1301  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] Bitcoin is just like as a Swiss Bank Acc for holding black money ?? on: June 18, 2015, 03:56:07 PM
BTCitcoin is more than just a currency in my point of view the last one option is more attractive for this, the current banking system is not secured and much expensive way of transaction with very poor speed but on other side bitcoin is truly decentralized system and more secured way to keep to your savings safe for bright future.

Yeah and the Privacy attached to bitcoins makes it more attractive and popular as nobody is aware that who is transacting and your identity is also not disclosed So it is better then a traditional banking system for sure and  the transaction fees are too low as compared to the banking system.
1302  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: June 18, 2015, 03:51:21 PM
I've always said buying and holding would be your best bet. I think Bitcoin rose by 7% recently so there's a bit of profit there. I'm sure we'll see hundreds of percent in profit eventually if we have the patience.

i agree. i have been stashing some coins for some time now. in the past month that the price was at a somewhat stable stage i tried to but at the bottoms and hold. i think the future price of bitcoin is looking good especially after the recent rise.

Yes and holding it for the future would be the best option available at present. Like say holding in for next 10 years would be great and you never know what would the value of bitcoins in the next 10 years well ending it on positive note we hope that the value of bitcoin reaches to the next level.
1303  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: should i move my ''saving'' to Bitcoin? on: June 18, 2015, 03:47:55 PM
since you are saying that you can afford to lose it, i say put it in bitcoin. but if you are getting profit from your stocks(savings) at the moment i say you don't take all your money out of it and leave some be that way.

I was going to suggest the classic line of don't invest what you can't afford to lose - and I'm sure it has already been suggested - but it's true. Personally I wouldn't put all your savings in bitcoin but invest an amount you are comfortable with. I think in the long run bitcoin will be a good investment with great returns but remember nothing is guranteed.

Nothing is guaranteed but this is a good move to invest your savings into bitcoins and If you have a patience to hold it for next 5 years without using it then I believe you can expect great return on investment in the future and there are also many other advantages of holding bitcoins.

1305  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin dead? on: June 13, 2015, 10:52:53 PM

No doubt that is true that media has played an important role in it but they were forced by the government to do so and that is the reason banking systems are also against the bitcoin as the banking systems are regulated by the government and that is the reason bitcoin has lost its shine.

Don't blame the media coz they're only doing there job, blame it on the serial scammers and ponzi operators they have tarnished the name of bitcoin because of their doings and until now these scammers are on the loose to make more scam attempts in the future..

Yes they are doing their job.But are they doing in the right way?? Sometimes yes and Sometimes no. Even if it is a small news they will add fuel to the fire and then telecast it in front of the viewers to increase their so called 'TRP's" they just want to make profit out of it and there are many mistakes made by media itself while telecasting the news on TV.
1306  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: mastercard attacking Bitcoin on: June 13, 2015, 10:47:49 PM
reading the other users comments, i realized that many bitcoin users believe that this was a good news and showed that they are scared of bitcoin and think it can replace them.

but my question is, how would other people who do not use bitcion or know about bitcoin will think when hearing this news? it is not going to be a positive thought as we have.

Exactly there are more users of master card as compared to bitcoins. And I don't think it can make a difference to the master card customers as they are just trying to distract the mindset of people by spreading this news it will never affect the customer base of master card as a whole.
1307  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC in your country on: June 13, 2015, 10:44:43 PM
It is legal in my country afaik and I do know a few people who use bitcoins, some of them were introduced to it by me but they mostly use it for anonymous and easy gambling.

I have also met a few people online who live very close to my home and they buy/sell bitcoins and I use their services from time to time to purchase bitcoins. So to answer your questions OP I think it's not too developed atm but it's getting there slowly.
More on in this forum the most people went to gambling site to gambled. But they didn't care about the investment or any methods to grow they coins. And i only know few people who using bitcoin and bitcoin help them financialy and also in knowledge.

The people who are addicted to gambling will definitely choose gambling as it is the best way to gamble without making a noise and nobody knows that you are gambling and how much you won are you lost it is totally secret so definitely majority of the people are using bitcoins for gambling.
1308  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Use cases. What do you actually use Bitcoin for? on: June 13, 2015, 10:41:36 PM
I'm using Bitcoin for Online Shopping, I never do an online shopping before I knew Bitcoin. Bitcoin is really helpful for me Grin

yes it is helpful and it is safe. I generally use bitcoin for online shopping and also for the money transfer as it take only minutes to transfer funds from one place to another while banking or currency exchanges takes 24 to 48 hours which will not help you in the case of emergency.
1309  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Time to pack it up on: June 13, 2015, 10:39:10 PM
Pack it up? Wait for a couple months and you'd see MasterCard trying to buy the bitcoin enterprise.

It is not possible. Master Card has its own customer base and they will follow master card as they are using its since long period of time and they will never get into bitcoins it is same as people who trust fiat they will go for fiat only they will never experiment with their mode of payment as they trust it and they are used to it.
1310  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which is the best Investment Option for Bitcoins? on: June 13, 2015, 10:35:26 PM

You cannot be so sure that it is a scam as it is making a payment on regular basis so it would be too early to make a judgement that it is a scam. The people are against it as they are not able to digest the pay out they are making and surely they will say it is a scam but it might prove to be the best campaign in the future if it is genuine as its payout is the maximum.

