Well I think Mourinho's days in Manchester United are numbered now. Did anyone watch the post-game press conference yesterday? I am really curious to know what his excuse has been this time. I am starting to wonder if United are going to be in top 5 this season with the way the team has been playing lol. It's been 2 rounds but still.
422  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is your Bitcoin total ownership goal? on: August 19, 2018, 05:33:27 PM
I don't have a particular goal in mind regarding Bitcoin. To me, it's just an interesting magical Internet money experiment and I am collecting and spending coins as I go about my daily life. I am not a hardcore hodler either. My assets are in fiat and real estate and Bitcoin is simply tokens I can afford to lose without affecting my livelihood in any way. The more coins I have the better Wink
423  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 19, 2018, 07:53:58 AM
I think if Real Madrid were to break the bank and poach another star player from the Premier league as Ronaldo's replacement that would be Eden Hazard. He is really worth his price tag whereas Kane and Eriksen might not adapt very well in Spain and possibly end up as very expensive substitutes warming the bench throughout the season. I reckon Real might make a move again for Hazard when next transfer window opens.
424  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: August 19, 2018, 07:24:37 AM
Anyone else thinks Kieran Trippier might be the new David Beckham? He scored a fantastic free kick yesterday vs Fulham and also scored another one in the World Cup in Russia. Trippier reminds me of Beckham's best years when he was scoring a lot of goals from free kicks. I think the lad surely draws inspiration from David Beckham  Cheesy To me David Beckham is probably one of the best free-kick takers ever.

Sunday's picks:

Burnley - Watford BTTS & over 2.5
Brighton - Manchester United United to win
425  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: August 18, 2018, 09:41:08 AM
I have a fun little parlay of 4 matches for Saturday afternoon. I picked the games with high odds of around 1.95 on BTTS and the total odds are @ 15.73 with Sportsbet.io boost used.
The games:

Cardiff City - Newcastle United BTTS 2.13
Everton FC - Southampton FC BTTS 1.98
Leicester City - Wolverhampton Wanderers BTTS 1.92
Tottenham Hotspur - Fulham FC BTTS 1.94

I am thinking there will be lots of goals today. Teams are still getting used to the new season so I am hoping for plenty of goal scoring opportunities. Cheers!
426  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Looking for Opinions : Odds Trading VS Crypto Trading on: August 18, 2018, 08:20:13 AM
I think it's worth the time if you are arbitrage betting or hedge betting professionally with a good amount of money. As a hobby or a side income stream it's not worth the time in my honest opinion. You would be better off just putting aside some cash and investing it into a new shitcoin and making a profit off a pump & dump. You just write off that sum as lost at the start and if you make 5x or 10x the initial investment it's great. If not you can rinse and repeat with another altcoin till you strike gold. It's slightly off topic, but I think this is the most efficient way time- and money-wise to make some cash for casual bettors/traders. I am not a professional so I don't day trade or trade at exchanges.
427  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Looking for Opinions : Odds Trading VS Crypto Trading on: August 18, 2018, 06:46:29 AM
You have to be very careful at betting exchanges if you assume the role of the layer, because you run the risk of getting wiped out in one unlucky lay if the liability you have accepted is too high. Normally, I would only back plays as in playing against the house - letting other players make their lay bets and then back them if the odds are any good as I would do at a normal sportsbook. Hedging is more easily done on exchanges though as you could better fine-tune the odds in your favor.

Thanks for all the suggestions, guys! I would love to get my feet wet with e-sports betting soon, but I need to do some reading and researching first  Wink
I will start off by checking some Twitch live-streams to learn more about the tournament games first though. Good luck with your bets, guys  Cheesy

Pretty catchy song I have to admit. Just saw the whole performance on YouTube here for anyone interested https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p1dxq1bBpVw
And Tim Draper whipped out his crystal ball and predicted $250k per Bitcoin by 2022. The announcement is at the very end of the video by the way. The mic drop was cool  Grin
430  Economy / Economics / Re: Almost 80% of US workers live from paycheck to paycheck. Here's why on: August 17, 2018, 07:26:41 PM
Capitalism needs people to spend. The government needs people to spend to keep the economy moving. Unfortunately, this means the government will never teach people to save their money. The whole system is a mess, in my opinion, but you can't fix it by throwing money at it.

This is the perpetual treadmill that USA finds itself on. Many citizens have to work several jobs just to keep up with the bills. It's even commonly accepted that people have huge amounts of debt that they can't handle. What is wrong with society when so much money is being circulated, inflation is so high, but wages can't keep up and people have to work harder and harder to keep themselves from going under?

