501  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Bitmine A1 mining chips for sale on: May 02, 2014, 05:19:20 AM
@Zefir: old friend, Please confirm if this is a legitimate client of yours.

Otherwise we already know who this and we recommend highly not to purchase chips from this user.

Just to be sure that clients get working A1 chips, we'll sell any qty at 20% less than this user is offering.  We are the distributor of these chips btw.

That means $60 per chip.

It's interesting but I see bitmine having alot of the same issues AMT has been having. Altho it seems less so. Refunds issues, delivery issues, all of the same. Like I said....seems like anything/anyone using A1's designs is having a ton of issues. Companies using other chips seem to be ok in terms of delivery. Something worth noting if you are looking for vendors. Just seeing a common thread here with the hardware is all. There is this race for a 28nm process, but at the same time with all the problems, it almost seems like the stable and already mature 55nm process or 40nm chips based solutions are better at this point to go with. They work they are stable....and most of all they are shipping and largely on time.
Realy Grin
My technobit boards A1 are working non stop. And same is happening to other A1 hex8/hex4 technobit clients
So do not speak bulshit please.
You can always asume that everyone has issues but facts are different Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

Hey Loshia,

So do ours.

503  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: New Official AMT Thread on: May 02, 2014, 04:26:41 AM
We're not gone, nor moving out right away. We're not running away with anyone's payment either. We've said numerous times that we're working on a upgrade/refund options for all of our clients, as such it requires a complete audit of the company's finances (needed for discovery during the litigation's investigative process anyway) and we're also restructuring of our current business model all together, gearing up to offer hosting as well hardware soon.

We have also been looking at a more adequate facility in Jenkintown and will probably be moving there within the next month. As we have subcontracted SMD services we've also used their facilities as well as other temporary rented facilities for assembly. We feel it's smarter to take a location where assembly and administrative operations can coexist and we're in the process of setting that up now. Also, due to numerous calls from random people asking if we are legitimate, if we exist, if we're a scam, and calls basically bothering the crap out of our neighbors, our landlord has asked to find another place of operations as well. So again thanks to all the wonderful investigative souls on this thread that helped facilitate that one.

504  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: New Official AMT Thread on: April 28, 2014, 06:29:07 PM
Well, for starters I am asking the police to arrest them right now on the grounds that I feel my family is in danger. They posted my name and address here which creates a threat to my family knowing my purchasing habits of expensive computer equipment which was private information. I am very upset and have asked them to remove my name form the forums which they did not. I want everyone at the company arrested, I am filing charges against everyone there since they all had access to the computer posting under the name AMT_Miners.  I want this all documented for my own safety.

Actually Brian, we posted your name and state. Just in shier instance that you might be correct on that one we went ahead and deleted your name and township. So now it could be any Brian in New Jersey. Feel safe.

And how about Josh's family, friends, all of his personal addresses that have been posted over and over again on this thread. How about how clients showed up at his house on 8 different occasions? How about the car windows that were smashed in front of his house?

How about the first office they worked out of which was his fathers office that was broken into (nothing was stolen) which basically forced AMT out of that office into a new location? How about the affiliated groups associated with Josh's father that questioned his affiliation or recognition based on the sick bastards on this thread that have nothing better to do with their lives than screw with companies that had the best intentions in the world and drive them to verge of something close to clinical depression.

And how about the banking institutions that AMT has operated with that have been screwed with buy clients who didn't want to wait.. Back in November 1 week after a client ordered and then read crap on this thread.

Or the messages left on Josh's voice mail threatening his family directly from Craig Lenell himself.

Its a public forum, and it sucks when your personal info is posted on it and found on google later, it could really effect how a start up company works with banks, institutions, vendors, or more simply can't, because of the preliminary google search that most vendors or institutions do prior to recruiting a reseller or client.

You think making a mining company is easy?  It's the hardest thing any of us have ever to do, and during the whole process we said to ourselves "It'll be worth it in the end, let's just tuff it out, get over this hurdle, just wait", which is now the furthest thing from the truth.

AMT,
Don't you think its been long enough since you last provided your customers a shipping timeline on your 1.2 TH miners? You mist have some notion on when you believe the units will truly be able to begin shipment?