I haven't invested or looked at any of their investmentment plans but in the scam accusation thread , there is enough proof to show that they have faked a lot of things on their website. I couldn't even find an ANN thread for their investment site, which makes the way they run the site extremely fishy. However as for investments  , I have seen a lot of scams making payouts in the start and then stopping after they make enough money, so you would want to be careful where you invest your money.

Yes they will pay for certain period of time to attract the users to join their campaign and they will surely pay for month or two to gain an attention from the users and once they are done with their profits they will simply disappear which would directly affect the investments of the users so it is better to be more careful before joining campaigns.

Ya but my friend is earning good through that signature campaign and he is getting payed every two days so at a moment I feel that it is not a scam and should try to join the campaign but according to the people over the forum every one is opposing it by saying that it is a fake campaign.

i was in the campaign for a week and all the warning signs are there, one of the biggest would be the insanely high (5-15%) referral commissions they give, mining is an industry with razor sharp margins of profit, there is no reason to be giving out that much money, in addition, their signature campaign pays 0.1 bonus to hero and legendary members. no legitimate cloud mining operation can afford to give out that much with the current difficulty and bitcoin price.

Yeah and that is the reason why everyone is saying that it is a scam as noboby can afford to give this much higher payout and it is simply not possible. Firstly I also thought of joining that campaign but I saw the comments and feedback of the people I changed my mind.
1311  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many friends did you recommend bitcoin to? Did they accept it? on: June 13, 2015, 10:32:08 PM
Spoken to a few friends about Bitcoin. I wouldn't say I "recommended" it to them so to speak, but the subject came up in conversation.

Two of  the people I spoke to about Bitcoin had already heard about it and knew more about it already, they were also aware of the other altcoins, for example he mentioned one called "Max Coin" which I'd never heard of to be totally honest. It was actually my friend that bought up the subject of bitcoin to start with. Needless to say we've had a few deep conversations since then.

That is good to hear that your friends are aware about the bitcoin not the same situation with everyone. I talked to my friends who are working with IT firms but still they are not aware about the bitcoins so when I told them about the bitcoins they answer me that we will google it and get back to you  Grin
1312  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So I guess people are using bitcoins for takeaway on: June 13, 2015, 10:29:38 PM
I use http://www.takeaway.com for ordering food sometimes, lately once every Saturday when hanging out with friends.

Being in Germany they redirect me to a local service (lieferservice). On Saturday I went to order something but found no bitcoin payment option to pay.

I checked again today and saw that it was not available for other restaurants so I sent the site an e-mail to ask about it and this was their response:

Quote
thank you for your message.

Since the companies lieferando and lieferservice became one, we just used the pay options from lieferando.

There are a lot of people complaining, thats why we are planing to put the bitcoin payment function back in our system.

I dont knowm how long this will take, so i please you to wait a little.

Mit freundlichen Grüßen,

Nadine

Glad to see that Germans are using it and willing to e-mail the company when the option is not available.

I am looking forward to eventually having full-time income in Bitcoin, since I will be able to SPEND many of them on services like takeaway.
The future is very bright, even though it takes time for the light to shine.  Smiley

Even I am planning to get rid of my job and start using signature campaign for full time like say 8 hours a day. I mean I would be my own boss and it would be definitely to work from home without any peer pressure and if you work more you earn more so signature campaign + Trading = Good Salary  Grin

That is not an great idea. Don't leave your job as your job pays you much more higher and you also get other benefits from the job here you just need to keep on posting comments and commenting 8 hours continuously is not a joke so I would rather suggest you to do this part time and concentrate on your job.
1313  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Warren Buffet saids: “Stay Away From Bitcoin” on: June 13, 2015, 10:26:48 PM
His first saying is do not invest in anything you do not understand. That's why he never touched tech or internet companies. He's old school, and avoiding Bitcoin is understandable.

Yes we know that he is the one of the richest person of the world but it doesnt make him that he is correct in whatever he says like today new technologies are getting into play and he has never been into the tech world so how can he be so sure about the bitcoins and he have never used bitcoin so I believe we should just ignore him

He got to be one of the richest people of the world through gambling on stocks, shares, and currencies. I'm sure he knows more than most will ever do about his investment choices, but ultimately he took gambles and got lucky. Why should we take his advice not to gamble on Bitcoin, especially as he doesn't understand it? By telling people not to gamble on Bitcoin he has become a gambler telling people not to gamble.

Ya he got all his wealth by gambling and now he is suggesting the younger generation not to gamble. That is stupid and ridiculous. As in the past there was no advanced techonology as we have at present and he is not technology friendly so he wants that everyone should stay away from the latest technology.

Holy Creep. Crazy guy I must say he wants to distract the mindset of people who wants get involved into bitcoins but for his kind information no one is gonna listen to him as people are much more educated and knows what  is right and what is wrong no one needs his opinion whether to use bitcoins or not.
1314  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does Bitcoin mean to you (A poll) on: June 13, 2015, 10:23:53 PM
Money, obviously Grin

Also yeah, sending payment is easier now, also "let's hope to get richhh!!!!"

