1221  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: August 06, 2015, 03:24:55 PM
Yeah, Trading with a good strategy can make a difference, as you can earn bitcoins quickly when it comes to trading, whereas sig campaigns is a time consuming to earn bitcoins as from a single account you cannot earn huge number of bitcoins.

Nope you are wrong on this, you can earn much if you are higher rank and you are a good poster, doesnt mean a bad posts but high quality one, I guess you can earn 1 btc per month and that is a lot for signature campaign doing. You will chance your perception about signature campaign when you see someone earn that much
There are many campaigns which pay more as compared to others but all the campaign have a limit of posts which they count. And above that count we are not get paid for extra posts.
And those which have no limits on posting, the slots are full.

It is better that we comment less and that also constructive posts, if we keep on spamming by posting more and more then we would surely get banned from the campaign, which would result in financial loss, so it is better to post quality comments in campaign.
1222  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many friends did you recommend bitcoin to? Did they accept it? on: August 06, 2015, 03:21:26 PM
I suggest them or try to give them some knowledge about bitcoin they are simply not interested. They simply say why should invest in such a product which we are not aware about.

I did recommended them few times, but every time they give me vague answer and doesn't show their willingness to invest in digital currency as they believe that it won't survive for a long time and their would loose their money by investing it in bitcoins.  Grin
Then you should recommend Bitcoin forum to them where they can learn more about the bitcoin and also tell them some easy ways to earn Bitcoin in their free time.
I think that this will generate some interest in them for Bitcoin and other altcoins.

My friends knows about bitcoin forum, they show their interest in the beginning but when they come to know that for posting they need to buy accounts and invest their money in it, they divert themselves to something else and don't want to invest their money in it.
1223  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin could bring about world peace? on: August 06, 2015, 02:35:57 PM
no. abseloutely no. why?
we know world peace just not about the money, but about heart, religion, people, argumentation.
and ego one person and each other...
everyone doesnt need money too, but happynest too.. real life is an important to thinks... and  education,,

That is a very valid reason, you are correct its not only about the money, there are many things that are more important as compared to money and need to be taken care of, and bitcoins is just fulfilling individual's dreams and cannot contribute to world peace.
1224  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could Bitcoin Crash Gold? on: August 06, 2015, 02:23:30 PM
I think it will in the near future, who knows?
I don't think this is going to be happen because Gold has his own worth and bitcoin can give some good competition  in near future in trading

Yes, bitcoin can never crash gold, as it has been proved to be the best investment product since past, and it will be the best in the coming future too, and the reason is there are many people who are not aware about the bitcoins so they would not prefer to invest in it.
1225  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which countries or currencies do not have their own bitcoin exchange yet ? on: August 06, 2015, 02:18:22 PM
Is there any exchange in India?

I haven't seen any exchanges yet in India, I visited India 6 months ago, but for my surprise I couldn't find a single shop where they accepts bitcoins as a mode of payment, the only thing in demand in India is Credit Cards, majority of the people use credit cards for making payments.
1226  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it true? Bitcoin Isn't a Currency but a Technology? on: August 06, 2015, 02:14:51 PM
I think bitcoin itself IS a currency, the blockchain would be considered "technology"

Yes bitcoin is a currency, no doubt it is an digital currency but it is used as equal as fiat, and blockchain can be treated as technology that is for sure, at this point we can't say that bitcoin is a primary currency but it is a currency for sure.
1227  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC in your country on: August 06, 2015, 02:11:43 PM
Nice thinking I'm also hoping that Bitcoin will again go to sky.
Currently it is just new and need some time to establish but I think that one day it will remove paper currency from the world.

LOL bitcoin will replace paper currency? I wil say that this is impossible even bitcoin will become much popular and Im against this thinking. It will not happen I swear. But of course I respect your opinion. Smiley
paper currency existed more than tousands of years ago, there will not probably disappear, bitcoin will be popular but not to replace papper currency
But this can happen its need too much time because nothing is impossible in this world

indeed, nothing is impossible, but for several years it will not be possible, perhaps 200 years old papper currency will be forgotten, but what bitcoin can still survive, 200 years from now?

Neither 200 years old paper currency will be forgotten nor it would be disappeared, and can bitcoin survive that old?? I simply don't think so, as fiat has ruled the world since ages and would be getting replaced by new born crypto currency is simply not possible.
1228  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banks were supposed to be frightened of Bitcoin on: August 06, 2015, 01:56:58 PM
Bitcoin is a threat to them for sure but I don't think they have to be worried yet as it's going to take quite some time before bitcoin starts to eat into their profits but I hope its sooner rather than later. I think people are always going to need banks though but bitcoin will likely flourish in parts of the world where people do not have access to a bank.

