Yes there are plenty of shitcoins Not all altcoins are shit .Infact there are so many potential game changers in altcoins and not all people can buy Bitcoin. |

I think that in 2019 ICO will be still alive, ICO investors will be smarter and only join good ICO. No more lands for bad and scam ICO. 2018 is not a good year for investors because most of token dumped below ICO price. Do you think 2019 is a good year for ICO and all tokens pump after ICO like it was in 2017?
The ico will be definitely Alice in 2019 but the number of ico will drastically reduce and along with it the VC firms will again take over majority of the investment I believe |

Hi,
the altocoin market is so variuous and there are dozen of interesting projects that can be supported.
But i'm a little investor (500$) and i'm seriously thinking to put all my money in only 1 project I think is very good which curretly is in the top 40 of altcoins. I don't want to say the name because my topic wants to be very general: what do you think is the risk by doing so? Should I invest in 2 or 3 coins instead?

There is no point in worrying g about altcoins separately.All the altcoins including ethereum depends on the process of Bitcoin now.Hopefully the decoupling happens soon in the future .

Usually coins started their listing as soon as possible after the ico but now that the market is in a very bad state the ideal.tkme would be to develop at least a prototype product and then list it with the news .

For a few days now I have noticed a sustained momentum by Bitcoin. It was initially 65000, 6600 and its now 6700. Are we about to witness an upward surge that will eventually bring about market recovery?
The trend in the current market seems that Bitcoin is obtaining a good consolidation around 6400 to 6500 dollars. I think we need to wait for a major bull run to see it close to 7k |

The best way to go is split it into two or three leading coins and split it over the course of months to do dollar cost averaging.This way you can minimise the losses if the market goes down. |

Heh... It's really Baidu but Tron's 'partnership' isn't really that big of a big deal. It's just some deal that Baidu will provide cloud computing resources for the Tron Foundation, kinda like what QTUM and Amazon did.
I take.your word that the deal is only for use of cloud resources.It maynot be much but at least it goes to show that Sunhas connections and it might take him some places . |

You can generalise that all the altcoins will last for ever.But you have to pickup the domain in which blockchain will be of value and the ecosystem is designed in a such a way that the coin will be of use.

I was really optimistic that this will happen about 3 months back but as the days pass by it looks nearly impossible that we reach 500 let alone 1000.Only a major break by whales can make it happen .

i can understand how you are feeling if you actually held 700k and lost out on the profits .But crypto won't end as such it will continue to exist but Majority of projects which exist now maynot be in the future . |
