Even alt coin mining with your 8 core CPU is not worth the reduced life of your notebook, but you may try it just for fun (not for profit)

Never trust online wallets, I'm not saying they're bad but almost all of them got hacked at least once before......Note: the above is just my opinion, if you disagree then disagree......

Thats true, but for low ammounts for spending purposes is blockchain.info ideal, easy to use and reasonably secure

I was just checking through some posts for reading excitement. Talk about a rigged vote!

Elections could be done the same ways. Rigged!

^^ all time troll feeder ^^

Meh, he came looking for it, and it's clear they don't want a third party holding them accountable to any dates. They removed any chance of being liable for their customers having any real protection on purpose. Wink

They won't be ready in October, that's a pipe dream... they didn't even tape out yet. By the time they ship their miners, KNC should have shipped their September and October orders. It is fairly probable that they will eventually deliver, but by then KNC should have cheaper hardware and the proud owners of BabyJets will probably feel that their units are more Baby than Jets Cheesy.

It is supported by BFL experience, but maybe KNC is different

The only way to exit is to buy bitcoins there and sent them elsewhere

and hoping your BTC withdrawal will be not delayed (lost)
1478  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Ideas for Alternative exchanges. on: August 14, 2013, 07:59:18 AM
I'm new to this forum but I have been actively following BTC and investing in them when I see fit since 2011. I'm quite pissed off with all the major exchanges because of the time it takes to transfer money in and out. I'd like to see transactions of BTC and Fiat move within 24 hours internationally with much lower fees. I'd also like to see the ability to trade between currencies at low brokerage rates. What's the deal with MtGox charging such outrageous fees for brokerage also? honestly .6%? That's huge considering they don't owe any of that money to stock exchange or federal reserve bank. I think a more respectable broker should charge .1%-.2% per bitcoin trade and <.1% on currency conversions.

Anyone else ?

You may not trade at MtGox, it will be clever decision anyway.
Dealing with Fiat is risky because there can be chargeback/funds freezed as some 3rd party decides. Thats why it is so complicated
