181  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Recommend your Favorite Slots on: February 17, 2023, 11:52:56 PM
I'm a fan of Peaky Blinders and 7 Lions
These both slots have made me enough every time I made bets on them, however I never won a jackpot or any cash drops on these games. I think both of these have bonus games available so you can quickly play a bonus game with some easy bets. It's a very wild experience overall to play slots against any other categories in gambling.
182  Economy / Economics / Re: What will you do if bitcoin crash? on: February 16, 2023, 11:39:42 PM
The best answer to your questions could be diversification. If an investor carefully understands the risks associated with his investment and invests accordingly without the requirement to go all in on a single asset and investing your total or more than total portfolio, then there is zero chance that an investor will feel bad for their investments. And the type of crash you expect from btc is not possible now because times were different when only the retail money controlled btc but now, big giants have betted their money on crypto so that crash is not an easy task to take place.
183  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin gambling problem on: February 16, 2023, 07:14:07 PM
It's a matter of choice and control, and if you know how to keep yourself in your pants, then gambling will not harm your pockets because you will not be addicted to it. However, thank you for the suggested website, I guess there are many organizations available online and offline to help us fight gambling addiction, this one though is a great find.
184  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: EUPHORIABET.IO DONT PAY WINNINGS on: February 15, 2023, 10:27:41 PM
All your bets were placed on matches with abnormal activity (matches with a predetermined result) and our provider canceled them so your account will be closed after you withdraw your last deposit, play fair and you will not have problems with payouts

What is "fair play" in your dictionary?
Is it losing continuously till you wipe out your gambling account completely? Or is it that you win and then the casino decides that the amount won was due to abnormal activity?
If you have decided and as you are the casino, your decision is final, why don't you post a proof of what really was done abnormally by OP? What made you reverse the winnings of him? How can OP know the outcome of matches for which you are accusing him?
Any proof of websites where it was known? Is OP a match fixer? Would he fix games just to win $500?
Stop giving nonsense replies, be responsible and show some evidence to prove that OP is guilty.
185  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for February on: February 15, 2023, 10:01:00 PM
Huge possibilities are there for $25k to be printed on the charts considering how bravely btc fought the kraken crackdown and even after a strong dollar where EUR and GBP are getting weaker, btc made its move towards breaking the recent highs and entering a fresh bullish phase again. With all the shit that happened, the kraken crackdown and Paxos ordered not to issue BUSD, and localbitcoins shut down their services, btc holding above $24k is its charm that's creating a difference this time.
186  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin (food for table) on: February 15, 2023, 09:53:38 PM
It isn't just btc but crypto that has fed many families till date, be it through trading or free money that people get through airdrops (some may get it through the use of some marketplaces and some get it through using a testnet of a new chain). There are hundreds of opportunities in the market and if you stand to catch the right one on the right time, you will succeed no matter the charts are green or red. Keep trying because without doing that and thinking that the price just keep going up, will neither feed you nor your family.
187  Economy / Reputation / Re: Some unusual behavior with merits. on: February 14, 2023, 01:22:16 PM
Guys guys, I'm sorry but I never meant to 'accuse' anybody here. It can be called my mistake that I didn't PM them and that it's seriously none of my business where do they spend their merits. I simply used the user as an example as I was too confused about unusual activity with merits distribution, so just out of curiosity I created this thread. Again, I'm not accusing anyone of anything, so if anybody and especially Sceptical Chymist, if you felt offended, I'm sorry about that.

