It's surprising that this coin afloat despite the huge premine**.

Apparently a lot Dutchmen remember the good old Nederlandse gulden (officially until 1999) and do not know what crypto currency must be transparent and honest  Wink

Or, despite the huge premine and still afloat, this says something about Gulden in general...  Wink

Ok, how about Electronic Gulden? it is also a coin from the same developers?
But it looks like a clone with the same name and same premine  Cool

Just curious who was born the first Smiley

904  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] HYPER ~ Game Currency ~ ON CNBC ~ Twitch.tv ~ ShapeShift.io ~RPG + More! on: December 16, 2015, 08:12:56 AM
It's obvious that Hyper is not a pump and dump to anyone who has followed this coin. There has been a tremendous amount of work done to make Hyper a successful project. IMO Justin Giefer and David Seaman are stand up guys and we will hear some encouraging news soon. The Hyper community will endure.

We're now down to 3400 satoshi (almost 10% of what it was 2 months ago). The price is dropping FAST compared to the monthly interest rate. The question is whether or not it's going to go back up to where it was. It's hard to decide if this is a good time to buy in or if it's going to be like WDC (who, years later, is still almost worthless, despite weekly news).

You're  wrong believe that WDC is empty coin.
It will take a little time, and the price will rise.
WDC has the potential to replace the LTC in the future.
But at the expense Hyper I give a poor prognosis. it is obvious that this unlimited coin is a dinosaurs crypto market.
Why buy this coin if number coins in the system will continue to increase?
Developers  also easier to create a new empty coin and re-run a PR company that would sell the new coins (for example HyperPups coin  Cheesy ) for hamsters  Wink

andromed22

as it seems to me this issue has already been discussed, and the one who wanted already spoke on this occasion.
We came to the conclusion that it is necessary and useful for development DMD.

I wonder where you can see the statistics of the vote how many people voted for and how many against?

Let's not argue about it.
The auction has already started.
Anyone who wants to participate - welcome.
Here, nobody is forced to buy anything.

info dmd multipool / dmd cloudmining
as long as bittrex sellorders stay over 10% below cryptsy sellorderprices
i will run manual conversions towards dmd utilize bittrex

Thanks! That's going above and beyond, and it's much appreciated Smiley
change automated conversion rounds will need longer
need to adapt all api calls first

different exchanges uses different api

round i run manual will show less statistics
basical i start a automated round but stop it before send btc to cryptsy
instead send manual bittrex and convert to dmd
the activate automated round again in state waiting for dmd arrive and then split

so for all the skipped steps there will be no databse entries and visible statistics in exchange rounds

Excellent, it's time to build an automated system of purchases in bittrex.
If cryptsy restored, you will have a choice of where to buy DMD for multipool.

Hello,

I am very late to jump onboard with DMD, but I managed to grab a few with the little I have to work with. I have everything set, and trying to stake. Explain why the wallet says I am staking but will be waiting for 271 days? And, it is all synced, etc. Wow...long time to go for me. LOL

Thanks,

CapnBDL
     Cool

Yes, than the smaller coins in your wallet then longer you wait the POS award.
But your wallet shows  only the approximate  time to find block.
This does not mean that after 271 days, you get the first POS income..

Someone said recently he did not see a single site with games for the Diamond.

Look at  here.  http://infodiamond.000space.com  Smiley

BoostCoin very popular coin in the exchanger btc38?
I wonder how such love for this coin at speculators. This coin was issued specifically for the Chinese market?

In the English word Boost goods combines well with the word Dust  Cheesy

And how many coins to be in your Boost systems? it's another unlimited POS coin?
909  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: December 10, 2015, 12:48:44 PM
altcoin investments is too much risky, they lose value in a short period of time, take diamond it was at 200k satoshi not a long time ago not under 80k satoshi

they look more and mroe like bank bonds, those that are utterly unsecure, and with huge variance

It is also risky, as and invest in antiques with expensive objects of art?  Cheesy

I think investing in Bitcoin at present for this price is much more dangerous.
Investing in rare coins with a small number of coins in the system is less risky than investing in shares that prints any governmental organization.

i can't see how bitcoin is more unsecure than any altcoin, every alt aside from litecoin, that was in top 10, it's now in the trash can forgotten

the other that are holding still strong are doge and peercoin, the remaining have lost a big portion of their value, and most likely they will not recover

on the other hand bitcoin is recovering nicely, i believe that when bitcoin will be adopted more the other alt will all die in no time

In the world there are many different currencies. among them there are strengths and weaknesses.
There is little known and popular currencies in the world market.
The same will happen with alt coins, but after a rigorous selection.
Garbage coin just die. I do not think that Bitcoin to be a most popular crypto currency in a few years.
Already, the problem starts with the Bitcoin transactions (they are too slow and their number is limited - only 7 transactions per second)
So do not blindly believe in the only single btc  Cool

911  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] WorldCoin WDC | The Global Digital Currency on: December 09, 2015, 11:11:04 AM
Is there anything exciting in worldcoin atm?

