Yeah send me one of those,

What is the point of AMT showing off another company's wares?

Unless of course that's what you folks will be delivery to us in exchange for the garbage you sent us.

We were just saying we think they are doing a good job. And ya know, their name isn't all too bad either right.

My name is Michael and i have an order with AMT for 2 1.2Th/s units.
These units were purchased in November 2013. My order number is 596. Over this period i have sent ungodly amounts of emails to AMT. The most recent 2 weeks ago i was told they would reply to me the next day. This is after promising me delivery multiple times until just giving up on communication altogether several months ago. I would appreciate a public update on this situation. Why are you recalling and reissuing items that are faulty when you have orders that have not been filled at all. Would you publicly state when my order is set to deliver or when a refund will be in my account. The lawyers are awfully interested.

Michael lives in Australia we can discuss his order.

After the problems we had locally here in Philadelphia, we arranged to have production fulfilled in Europe for Europeans and all other (non-us) clients. We repurchased and shipped over new parts/comps, shipped materials and chips, etc and had the Swiss's CM run the build for us. Miners were stuck in customs from CH to BG for two weeks and we're recently just released, repacked and shipped out.

We've completed shipments to all European clients, and they should be arriving tomorrow or the next day. We'll check on your order as well and get back to via email. Send an email reminder to sales@advancedminers.com

Yep, I'm squirming all over the place, because someone slightly smarter than you (not hard) found some of the many posts I made where I said I wasn't a customer of AMT. Wow you are such a hero!

Good luck with the RMA, you'll be sending back the only thing you'll ever get from AMT, and never receive another miner. Hey, why don't you worry about the real frauds here, AMT. Too busy on payroll with the job that they offered Phin, of defending AMT in the forums, I'd guess.

I personally have plenty of pictures of the rig to document it, to be honest I'd kind of like the giant paper weight out of my house. I know the wife will be pleased. It doesn't work at all so sending it back isn't any loss for me personally. And it doesn't affect any pending litigation, so  don't really see much of a point of holding on to it currently.

I get that idea, since it is worthless now, I'm just imagining these frauds doing something like selling the broken units to other people now to keep the process going without having to even come up with more hardware. They have to be completely broke at this time, I don't know why they haven't just disappeared completely and have the one person that we might know the real name of leave the country.

Wow, that's vicious. How about this for a chain of events.

AMT takes responsibility for making poor choices in the fulfillment of it's processes and issues a recall.

AMT issues this recall of miners (even though some still work fine which has been noted here several times by several members) in order to insure that clients get long lasting working products, and AMT re-builds and reships all miners that were previously shipped out, while scrapping the returns.

AMT takes another LOC in order to increase production abroad and fulfill all orders within a few weeks, while developing services for the community which better the community as a whole.

AMT changes its policy to all products sold will have a 5 to 10 day delivery at most (10 day just encase someone lives in New Zealand or something) and only sells stock miners, or miners which can be assembled and built in a 2 day period of time similar to other successful companies like caselabs.

AMT integrates with key market players and focuses on development and fulfillment of new orders via from new market segments which are created by incorporating AMT's ideas and concepts into it's miners which ultimately attract segments of the market which have either been forgotten or segments which AMT creates through market demand.

Rickjames never formally apologizes but one day writes a post which reads something like"

"Alright, they got their shit together, that's all I ever wanted anyway".

Sounds wonderful. For those of us who ordered back in November  I assume that this policy statement covers us and that we can expect equipment within 10 days of the promulgation of this policy as stated in this forum. Really guys yet another own goal please try harder some of us really want to like you and making statements that actually come true will go a long way towards that.
I look forward to receiving my equipment on 6/15 or at the worst 6/20 (p.s. I live in TN not NZ!)

Edward

That's the idea Edward.

Bring them all back, ship everyone withing a 10 day window.

So, how does one apply to be a corporate shill? I ask because I need a stay at home job ;-)

First, have over 10K posts.
Next, attack everybody you think that may have pockets deep enough to pay for your silence.
Rinse.
Repeat.

My windfalls to date:

A subpar miner from BFL of which I sold for $500 and donated all the money included what Josh reimbursed me for traveling to KC to charity (or I purchased a yacht with the windfall).

A subpar miner from AMT in lieu of the 20 BTC bounty promised, of which I was able to mine enough bitcoins to purchase an island.

Today, I am paid from various bitcoin mining outfits to diss AMT, and if you discover which ones, I will gladly give you $1M USD, for I believe the tracks are covered, even from myself.

