41  Economy / Services / Re: Telegram sticker in vector on: December 08, 2020, 07:49:04 AM
I think he will customize a sticker pack for your specific project made with your logo etc. Not the vector of the actual app. lol
Completely missed "sticker", in my mind I had vector logo  Grin

Sorry for any inconvenience OP.
42  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Eng: Tutorial] PGP Signature - Encrypt/Decrypt message - Fingerprint on: December 07, 2020, 10:03:06 AM
Maybe a small update in the op about errors from https://sks-keyservers.net and alternative servers to use wouldn't be a bad idea.
I will absolutely do that. I was not active on the forum since I left last year so I had no idea that this topic still had demand. Now since I am back I will start looking at the topics I left and will start updating them. Still I am trying to find the habit I had before, to be online most of the time of the day and have things to say in almost all the topics  Grin

With a very quick google search I have this: https://seeklogo.com/vector-logo/256226/telegram

All service charge will be discussed.
You need to come up with something better  Grin

Edit:
Completely missed "sticker", in my mind I had vector logo  Grin

Sorry for any inconvenience OP.
44  Economy / Reputation / Re: Bossian Reputation Thread on: December 06, 2020, 07:31:24 PM
Sadly it lost.
Is this a kind of game and gambling? Then HTF (how the fcuk) you think you were going to win  Grin

But WTF it was fun.
At least you got something and consider you money was the payment for it.
45  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Eng: Tutorial] PGP Signature - Encrypt/Decrypt message - Fingerprint on: December 06, 2020, 07:27:32 PM
Yes, I solved it Smiley
Good!
This interest me, what was you missing in the first place?
46  Economy / Reputation / Re: rdbase = The next TYM and asu on: December 06, 2020, 07:20:50 PM
Welcome back.
Missing the target here.
Thanks mate. It's been long time. I hope everything is well with you.

This is an awareness post. His feedback scoring actually attract my attention and then I have done this DYOR and it surprised me to see for only less than $1k how one can build up a nice feedback scoring. The recent discovery of TYM scamming loan and asu scamming loan struck me too. This post inspired by those incidents.

I've only left 1 feedback, but we have had several trades/loans.
Your feedback is the only one so far has over $100 USD transaction but look at other feedback, some of them are even for $12. This is not a good use of feedback leaving.
47  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Eng: Tutorial] PGP Signature - Encrypt/Decrypt message - Fingerprint on: December 06, 2020, 07:07:53 PM
A bit surprise to see the discussion still going on. Thank you Husna QA to keep posting on behalf of me when I was not active in the forum.

@LoyceV, I am not clear if you were able to solve your problem yet, this did not give me a clear idea of your struggling.

But wait, if I certify for everyone instead of just myself, it works!
Did you have your own PGP private key imported? I hope you did not import your public key instead of thinking that you are importing your private key.

It's not that hard. Let's start over.

1. You will need to have your private key imported first of all.

Do you see yours in bold? If not bold then you have imported your public key and this is the reason it's not working.

2. You will need to import the public key of the message senders, this will ask your password so have it with you.
And this is the PGP public key:

3. Copy the message and from the try verify it.

Only three times you are interacting with the software. This is not too hard  Smiley

This is the error I get
This is where it was discussed. Credit to Husna QA. I also just noticed that the server in my initial post is down.
48  Economy / Reputation / Re: Bossian Reputation Thread on: December 05, 2020, 11:13:29 AM
An example has been set. Bossian deserves the full credit. Congratulations LFC_Bitcoin. $951.90 at current rate is a lot of money to have a unforgettable Christmas  Grin

If it wins I will send him 1.0 btc
Hope you win and he gets this BTC. If this really happens then this will be an event that I will proudly speak to others around me.
49  Economy / Reputation / rdbase = The next TYM and asu on: December 05, 2020, 09:39:14 AM
Is rdbase trying to build up some quick reputation and become the next TYM and asu?

Account created on September 06, 2014, 12:04:08 AM and...

First feedback has been received on 2017-09-29 from winter reference: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1118436.0
Tread amount $10.00 - $15.00 BTC I guess.

Second feedback from TECSHARE on 2018-08-24 without any reference.

Sold me some cards. All went well.
Amount unknown but I assume it will not gonna be much. Keep reading and you will find why I said so.

Let's ignore the numerical order, it's hassling. So,

Feedback from y3804 on 2019-03-06, amount ~25USD, reference : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5117235

Feedback from Thecryptofan911 on 2019-07-02, no reference so no amount but judging at the above two transaction history this could be a small one too.

