A Kawasaki KX 450 2014, or a KTM Enduro. Or possibly a Yamaha 450.
1442  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How safe is it to invest in just-dice on: May 01, 2014, 09:16:06 PM
On the site, the "invested" amount is currectly at 36,085.
So the total bankroll would be that 36,085 + original funds from owners?

The bankroll is the amount stated on the website, the owners take a 10% cut on profits
Does this mean the owners have invested 0 BTC into the site's bankroll?

No. I'm pretty sure Doog started the site with 100BTC, though, I'm not sure if he still has it in the site.
1443  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: C-Cex Has Frozen Your BTC! Not to be Trusted on: May 01, 2014, 08:22:34 PM
Should I be surprised that I've never heard/seen this exchange before? Is this a relatively new exchange, or is it a old?
1444  Other / Off-topic / Re: When will the USA go to WAR? on: May 01, 2014, 08:19:15 PM
Probably soon. That's how countries make the most money, of course, by going to war with others.

it's their choice to naively donate to people they shouldn't be though. it kind of bugs me too, but they are just doing what they want to.. you can't stop that.
In this situation it's not her choice. She is being manipulated.

it's her choice to be manipulated. no one's holding a gun to her head.

If you were slipping into Dementia, would you want somebody to trust you?

Dementia:

It's pretty easy to manipulate a good percentage of the people who have it.

we don't know that she has dementia. that's apples to oranges.

Quote
My mother, who is incredibly religious and is slowly slipping into dementia...

'Slipping'. And I said nothing about having it, I said 'slipping'.

1447  Other / Off-topic / Re: Which Historical figure do you most admire and why? on: May 01, 2014, 07:46:09 PM
I think everybody from history - good or bad - is worth saying 'Hey, they're important'. Because they changed the world in different ways. Yes, I know what Adolf Hitler, Stalin, and what Columbus did was terrible. But they still changed the world. Like now we know not to allow genocide, and how discovering new things could kill people.
1448  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your favorite car????? on: May 01, 2014, 02:25:55 AM

I myself imagine getting a Kawasaki 450, or a KTM 450 EX.

Those are not cars Smiley but I hope your dreams will come true!

I thought nobody would pick that up!

But you're right, both of those are off-road dirt bikes.
1449  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your favorite car????? on: May 01, 2014, 02:13:28 AM
Stohr WF1... Grin

It looks more like a Go Kart. But Hey, go for your dreams. I myself imagine getting a Kawasaki 450, or a KTM 450 EX.
1450  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Operation Shitcoin Cleanout and Clean Up Has Begun- Join the Revolution on: May 01, 2014, 01:20:11 AM
Do people actually still come on this thread? I'm kind of hurt that people do.
1451  Other / Off-topic / Re: Ban fur farms in China on: May 01, 2014, 01:14:19 AM
There are too many alter coins. They threaten the btc and ltc.

Err, how does that tie in with the ongoing topic? But then again, this is the 'off topic' section.

Continue on.
1452  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Vircurex is now missing 5000 BTC - SCAM - Let's find KUMALA on: May 01, 2014, 01:10:28 AM
Months ago, without doing all the analysis you have, I thought something was funny as Vircurex was almost randomly adding and subtracting trading alt coins.  Just like owner was trying to make a quick buck and not interested in long term sustainability.  So I pulled out and looks like it was a good move.

I think a few months ago, or in 2011-2012 a few Bitcoins went missing from Vircurex, too. They've been acting funny for a long time.
1453  Other / Off-topic / Re: Ban fur farms in China on: May 01, 2014, 01:03:54 AM
I lived in Worcester Ma. back in the 70's and i heard a dog screaming so i went out in backyard. I have to this day wished i had never gone outside to investigate.
there was a doberman pinser hanging from a rope still alive and partially skinned. I have never heard a sound like that since and i never wish to.

humans are the single Most Destructive,Evil insane creatures on the planet. We stop at NOTHING for a $.

Not money - power. Wealth, corruption, intimidation. All of those lead up to power. If you have power, you can control anybody, any aspect of your life, and even a country. Human rights doesn't matter is this corrupted Tycoon. Only power.

Guys, quoting such a large number of posts just to reply to a single one with only one sentece makes the rest of the thread hard to read! I, personaly have no problem with it but Bitcointalk is not a chatroom and I know that many users are complaining about the spam and low quality posts. You are free to post as much as you want, but please; If you care to make threads easier to read, just edit quoted text before you post so you're only quoting the text you're replying to. It's esy and won't hurt anybody. Smiley

Ah, my bad. I forgot to snip the other quote off. I'll try not to seem so careless next time. And I do have to agree with Bitcointalk not being a chat room. That would be awkward, and, dare I say it, like a certain site that people try to not venture on.
1455  Other / Off-topic / Re: Time Does Not Exist on: April 30, 2014, 11:45:26 PM
Time is just a idea for something much larger created by humans, to simplify something unknown. Hey, maybe 'time' is actually something else. But humans didn't necessarily come on the Earth with time as a essential, so who knows?
1456  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Walmart gift cards now available -Gyft Cards using Bitcoins on: April 30, 2014, 11:40:12 PM
im glad to see walmart card is in now i can buy one before i go grocery shopping and feed myself with bitcoin!

WOW. If you ever needed proof that people don't read beyond the thread title before posting...

Wow what a sudden change of events.  So are there still some cards available for purchase at the is time?

Nope, the option to buy is gone. I grabbed one card while the window was briefly open.

The same thing happened with Marriott. It's such a shame.
1457  Other / Off-topic / Re: Breaking News: Mark Karpeles of Mt Gox hanging himself with a network cable. on: April 30, 2014, 11:07:18 PM
ahhhhh, and here I thought after the 20K post, the trolling will cease or at least will diminish to a reasonnable level but no, What a mistake Sad

Trolling will never stop. That is the law of the internet. But there are many kinds of trolls. This one was not that bad to be honest. Smiley

Isn't that great? To be honest, PG has raised a ton of money for charities, and have gotten some to accept Bitcoins. Plus, some of his trolling is actually pretty funny.
1458  Other / Off-topic / Re: Your favorite game on: April 30, 2014, 11:04:38 PM
The Last of Us on PS3, it is critically acclaimed action adventure game. It is a really different, mixing traditional survival, action, adventure,  stealth and constant exploration. Merges very good gameplay with a unrivaled story and unequaled production values.

I have to say the same. But I love playing a mixture of games. So I guess I love most games the same? Except for a few, which make no sense... I rather not talk about those. Retro or not.
1459  Other / Off-topic / Re: Oscar Pistorius case on: April 30, 2014, 11:02:06 PM
I carry a gun everyday and keep one ready every night. If I killed someone, as described in his defense, then I should go to jail because it was my fault they died. I don't know know the law there, but here if you blindly shoot through a door then you are going to prison.

Yeah, but he's rich and white so that tips the justice scales significantly.

So, being white and rich means you can kill someone over there without being sent to jail? I don't think that's true..     If that's true, I'm sure many other countries will tell that country how to use justice.

Actually, police corruption in Africa is kind of common. I wouldn't be surprised if he DIDN'T go to jail.
And being wealthy in some countries even give you a good path, including some of the most powerful ones.
1460  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your favorite car????? on: April 30, 2014, 10:46:25 PM
My dream car is a Lamborghini Veneno Roadster. It is currently the rarest car made by Lamborghini, and only has nine models that are going to be made. Each car will be priced at $4.5 million.

2.9 Seconds 0-60
221 MPH Top Speed
740 Horsepower...

Though it doesn't have a roof.

I still think it has a cool design, but a roof would be a bit better then having a fast car.
