1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Promising ICO Today on: August 08, 2018, 01:17:26 AM
I suggest looking into OPP and MENLO, they have both good potentials. The team behind them is very active especially on telegram, plus the number of supporters they have is huge which I think the main factor to consider in terms having a successful ICO.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Current ICO's rating systems. What do you think? on: July 20, 2018, 09:54:12 AM
What do you guys think of the current ICO's rating system? Are you satisfied/happy? Do you think it reflects the real projects value? Does it help you to find right ICO's to invest to? What do you think about experts (even very well known ones) who provide corrupted ratings?
There are way too many questions. Let's discuss)

They serve as a starting place for any investor, the problem is that people easily believe on things they see and didn't bother to do an extensive research and that's why they fail. All I know, rating sites are flawed, corrupted and should not be trusted. Anyway, have any of you came across with menlo.one? They plan to be a review platform with a guild community system.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Where I'm looking for cool ICO on: July 20, 2018, 09:45:26 AM
I think the current ICO rating sites right now are corrupted and flawed, with the right price you can buy a good review from them. I hope the menlo project will be implemented soon enough, their guild based system will surely scrape and remove fake ICO's on the market right now.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The biggest problem of altcoins on: June 18, 2018, 06:29:17 AM
I think the biggest problem right now is the increasing number of fake coins and ICO's and if that can't be controlled we would be seeing a dying economy of altcoins. We need more security tokens right now or platforms that can secure us from these fraud ICO, something like menlo.one a platform that will serve as a filter to fake and good ICOs.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you picky with ICOs? on: June 15, 2018, 01:31:36 PM
To all old members here what are the red flags to consider on a shady ICO? I'm just wondering, I've come across this site www.menlo.one and they seem legit. Their concept is great and I'm planning to join their Pre-sale. I wonder if there's a way to tell if its legit or not.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / A Guild based system by an ICO???? on: June 13, 2018, 06:05:25 AM
Hello guys, I've come across with this website. www.menlo.one

Everything seems usual, but what caught my attention is their guild based system, they so called "Expert Guild Network". Can this really be a good thing for new upcoming ICO's?

And could this system work?
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Altcoin is the best way of investment now? on: April 07, 2018, 09:04:48 AM
Now Altcoin is the best way to invest your money?

Not all alts are worth investing, keep that in your mind.

You got some point, compared to BTC the profit if it shoots to the moon is big, but as I said above some of the alts are just hyped so be careful on choosing the right one to invest with.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is everyone just HODLing? on: April 07, 2018, 04:30:59 AM
Hi Forum
I would like to know what real value you think HODLing adds. What is the point of just holding bitcoin till moon and lambo ? This is cryptocurrency, why aren't we using this as currency? If we all just hold then this whole thing takes on a completely different business model, we lose all real value that it has as currency and it just becomes a full on speculative bubble.

Bitcoin and other currencies have no value if nobody uses them. So I would like to encourage everyone to spend and replace instead of just blindly holding. We won't see merchant adoption skyrocketing if nobody buys stuff with bitcoin. And yes I know it can go up in value, but why not just spend your BTC and EFT some fiat over to your local exchange and replace the BTC you spent ?
If any businesses accept BTC or other currencies it is our duty to support them extra for it and use cryptocurrency.

Actually people were not holding, they are slowly cashing out for the past few months. Just look how the total market cap of cryptocurrency have dropped, from $800B last year it is now down to just $250B more or less.

*I do understand your rant, but you cannot force people specially if they have bought BTC when it was at high. What do you want from them just accept their loss?
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why altcoin is better than bitcoin? on: April 03, 2018, 03:01:44 AM
Although Bitcoin has taken up 40% the coin market. But is it more worthy to invest in bitcoin? Since bitcoin can never replace the paper currency for the moment due to many complicated reasons, and most bitcoins are already acquired by a small sum of people. So if a kind of currency can't be circulated, what's the meaning of that coin. When it comes to ICO, and the release of altcoin, it means that you are investing in a company, you are holding equity in the company. If you think this company will have a bright future, it's always worthy to put your money in.

So what are you proposing then? And what the heck did you get your source that only a small sum of people owns most of BTC?

Actually, there should be no comparison in BTC with altcoins because the two has different purpose and use. I think people should stop comparing BTC and alts because they are not in the same level.
10  Other / Meta / Re: what is actually our mission in the bitcointalk forum on: March 31, 2018, 04:41:52 AM
Looks like everyone joined to gather and spread information and no one joined because of money.

I joined because of money. I wanted to escape from the problems and charges associated with fiat currencies and the banks, and I wanted to use Bitcoin to sell domain names.