Everyone knows our units have been shipping. Please stop instigating.
506  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: New Official AMT Thread on: April 28, 2014, 12:01:42 PM
I did work as a computer consultant in that area for a long, long time, I even installed complete computer systems for the police depts. there. I even ask myself if I know these guys at AMT because I did some kind of work for almost every business imaginable there in that area working for resellers for many years I still do work there sometimes and I even have servers hosted not far from them. Not to mention I have older siblings who went to school there as did I. My parents also know a ton of people, including people in local govt there. This is why I am somewhat puzzled how AMT is acting out on me, and posting things that are not true about me. It may not be a bad idea to call every police department in that area and inform them of what is going on with all of our money being held hostage. Local police often have sympathy on situations like this. Most of the people in that area are very nice people, but AMT has been very disrespectful to me and I guess we will see how this all plays out.

What are we posting about that is not true?

Again, delivering miners late is not a crime, especially if the business has a good/viable reasons for their delays. Failing to be at the office for a fedex drop off is not a crime and hopefully your package will be attended to today. Your miner will be reviewed and inspected and you'll be notified of your miner's status in the near future.

Our clients have called everyone from the local police to the fcc, the majority of the people on the other side of the line are like wtf are these people talking about. More over, when they see our business is established, shipping and undergoing a lawsuit already, its adds validity to the fact that we're real, working and possibly upsetting our customers.

As we've stated several times before, we're doing the best we can with the resources we have and are going as fast as possible. That we're trying our best to create refund/upgrade options that will satisfy our current clients in the end. At this point its about making our clients happy, specifically those that have been nice and patient along the way.

507  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: New Official AMT Thread on: April 27, 2014, 05:06:37 PM
Plugged my miner is after I got a blackplane from another AMT customer.  Note: AMT has not shipped me a backplane.

No wonder they conveniently forgot to include a backplane.

Getting a back plane from another AMT customer voids (especially one who really don't like - phin) the credibility and reliability of the back plane.
And bitmine does not have a new back plane, who ever said that is retarded.

Carlos, we've requested that you RMA your miner on several occasions as the condition due to shipping seems to be an issue and may effect how your miner performs.

Just send it back and let us send you a new one. Thanks. Or stay here and bitch about it, either way can't get blood from a stone bud.

PLEASE NOTE AMT WILL NOT RESPOND ON THIS THREAD.
509  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: New Official AMT Thread on: April 26, 2014, 12:33:13 AM
My post has been deleted by AMT.

AMT,can you response my email ? thank you.

We may need to have a new AMT User Thread.

If I realized they are doing business like this, one is more than enough, I should not buy the one from you.

Apologies, it may be because you had quoted Loshia or Sirminesalot or phinneas gage in your post. We're trying to keep them out of our thread so that we can communicate with our clients and keep it clear of crap.
510  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: New Official AMT Thread on: April 26, 2014, 12:31:15 AM
Yes we need to be more transparent, but for the moment our attorneys have advised us to basically do the opposite until they meet with the lawyers next door to us. We are trying to figure out refund options as well as several other options for our current and future clients.

Advise your attorneys that you have miners out here that don't work and we need support.

The lawyers next door are the least of their problems.

Their case is on a federal level which bypasses country and state, we'd have to say Federal is the worst of our problems yes. But thanks for being a valued client of AMT.
511  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Official AMT users thread. on: April 26, 2014, 12:27:37 AM
Frictionlesscoin is a client of AMT:

Carlos also filed a claim with deleware and requested a refund. After resolving the issue with Carlos and Deleware by shipping his miner. He now claims that he is missing a backplane.

We've created a fedex tracking number for now the 2nd backplane that we'll be sending to Carlos.

Carlos is valued customer of AMT and we are very happy tom have him. We'll update this shortly with the fedex tracking number to Carlos's house.

512  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: New Official AMT Thread on: April 26, 2014, 12:19:24 AM
update on my smashed miners:

Again, no one there to accept the FedEx package. Jim Brown emailed me saying because I got a smashed miner, I can't have a refund any more. They are going to fix the smashed miner instead of sending me a new one. The thing was so smashed, I feel as though it was beyond repair and should be scrapped. I am having someone talk to the Montgomery County DA on my behalf.

Yes sometimes we miss the fedex guy in the morning, we will pick up Brians miner directly from the fedex office. Please note, Brian lives 30 minutes from our office by car in New Jersey.

Brian waited 1 week to send back his miner via fedex when he could have taken the 30 minutes to drive over and have us check it out.