With your skill sets, rik, I say we should partner-up and really make a killer in this dissing thingie space. We'll dub it Rik-Gage, giving you first billing.

Phinnaeus Gage Finally Admits It Above!!!!!!
367  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: New Official AMT Thread on: June 08, 2014, 02:03:58 AM
AMT, I'm amazed you still post here. Go crawl back into your hole Joshua, you fat piece of shit. Do what your lawyers suggest, and stay out of this forum.

Fucking loser.

Any plans on answering my comments to you? Guess not...your silence is damning. Pretty sure you are another paid shill. Funny how this "friend" of yours never seems to make an appearance on here. You are way to overly motivated....secret gay lover? Its gotta be something. Because you have no obvious business here and you really don't contribute shit to this discussion but cursing and instigating a virtual mob mentality. Go back and collect your check from BFL or Cointerra or whoever is paying you.

Talk about a paid shill, you already have openly discussed working for these scammers. Why would ANYONE need to be paid to call this out as a web of lies? You think the other companies, busy trying to work on their own problems, are worried about the worst failure of them all? This AMT business has been a train wreck, nobody needs to try and help it along.

Maybe you need to read carefully...I am working WITH them not FOR them HUGE distinction....firstly to get us our miners....did you order? if so then this pertains to you. I am defending against the bullshit racist intolerance I am seeing which is something I in general have a problem with. Secondly sirminesalot from DAY1 has posted nothing but shit. Again you gotta ask wtf is up with that. This was way back in February. When orders still had not even been announced to be delivered.

My motivation to get us miners. I am not getting paid for this. I have signed no NDA's...that said I am upfront about where I stand. Why am I defending them? Because these other trolls or paid shills who have no financial interest in any of this are a distraction that gets us nothing. Their suggestions make us the collateral damage in this mess. I dont defend AMT because they know how bad the fuck up was. They and a few other of us who are useful are actively working to come up with solutions that get everybody to win out in this. If you are ok with bitching and moaning and getting nothing (asuming you had an order) then fine. I have a self-interest in this. My motivations are openly selfish. To get my miners and the MPP honored. That said by doing so there is altruism in it as well because I would feel like shit if I was the only one. Again a selfish reason but rooted in altruism. I want to see everyone walk away with working hardware.

But paid shills are a fucking joke. Its obvious. They have NO motivation here. Friend my ass. Noone is that motivated unless they have a very selfish reason to be.

AMT, I'm amazed you still post here. Go crawl back into your hole Joshua, you fat piece of shit. Do what your lawyers suggest, and stay out of this forum.

Joshua Zipkin is on record in stating that he is Bulgarian.
Joshua Zipkin is on record in stating that he is a Freemasons.
Joshua Zipkin is on record in stating that he is Jewish.

How the fuck is that when I string them to together - Jewish Bulgarian Freemasons - I'm considered a racist? Also, I've not once thought it, let alone pen it that such-and-such is somebody's gay-lover, yet we're now being attacked by someone that has, somebody who now pens that they have a problem with such pennings.

Josh never said he was he was Bulgarian or a Freemason. You said that.

368  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: New Official AMT Thread on: June 08, 2014, 12:36:46 AM
Here is what was brought up today and has been running for a few hours.  I'll keep posting on a daily basis to hopefully convince AMT to pay their bill to IMET so I can show them what to do to make things right or at least point everyone in the right direction.  Again, there is nothing wrong with the PCBs or PCB assembly.  We did not make any mods to the boards.

IMET, that is really very interesting (and troubling).  Can you give some evidence that the boards work for an extended period of time?  I think others have seen the boards work for a few days and then die so showing it working at one moment in time is interesting but not dispositive...

I'm working on it.  We have been bringing boards and systems up and down from the pile that AMT left to see if there is anything that can be done to recoup our loss from the bounced check.  I'm committed to keeping this one up for the long term and I'm confident that it will run based on the time I have spent with this hardware.  I am not an expert on these types of systems, but I am an experienced EE.  Hardware is what I do.  Software/firmware is another story hence I don't understand the date discrepancy.  I also hope that AMT comes around and pays their bill so they can learn of the work that I have done on my own time/dime to try to make something good happen.

Here is what I suggest you do for proof:

- Mine into a BTC address using a pool that allows you to mine directly to a BTC address (like Eligius, but there are others)
- Shoot a video of your working miner using that address (show a newspaper in the video to prove the current date)

We (including AMT) can all then monitor the miner live and confirm its history.