Haha. LOL Me too.

I think most of us, is here because of this reason (fuck those who says, they're here to learn BTC). That's why people are so eager to get some merits to rank up, so they'll get more from campaigns.  Cheesy Cheesy
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thailand plans to tax cryptocurrencies on: March 31, 2018, 04:34:52 AM
Most of the countries will do the same thing. Given that Thailand is part of South East Asian region, I'm very confident that Crypto will be on mainstream media to help the economy growth.

So you mean this move of the governments right now is good for cryptocurrency?
12  Other / Meta / Re: How many post I do post to get upgrade on: February 09, 2018, 03:31:47 AM
Is there any limit to give out merits for an individual? As a newbie can I still get merits or I need to be at least member to be eligible?

Yes, there is a limit to giving merit PER post. I believe you can only give a maximum amount of 50 merit point per post. Any rank can receive merit even newbie like you, getting one is easy if you're doing quality post and helping others with constructive and informative replies assuming a "merit source" notices you.
13  Other / Meta / Re: How many post I do post to get upgrade on: February 08, 2018, 03:22:36 AM
Actually he doesn't need any merits to be able to reach the Jr. Member rank. Anyway, at OP you need to have 30+ activity points to reach a Jr. Member level. Every two weeks you'll get 14 activity points assuming your actively posting.

BTW, your on the wrong sub-forum. You must be posting this thread to Beginners Help sub-forum.
14  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin price so stable in 2018? on: January 27, 2018, 08:39:04 AM
I am not seeing any stability of bitcoin rather a bearish market of it. This I think is normal, last year this was also felt. Plus, we had been hearing news about the government's action against bitcoin so this factor would be affecting.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Markets are moving and there is a lot of money to be made. Are you making money on: January 26, 2018, 01:26:45 PM
It's a no brainer to earn profit in crypto today. Lot of fresh money is coming into market and it's constantly rising when we look at the average.
But somehow people still manage to lose their investment. With desire to earn more they lost more.

No its not. Its still a good option to dive-in and invest to crypto. People who have lost money in investments its their fault. Investing don't just revolve on putting some money on things you believe in. You need to focus your time and knowledge identifying good investments and scam. Its their fault why they lose their money.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Buying into ICO from USA via third party on: January 24, 2018, 08:31:12 AM
Hello,
does anyone know of a service where you can buy into ICOs via third party to avoid the restrictions of being based in the United States?
thanks

Don't know if you can find a third-party service to do this. Actually, you can have someone from other countries pay for you by using an escrow service. You just need to find a trustworthy person to be able to do that.

Do you know of any Escrow services ? reason being I am thinking about being that trusted person - I am UK based

There's a lot of escrow service provider in this forum some of them are legendary and hero members just be sure to check their feedback first. You can find them mostly on the Services section of this forum.

18  Other / Off-topic / Re: What age to teach kids about crypto? on: January 22, 2018, 02:19:49 AM
It doesn't matter at what age you will teach your kids about it. As long as the kid is able to understand what crypto is. Teaching cryptos to a 6-7 years old kids wouldn't be good because their attention will be divided.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin Die Because of China? on: January 19, 2018, 10:11:52 AM
No, I don't think so. China bitcoiners don't hold much percentage to pull down and kill bitcoin. Although we have felt a sudden dip of bitcoin it doesn't mean that it is because of the ban in china.
20  Economy / Speculation / Re: SELL EVERYTHING!!! on: January 18, 2018, 08:18:55 AM
I'm gonna be honest with you all , i have been trading/investing since 2017.

I earned about 110.000 by trading and basically lost it all, i decided to sell the rest and just quit. I'm gonna explain why, this cryptocurrency market
is very manipulative and can easily be controlled and it will never stop. The icos/alts will always keep sucking all the btc cash so it will always be hard for btc to grow and
dominate.

This market is made to make money and profit from noobs it's like a bitconnect scheme. Every dollar that is made by someone, someone will lose money. Every dollar that
is made in this system will be sold to fiat and if there is low btc buy power it will mean that btc will only keep going down. This market is basically made to make
money from new users like a scheme. For example can you actually believe that if you would've put 10k usd into bitconnect you would have a monthly return of about 4500
every month by lending? This is unbelievably high which again means for every btc/dollar you lend out into this cryptocurrency system = someone will lose money that's
the main reason this market won't be there for long. Because it's basically a pyramid scheme.

Almost all of the users know that bitconnect is a scam. Do not compare them to Bitcoin or any Cryptocurrency. Bitconnect investors had been warned of the this scheme before, and now they are ranting because Bitconnect sudden shutdown. LOL
