1101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: YOUC a good example of project recovering from dump because of it's potential on: November 13, 2020, 09:45:03 PM
The price of bitcoin or Altcoin is purely based on demand of that coin in the market. Now due to the overflow of Youc the price had reduced a huge in the market for now. But it can be recovered by the holding traders itself. They should hold the coin by skipping of selling youc at low price. Because it's not a good to sell the coin at any price, when you are in money need.

Lmao, traders don't trade based on sentiments and they dump these coins when they want btc to look decoupled from these shitcoins. And why will the traders hold this? Any use case for this coin or is it all expected because some traders bought it at $0.26 and are waiting for that price again? I don't think that a token taken down more than 500% in very less time will be able to recover so quickly, it will take years if the whales ever consider this token to pump. Smiley
1102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: YOUC a good example of project recovering from dump because of it's potential on: November 13, 2020, 08:35:00 PM
'To the moon' talks after a long time.
After getting dumped more than 500%, if it recovers but still not even worth a cent, is it a recovery? It recovered because alts are like that, toxic pumps take place and when no buy support is available later, they get dumped. And don't get flattered by this as it is following the trend and once the alt trend changes, 'there will be blood on the streets'. Remember this phrase?
1103  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Missed the golden opportunity, now what?? on: November 13, 2020, 08:16:58 PM
You are not alone, those who never bought btc but mined it also came into trouble when they realized that btc is worth something but they threw their hard disk or usb drives or wherever they kept their btc, into dustbins. Now they are trying to search for it and not able to get it. Sometimes, even if you have a piece of coal and you think it is not worth anything to you at that time, if you throw it outside and it gets into the hands of another person after a few years and he breaks the coal and a diamond comes out, it is his destiny and not yours.
1104  Economy / Speculation / Re: Just in - Bitcoin at $15 000 on: November 12, 2020, 11:46:01 PM
Within a week, btc gained around 8% of $15k and is currently holding $16300 which is a clear sign of bullishness. But let's remember that this area is vulnerable to dumps as seen in the old rally which may not be the case if this rally breaks up above $17k. I did not buy btc but earning it and those who are like me and earning btc must be very happy that we invested our time for the best thing.
1105  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price to reach $17k? on: November 12, 2020, 11:19:01 PM
Traders who are counting on November, the action is yet to begin because if you remember the last rally it ran till January and then started to retrace. If not Jan, I still see December to be a major deciding month for the bulls to continue the rally or stop it. I think we can expect at least 20% higher ATH this time at around $24000 and then see a big fall but not the worst like we saw in the last rally. It has already crossed $16k and now moving towards the key resistance to be broken for the sky to be touched.
1106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is NOT a replacement to the Stock Market/ traditional investments on: November 12, 2020, 10:50:56 PM
Bitcoin was made to be used both - technically and economically. Technically - where new developments will take place any moment and add up more for the better of btc and its users and Economically - where btc is seen as a safe haven investment and a store of value hand in hand. It is said that anything that has a lot of demand will get its worth more and more expensive. Nothing can be expensive than trust and when investors are trusting btc to be their all-in-one asset to invest their portfolio in and sit back and wait, I think there is nothing wrong even in seeing btc as a replacement to stocks because investors are losing their confidence out of stocks and that whole confidence is shifted into btc.
1107  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA EURO 2021 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Qualifiers! on: November 12, 2020, 10:27:22 PM
yeah, and at the moment, all four matches (one already ended) have same score 0:1
still, hoping that Serbia will score until the end, although there is no good chances from our side

edit: all home teams scored in last two minutes of the game, and Hungary scored two times, so they are actually qualified, Serbia and Scotland go to extra time, same for Northern Ireland

Serbia didn't give up till the end but it was extremely ridiculous to see them not getting a penalty goal for the 5th time when Scotland already scored 5 goals in penalty. I am very much disappointed with them being disqualified.  Undecided
1108  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos Withdrawal Fees Rise (!?)|| November 2020 on: November 12, 2020, 09:56:18 PM
High casino fees are for our own good if you understand it wisely. They use the fees to send our transaction with much higher fee to get it confirmed and have our coins in our hands quick. On the other hand, if some casinos allow us free withdrawals, that should be counted as their generosity. I play at betnomi as they allow me to withdraw in any crypto and I save fees that way because there are some altcoins available with cheaper fee and I withdraw them to save myself some bucks.
1109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hidden team members or not make any difference? on: November 12, 2020, 09:37:58 PM
When everything is open-source, I think they will just take the code and start working. There are many theories to this:

When they know their work will speak for itself, faces doesn't matter. Hidden or not, they are working behind the project and then, the project becomes their face.

If they are hiding their faces, there must be something shady. They may exit scam later because they are not trying to show their faces. How will we catch them?

Some project owners add other people's faces (fake faces) to their projects claiming they are them. It is better to hide faces instead of using other person's face as that person may face problems without being involved or known about any scams that is done by the project builders.
1110  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto is not for the weak on: November 12, 2020, 08:39:58 PM
<<>>

Bottom line is crypto is not for the weak, you need to be strong and do alot of research.

