901  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Investment advice for 1 year. x10 or x100 ;D on: March 01, 2018, 04:54:20 PM
Pick some ico for high risk investments. And have a look at some established coins with real world partnerships . And of course pickup some ether and Bitcoin for safe bets
902  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: VeChain, still super undervalued on: March 01, 2018, 04:49:54 PM
Odd no one is talking about this one.

Partnerships with PWC, Renault, Kuehne & Nagel (huge logistics company with billions in revenue), DIG China and there are more big names around the project such as Microsoft
and BMW

""Microsoft Technology Center in France and PwC Innovation Center in Shanghai invited VeChain to setup a demo center recently. Mr. Qian says Beijing and Qianhai are opening soon. “We believe this is a very good way to let more clients see, touch, and understand the blockchain application.” For now, VeChain will keep focused on transforming the supply chain today.""

Development plan here: https://cdn.vechain.com/vechain_ico_ideas_of_development_en.pdf

How high can this one go? (right now at $100MM)
I'm thinking a minimum of $150MM-$200MM
Thankfully somehow I stumbled upon this coin and bought it without doing much research I have to say and I am so happy that I did that.My only regret is that I didn't buy more
903  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NANO formerly known as RaiBlocks (XRB) is going to be a top 10 coin on: March 01, 2018, 04:48:15 PM
RAIBLOCKS  (XRB) is amazing.  It is what a crypto currency should be.  Once you use it, you are in awe and want to buy as much as you can when you see it at under $5.  It seems that is what everyone does because it like $0.10 a few weeks ago.

It was designed for one thing and one thing only: to be currency that allows the transfer of value.  It does that better and faster than anything else.  Yes, even faster than a centralized bank coin like Ripple (XRP) with it's validators or IOTA with it's centralized coordinator.  It's amazing to have multiple monitors and watch yourself send it from and exchange and get it in in your wallet at the blink of an eye.

I only hold a few coins long term (BTC, XMR, ETH) but this got me hooked right away.  How is this not a top 5 coin right now?  It's already doing what Lighenting Network promises right now!  Imagine once the major exchanges have it, it'll be the standard way to transfer value from one exchange to another, instantaneously and without fees.   I think this gives it the greatest potential for real world adoption in crypto once there is a mobile wallet that connects to a remote node.

It has some issues like the desktop wallet has trouble syncing and you have work around that.  There are also open questions about how it would handle spam transactions.  But it's amazing that RaiBlocks has jumped into the top 50 without shilling and hype and only available in 2 tiny exchanges.  When this hits a major exchange or two this will be a top 10 crypto.  With further development and better UI clients/mobile client and some marketing, Raiblocks could be a challenger to the throne.

Also one of the great things about XRB is that it was fairly distributed.  A lot of people earned their Rai solving captcha.  It seems there were Venezuelans doing this and it's great that the meteoric rise in value is going to some who acquired them.

I usually don't get excited about alts because almost every single alt is hype, a scam or not a working product.  But having a crytpo provides utility and does a single thing like magic has gotten me excited.
I bought into this coin believing in the technology when it was not listed in Binance. Sadly I got cheated because now my funds are locked up in the bitgrail scan Sad
904  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TAY] Taylor - Smart Crypto Trading Assistant | ICO | Token Sale on: March 01, 2018, 07:48:59 AM
Great
905  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is a million dollars possible? on: February 27, 2018, 05:21:58 PM
Yes its possible to get 2 million dollars. You can even get them from sweepstakes. Well if your lucky.
Hahahha..you are right anything is possible now but the difference is that sweepstake is pure luck but crypto is new relatively and majority of the investors are still scared to get into the cryotos because of fear of unknown like loosing the funds, getting hacked , no knowledge of how to use wallets or how to send transactions. When wide spread adaption starts the coins which have use case and partnerships will flourish and that's when the altcoins which you researched will make you rich, may not be millionaire but still rich
906  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC - Passports and documents for sale on Dark Web on: February 27, 2018, 05:15:38 PM
That's very sad to hear.I hope mine isn't out there Sad .Between if anyone can tell me how to check if my info is available on dark wen it would be helpful, although I am afraid if I would give my identity while trying to search for it in dark web (confused  Huh)
Not just ICO's now even some bounties are asking for KYC's Sad
907  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Suggest the most promising ICOs/new altcoins (Merit for best answers). on: February 27, 2018, 05:06:50 PM
So, I've just read through the Ethereum, DASH and NEO whitepapers, and I'm astounded at how obvious it is that these currencies would succeed, I wish I had read these when they were announced. Now, I'm looking for some NEW ICOs or altcoins that are either in development now, or have just been released (within the last 6-12 months maximum).