Yes and for me it is an future investment which can give me best return on investments in the future which no other financial product can give. So I believe in investing in bitcoin at present and hold it for the future and sell it when it gives me right price and right return on my investments.
Yeah, the prices still low atm and this is probably the right time to buy some.

Yes and if you have excess fund then don't go for any other product like gold, land or shares just invest in bitcoins as the nature of bitcoins is volatile you never know withing few months it can get to doubled prices which can prove to be profitable and get maximum returns within a short period of time.

I am a business man so for me it is an future investment which can give me best returns in the future which no other product can. And i will not get carried away with the people saying that bitcoin is dead rather then I would prefer to invest more in it and prove the world wrong.
1315  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MasterCard makes the case that it’s safer and faster than Bitcoin! LOL on: June 13, 2015, 10:20:51 PM
I'm surprised to see so many critics of Mastercard. It's a good service, with millions of satisfied customers all over the world. What we must see is that BTC is much more than Mastercard because it's also a currency. Mastercard is only a fast and efficient payment system. You cannot invest any money in a Mastercard.

Countryfree has it.  Mastercard is one of many off-chain escrow / tx services.  When fees go up (they will, regardless of any attempts to stall that) you will use these services more.

Everyone is using it since long time and everyone will keep using in the future too. Bitcoin can never make any vast difference at a moment for reducing the customer base of master card as people have more faith in master card as compared to bitcoin and ofcourse master card is safe too no doubt about that.
1316  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: Should you stay or should you go? on: June 13, 2015, 10:18:03 PM
bitcoin in long term  should have a bright future and that gives the reasons that we are all here talking about it.

I hope what you are saying that turns true and if it turns then it would be like dream come true of all the users of bitcoin who still have in it that it will grow and shine in the future as the prices have lowered down at present so everyone has a fear that it wont survive in the future.
1317  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: June 11, 2015, 06:32:44 PM
Since there were many news that stated some banks got problem, e.g. bank was hacked, bank fired employees, etc, I think people especially the bank customers began to withdraw their cash and choose to invest it. They don't want to risking their money anymore, and the investment is best solution for them which they will get higher profit than saving it.

I don't think that people who just saved their money would have much desire to invest it again anytime soon, since keeping money in a bank is also an investment (kind of). Those who have a lot of money (given they saved it on a deposit in the first place, which I doubt) would buy gold, real estate, or US Treasuries, those who don't have that much would just keep cash under mattress...

Ofcourse, The people who are have lots of money would definitely go for keeping their money safe in the banks by transferring it into fixed deposits the interest rate is less but atleast their money is safe and when it comes to banking system I don't think that the big fish would ever be shut down.
1318  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: how much can you make weekly? on: June 11, 2015, 06:28:07 PM
It depends on the price of bitcoin. Sometimes I make a lot while sometimes I don't. I'm doing trading so it's sometimes good sometimes bad.

Trading is good option to grow your bitcoins rather then going for gambling and trying to grow bitcoins in a quick time. It is too risky as you cannot always depend on your luck and my experience says that you end with nothing if you gamble you loose your hard earned coins so trading is a better option.
1319  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin dead? on: June 11, 2015, 06:22:47 PM
bitcoin is not dead and still alive until now even bitcoin price is pretty low now not but more people interested to use bitcoin everyday
and it is keeping bitcoin still alive maybe in the next 10 years

Its prices are down so everyone has started to believe that bitcoin is dead and the media is playing a major role in making bitcoin dead as they have the pressure from government to do so and people are very much influenced by media they just get carried away with the news without knowing the reality.
1320  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So I guess people are using bitcoins for takeaway on: June 11, 2015, 06:20:29 PM
Nowadays bitcoin becomes popular payment method due to its offered advantage compared with traditional ways! ppl are keen to pay with bitcoin and merchants will be happy to adopt bitcoin payment to attract customers! It is good for the bitcoin development.

One reason I think it is more popular is because of convenience, and I find this especially true with me; I dont have to enter all my credit card information, phone number, register, etc; I just need to copy and paste an address to send to and the amount to send.

Absolutely. It is the best and convenient way to make a payment for the purchases are made and I believe it is the safest too. You can get rid of credit card details and we have experienced in the past that hackers are very active when the payment is made by credit card.
yeah and hackers can't hacked your bitcoin wallet to stole your coins. And its the easiest way for the min time. And also you can back up your wallet in case of losing data to your phone. You can insert your address to other device using you back up data.

It is better then credit card that is for sure. Credit cards are very easy to hack and once you are aware that your credit card is lost or hacked the post procedure is too hactic for eg calling the bank to block your credit card, apply for the new one etc. So paying with bitcoin is the simplest way.
Yeah. And also you don't need to worry if you don't have a fiat money, you can now exchange your coins easily.

Yes that is the best thing about holding bitcoins you can go anywhere without carrying a cash or credit card and you just need to provide your bitcoin address which makes it so attractive that people have started to use more and more bitcoins at the shopping malls or buying anything online.