Locking this thread to stop further discussion on this.
188  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People will choose bitcoins more if the number of cryptocurrency option is less. on: February 10, 2023, 09:01:00 PM
Buying and holding Bitcoins needs patience, a very long term patience that not every trader can afford, at least not the average ones, whereas most altcoins give short term quick profits and once the money gets out, they are done for years and will not perform till the next cycle or may even die. Bitcoin is different, it is out of the reach of these altcoins both in terms of value for money and respect it has due to its price. Comparison is impossible, so thinking that altcoins are hindering the people to choose Bitcoin over them is a myth. For those who love btc, they will buy btc only. And altcoins are good, because when there are no choices, even investors get bored which is why we also see new companies' stocks popping up each day to give us more opportunities or to fetch away our money.  Wink
189  Economy / Reputation / Re: Some unusual behavior with merits. on: February 10, 2023, 08:05:49 PM
I don't know what brought this to my attention, but there are many users here on the forum who got merits unusually. I can bring many examples (like we saw some account farming busted in the past years).

Don't and you could have not mentioned the account farming here at all when we're talking about old users and merit sources, and you obviously know it's not the case, is The Sceptical Chymist or fillippone or our beloved AI growing any kind of accounts here?
They are merit sources, they find a good post by someone, they realize this guy deserves more merit, they go through his history and spend a bunch of merits. Nothing special.

I've not pointed out The Sceptical Chymist specifically for account farming and have definitely not come here to throw any such accusations on anybody, I just watched this on many profiles so I thought to ask.

Btw, is indah rezqi a merit source too?

SNIP

3.) Regarding the merits, on January 6th, a member imamusma made a post in this topic. This prompted some other members to review his post history and help him in reaching his next rank. There is nothing unusual about this.

My bad, I didn't see that. 🙈

Good afternoon, I was once a big active user of freebitcoin but I stopped playing and wanted to go back, but I try to recover my account and I can't, I didn't receive any email, the last time I received an email from free was in 2018 I know the login and my email and I have several emails received.

That's not true.
I tried the forgot password link and it worked for my account (and FYI, I too was inactive for more than 6 months there but when I saw your comment, I tried to reset my password and successfully received their email in a few seconds after).

191  Economy / Gambling / Re: Freebitco.in - FUN Token Investment Experiment on: February 10, 2023, 07:53:28 PM
-snip-

Looks like you're really out of luck this time because 2.7k RP and 2.4k sats are too small prizes for 150 WoF spins. By the way, have you decided not to lock your FUN tokens after purchase? As I see it, the FUN token should be seen as a long-term investment, and "FUN savings with APY 25%" would allow you to compensate for the losses you incurred because the price of the FUN token dropped from 37 to 30 sats.

Yeah I locked FUN token for 1 month , so I get 102 token. Now I didn't locked anymore , because maybe one day FUN goes "to the moon" and I want to be free for sell.

Is this investment still open? And is it worth it to invest in it after seeing so many investors feeling that they may not get their value for their Fun tokens for as long as the market stabilizes and turns hyper-bullish?
I also wanted to invest in such schemes where we get good privileges, but here, chances of winning big (jackpot) were very less and in today's world, only those who are addicted to the website since long time are the ones enjoying their benefits. Rest very few are visiting them on a daily basis to claim faucet because a gambler will gamble and if he loses the free faucet in dice, he'll get disappointed and won't come back for some time.
192  Economy / Reputation / Some unusual behavior with merits. on: February 10, 2023, 07:35:40 PM
Firstly, I'd like to share some images below and then I'll begin.

Profile of the user: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=768660

Well, I don't know where to start from or even which place is the best to put this thread into (please move it to the appropriate area if this is not a Meta stuff). Actually, I saw some users giving merits to some posts of this member in a matter of seconds or minutes, with each user doing the same thing but with a good interval in between (in terms of dates). I don't know what brought this to my attention, but there are many users here on the forum who got merits unusually. I can bring many examples (like we saw some account farming busted in the past years).

I have no hard feelings against anybody, be it the merit gainer or the giver. I'm curious to understand what made these people give him so many merits in a row (highest was I think 50 merits spread and given by indah rezqi and The Sceptical Chymist each).

