641  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: November 12, 2017, 10:14:09 AM
Andrew Haldane said one solution would be for the Bank of England to issue a state-backed digital currency based on bitcoin. Supporting this initiative would be a negative interest rate levied on paper currency relative to the digital currency, with these measures do you think there is more possibilities that sometime:

Paper money will be banned entirely?
How long do you think that happens?
would it work?
What security and privacy risks would it raise?
And how would public and privately issued monies interact?

Even though bitcoin has reached eminence heights of success but still I do believe that paper money does have a future and will not diminish in the upcoming times because firstly, paper money is much more popular than bitcoin and because of which it has way more users than bitcoin of all the age groups. Secondly, paper money is stable and it’s price does not fluctuate often whereas bitcoin value fluctuate a lot. Then paper money does not require any internet connection to run unlike bitcoin.
642  Economy / Economics / Re: When is the right time to buy bitcoin ? on: November 11, 2017, 05:55:09 PM
After the recent news re. BTC China and regulators crackdown on cryptocurrency trading, we all know which direction bitcoin and alt coins are currently heading. I wish to buy Bitcoin and Altcoin when they hit the floor, but i am unsure of when the right time is to enter?

I think now is the good time to buy bitcoin because it has tremendous amount of potential and has high success rates. Bitcoin’s value has increased severely since it had started as is keep on increasing in present and is estimated to further increase in the coming future. So if you will invest in bitcoin right now then your invested amount will increase in the upcoming future and you will have high profits.
643  Economy / Economics / Re: Are cryptocurrencies better than regular currency on: November 11, 2017, 02:18:19 PM
Honestly I believe bitcoin is better since one you don't use your credit card so you don't loose you needed cash but instead your cash that you could easily earn back from mining. Plus, it's open to all ages unlike credit cards.
Yes I do think that bitcoin or any other alternate cryptocurrencies are better than regular currency. This is because firstly, bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies are global form of currency so can be used all over the globe without the hassle of currency exchange. Then bitcoin has very fast and reliable transactions. Then bitcoin wallet is completely safe unlike regular currency which can be stolen.
644  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: November 11, 2017, 01:30:28 PM
If you had to convert all your wealth to either Bitcoin or gold and keep it there for 10 years, which would you choose? Keep in mind the fact that Bitcoin has only been around for 5 years, and could be fundamentally different in any number of ways in 10 years.
Well I think gold is better than bitcoin any day any time even though bitcoin has beaten gold in terms of prices. This is because firstly, gold is more popular than bitcoin because of which it has way more users than bitcoin. Then gold has a physical entity whereas bitcoin is just a digital form of currency. Then gold is more stable than bitcoin and gold is regulated by government whereas bitcoin is not regulated by any government.
645  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ideas to make some bitcoin on: November 11, 2017, 11:10:45 AM
How can I make minimum of 0.3btc in a month without trading and gambling?
As I've heard bad experience with both, but still need to make money

Bitcoin is really a good platform to make money. It provides many ways to do the same as well. Firstly one can start trading bitcoin to make more of them. Secondly one can lend bitcoin as a loan and can earn on the return. Then one can also invest in bitcoin to increase their invested value as bitcoin’s value keep on increasing. Then one can also gamble bitcoin where he or she can earn high amount but as its gambling so it’s a risky job. One can also join signature campaign where they have to post and are paid in return.
646  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin end? on: November 11, 2017, 10:50:45 AM
Bitcoin right now keeps on increasing its value, and many more cryptocurrencies are occurring.
Do you think someday bitcoin will end or will be replace by other cryptocurrencies?

Is it too late to invest?
Is there a chance that bitcoin will be down?
No. I don’t think that bitcoin will end because it has tremendous amount of potential. Since it has started bitcoin has observed huge amount of popularity among people of all age groups its value is also keep on increasing till now and will increase further in the coming future because people have started trusting bitcoin and are willing to invest in it too.

648  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to know a good project? on: November 10, 2017, 08:22:52 PM
i'm newbie just know cryptocurrency, i have a little money and i really want to income ICO. But a newbie like me will not discern which is a good project. so i hope old member who have experience this will share for me How to know a good project?
There are certain things an a factors which you should consider to judge a project.
1. IDEA -this is the most important factor to consider. Always look for projects with unique ideas as these projects have higher chances to grow with a very fast rate.
2. TEAM - a strong development team aids in faster growth of the project.
3. Popularity - popular projects have more support and popular projects are way more stable in the long run.
649  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible for the bitcoin to lose it's value ? on: November 10, 2017, 08:08:57 PM
Hi , I'm new so basically I still have a lot to learn about the cryptocurrency , but I would like to know if it would be possible for the bitcoin to start the downfall ? I mean like what scenario can happen that the bitcoin would be pushed back like 5-6 years ?
Sorry if my post is in the wrong place or it's not relevant.
I don't think that its possible for Bitcoin to loose all its value as Bitcoin is becoming more and more popular each and everyday. Many people have started to consider it as one of the world's fastest growing investment and you can expect a very high value of Bitcoin in the coming years. Many people have invested in Bitcoin and you can only expect Bitcoin to show an increase in value.
650  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think billionaires invest in BTC? on: November 10, 2017, 07:52:59 PM
I am pretty sure they do. This is a huge opportunity they can't afford to miss. They were probably informed of the bitcoin before of the common people

