Can anyone share R290 config I've got olny 500kh
I got only 280X, but try to play with these settings: "intensity" : "14", "worksize" : "64", "kernel" : "Lyra2RE", "lookup-gap" : "2", "thread-concurrency" : "8192", "gpu-threads" : "2", "gpu-engine" : "1024", "gpu-fan" : "10-85", "gpu-memclock" : "1500", "gpu-powertune" : "0", "temp-cutoff" : "75", "temp-overheat" : "69", "temp-target" : "65", "api-listen" : true, "api-mcast-port" : "4028", "api-port" : "4028", "auto-fan" : true, "expiry" : "20", "failover-switch-delay" : "60", "gpu-dyninterval" : "7", "gpu-platform" : "0", "log" : "5", "no-pool-disable" : true, "queue" : "1", "scan-time" : "60", "temp-hysteresis" : "3", "shares" : "0", "kernel-path" : "/usr/local/bin"
What your hashrate with those setting for the 280x? 840-880 per card I get 813~836 kh/s at I=17 and Worksize=256 at 1050/1500 clocks. I don't know how people are getting around 1~1.1 Mh/s at 1020 or lower core speeds?!?!?!.... 280X Samsung mem - 1,1MH/S 850/1600 280X Hynix mem - 900KH/S 850/1600 GPU frequency has little effect on the hash memory overclocking gives greater gain. Thanks, I'll try to up the vram from 1500 to 1600 and I have Hynix vram, didn't know Samsung runs better. So, it looks like the algo is more vram influenced than the core clock. Update: Tried 1600 and loss some hashrate. Tried 1700 and it froze. I guess 1500 is the optimal mem clock for my card...

Are those your configs for the 280x? What is your hashrate with the 280x?

SpeedDemon13 ,
i made some tests and it showed that a old 5870 is almost as efficient as R9 270 (200 KH/s scrypt-n). Lyra 2 uses half the power of n scrypt, so i think it doesn't matter if old or new gpu is used.
But yes, i forgot -> whe don't know the hashrate this cards do on lyra2re.

All,
I get ~1.15 MH/s on Sapphire R9 290 Tri-X OC.
There also was a guy who did 1.1 MH/s on R9 280X i remember...
He must have oc'd the 280x 1150 or higher on the core and 1500 on mem at least, maybe. Scyrpt-N is really power hungry type of algo because the huge memory requirements. Have anyone did a power efficient test yet, ie. kill-a-watt meter? Cool, guess a 6950 will do about the same as a 5870 and a 6970 will do a little bit higher than a 5870. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=404364.msg9785124#msg9785124I'll try AMD 14.12 Omega driver on one of my rigs and see how it does....

So the max number coins per stake is 618, that means it takes 13941.28553770087 XQN to get about 618 XQN per day per coin stake chunk. I hope I calculated that right...lol
Your math is right. And you have 8 hours per day to stake before reaching the cap, since coins are eligible to stake at 16 hours mature time. If you stake early (shortly after the 16 hours), you will not be anywhere near the max reward. If for any chance you stake past the 24 hour mark (closed wallet, downtime), then you will get your stake capped at 618 with some loss. Happy Staking! Right on!!! Thanks

I get on my 290x (1030/1250 stock msi gaming) 1.3MH/s average. You will get a better hashrate with Hynix GPUs, Lyra2RE don't like too much Elpida Vram. My AMD cards are all Hynix vrams. Hey djm34, what's your friend's config for the 280x? Has anyone try the AMD omega drivers on Lyra2RE?

I guess I have to see if they have a North American version. Think that still on the testnet, because the port is 3333 and the hard fork port for the pool is 4444.

Cool, so about ~85% power consumption of x11. How much does one of those energymeter's run for? That looks way better than a kill-a-watt meter...lol

Gentlemens, if we lost asic?
Price did not move
Price change/movement probably will happen a couple days after everyone start mining with the new algo. I would give it a week or so for this to happen, may it be negative, positive or neutral movement. At least, VTC will be not ASIC mine-able for a while or until they need to change the algo again....

I guess maybe someone is planning to fork MON to lyra2re, or maybe they just plan to keep merge mining with Murray or execoin.
There's a lyra2re branch on github.. and its live on testnet. So if you want to test out merge mining with vertcoin (on testnet) you can. If the vertcoin guys manage to get consensus on their hardfork it can be merged (unless someone found issues during testing etc). Here's some gui binaries (mac, windows, linux): http://www.sendspace.com/filegroup/LIgbIdLYeeygLwq5WAwbvHTFA8bBJtfiSo, will this mean Monocle will switch over to Lycra the same time as VTC or at a later time? Or will it stay on the Scrypt-N algo?

So, will Monocle still be merge mine-able with Vert or will it stay with Scrypt-N? What is everyone getting on average hashrate on the new algo with an AMD 280x or Nvidia GTX 750ti? Awesome that in about 9~10 hours the new algo will be online..... I am getting 616khs with Nvidia750Ti and 840khs with a single 280X but this I thing could be much more. the algo will be sooner. look here http://give-me-coins.com/pool/vtc-fork-countdownOh yea, I calculated it wrong and it should be about 5 to 6 hours, ie. approximately 24 block per hour....lol Cool, because those are the only card I have to mine with...lol I also have 2x 6990. anyone tryied 6990 with lyra2re? I have 2x 6950 2GB and 1x 6970, but I would think it wouldn't be very efficient to mine with in the long term. I haven't tried with those cards yet, if the new algo works with them.

What is the average hashrate for an AMD 280X on this algo? Does the newer Sgminer work with this?

That can always be changed in the code to reduce the % or make a finite number of coins.
no that is a bullshit way to run a coin. once those flood gates are open, the project dies. On this precise topic, we've exchanged some ideas already earlier, most or all of which, would preserve the stake %. I posted concerning this (along with another feature request) here: http://forums.dfx.io/index.php?topic=14.0Happy Staking! That is definitely a good idea. I also like the block spacing idea too.....

Just because there is a lot of volatility you are saying that high pos is bad?
Mrkt cap of 55k is based upon 4500 sat price. Compare it to fuel coin or any of the shitcoins hovering around 500k mrkt cap and you can see there is a large room for growth.
This is the first high interest coin that is also a serious project. I actually like it how it is. These are all experimental, every Alt, but I always look at marketcap, and this one has potential for massive gains there. (regretting I didn't buy more actually) As long as the total coin supply doesn't go over 500 million, I don't really think that would affect the price. Look at Maidsafe, it has ~452 million coins with a price ~10k to ~12k sat and XQN is at ~4k to ~5k sat.