194  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am stopping for legal reasons. Is it really worth the trouble? on: February 08, 2023, 08:42:13 PM
There's no doubt you (OP) are left with the only option to leave crypto payments because your country's regulations are stopping it. However, I've got just one thing to say for such countries, "you guys are probably lacking enough knowledge of crypto or you are not interested in an opportunity that can potentially increase your GDP". I know what is the situation in your country and there are enough people living their life by earning through this forum and even through crypto, it's a seriously stupid behavior that your banks and gov has taken to stop you guys from accepting crypto, it's like taking back your freedom from your hands.

196  Economy / Speculation / Re: FED seem like the most powerful manipulator overall on: February 03, 2023, 11:38:24 PM
They are not manipulators but they hold everything it takes to support USD, which is why it does not impact on crypto alone but one of the highly traded markets of all time, forex, too. We never saw towards the FED meetings before till institutions entered crypto, and now because their money is invested here, they will consider all the points before making or breaking it for crypto alike any other industry they invest in.
197  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betrefs.gg | The Best Social Gambling Society ✌️ | Special Bonuses And More !🌟 on: February 03, 2023, 08:51:33 PM
I must say that your reach in terms of collaborations with websites as well as number of users on your social media is quite impressive. You have covered almost every major to minor casino to give your users a chance to test them out, not only that but you have also included websites like freecash which is a plus here. I wish you good luck with your intentions.
A question still comes to my mind that based on the name betrefs, are we going to get some rewards or rebates if we bring you customers or kind of? I am confused on that issue and wanted to make my mind clear about it.
198  Other / Meta / Re: bitcointalk forum vs OpenAI - ChatGPT on: February 03, 2023, 08:34:15 PM
Now we need someone to create Anti-ChantGPT tools.
You mean anti-cheat? That's already being developed, as shahzadafzal announced it few days ago. Its far from being perfect though and it still gives you false positive results.

Anti-cheat?
I don't think it will work, at least to an extent that we expect it to, because content changes every moment you ask something to ChatGPT and repeat the question. However, I don't think that there is any solid proof left once the page is gone because it randomly writes you a post instead of fetching the exact information from any website or source. AI is transforming the world, but is also the most dangerous thing ever invented and invested into because this will surely reduce manpower and that will cut lots of jobs.
199  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Bitcoin freelance ecosystem development for fractions of Bitcoin - Bounties site on: February 03, 2023, 06:38:13 PM
Upwork works best but you need to be reputed or know how to gamble with your credits so to get landed on a job of your choice. Once you prove your creditworthiness, you won't need much recognition and some employers employ you directly.

If I recall correctly, you also need to have a bank account to make withdrawals, right? So it's not very crypto friendly.

I was going to ask, do you have any tips on improving your creditworthiness? I don't have an account there, but I have experience with other P2P job offers so I want to hear your experience on this.

There are several ways to increase your creditworthiness, one of which is by asking your company to give you a job via one of these platforms. That will not only bring you the opportunity to increase your score (as the team will only hire you out of all the bids), but will add up a good number of jobs done by you which will help you get more work in your specific skill. I know that these platforms charge 20-30% from the pay you get, but that's the best way to increase the number of jobs done by you and monetize your work.
200  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Bitcoin freelance ecosystem development for fractions of Bitcoin - Bounties site on: February 02, 2023, 12:07:04 PM
I think there are dozens of freelancing websites that pay you in crypto such as LaborX. I never try them myself, so I can't comment on their reliability. I'm pretty sure you can find online reviews or compare other websites easily though.
I am not aware of any, so thank you for the recommendation pointer. I just checked out the site and it seems a lot like the regular freelance websites such as fiverr or upwork, but with less activity. Hopefully it turns out to be a bit more privacy inclined than them.
Just to check, am I on the right website[1]?

OP's site is OG and the bounties provided are worth it, I'm amazed to see that a website gives bounties in btc for what the user has asked to be done. I don't know if they use escrow system and block the given btc value from the employer's account till the bounty ends or someone completes the job, can anyone shed some light on this?