I would like you to suggest your favourite up and coming ICOs and/or altcoins, and explain why you think they are going to be the next big thing. I will be meriting the best answers, and if your answer is truly outstanding I will tell others about it, resulting in more merit for you.

1.Apollo 18 is a new ICO in it's infancy which is for mining and has a dividend sharing scheme
2.Dragon - massive market by building a casino in Macau. The Chinese will be using this to bypass the government rules and it has already raised 350 million by private investors https://tokensale.drgtoken.io
3.DAV - Their team is absolutely awesome and if they implement their idea it will be huge https://dav.network/
908  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ripple XRP - 10$ THIS YEAR! on: February 27, 2018, 05:01:39 PM
I very much hope this happens , although I realistically expect it to happen at the end of 2019. It might happen sooner if most of the clients of ripple start using the xRapid technology and there is a coin burn
909  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you watch the price of your altcoin everyday? on: February 27, 2018, 04:59:16 PM
I have to say I am a bit matured now and I have stopped looking at the price every now and then but I do look at it at least once every day. It's not bad to have a look unless you get overly paranoid
910  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Hidden Gems For 100x 2018 on: February 27, 2018, 04:28:21 PM
Marinecoin is a huge hidden gem. It can easily be implemented into production environments or any web-based application. It is used by verified individuals and developers and you can be certain it will rise to the top 10 on Coinmarketcap by 2020, infact it was number one on coinmarketcap in 2014. 450,000 MTC will be airdropped to 20,000 community members in a 100% airdrop. You can join at https://marineco.in/ico

Cheesy ...Come on man, the airdrop sounds cool and all but you must not understand how this world works.  You should tell us how/why the coin got delisted in 2015, and why it needed to be "reborn" this year.

There is no whitepaper (I couldn't find it), and I couldn't find any info about the specifics of the consensus mechanism or the block times/rewards.  This coin will be crushed by the top AI/IoT projects with ease.
Lol.There was too much shilling of this marine coin this past week and just after seeing your post I got to know it got delisted in 2015.Not gonna look into it further, maybe I will look at AIRDROP
911  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BCPT AIRDROP on: February 27, 2018, 04:24:42 PM
I was looking into both kucoin shares as well as binance shares . they we're 20 cents and 2 dollars respectively.I was reading about the ROI on those coins for too long and before I could pull the plug they mooned  Cry
912  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When Will Ethereum reach 1200 again? on: February 26, 2018, 03:59:21 PM
just wondering when Will Ethereum reach 1200 again? Is there any upcoming news about ETH that might lead to price growth?
I don't hold any Ethereum but I hope for the  good of crypto community that it does
913  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Rewards: Sell immediately or HODL? on: February 26, 2018, 03:58:21 PM
I am making like a kind of rule for myself. What I will be doing is that I will sell 50 percent of my bounty which I received and will convert them into projects which I believe in.
The rest I will hold it just in base some project makes it big
914  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the most important part of an ICO? on: February 26, 2018, 03:55:55 PM
There are a lot of ICOs going around right now and most are considered scams. People around the globe have put out some legit points to check if any ICO is legit or not.
Now the thing is, scammers have equal access to content and have made the necessary arrangements to overlook such mistakes, and also I believe that more than ICOs being scammy, it is just them failing to reach their roadmap. That is like most of the startups failing halfway through.

I think the most important aspect to check is for a dedicated team more than anything else. Obviously, it is hard to judge but more than anything else, it is what drives an ICO to its success.