Feedback from md97 on 2020-01-15, there is a reference but it does not clear how much the amount was. Notice the trader was a newbie and his forum time was only one month  Tongue January 05, 2020, 07:49:46 PM - Last Active: February 05, 2020, 10:22:43 PM

Feedback from yasirmagtal on 2020-02-23 without any reference and the user was a newbie.

Happy to deal with

The above were untrusted feedback now let's come to trusted feedback

Two feedback from DT member Devawnm367 on 2019-01-21 and 2019-01-31 for amounts of .016 btc for 56$ usd and paypal for btc $60

Two feedback from DT member dozerz on 2019-03-14 and 2019-03-19. No reference but by judging on the amount so far listed this is not going to be more then $100.

Add another feedback from DT member Devawnm367 on 2019-05-18 but no reference but it mentions .03767 BTC first and if .016 btc for 56$ was only few months ago then .03767 BTC should be $131.85

One feedback left by OmegaStarScream on 2019-05-26 for 100$~ transaction

One feedback from Csmiami on 2019-06-16 for only 0.001B at a total of $12 I guess

One feedback left by Steamtyme on 2019-12-24 for ~300 CAD and this one looks a decent feedback so far.

One feedback from Royse777 on 2019-12-24, no reference but it seems he is a constant borrower. Not sure about the amount but judging from the amount he deals is not going to be much.

One feedback left from Harkorede on 2020-02-12 reference to host 0.01 BTC stake event. How could a user who live on loan even host such thing. BTC price was not much at that time I think.

One feedback from Lesbian Cow on 2020-02-13, about winning some item and paid. Not sure the amount.

One feedback from bullrun2020bro on 2020-05-28, $50 worth of amazon gift card.

One neutral feedback from Royse777 on 2020-09-10 about active loan. Amount unknown.

Let's calculate the total publicly available amount: $15.00 + $25.00 + $56.00 + $60.00 + $131.85 + $100.00 + $12.00 +  $234.67 (~300 CAD) + $92.80 (0.01 BTC at $9280 rate) + $50.00 = $777.32

My points:
1. An account from 2014, from 2014 to 2018 no significant trust or dealing history but from 2019 the account started to become a serious trust scorer.

2. Most of the feedback were left only for the amount which worth buying only peanuts.

3. Constantly seeking loan and even have an active loan. Loan repayment = Positive feedback.

4. Notice for only $777.32 publicly calculated deal his trust score shows

5. It seems he is hunting for easy feedback and pretty successful in it.

Obviously this user was thinking it's time to build up a good reputation and he started doing this small deals and building up a rep. At some point if he turns out to be TYM or asu then no surprise. Hack this could be even a bought account by judging at the trade habit before 2019 and after 2019.

I would not trust this account for more than $100.

With Bitcoin back in the news, I thought it might be nice to bump this thread and give the new eyes an opportunity to take a look at some meaningful bitcointalk history.

As it's been a couple years, do you think any more "CLASSIC" Bitcoin threads have been started?
I had a long gap and still chasing a lot of topics, incidents to bring myself up to date.

My discovery which could consider to be added are as topic if you like to:

52  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin.com and its verify message for bitcoin. Is it trusted? on: December 05, 2020, 07:04:33 AM
I only found they have a tool to verify bitcoin message. Should I use their tool to verify bitcoin message? Are they set up any traps on their site and with that tool?
This is just a tool so I do not think there is anything you need to be worried about if you are using it just to verify a message. You are not giving them your private key to do that. So you are safe.

About the domain name and the shameless way to use the name of bitcoin:
Roger Ver has no moral. This entire domain is a business for him. He wants new investors to make mistake and buy his BCH. There are number of claims around where users were complaining that they thought they were buying BTC but they bough BCH. It's just a business tactics for Ver with very low moral.

The sad part that we can not do anything about it since the domain bitcoin.com authority may not consider it as scam. I am not sure if anyone can file a lawsuit against it though.

They disagreed with what Bitcoin did in the past. Why would they move their site off the domain? They ain't stupid.
No they ain't stupid but it's not about being stupid it's about practising right thing, being in the right mind. In Ver's mind his BCH is Bitcoin, so obviously he is still is not in his right mind LOL
53  Economy / Reputation / Re: Re-join and hello to all! on: December 03, 2020, 08:35:47 AM
Welcome back mday!

You used to be a helpful poster, at least from what my poop brain can recall, and the forum could definitely use helpful ones. I know you also got into some drama here, and fuckall things happen. But that is okay, sometimes people make mistakes. People deserve second chances.

Now that you're back, don't fuck things up this time and stick around!