Brian also requested a refund 11 times before we shipped his miner, and he also filed a complaint with Delaware country which is currently in a resolved status. The Delaware agent in charge of Brians case was very helpful and has noted that we took every step we could to satisfy this disgruntled customer.

Furthermore, dealing with complaints from clients like Brian, a war vet, and credible member of society takes time and effort, and forces us to ship him a miner before someone else who deserves it more.

513  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Official AMT users thread. on: April 26, 2014, 12:11:04 AM
PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT THE OFFICIAL AMT USERS THREAD. THIS IS CREATED BY USERS THAT ARE NOT ACTUAL CLIENTS.

From this point forward AMT will not be discussing any company issues, giving any company updates, or providing any support on this forum. AMT recognizes some forum members have tried to and will continue to try to speak on behalf of AMT and we urge customers to simply not listen. We will be launching a support forum via our website which can be found at http://advancedminers.com/forums

Our goal is to deliver miners to existing customers and get to the point where we issue full refunds to our clients despite receiving a miner or not. Any opinionated comments from any past clients or non-clientele, allegations, conspiracy theories, rumors, "investigative reports" are most likely fabricated exploits designed to defer new clients from purchasing from AMT. As there are several from this forum ,please realize these individuals do not and never have spoken on our behalf.

We simply don't find this forum to be a valuable tool for helping and supporting our current customer base and due to all the antisemitic, prejudice and racist allegations that are constantly made about our company and our staff, it is no longer a pleasant environment to be apart of. Our true clients that need support understand what we're talking about and we're happy to support them via our thread which we will populate with helpful tutorials and information everyday going forward. Other clients that need immediate technical support can contact sales@advancedminers.com and you'll receive a reply within 24 hours.

We can only hope that our true clients and supporters will see passed the layers of crap to come going forward.

Thank you for your understanding in this matter.

Our advice is not to use the bitmine options as our manufacturer chose to produce our hardware not exactly the same way.

There are default settings which we had to be create in order to get a percentage of these boards to work based on the swapped components which were used.

please run the following after logging in:

amt-setup mode

amt-setup mode 2 16000:750000:2000

amt-setup apply

AMT, since you are in design mode for the 2-3TH rigs, any particular reason you haven't thought about feeding in 24vdc (or 48v)? In the multi-kw range much much cheaper per/w and hugely lowers the currents to 1/2-1/4 (48v) that connectors & traces have to handle.

Safe bet the core supply buck converters would be happier about it as well.

We're headed in that direction like most of the industry.
518  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: New Official AMT Thread on: April 24, 2014, 12:31:07 AM
I still say the best solution for AMT & Bitmine would be to just use a REAL 1.5-2kw +12v server supply like in the link I've given further back. Bolt PCIe pwr cables to the buss lugs and then just a simple tab or other small regulator fed from the 12v rail to give the 5v needed for the Pi & backplane. Whole PSU issue solved.

We're working on something like that yes.
519  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: New Official AMT Thread on: April 16, 2014, 07:53:20 PM
Heads up, site is currently down due to Hostgator issues across the board on dedicated servers. Should be back up soon, no need to worry.
520  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: New Official AMT Thread on: April 16, 2014, 06:10:29 AM
DID ANY ONE GET THE PI TO RECOGNIZE THE BOARDS ?
when you plug it in and go through the pi type killall cgminer then type cgminer -DT better if done through putty should come up with a load of info. if it dosent recognise any boards yo may need to check your backplabe is connected correctly.  if it sees boards you should be good to go. head into the amt 192.168.1.xxx and click the save and restart cgminer. may need to do it a coup[le of times but it should start mining
and make sure that little (floppy drive?) power connector is plugged in to the backplane. There's a pic of that further back.

Does anyone have a connection diagram or do customers all have to discover this on their own?

Man.... these AMT folks are the worst.

Think this is the closest we've come to that https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=304605.msg6204573#msg6204573

now the 24 hr dry run is over we will disassemble the miner tomorrow and will post a full tut on how to install and set up the pi, blades, back plane and psu. how to get connected and also what tools you will need to aid you in usage.

hopefully be up and done by 6/7pm gmt. all being well

Thanks for taking the time to do AMT's job. I'm sure there are many who could use your input and limited experience with these things. Looking forward to it.

We asked him to do it because reggie is a nice guy that seems to have a handle on our product, one less thing to think about is always good.