I am open to opinions and would love to know if anything else is as important.
The most important thing is the legitimacy of the team and their experience in the relevant field. Also cross check their linked in profile to make sure that they are actually associated with the project.
915  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PETRO (PTR) The crypto-asset of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela on: February 26, 2018, 03:54:19 PM
I don't know if it's good that a nation had made a official crypto currency backed by petrol or if it's bad that the country b which has done in is in a grand financial condition. What do you think guys ?
916  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Over 90% of ICOs are a scam on: February 26, 2018, 03:44:53 PM
The founder of ETHEREUM said that over 90% of ICOs are scams. By participating in an ICO, you give your money to a project that probably will never happen. Every day a new ICO comes out ... but what surprises me is that many people invest their savings in these very high risk projects. I think it is much better to invest in real projects already listed on the stock exchange .... of which you know everything well ... For example, BANKERA looks like an ICO scam .....
I wouldn't say 90 percent of ICO are scam but most of the Ico will fail either because of competition or because of the team not being able to execute their idea .So be careful in selecting the ico
917  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin bleeding. When does it stop on: February 23, 2018, 06:16:06 AM
I pity you if this so-called altcoin bleeding is already bad for you. 2014 was the worst, most members here have stopped posting, the volume in the markets have dwindled to an average of $200 per 24 hours per coin. Lackluster coin launches only attracting the pump and dump groups. Back then, you fear that crypto was a fad and slowly dying.

Now? Many of you newbies are making the markets expand. What I see is a distribution phase in the markets where the earlier adopters/holders are distributing coins to you newbies.

After this distribution, the markets will achieve equilibrium and may experience some price ranging or sideways movement and then a new trend will form, possibly 80% chance of continuing the bull market.
Wow 2014 looks scary based on what you say.I wasn't into crypto that time although I badly wish I was Sad ..What I don't understand is why do all altcoins bleed when eth ort btc goes down?
I get that it maybe because most exchanges use these coins for buying altcoins, but even many established coins start going down when btc goes down . Why is that, is it just because of sentiment?
918  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Never invest no product ICOs on: February 23, 2018, 06:09:34 AM
I was wondering, why a lot of projects don't have such an important thing for a successful ICO as a product.

When a company has a product it means they have it to develop. In such case, a company shows why they need ICO and how the company will be growing. What is more, there is more trust because a company has experience in a field they are working.

For example, KickCity company that exists two years. KickCity an event platform that generates revenue and has a Helsinki government grant. KickCity needs ICO to make business bigger and to become a decentralized platform where every user is rewarded for ticket promotion.

On the other hand, no product ICOs can prove their success just in theory. There is no proof base that product will be developed and will be working right.

In such unstable industry as ICO everything has to be under control. The product is one of the things that shows the campaign is not a scam. That is why I believe it is better to invest in ready-made products ICOs.
It's not as simple as that.I get what you are trying to say.Crypto currencies are a risky entity in itself and ICO's are even more risky because they can be scams .But what you need to do is are you willing to take a big risk for potential bigger profits?
There will be always heavy competition for "established" ICO's which have working product , so you need to spot a Ico with a good team, sound idea . Yes you're talking a risk , the team may never be able to make it or might be possible that a competitor takes over, but the potential rewards can be huge as well.

Example : Eth,Neo
919  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Invest in ICO or buy BTC? on: February 23, 2018, 06:03:06 AM
I am a newcomer to the crypto market.
Should I invest in ICO projects or would I buy bitcoin to hold and wait for the price? Please give me advice.
Sincerely thank you.
It depends on what kind of returns you're looking for.Ask yourself the following questions
1.Am I okay to lose what I am investing?
2.Howuch percentage of money do I want to play relatively safe ?
3.How much ROI am I looking for ?
4.How much time am I willing to spend on research?

If you're after high returns in a short time and okay to lose the money , then research promising ICO's and invest in them
If you want safe returns , then go for btc or eth

Thanks
920  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What's your thoughts on Havven? on: February 23, 2018, 05:56:17 AM
The ICO looks good but they raised their ask by $15M once they started to get hyped. It looked a bit greedy which kind of turned me off. But regardless it has huge potential.
Aah the old greediness taking over the team. I really b don't b like to see this in a project no matter how good their idea this Anyway I will have a look at the whitepaper and see