And yeah, people would just blow that money on useless shit because that's what Hollywood has trained them to do.
Yeah, I really think though that it's more of a culture issue. Maybe an education issue. I mean you point that out too, that Hollywood has trained people how to spend. The thing is that Americans spend all the money they have and even more. People work several jobs to keep up with the bills, but they are almost always spending on things that they could get by without. People in the middle class and even into the upper class are also spending more than they make. Everybody wants more more more. They just complain less about it. I guess they have a bit of a conscience that makes it hard to complain about not having enough money for a bigger house and a third Mercedes.

USA has been touted to be 'land of the free' and 'country where dreams come true', but it has all turned out to be a mirage. College graduates are leaving the system deep in debt with no job security as having a diploma nowadays doesn't guarantee employment. A law or a medical degree for example costs in the ballpark of $100k-$150k and people are basically slaves to the banks for many years to come not taking into account any other loans they might have taken out like car or house loans etc. No wonder people are living paycheck to paycheck.
431  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dota 2 - The international 2018 on: August 17, 2018, 06:03:27 PM
Is there a website or a blog or something where I could find information about e-sport experts' analysis of the games and predictions for who is going to win etc.? I would like to get into e-sport betting Smiley Are there a lot of teams to follow? I would imagine the e-sport scene is not as big as other sports and it's easier to keep tabs on the favourites.

Please provide proof that either of these people have consumed shit/excreata. Also specify time and date along with a verifiable independent witness.

Well cats lick their own butt holes by nature so I don't know what proof you are looking for buddy  Grin They are literally eating their own shit every single day.

Sorry guys I couldn't help myself   Cheesy
434  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: August 16, 2018, 11:55:07 AM
No one strangely is naming Feyenoord team. I think it will be one of the best games to watch and I am sure it will have a lot of goals. It is also my main tip in my tipping thread, the bet of Feyenoord to win and Over 2.5 goals with an odd 1.8 or so.

I looked into the Feyenoord match and was debating earlier today whether or not to bet on that game, but the odds for Feyenoord to win were just too low like 1.25 and they are 4 goals down on top of that. I was thinking maybe Feyenoord to win both halves @ 1.65 as I am not so confident in them scoring 4 or more goals today. Trencin might park the bus and play super defensively the whole match.
435  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: August 16, 2018, 08:31:03 AM
The Super Cup match didn't disappoint and I am glad Real took a beating Grin It seems no Ronaldo no party and I am curious to see who will be his replacement. There was plenty of goals and whoever bet on overs made bank  Cool Today we have lots of Europa League 2nd leg semi-final qualifiers. I will post my favorite picks:

UFA to win
Basel - Vitesse BTTS & over 2.5
Partizan to win
Rapid Vienna - Slovan Bratislava BTTS & over 2.5
Burnley to win
FCSB to win
Braga -1

Good luck!
436  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Kim Kardashian promoting Bitcoin on instagram. During Poker Game. on: August 16, 2018, 07:58:53 AM
I bet that physical Bitcoin is not even loaded with anything  Grin Kim is riding the Bitcoin hype train as any self-respecting celebrity would to get even more Instagram followers. Has Dan Bilzerian also posed for a photo with his Bitcoin stash? If not he has some catching up to do haha  Cool
437  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin for Daily Fantasy Sports on: August 15, 2018, 08:32:43 PM
I think the traffic to the CoinRoster Bitcoin Fantasy Sports website is very low, because there are only few games open/in-play shown on the front page and looks like they only support American Sports and a bunch of prop bets and Bitcoin futures. No soccer unfortunately. Is the site really running on WordPress or is it just the blog/faq side of it? Because if the main site is really running on WordPress that's pretty impressive.
438  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin for Daily Fantasy Sports on: August 15, 2018, 05:43:25 PM
I like fantasy sports and I actually used to play on ggfantasy with Bitcoin and it was a lot of fun especially the Premier League competitions. There are many fantasy sports fans around the world and there is definitely a market for that outside the USA. But it's sort of social gambling where players compete against each other and not against the house, so maybe that's why no common sportsbooks are interested in adding fantasy sports as it would require a lot of extra effort and possibly quite the infrastructure costs.

Do you have some bets in mind today? I think people would appreciate some e-sport tips here as there aren't many bettors left that bet on e-sports. There was one guy named the mexican or something who was a very successful e-sport bettor and had a nice profitable thread running, but unfortunately he stopped posting a while ago. If you know about any banker bets feel free to share them with us  Wink

I am really hoping we are in for a treat tonight. I don't think the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo will make the match less exciting as there are enough players in both teams capable of scoring goals who hopefully are going to step up their game tonight. I took BTTS in the 2nd half @ 3.25 odds. Good luck everyone and enjoy the game!
