is money. Currency always starts with money backing, then the paper currency politically loses the backing, for the kids or to stop terrorism or some other BS, and then we're fucked all over again with tyranny. Tyranny goes hand in hand with corrupting, insidious banks and their fractional reserve fraud! I feel it's important to note here the distinction between a bank-note, which is an "I owe you" from some central organization - and a paper wallet, which is actual money on the blockchain. You deserve a Citizen Kane clapping Gif. Too bad I can't find one.

How is it 'fairer'?
You do know with fiat there is only one singular way to obtain it? (although once you allow trading between btc and fiat you can't say either's fairer distribution then the other) So, you want a currency that only has one way to obtain it? Jeez. That's great. it's value as a currency is measured via OTHER currencies.
you mean its price not it's value. No, it's value.

Wrong turn 5 , shitty movie .
I didn't even think of that! The Halloween one, and the one that they go to the Mental Institution are the worst of the series. And I really, really, hate the series. The mental institution one made no sense at all. They were in a accident snow accident, and all of a sudden, bam! Random mental institution. And they know it's one, but still go in it.

maybe not USD but fiat is better then Bitcoin.
Lets be honest most Bitcoin holders are in it for the fiat, everyone talks about BTC's 'value' based on its price in USD and not its value as a currency. now its hit over $1000 (in the past), people sat up and listened not whne u could buy a coffee with it.
Bitcoin doesn't allow micro-transactions, Fiat no problem. Fees with Bitcoin even if I am sending to another of my own wallets, Not with Fiat.
People will say but electronically the banks charge, well I don't what bank your using but I've had fee free banking for many years.
Fiats even more fairer distribution.
Bitcoin (due to its non inflationary design) maybe a better store of wealth longterm then fiat, which is it only real benefit, but thats more as a commodity then a currency (and depending on ur buyin point its risky).
How is it 'fairer'? Also, it's value as a currency is measured via OTHER currencies. How do you think Fiat is measured? Do you want to just 'create' a value for Bitcoin?

Pretty site but I wonder why we should send through email if we can just send directly to the persons wallet? And that is much safer i think. Or there is something else that i don't fully understand?
In order for crypto currencies to be adopted by the main-stream consumer, it has to be simplified and easy to use. By sending these gifts to your friends and family who are still not into the crytpo-currency scene, they have more of an incentive to support it, and help it grow to new heights. It's also a very convenient gift if you ever forget to buy one as well... Isn't that a lot more effort? Sending somebody a gift that they claim, and then they have to send it to their wallet? The site has a built-in web wallet that is very secure, there's no need to send it to a wallet, as you could send it to an exchange, or even keep your coins in the wallet forever. There are instructions if someone wants to get involved with local wallets, but there is no real necessity to. Why should people trust your site over things like Blockchain, then?

Is this idea actually going to happen?
I don't think so. This was in 2013 when Fin wanted to make a Utopia. Since then, he's left the forums.

A few days ago this was posted on Coindesk. I wanted to see what were you guys' opinions on this article. I thought it was kinda funny. http://www.coindesk.com/experts-cnbc-usd-btc-future-digital-currency/Let's have a quote pulled from this: “The $100 bill is the world’s bitcoin. It’s anonymous. It’s easy to use. It’s actually easier than bitcoin, because you don’t need a computer or even power.”

Err, you should probably look at reviews, and look at sites like Notebook Check to help you. There they also do benchmark tests on laptops, durability, and things like that. And you should also see reviews on the company.