FYI, my guess is that your rPi controller has an incorrect date.  You can easily fix that with the "date" command as follows:

Code:
sudo date -s "3 Jun 2014 20:03:00 CST"

OR, run raspi-config and setup all options:

Code:
sudo raspi-config
Internationalization options
Change Time Zone
Select geographical area
Select city or region.
Reboot

Here is the link for the machine that we brought up the other day.

http://eligius.st/~wizkid057/newstats/userstats.php/1PeLX5qNuRrEYVfFqm4tQC7LCj4Ed8N8j8

This unit has already run for about 2 days before we brought it down today to do what was suggested above so everyone can watch it.

And just a heads up for those following the whole IMET situation, and how the boards supposedly work and they know how to fix them. See the above link, the average is around 450ghs. Not saying that's a good thing, just showing people that we're not full of shit about that specific situation.
369  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: New Official AMT Thread on: June 08, 2014, 12:32:06 AM
I think this needs an explanation. I figure they opened themselves up for this. That FYI is the BFL executive staff....Phin as we all know is the guy to the upper right. With all the BFL hate topping the first page, where are you? That seems suspicious to me. Should be to everyone else. FYI being a customer of BFL I watch all those threads pretty carefully too. I already have taken action against them as well. I cant reason with them. Josh at least I have been able to work with and can get results with. BFL does not give a shit AND they have the criminal background....where is all that on them? Interesting you dont come at them. Or maybe I missed the post.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=293854.0

This was last Sept year.
https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fs11.postimg.org%2Fxs0lg473n%2Fimage.jpg&t=540&c=Vg074cMRzvkLyA

Phin is the dude on the upper right.

Where are you on BFL these days? They are taking a tremendous amount of heat from legit customers....but nowhere to be found there. Again this was one of the things that made me wonder......
I am guessing you tooka nice paycheck to stop...gives you more time to bash on AMT and any potential competitors keeping BFL and their advertising business going (google adsense/adwords is very profitable with the right SEO and they have that in spades and buried most of their US competition).....this requires some better answers. Again you are straight up. I would like to believe that. But at the same time seeing this kind of post almost seems like you are way to chummy vs when you were with AMT it almost seemed forced. I don't see your continued presence with BFL or finding out more stuff on them....curious.

I know the first thing the detractors want is to nail me as AMT's shill. Initially I gave them the benefit of the doubt. But I have chewed them out alot of times since then as well and have done other things to insure that we get taken care of in all this. On that my post record is clear.....I saw a chance to make a difference to help our collective situation and took it. Josh needs the help, the people he had bailed. That is going to happen. Startups fail in that way. Not a sobstory. Just a fact of business. I and a few others who can name themselves (and have), offered to help with some of the engineering issues they were having. This ultimately benefits all of us in getting a miner that will work consistently. THere are those who are on the outside of this situation who have no skin in this game and won't understand that.

I and none of the others are getting paid for this work. There really is nothing beyond AMT that leads me to believe he is some kind of crook. He made some shitty mistakes and got caught in a fucked up situation that spiraled out of control (in part because of the shills but not all on them either some of that was bad management choices).

These are things he owns up to and is learning from. Its part of the rebuilding process. I have been advising him having run a few successful operations myself. The idea is to get AMT on their feet so we can all benefit.

See.. now that picture is enough to your breath away...

370  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: New Official AMT Thread on: June 07, 2014, 05:12:36 PM
I tried emailing the RMA email three times. It failed each time. I haven't even received the 1.2TH/a unit I ordered on December 3rd, over six months ago. Can I just have my $6000 back? Pretty much any other company will allow you to cancel an order and you get your money back. Can I please just have my money back, PLEASE? I think that's a fair request. It didn't take me six months to give the money to AMT. I sent it instantaneously, in one lump sum. I don't think it's too much to ask. It was my money to begin with, and I just want it back since I have not gotten what was promised to me and pretty much everyone else who ordered. Why is that such a difficult thing to get? If I buy anything from pretty much anywhere, I can cancel my order or return the product and get a full refund either way.

Me and basically every other customer have been treated poorly and unfairly for virtually the entire time we have been dealing with this mess. Me personally, I just want my money back. I paid almost $8000 over six months ago and have essentially jack shit to show for it. If any legitimate company did this, compensation would be given immediately for the poor handling of the order, extremely poor customer service, horrendous product quality, and the outright lying to the public. I would please like to cancel my order and receive my full refund via bank transfer, personal check, money order, etc. I will even fly up there from Florida just to do a cash transaction and be done with this nightmare. No bitcoins, no virtual currency, none of that shit. I would just like my refund in United States Dollars. PLEASE, just let me be done with this mess and move on with my life. This has gone on for so long. That's all I want. This situation had plagued my life for long enough. I just want to be  compensated so I may be rid of the whole thing.