Thanks mate. Some good words are giving me goosebumps  Grin

I admit offering to hold 20 BTC was a mistake and that's a major one I had besides some other minor mistakes wrong move in life like promoting ponzi in the past (when I was not even a part of the community and I can not change it, it's done. I am not proud of such things anymore). I never felt that those drama (ALT drama) I deserved but it's past now. We all learn from the experience.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Exchange TBC to BTC on www.tbcexchangebtc.com on: December 03, 2020, 08:25:11 AM
No need to wait. Negative left on the trust page.
55  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for a $300 USDT, ETH or BTC Loan on: December 03, 2020, 08:19:21 AM
Good luck to you I used to have lending service but I could not run my service anymore because of scammers scamming me. Sorry to hear that Direwolfs also closed his service. It's hard to run a lending business in the forum. Those of us who lose know how it feels.

Plus all of my buy and sell TRUST HISTORY!
This trust history means nothing to me and I am sure for lot's of other lenders too who had their bitter experience. This kind of trust history ruined me over 0.5 BTC all together and in the recent time Direwolfs also lost over 0.5 BTC (TYM and asu are the biggest chunk).

Assuring is that you are not asking much like 0.1 BTC or more at this current price it could be around $1.9K+
56  Other / Meta / Re: 4 posts deleted - THANKYOU ??? on: December 01, 2020, 08:40:03 AM
My guess is this:
1. No zero or low value, pointless or uninteresting posts or threads. [1][e]
The context seems relevant so we can not tell it off-topic or low value posts. The examples were given are:

1. Such posts as "SELL SELL SELL", "I agree", "+1", "Support", "Watching", "Interesting", "LOL", "SCAM", "LEGIT", "FAKE", other one word posts, posts consisting mostly of swearing, quote pyramids, useless introduction threads, threads about a topic already recently discussed in several other threads.

All of these should consider spam if there are not enough thoughts and not relevant to the context.
57  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does the RSI change based on future events? on: December 01, 2020, 08:20:54 AM
Hello jackg!
You already had few answers so hopefully you have some idea so far. In addition I would like to say that there are four types of indicators:

1. Trend indicators
2. Momentum indicators
3. Volume indicators
4. Volatility indicators

In one line, RSI is a Momentum indicator.

With the past movement of the price you can have some idea of the strength of the next move but you will not get it 100% correct and even will not find any clue unless you combine any other indicators in a meaningful way.
58  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Loan Default - asu u=519783 on: December 01, 2020, 07:45:49 AM
I was not aware of how the flag system works and now I have a decent idea. Flag supported.

There are still four positive feedback on DT view on the profile from Russlenat, GreatArkansas, inthelongrun and dozerz. These users should revise their feedback after the incident. Obviously a loan scammer does not deserve to have any positive feedback from DT.

59  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Noticed something and want to share. on: December 01, 2020, 07:33:42 AM
Old members suggestions will help all of new members.
Be you.
Find a niche which interest you and hang up there. Share your knowledge about the nice with others and seek more. Everyday you will learn new things I promise.
Do not make boring posts just to grab merits, this will make you look like a merit seeker.
Always make constructive posts, have thoughts in your post. Don't just post something which has nothing to do with the topic or just to increase your post count.
Most of all, stay engaged, treat this forum as a place for you to hangup.

Protip: Do not expose your true identity, do not link any of your social media, stay anonymous.
60  Economy / Reputation / Re: DT1 and DT2 members who have negative feedback (or are banned) on: November 30, 2020, 06:35:02 PM
MinerJones should be distrusted by everyone right now because he's clearly trying to use the trust system to extort staff to get his own way. Is that what the system is for? No.
Not surprise to see the ironic behaviour coming from you.
Yes minerjones should not use the feedback this way but what have you done?

You left a feedback because you consider him to abuse the feedback system. This is not much better than what minerjones has done in fact this is the worse practice and this is not first time I've noticed too.

If you think minerjones should be distrusted for the feedback he left on you then you should be distrusted too for the similar reason in fact yours one is more blatant, more abusive and shameful. This feedback shows that you have zero basic about the feedback system currently the forum has. You do not leave a feedback for a wrong feedback but distrust a user if you think he gone too far.

This is not any better too but I did not follow malevolent as much as I did for you.

Now I would not surprise if you spend your days to find some connections with some other account or accounts to humiliate minerjones. You will closely observe how he spend his merits and once you will find him to send a merit to that account you are suspecting to be his alt, you will create a topic with some strawman arguments, reference like (minerjones calls me a gay, and this user also calls me a gay; minerjones is active in x board, and this user is active in the same board; minerjones lives in this country and this user lives in this country too; and so many made up connections that only your creative imagination can produce such things). Sadly others will find every BS that will come from you are convincing and they will start making fun of minerjones. It will not be as easy as it was on me but eventually maybe you will find a way to get people behind you. This is how you done your things to find sensation.

Take it or leave it, stop finding problems in others while you are no good than them.
