1321  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Brainwallets. Anyone still using them in 2017? on: June 22, 2017, 09:12:05 PM
If I were you I wouldn't be taking any chances with any brainwallets. Invest a little bit of money in a nice hardware wallet and enjoy your time in Bitcoinlandia. Hardware wallets - that's the way to go  Wink

I was messing around the first half of the Cameroon - Australia match and had a bunch of live bets on over 0.5 goals ranging from 2.50 to 4.00 odds and then I decided to put in this gem of a bet lol   https://sportsbet.io/betslip/H2SDTv2dPywScDK8K @ 9.50 odds right before they took down the first half markets. I got super lucky I guess.

1326  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you include bitcoins in your will (and make it a quest)? on: June 21, 2017, 09:40:43 PM
I would but I am definitely not going to play any funny games with my future kids after I am dead because I don't want to look like a complete jerk  Grin I will include the hardware wallet with my will and give it to the lawyer.
1327  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how to attract investors (500 BTC) for new betting concept on: June 21, 2017, 07:07:21 PM
You need a business partner who is also a crypto currency whale. You sit together and draft a business plan on how to utilize the investment funds. If you need even more funds to keep your business afloat you get another business partner. Profit.

The way the education system is structured now, I wouldn't recommend it," Finman said. "It doesn't work for anyone. I would recommend the internet, which is all free. You can learn a million times more off YouTube and Wikipedia."

Work smart, not hard. This is one smart guy. Hats off to that guy.

BTW I think the link in the OP is borked. Here is another link to the article:   http://www.cnbc.com/2017/06/20/bitcoin-millionaire-erik-finman-says-going-to-college-isnt-worth-it.html

It's a pretty interesting read so give it a go.
1329  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The secret diary of a sports bettor 2017 edition on: June 21, 2017, 05:11:28 PM
Portugal snatched the win vs Russia in a low-scoring match with the lone goal by Cristiano Ronaldo. I thought Portugal would add another one in the 2nd half as they were all over Russia but neither them nor the Russians could score so yeah it was unfortunately a solid under game  Grin

By the way did anyone have Ronaldo to score a goal? I was considering that prop bet but ended up not taking it. Unfortunately again for me  Grin
1330  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: For sports bettors on: June 21, 2017, 12:13:09 PM
Yes. If there are several games worth betting on I would usually bet single stakes throughout the day.
To avoid getting tilted just bet a fixed stake per match regardless of winning or losing.
1331  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fifa Confederations Cup 2017 discussion and predictions Thread on: June 21, 2017, 10:37:53 AM
Germany has by the looks of it their 2nd tier team for the Confederation Cup. If I were you I would bet carefully on any Germany matches and not use high stakes because upsets can happen 100%. Just look at the match vs Australia.

English teams just don't fare well in the CL tournament. I don't think we will see any of them win the trophy next season. Time will tell though Grin

My motto is when in doubt just take BTTS Grin

And today has been the first pre-match diary entry ever and it has been a success.

It's funny how everyone here that's suggesting to ban signature campaigns are all enrolled in them.

Because we all love money obviously. What else do you think we are posting here for? Chit chat?  Grin I wonder what will happen when the business for the more industrialized posters dries up. World famine and mass exodus from the forum?

1340  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia faces shortage of PC graphics cards due to Cryptocurrency mining on: June 20, 2017, 02:44:41 PM
Russia is not the only affected country. Gamers have a hard time finding new graphics cards for their computers because miners have been buying up all the available stock for months and there are even people deliberately buying AMD cards then reselling them for higher prices to get a quick profit. Miners will pay the price no matter what lol. It's actually cheaper to buy and ship cards from overseas than to buy from a local shop. Crazy eh?