I am also sure of this. They have a lot of money and a business that brings them income. They are not afraid to lose part of the investment. Therefore, they can safely invest in Bitcoin. Poor people can not do this because they do not have a cash supply. And so they remain poor
Yes billionaires do invest in bitcoin. They know about the market so well and all of their investments are done strategically. They know that in the last eight years bitcoin has reached a new height and bitcoin's price is at the all time high,so they know that the profits full much more than the normal.Since the billionaires know about digitalization, they prefer bitcoin rather than fiat money. They know how to grab opportunities to earn more money.Risk taking factor is the biggest quality of billionaires which make them earn more money.
651  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can not replace fiat on: November 10, 2017, 07:32:20 PM
Yes, got you intrigued, didn't it?

Bitcoin is a very good thing to have as an asset. Just like gold. Even better if I may say. It's secure, and unlike fiat money it actually exists and work is put into it to produce it. This makes it great to store value.
However, it cannot and will not replace current fiat money that the entire world it using. It just cannot.
Take paying a cup of coffee for example. To pay your coffee with bitcoins, one must get bitcoins first, either by mining or buying bitcoins with other kinds of money (*cough*fiat*cough). It ends up being a quite complicated process, don't you think?
Until we reach the point where paying for a cup of coffee is as easy with Bitcoin as it is with cash, we will never get mass adoption. And as far as I see it, there is no way of simplifying the acquiring of bitcoins.
Yes. I do believe that bitcoin can not replace fiat money even though bitcoin has gained immense popularity and users in its journey since it had started. This is because firstly, fiat money is way more popular than bitcoin and because of which it has way more users of all age groups associated with fiat money whereas bitcoin has very less users as compared to fiat money. Secondly people trust fiat money more than bitcoin and fiat money is stable whereas bitcoin is not stable.
652  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: November 10, 2017, 06:51:52 PM
I think in the presence of bitcoin will reduce unemployment, because searching for bitcoin also requires hard work and creativity, and competitiveness in bitcoin is also high almost similar to work in the real world

What is your opinion this time?
Yes I do believe that bitcoin reduces unemployment. This is because it provides many ways to earn money so it makes person financially strong. Firstly one can join signature campaign where one has to post on relevant topics and then they are paid accordingly. This is not very different from getting employed at a company where one has to devote his or her time, devotion and energy. And is paid in return.
653  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is a good investment now, because... on: November 10, 2017, 06:19:16 PM
The stock market is 70% overvalued ... crash now inevitable

Author Charles Dickens' classic, A Tale of Two Cities, begins this way: "It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness ... ."

According to one stock market analytical firm, GMO, today's market behavior resembles Dickens' book, which was published in 1859 and was set during the time of the French Revolution some seven decades earlier.

As the firm noted, in recent days much of the investing and financial world was focused on a meeting in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, attended by Federal Reserve chairperson Janet Yellen. But GMO analysts were watching other things and events happening in the market.

In August, the firm noted in its monthly report – reproduced in part by Zero Hedge – that Shiller P/E, a respected metric for measuring U.S. equities valuation, surpassed 27. Given that normally its range is somewhere slightly above 16, it appears that valuations are looking a bit larger than they should be.

What's more, GMO noted, the last time the Shiller P/E was above 27 was in October 2007, "and we all know how that movie ended," the GMO report said.

'A tale of mediocrity, at best'

And though no one at the analytical firm is saying that the nation and the world are set to experience another Great Recession and near-meltdown of the global economic order – and nothing is written in stone saying that stocks are not allowed to become more expensive – "we continue to maintain our bias against U.S. stocks," the firm said in its report.

At the same time, the firm said, it was tracking a widening disconnect between fundamentals of the U.S. economy, corporate America and their stocks. "It really is a tale of two cities," the analytics firms said, "one of mediocre fundamentals versus a meteoric rise in markets."

In assembling some relevant metrics pertaining to the overall health of the economy and some top-line/bottom-line figures from the S&P 500 index, the firm looked at gross domestic product growth, productivity and household income, in addition to some others like revenue and earnings for U.S. stocks, just to round out the assessment.

"It is a tale of mediocrity, at best," the firm wrote in its report.

After that, analysts contrasted those metrics with actual market returns of the S&P 500 Index spanning the past five years. "Truly meteoric," the firm wrote, adding this caveat: "As an aside, we at GMO have always been leery of drawing too many investment conclusions from staring at economic data–we are more valuation-oriented, after all–but even we are struck by the divergence."