1] New wallet with new framework, completely different of anything you saw in crypto
Check screenshot (more screen shots on previews pages)
https://i.imgur.com/bRcEM2e.jpg

The new wallet has new architecture, every component is a script so people and companies can develop their own easily. Check http://worldcoin.global/so-you-want-to-dance-with-the-hippo-part-ii-about-basic-dancing-techniques/ for more details, in that blog we build a new component that retrieves the last transactions from the wallet, converts them to american dollars and calculates the VAT according to a predefined parameter. Also we want to refresh automatically the transaction list whenever the exchange rate changes, all this in 70 lines of scripted code

Theme engine, resolution independent, scaling, auto update tool (makes a backup automatically) and many other firsts. Also the new framework will allow us to  release very frequently, making the wallet progress very fast.

Please check http://worldcoin.global/wbc-2-0-1-cha-cha-cha-hippo-released   (click in README_PLEASE link) for more detailed information

2] First WDC ATM was launched this week in Slovakia
Check  http://worldcoin.global/world-first-wdc-atm-bitxatm-by-cryptodiggers/ for photos and video. Pretty cool!

As you see we have many cool things to show (and many more in the pipeline). The challenge now is to make people know about us (again), which will take some time but we will get there

[/quote]

Excellent work!
Continue to move forward.
I'm sure that in the future Worldcoin will replace the LTC  Wink

For instant payment and fast shopping WDC is the best solution for the business.

Have any plan to launch Android Wallet for Diamond  ?

Yes, plans are and I think we will see in 2016  Cool

89k DMD till the next block halving. It moves even faster then I expected.

About how long until it halves do you think?

Another question that isn't related.

The Mac Wallet is version 2.5.5 and the Windows wallet is 2.5.7.  What are the differences?  Does the Mac Wallet still work fine?  Any plans to update that wallet to 2.5.7?

Thanks!

I asked a similar question on Reddit:

https://www.reddit.com/r/dmd/comments/3vuwfl/mac_osx_wallet/

Yeah, that is why I asked it here.  I thought it was a good question so instead of finding out the answer with a PM; I thought it would be good for everyone on here to know the answer.

Please read this https://bit.diamonds/community/index.php/topic,9.msg703.html#msg703 there are  the answers on the your question.

We are waiting for the start of the auction.
It will be interesting event, which will promote the Diamond to the next level ahead.
It's like you can to take part in the sale of the collection of famous paintings or expensive items of art.
Each purchased Diamond adress will go down in history.
This in itself is important.

What's the difference between DMD Evolution and DASH Evolution?

https://www.dash.org/evolution/
https://www.dash.org/binaries/evo/DashPaper-v13-v1.pdf
https://dashtalk.org/threads/announcing-dash-evolution-open-sourcing-highlights-from-the-conference.7243/

Are they related, or did DASH just steal the name like they stole Dashcoin's?

It have to be very stupid to try to steal or get the name of the DASH.
The name Dash for coin, It sounds like the name  uneducated women (in  the Russian village)  Cheesy
Probably the same uneducated people are  investors in this coin.
Any crypto currency is anonymous, if course you know how to use it

cryptsy did refill their hotwallet moved 5k from coldwallet towards it
withdraws working again without issue
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/dmd/address.dws?94031.htm
im still wondering who have 50k wasting POS earnings lay around on cryptsy and fill their coldwallet

if u like to trade there with 1k or 2k i could understand

but 50k?

anyway everyone is responsible himself about what he do with coins

i just want to remind that 1000 DMD generate 10 DMD each week as POS income!

I think that these 50k coins belong to someone from the administration cryptsy.
Otherwise, no one in his right mind would keep such a sum on the exchange whose reputation lately  in question ..
917  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with your idle coins? on: December 06, 2015, 09:45:59 AM
PoS coins, DMD and CLAM, highly recommended.

they lose value quite fast(diamond last time i checked was 200k now below 100), so i would not really recommend them, and in the best case you would earn few pennies

not worth the effort

I wonder where you saw that the Diamond loses its capitalization? especially digits 200k

it was 200k not long time ago on cryptsy, talking about mere price, then 86k now 76k, how can you trust such volatility....

we have already the problem of this with bitcoin, no need to increase it with other altcoin

p.s. i'm talking about value in bitcoin, not $, 200k satoshi, 86k satoshi etc...

Well, everyone decides for himself what to do with their money.

Interesting topic.
Indeed, I have seen as many users bought heaps LTC and sit with them, instead of what would have to use their investments more wisely.
But I'm sure that soon will change on this market and opinion  the investors will also vary.
So who is closely monitoring this crypto market, has all chances to become a wealthy man  Wink
920  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EAC] EarthCoin - EAC v1.3.2 Now Available! on: December 06, 2015, 07:38:11 AM
BTC38 opened EAC/CNY yesterday, It's the only one 0 fee coin in BTC38 Grin, Other coins is 0.1% fee.

That is, all the time they bought the EarthCoin at the lowest price and now want to organize a pump?

No, Because before they announced opend EAC/CNY two days ago. BTC38 still refused to open EAC/CNY. Many Chinese peoples asked again and again. They have to agreed to open EAC/CNY.

Yes, it really looks as the game of puppeteer..