Everything in this world comes with risk, and when there is risk, there are chances of changing your world/ the world. It is your decision if you want to change your world or the world by changing yourself. Nobody is strong from the beginning and they need experience to become strong, and trust me that even when you read high rank member's posts, you will still make a mistake at some point. There is no need to worry about, mistakes are the first step towards success and bring you experience too, so these mistakes are not weakness but your strength if you take them like that.
1111  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Paypal opening up app crypto users on: November 12, 2020, 07:59:12 PM
So they were waiting for the elections to come up with this news later? Well, that was expected. And why not? They are playing their cards one by one but end of the day, you are not going to own any crypto in your hands but you will only see a value there, and there is no guarantee that PayPal will buy the btc for you as they are not allowing any withdrawals.

1113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO, IEO! Which one do you want to return again? on: November 11, 2020, 11:58:33 PM
<<>>

When you have already described the types of projects that took place under various categories, my answer is the same like almost every single loyal user of Bitcointalk will say - we do not need any of them back in our lives. ICOs - total shit ones were pumped up during bull run and then dumped down following btc crash, IEOs - almost the same situation but the difference was that they were being launched at exchanges, Defi - was never worth it as it was already there but it just caught fire because of the heat in the name Defi and those newly added terms which were already there but we were made familiar with these new terms like something new has been added. Defi tokens are (and will be) the biggest failures of all these categories.
1114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Philippines Allows Land-Based Casinos to Accept Bets Online on: November 11, 2020, 11:41:05 PM
My first time on hearing out that land-based casinos do accept online bets which i dont expect for them to take this measure which is somewhat understandable due to
losses that had been given by this pandemic situation. The question is on how these things set-up? How they would pay up the winning bets?
If they would make their own casino dedicated website then its might do but it would be good if theres someone would able to prove out on how things works.

Why first time? Aren't some Las Vegas Casinos available online too? Taking online bets is riskier and if these casinos do not set up limits for bets by their users, they may incur more losses than they did during the pandemic. Their bankroll also needs to be higher than before because whenever they will start their operations online, their exposure will not be limited to their general audience but the global ones.
1115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will XRP Down below 0.2$ once BTC Dominance rises above 68? on: November 11, 2020, 11:15:48 PM
Xrp is struggling hard to keep itself above $0.25 and if it does not carry it, there is a small support at $0.232 which, once broken, will drag away xrp under $0.2 near $0.197. If the crash does not stop there, the last support is at $0.177 which if broken down, the chances of a free fall will increase for xrp. $0.16 looks the best price to put your buy stop at, as the profit will be big once alt season starts again after a major crash.
1116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Turkey as a sponsor in a football match on: November 11, 2020, 10:55:56 PM
Even with no supporters in stadiums football matches across so many countries are being broadcast live and many are catching up with the highlights on youtube and other services so advertising crypto related banners will bring rewards on multiple fronts. Slowly crypto is becoming more and more mainstream and advertising in football stadiums is just a fantastic way to get the word out there for btcturk.com, just talking about it in a thread here clearly shows their advertising had the desired effect.

Agreed to everything you said and btc is making fortunes for those investors who invested in it this year and the party has just started. I see that is why btc is showing us some moves since few weeks, as the mainstream media is catching up with the popularity of crypto and adding it to their lists while showing some onboard action through those advertisements on the digital banners as well as on tees of some famous players.
1117  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to earn If im beginner on: November 11, 2020, 10:43:48 PM

Wow, $100 is small money? Even if one can earn them daily? I think you need to learn discipline before you are exposed to money making.

We do it for your better, we are not getting anything to show you the right direction. For food, get out of your home and do a job, nobody asks you to rely completely on this forum or crypto alone.
1118  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bplay binance casino? on: November 11, 2020, 10:29:10 PM
one tweet from CZ to promote this casino, and guess what? a lot will check them out. so promoting this will be easy peasy from their end.  am thinking also that since this is gambling site, they may have some apprehensions right now. but looking at the twitter acct of this site, pretty much active - https://twitter.com/bplay_official?lang=en and you can actually see that CZ & binance are following this acct

https://i.imgur.com/QN158bX.png

I visited my Binance exchange account to check out if this is true or not, and it seems Binance played this step of adding bplay games to their recommended gaming partners under our nose. Use the 'Transfer' feature and set Spot wallet in the 'from' part and you will see 'bplay games' in the 'to' part.

Quite surprised that bplay also needs our kyc even though they are allowing us to login there through our Binance account? Why are they asking for it when we have our Binance account kyc compliant already?
1119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How long until we can bet with bitcoin in real life casinos? on: November 11, 2020, 08:22:22 PM
There aren't many countries where gambling is legal, so talking about this does not make sense because it will not increase the mass adoption compared to playing with btc online as it can be seen by anybody all around the world without any restrictions, and if there are country restrictions, gamblers still take the risk and gamble there. Why not make chips worth BTC0.001 or more (or less) and give it to their players after they decide their total buy-in value (bankroll)?
1120  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is getting ready for 20k again on: November 11, 2020, 08:09:09 PM
<<>>

The same is true for bitcoin, a great deal of altcoins in 2017 were going through a bubble, but that was not the case of bitcoin which was experimenting exponential growth, it crashed but now we are seeing that the price of 20k was not a mirage and it was just a sign of things to come.

Alts were a game for bulls as bulls did nothing but just bought a lot and pushed the price higher for each alt to create a base for the dump and when innocent small investors started buying those alts from them, the bulls crashed the markets by turning themselves into bears. So accumulation at the least was their formula at that time. And I agree that btc is going to become the show-stealer once again by pumping alone but the same will not be the story for alts this time.