Not gonna happen, you best bet was to file with the FTC. I mean begging for the money back isn't going to persuade them. It might make them giggle but they think they've legitimately earned the money you've paid them regardless of your not receiving anything. The only way you'd get cash is to hold their hand all the way to the bank or under their mattress or wherever they keep their money. Unless you are there in person and with some type of law enforcement I don't believe you'll see a dime.

Personally I'd take my money back and wash my hands of it, but that doesn't seem like something they are willing to offer so I'm not going to beg. I'm just going to wait, one way or another something will happen.

RK_ is a bit pessimistic about the whole thing yes, but we are working for a solution where everyone will be satisfied. Most guys don't get it right the first the first time around, it takes tweaking and moderation. Look at those Bit9 guys, it took them a minute to get off the ground right. Had a great idea but before proof of concept no one gave a crap.

This is true I'm a pessimist by nature. I tend to eat everything fed to me, bullshit or caviar, with large heaping of salt. You get screwed one to many times and you get jaded, but I was jaded way before this whole thing.

Like I said, if this fixes the situation I'm just that much happier to have working hardware. I can forgive if things are made right. This looks to be the first legitimate attempt at that, but considering the manufacturing circumstances it looks like it was the earliest it was gonna happen with the set backs.

A logical assumption.

Most businesses communicate with their customers along the way, we have no clue what you are thinking or doing...You took our money and continue to tell us nothing, step back for a second and put yourself in our shoes.  How would feel, and what would you think?

Its not easy to make mountains out of hills. We've been responsive but due to the legalities of all this, outside settlements, even with a few can eventually screw over every other client as well. We think about this as a group and how to rectify the situation for everyone.
372  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: New Official AMT Thread on: June 07, 2014, 04:55:55 PM
What do you guys think about this Novello Technologies?
They sound like they at least have things planned well. The 40nm chip node is an excellent choice as it opens the door to using many many more foundries around the world to produce the chip keeping the cost way down.

Using 28nm is getting into the area of diminishing returns for power usage and cost per-die. At 20nm power usage and benefits go out the window for this market not to mention the number of foundries that can do it.

We think they do stand a chance. We like their dedicated approach to all this.

Does anyone have a contact at the FTC they've been working with?   I was scammed out of 4 boxes (2 1.2's and 2 3.2's) and have received little response to dozens of email and phone calls.   I hired an attorney in PA and they told me to hold up until the Class Action is approved then we can decide to move forward as part of the CA, or separately if preferred.

2, 3.2's..... You may be in this worse than the rest of us. Sorry to say it, but we've had no proof of somewhat of a 3.2 ever being in existance.

3.2 ?  You were scammed after the lawsuit was filled?

How is it legal that AMT continues to sell 2.4 and 3.2 TH/s systems on its website?

Actually all the products have been down for a week bud. Nobody is selling or advising, at least not AMT.
376  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: New Official AMT Thread on: June 07, 2014, 04:40:20 PM
What do you guys think about this Novello Technologies?

Novello appears to be one "engineer" who thinks he can create a world-leading full custom bitcoin ASIC miner from the ground up without any delays and without missing any specs. Ask yourself this question, "Is this single engineer, who won't post an actual resume or any work experience, better than all the other teams like HashFast, CoinTerra, BFL, Bitmine, BlackArrow, etc.?"

He very well could be. Wasn't it one engineer that created bitcoin itself?

LOL you guys are a riot.

I love when you update the news portion on site and magically there are all these updates throughout the months that were never there. happened with the last slew of updates as well.

But man I'll give you this one for free "We are continuing to produce rapability as we believe we are just around the corner from a 100% PCB success rate."

I think you may mean rapidly. That or you've been working on your mad flow, or brushing up on your rape abilities.

There I've done my good deed for the day and had a little laugh, better than the MRI machine at the VA.

Also, better job than last time with the metadata of photos, been using photoshop I see.

The original files were to large, PS was used only to reduce the size. Metadata should show the dates the pics were taken.

AMT,

I will RMA my product back to you, and when can I expect the unit back? Lets say I RMA it on Wednesday next week, what day would I get it back? Would it be in June?

~Casey

Yes Casey it would be in June. Also send your skype via email please.

Ah quick question while we've got you on here. For the purpose of MPP for those of us who've received our miners already since mine was shipped the 4th (7th?) of april does that mean our six months until mpp kicks in starts from that shipping date as the page describes?

Just wondering, thanks.

Yes Curt.