Cool
Yes I think that it’s a good time to invest in bitcoin because bitcoin has a tremendous amount of potential. This is because since bitcoin had started its price and value is keep on increasing and if this continues then it will keep on increasing in the future and because of which one who has invested right now will be in profit in the future. Also as bitcoin is the oldest among the other alternate cryptocurrencies. It is more trusted and safest to invest as compared to other alternate cryptocurrencies.
654  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How would you invest 10000$? on: November 10, 2017, 05:39:59 PM
Hello everyone,

I just joined the forum even though I have been reading it for a while. With so many altcoins doing really well in the last few days I was wondering how would you guys invest 10000 today?
I'd probably buy Ether, Litecoin and Monero.

Would recommend one to buy a gold bitcoin with 10000$ Because bitcoin is better than other alternate cryptocurrencies. Firstly bitcoin is much older than other cryptocurrencies. Then secondly bitcoin has higher rates of increase in prices as compared to other alternate cryptocurrencies. Then bitcoin has much more popularity and users as compared to other cryptocurrencies. So because of all these things bitcoin is better than the other alternative cryptocurrencies.
655  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Please suggest me which altcoin is best to buy now on: November 10, 2017, 04:00:28 PM
Dear Friends, I want to invest 500 usd in altcoins, any body give me a list of 4/5 good coins from the prospective of 6/7 months holding

Thanks in adavance
I would recommend you to buy monero and litecoin as both of them are really progressive and popular coins. Monero being famous for its privacy and completely anonymous nature. The transactions are secure and untraceable. You can expect good point of growth from monero in future.
Litecoin being famous for its lightning fast transactions and it is almost four times faster than Bitcoin. You can expect the price of litecoin to cross the 300$ mark within 2-3 years.
656  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest now or wait a while? on: November 10, 2017, 03:40:08 PM
Hey guys, my name is Thamos and I'm fairly new to Bitcoin. I've been reading up on Bitcoin for like, only, 2/3 weeks now. I was already planning on investing but I wanted to have a bit more knowledge about it all. I guess now I do.

I was just wondering, seeing how Bitcoin's price has increased by a lot over the last couple days, when would be best for me to hop in the pool. Should I buy now or should I wait till the price drops (even if it's only by a small percentage)?

I'm just looking for some advice. Thanks a lot!
Yes it’s a good time to invest right now in bitcoin. Bitcoin has a tremendous amount of growth and since it had started it is increasing in value regularly. And it will also increase in the coming future. Because of all these things bitcoin has gained a lot of popularity and users among younger and older generations. By seeing all these positive qualities it is good to invest right now because there is a high chance of increase in your invested money.
657  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a mode of payment on: November 10, 2017, 03:26:40 PM
Just wondering, who is accumulating Bitcoin via using it as a method of being paid, so instead of being paid in dollars or any other amount you ask client to pay you via Bitcoin especially merchants and freelancers. I think it is cool to be paid via Bitcoin because it appreciates so its like you can earn twice if you sell high.
It would be great if bitcoin can be used as a mode of payments because firstly bitcoin is a global form of currency so it can be used all over the world without the problem of currency. There are many people who travel a lot have most of the time they face problems with currency exchange so if bitcoin are used as a mode of payments then this problems will be sorted. Then while exchanging currency there is always a commission which is not there in bitcoin.
658  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: November 10, 2017, 01:27:06 PM
If you had to convert all your wealth to either Bitcoin or gold and keep it there for 10 years, which would you choose? Keep in mind the fact that Bitcoin has only been around for 5 years, and could be fundamentally different in any number of ways in 10 years.
bitcoin has escalated over gold in terms of price but still I don’t think that bitcoin is better than gold because firstly, gold is way more popular than bitcoin among teenagers and other age groups than bitcoin. Then gold has way more users than bitcoin. Then gold is more stable than bitcoin its value does not fluctuate whereas bitcoin’s value fluctuate a lot. Then gold is regulated by government whereas bitcoin is not regulated by any government. So because of these reasons bitcoin is not better than gold.
659  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we make more money? on: November 10, 2017, 12:20:05 PM
What are the things to do to succeed in trade? What are you doing to make your business bigger?
How can we make more money?
Bitcoin is a very good platform for earning money because it provides many ways to earn money. Firstly one can start earning by joining signature campaign. Where one has to post on relevant topics and then they are paid accordingly. Secondly one can earn money by investing in bitcoin. Then one can also give bitcoin as a loan and can earn on return. One can also earn by trading bitcoin. Because of so many options people use bitcoin to earn money.
660  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can cryptocurrency make real money disappear? on: November 10, 2017, 08:53:14 AM
What are the chances of living in a world with no actual money ?  Shocked
No I don’t think that bitcoin or any cryptocurrencies will be able to replace money and result in disappearance of money. This is because firstly, money is much more popular than bitcoin or any other cryptocurrencies. Secondly, money has way more users than bitcoin or any other cryptocurrencies. Then money does not require internet for transactions and to run unlike bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies which require a stable internet connection. Then money is a stable form of currency whereas bitcoin or cryptocurrencies are not.