Yes it is a blessing for those who don't have bank accounts, it would surely attract them towards bitcoins, and as of today we even don't need credit cards for online purchases as bitcoin is taking care of that too, so it would surely affect the business of banks.
1229  Other / Off-topic / Re: DO YOU HAVE 1 BITCOIN? on: August 06, 2015, 01:55:00 PM

Exactly
No one is really counting
Most on this thread say they don't have 1 btc but that's just because those who do aren't posting here
probably your right as those who mostly have 1 BTC or above that are too busy earning more bitcoins for their respective plans

Yes, those who are holding 1BTC or more wouldn't be posting here, rather they would be constantly thinking of multiplying their bitcoins in a quick and fast way, as they hold good amount of coins  if they make higher investment they can earn good returns.
1230  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is wealth boring? on: August 06, 2015, 01:46:33 PM
What I would want to educate people against a system which is made to serve the elite, Make Schools colleges etc and only accept bitcoin as the currency. I would hire the top scientist to work on warp drive Tongue And try not to make a black hole on earth during the process Cheesy

These are just basic dreams what everyone wants. But to make it a reality its almost impossible.

That can be possible if you marry a rich girl  Cheesy who is multi millionaire and you can achieve all your goals by doing nothing, only need to convince her that you are the best guy for her  Grin and you are done. I think it is very simple  Wink
1231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best way to measure Bitcoin popularity? on: August 06, 2015, 01:43:58 PM
I think the best way to measure popularity is by the price, but also the number of transactions happening every day.

Further to this, you shoudl check out the thread asking people who has 1btc or more. Im gobsmacked that 90% of the people there dont own a whole coin. If you made assumptions that 50% of the accounts on ths forum don't own a whole btc then you can see how any sorts of surveys, traffic counts etc can be deceiving.

It is quite an eye opening read. On the flip side if Bitcoin was truly popular barely a soul would be capable of owning a whole coin.

There are several leaps to make for a coin owner. Hearing about it, knowing about it, properly understanding what it entails, wanting it and then actually getting hold of some. That process might take years for certain people and most would fall at the final furlong.

Lots of people make lots of noise but most don't have the spare cash or the balls to actually own any.

One bitcoin can be a lot of money to some people, but some people join this forum to either learn more about it before they take the plunge or to actually try to earn their first coin in some way.

Agreed, There are many people who wants to learn whole concept of bitcoins, like from where they should invest, when to invest, and make sure they don't invest into any ponzi schemes, and they can get valuable information from this forum.
1232  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest problem with Bitcoin on: August 06, 2015, 01:41:13 PM
after a few weeks playing with bitcoin, for me, the biggest problem are the FEES.

People keep spreading the wrong message that bitcoin fees are cheaper than fiat-c, and sometimes people says that bitcoin don't have fees.... BUT in fact, i never paid fees in fiat-c transactions, they are free in europe, and in bitcoin i am paying fees in every transaction... I am playing with some wallets, moving some bits from one to another and i pay fees that are bigger than the amount i am transferring! this is a huge NO for new users.

People here in europe are accustomed to free transactions and when they see the fees in bitcoin, they turn down bitcoin world. it is very sad Sad I am a bit disappointed too, if i am honest Sad

Fees might be low to zero to send in your own country but not worldwide. Besides, for most bitcoin transactions you can send for free as long as it's not dust. I have sent many transactions without paying any fees though I normally add a little something to help the network/miners.

Yes, but even if send it worldwide, the fees are comparatively very low as compared to others, like WU charges heaving when you transfer funds across the country, so bitcoins as a very low cost even if you transfer to other countries.
1233  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I've been scammed 5.5BTC. What will you do when your Bitcoin get scammed? on: August 06, 2015, 01:39:10 PM
Hello buddies,

It would be sad story if our bitcoin get scammed.  Cry

But it does happen from time to times, as we are all human beings, we are kind of greedy, we all want more bitcoins, and we all want the bitcoin in our wallet growing and growing ...

Then, we may get scammed by some online games, get scammed by gambling, get scammed by some investment programs, get scammed by ponzi schemes...etc., we send them our bitcoin base on their promising promises, but after the payment we'll never get their delivery as return ...  and we may even get scammed by our best friends as well ...

I've been scammed by a ponzi program called Rockwell Partner, I was scammed 5.5 BTC there.
I could do nothing expect shouting everywhere it was a scammer.

What did you do to fight against the scammers when your bitcoin was scammed?
I'm sorry to hear this Sad. If it was me, i would forget about it. Don't wasted your time to shout scammers. First it's your first experience, so let your 5.5BTC go because they won't return your BTC anymore. Learn from this and don't try ponzi again Wink

Exaclty, you cannot help it once it got scammed as the scammers are never going to return it back, as its their job to steal hard earned coins of ordinary people like us, but it could be an learning experience and should take care that the same mistake is not repeated again in the future.

1236  Economy / Scam Accusations / Guy asks me to send 7 Bitcoins first- trying to deploy scam tactics, users Beware on: July 29, 2015, 03:30:40 PM
This guy and me are going back and forth for a long time about buying amazon gift cards, he has agreed to sell me 5,300$ worth of amazon gift cards,
but he does not insist to use escrow, wants me to send first, just saw that his Localbitcoins account is also staff banned as he had pulled exit scam, now i chatted with him for so many hours asking him to accept escrow of default trust members, so that trade will be safe but he insists no escrow is required and asks me to send btc first, i have dealt with so many people like him before and he has a green trust also, most likely a bought account, which he can trick people to scam them out of Bitcoins. So community be warned.

He agreed for LBC escrow from his most likely bought account and then backed out saying the LBC fees are high, a scam tactic.

He doesn't deserve the green trust which most likely it is a bought account and can  use to scam others saying he has more trust etc.