i think weed is good subsitute for you reason . you can use this in daily life you can also enjoy your society
lol... from being addicted to a legal substance, to addition for an illegal one. Weed is still illegal in 99% of the regions. If you are caught, and if you are really unlucky, you might have to spend time in prison. Yeah, you should really check local laws before smoking any… In some places you'll get away with a small fine, and in some areas you'll end up in jail for many months/years. I mean, check out the laws in Tennessee! http://www.nashvillecriminallawyer.com/post-detail.php?id=955Ough... better not to get caught at Tennessee. Tennessee Simple Possession Laws: (usually less than 1/2 ounce or 14 grams) is a class A misdemeanor which requires jail sentence of 11 months and 29 days and a fine to not exceed $2,500.00. First convictions require a mandatory minimum fine of $250.00, second convictions are $500.00, and subsequent convictions are $1,000.00. Tennessee Felony Possession of Marijuana Laws Class E Felony :(1/2 oz to 10 lbs) requires a jail sentence of 1 to 6 years and a fine to not exceed $5,000.00. Class D Felony :(10 to 70 lbs) requires a jail sentence of 2 to 12 years and a fine to not exceed $50,000.00. Class B Felony :(70 to 300 lbs): Requires a jail sentence of 8 to 30 years and a fine to not exceed $200,000. Class A Felony:(300 lbs or more): Requires a jail sentence of 15 to 60 years and a fine to not exceed $500,000. Tennessee doesn't really enforce it. I live in Memphis, and all you have to do is walk or go to the bad side of town. Some officers don't even patrol down there, and some of them sell it themselves. Many people are weed friendly down here. For instance, I know a old friend of mine got caught with some. All they did was confiscate it, and gave him a warning.

I honestly don't get why some people even bother with fucking over people on the Internet without planning. It's so easy to Google a few things, or get help from others. And bam! Your anonymity is crippled.

I never thought much of the "habitable zone" theory. We have no idea what life really likes. We only have one example to look at, and for all we know it is a weird example. Perhaps it is more common for life to exist on stars than planets? or maybe the ultra-cold areas of deep space is where most life exists?
Me neither. And what if there's another 'humanity' that looks different from us? Not your alienish one. That would be rather interesting, yet scary. What humanity is capable of now, is scary. What another humanity might be able to do, possibly a more intelligent one, is scary.

Picture this. You get approached on the street and offered a straight deal: walk away with Bitcoin or walk away with gold of the same value. If given a choice to walk away with either Bitcoin or gold of equivalent value, what would you pick? Asians and Westerners were asked in Taipei in Chinese and English if they would take Bitcoin or gold home with them that day, and the answer might surprise you... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m6GiC8dqN9AWe just shot a video outside the Taipei 101 skyscraper area here and gave people a chance to answer if they would walk away with either Bitcoin or gold- and why. If you were approached and were offered the same deal, would you walk away with Bitcoin or gold in your pocket, and why??? I would say 50% of each. Both of them are investments that guarantee wealth. I would simply spend the gold, but hold onto my Bitcoins.

Oh, yes. The Ship of Theseus? I think it would be different, of course.
Well, it isn't exactly clear to everyone that it would be different, though I myself agree, up to a point. But at what point do you consider it would be a different ship? After the first patch of the ship, or when it was composed of completely different materials? Or at some other point? Also, if a second ship was built using only the materials of the first ship, would this be the original ship? I don't think anything can be the same of anything, even if it's made of the same materials. It's just not the same anything, because something has to be different about it. From it's owner to anything else. If it was built out of the same materials of the first ship, then it can't necessarily be the same ship. Based on it's width, design, height, weight, worth, and things like that. I don't think it's solely possible for the same anything to be the same material of anything.

What comes into your house every day and twice on a Sunday?
Is it the sun? It doesn't exactly walk into your house, but if you have windows... plus, on a Sunday it would come in as usual and it would be a Sun + day. congrats Alright my turn then: what is it that enters the water and doesn't get wet? I'm sure there are many answers for that one, so don't take it too far... In terms of paradoxes, have you guys heard of the "Ship of Theseus" ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ship_of_Theseus)? Oh, yes. The Ship of Theseus? I think it would be different, of course. A murderer is condemned to death. He has to choose between three rooms. The first is full of raging fires, the second is full of assassins with loaded guns, and the third is full of lions that haven't eaten in 3 years. Which room is safest for him?
Obviously the dead lions. Haha, correct. And this one? You may always chase me but you are always about 3 miles away.
What am I?Well, there's many things that you can never get close to. But I'm guessing this deals with the sky or something astronomical?
