The future of affordable coin mining hardware.
903  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: Advanced Mining Technology (AMT) on: November 27, 2013, 05:16:41 PM
Any locals willing to swing by?
If i can get into the area, ill be sure to do it. But if work can put me out that way. ;/

We're leasing a larger and more suitable office for this venture, i've mentioned that before. Last week we had an attempted break in actually, someone tried to jimmy the lock and managed to the get the door of it's hinges.  So again, if we're hesitant on our location, or not letting non-paying customers or "asic review teams"  into our office for a "look around" that's why. But really though I want to meet the dumbass that tried to break into a security system companies office..

Again - if you must come and see our relatively empty sales and shipping point for the next two weeks, here are directions:

1. Find one of the images that the trolls left on thread, there are several.

2. Drive along west chester pike until you see the same mcdonalds.

3. Park.

4. Walk up the stairs until you hit a door called "Safe", walk in the door and speak to a man named Harrison who is 6'3 and about 320lbs and he will welcome you and explain that this is an assembly and shipping point and the he is a family friend of one of the founders and that he was nice enough to help a start up get their feet off the ground.

The office upstairs served as a two day a week assembly and shipping point and that's all.  We've said that several times. You wont see miners laying around because we wouldn't give out the location where our miners are actually being developed anyway, even with the new location, it will be just another sales and shipping point. We don't care what other companies do or if they welcome people, but we're smart enough to know that when BTC hits 5k we wont want people knowing where the machines that generate BTC are being built.

Guys, like either let that one go or sit and literally TROLL around the outside the office, have a big mac if ya want.  The pizza downstairs is also pretty good. In a few weeks we're moving to a new location off Lancaster Avenue between Ardmore and Brynmawr. It's about 10 minutes away from this office. I'll make sure to give explicit  directions on how to get there. Everyday will be welcome to an Open House and anyone is welcome every day. You'll see boxes, pretty Jewish girls doing things like answering phones or accounting, cases, boxes, bases.. boxes.. and that's about it.. Maybe one or two miners that are being put in the boxes.

But really each and everyone one of you are welcome in our new presentable location with open arms. For a nominal fee of course.

Did anyone send them funds?

Yes we have several clients, and have made/are making several miners.
905  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: Advanced Mining Technology (AMT) on: November 18, 2013, 07:02:22 AM
We really don't market or promote our miners on these types of forums. We update them from time to time, but its not a main channel of traffic that's for sure. We do more corporate B2B marketing and a good portion of orders are going to US companies. I'll have marketing send an email out to clients who were already shipped miners and ask them if they like their miners and see if they are willing to help us in a "demo AMT campaign" or something like that. Asking them to directly create a video or review on a forum is kinda like... a bit trashy.

So you're telling us that you shipped this hardware without getting some pics of the shipment going out or good videos of units hashing before shipment?

Hmm...very peculiar.

When we launched Black Arrow's Bitfury Bullet Run in the last month through our co-op we had lots o' updates, pics, and hashrate dashboards available starting from CAD drawings, proceeding to prototype testing, and then actual hashing in Missouri: http://s286.photobucket.com/user/SurfSkateKauai/library/?sort=3&page=1

I highly recommend that you take this type of approach if you want to be taken seriously by this forum: home of the most serious and hardcore ASIC miners and BTC investors in the English speaking world. For a bunch of amateurs (going pro): We've seemed to have done pretty well with this forum which you dismiss so flippantly.

Note taken, appreciate your support and advice.

We should hear something by now.... nothing on YouTube. like those unbox my rig vids.

We'll send that email out today to clients and see what kind of feedback, we get as I said we don't target this forum but maybe someone will post something.. who knows. And even someone did you would all say its fake anyway, so what's the difference. Smiley

this is looking like a scam.. notice how they avoided above questions regarding local pickups? that's just big fat red alarm in my book... trade with extreme caution guys... indeed reminds of labcon...

looking forward to the videos and some photos..

there will be no videos
they stated, they have shipped a lot of units already but they cant prove it
it is scam

look at knc
since they started shipping we have seen a lot of videos/pictures

there you have only shady statements.
like labcoin.

Right, customers have been to the office, local pickup is an option in the checkout menu and that's been stated several times during this thread. Who's paying you to write this stuff, id love to know at this point lol.

They stated most of their customers don't use these forums and they have actually shipped out devices... I'm not sure what I think about that.

https://www.google.com/search?client=ubuntu&channel=fs&q=link%3Aadvancedminers.com&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8

Not a lot of sites linking to them.

Wow.. most of their customers don't use these forums. However, the only link on the entire world wide web to their website is a link on these forums....

Good find. Smiley

I am following this thread with interest as well...

What else would you need? All things Bitcoin seem to end up here somehow.

The only other thing that would be terribly useful to them is a mention on the Genesis Block mining comparison page...

http://mining.thegenesisblock.com/

That would help.

Appreciate the support.

or this is only USA preferred?

International shipping is an option during the checkout process. Write to sales@advancedminers.com for more intl. questions.

Yea we just advertise like a normal company, not too big on linking to or selling through forums.. But to calm the crowd in this thread i'll upload a video this evening of the new cases, miner running, and all that.

So nobody has received anything yet?  Have those who ordered gotten any news?  Doesn't look good as a perspective buyer.  Has anyone gone there to check them out in person?

We've had a few stop ins yes, some guys came to drop off checks and what nut. But the havertown office is just a small job site/final assembly/ shipping office. We have a few techs come in when everything arrives, assemble the miners and ship. We're getting a larger place soon, we we're thinking about taking the second floor of that building but there is  a better office/shipping center in Lower Merion on Lancaster Ave, we're thinking about taking that location as a set location. I'll keep you updated.
914  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: Advanced Mining Technology (AMT) on: November 15, 2013, 02:18:58 AM
Yes we've started shipping but I can't speak for the clients that have received their miners. We have a larger shipment batch going out Monday/Tuesday so maybe we'll hear back from that batch of clients. In general we usually direct our clients to forum here on bitcointalk, they don't find us via this forum. Maybe that's why..

Anyway, we'll post some video updates of the miners tomorrow with the new cases, drive functions and all that. Been meaning to get around to it but its just been hectic across the board.

Hey Punin,

There seems to be a problem with the shipment of my Tray of chips, it's been sitting in Finland for a few days now and hasn't moved. I see others have similar problems so I'm not too worried.

Wednesday, November 06, 2013   Location     Time   Pieces`

I'm sure its some inter-postal communication problem but could you please check it out for me. Thank you sir.

Added all seven AMT machines.

We don't want to be on sites like these. They usually sway the users opinion and pricing/ship dates/xe rates/difficulty is never updated on those things. If we want to be listed there in the future, we'll reach out to you and let you know but.  We would have added ourselves to all those other sites that already do this, but it never a good idea because these sites dont account for the increase 'USD/BTC rate.

Anyways thanks for thinking of us but please remove us from your site.

AMT_Miner:

I have sent a couple of emails to your sales address and have not received any reply.

My order number is #403 for 2 x 192GH/s machines. The order was placed on Oct. 3. I had listed that I would pick them up. Just wondering where I am in the queue as to shipping/pickup.

VBT

Edit:
I might be interested in 1 or more of the extras that you had... if you still have them.... Would be nice to pick them up at the same time.

You sent them to the chat box's offline message I think. Anyway getting back to you now on that one. Your going to have to repay cause your outside the window, but yes they are ready/ready soonish. I'll email you now, or feel free to come chat in the little box on the site.
