Have you asked them to close your account on your behalf?

To outsiders and people new to the forum the 'helpful and quality posts' you are talking about might seem 'genuinely helpful and oozing quality and substance' but the reality is they are just bloated artificial adhering to the 75-100 characters minimum quota-fulfilling run-of-the-mill generic posts. We can see and smell these from a mile away. This is how things work here - you write a bunch of stuff and you get paid.

Now what is the purpose of this forum? I will tell you. To get traffic and sell ads - major purpose. In-between we have the campaign runners, the campaign farmers, the people picking up scraps from giveaways, the people doing trades, the people scamming, the people trolling, the wannabe forum police, the psychopaths etc. It's a diverse ecosystem depending on you guess what - the signature campaigns.

I am embracing the fees so hard right now. I am hugging them closely and won't let them go. Because my life is not complete without these fucking fees man! Freedom in fees, fees in freedom. Fuck yeah!
1344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Best Wallets for Alt Coins? on: June 19, 2017, 06:35:30 PM
Hey Guys..

New to coins but getting some decent investments going and plan to be active here.

My coins are in poloniex but I wanted to get them into a wallet.

I have ETH, SIA, XRP, STRAT.

What's the best / safest way to store them?  I heard cold storage wallets.

What do you guys recommend?

Thanks!

The Ledger Nano S is a hardware wallet that can hold your ETH, XRP and STRAT.

1345  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $0.85 transaction fee is absolutely ridiculous! on: June 19, 2017, 06:20:55 PM
Am I the only one realizing that ~$1 fee to make a transaction is absolutely insane and defeats one of the core benefits of using bitcoin for daily transactions.

This is getting insane and is completely uncalled for, or am I wrong?

I think the transaction fee of $ 0.85 is not much and it does not matter how long it takes to complete a transaction

When the fee is 20%-50% of the total funds being moved it's unacceptable and ridiculous. For example it costs 10$ to buy a 8$ game off Steam. This is just insane. I barely move any BTC around these days because I don't want to eat the shitty fees.

Talking about dinosaurs and stuff. Isn't Wenger like the only real dinosaur left in the EPL at the moment?  Grin

1350  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $8 fee? for a $73 transaction? Really what the fuc is going on? on: June 19, 2017, 05:34:40 AM
I did spend 5 USD just to get my 40 usd from blockchain. It's still kinda cheep compared to other money transfer companeys Smiley i would still use bitcoin.

Sorry but this is not cheap. Just imagine doing this on a daily basis. You will be essentially losing money on ridiculously inflated fees. Sometimes Bitcoin fanboism is just not healthy at all  Grin
1351  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The secret diary of a sports bettor 2017 edition on: June 18, 2017, 08:55:50 PM
So today is a wrap and after everything is added up I have gained around 1 unit. I am trying very aggressive livebetting on higher odds and also trying to sorta hedge mid-flight as well to keep the losses at minimum if things aren't looking good. Seems to work for now. And the ROI today could have been much much more if the video assisted refereeing in the Confederation Cup games didn't disallow some goals but oh well  Grin I guess this video assisted refereeing will lead to less goals and will surely make people mad but this is the future and we need to get used to it.

On a side note I am waiting for the NHL Draft and I am very curious to see which players Vegas Golden Knights will get.

Not posting any slips cause I have had around 25-30 today lol  Grin

Alex Ferguson was a dinosaur and past his best too but look at what he has achieved. Mourinho needs time to get the full squad he wants and this can't happen in the first season he is at the helm of the club. I think we need to cut him some slack  Grin
1353  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin transaction fees over 30%? on: June 18, 2017, 11:42:28 AM
My BitPay app shows that in order to buy a Big Mac for exactly $5 I need to pay 30.50% in fees of the total sum. That is the Normal fee setting. Fuck that Grin I don't foresee getting rid of my bank account any time soon.
1354  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: June 18, 2017, 11:14:43 AM
I expected to see Real Madrid to win, but didn't expect this goal fest.
With the scores tied at half time, there was no clue about what was to happen in the second half. Real were practically unstoppable, scoring 3 goals to take the final tally to 4-1. Real showed their true class and retained the trophy.

I whole heartely agree.
I can see them taking the Super Cup next month too.

They are the best team in the world now.
No doubts about this now that Barcelona has not shown what mettle they are truly made of last season in La Liga. Embarrassed

We should not go into conclusions so quickly, Mourinho is a far better tactician than Zidane and i know he is going to upset Real Madrid and win the Super Cup for Manchester United.

Yup I second that. Mourinho preaches boring but efficient style of playing football. If that means 90 minutes of trying to outwit one another and no goals so be it. The CL final was absolutely spectacular and maybe we are in for a 'boring' Super Cup game  Wink
1355  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The secret diary of a sports bettor 2017 edition on: June 18, 2017, 06:09:04 AM
Thanks. I have decided to use a scoring system of 1 to 10 to describe my emotions and what is going through my head while I am betting and I think that it makes for a very interesting read sometimes especially coupled with the considerably sized odds mostly from livebetting  Grin I am still  figuring out how to gauge correctly the values in the scoring system but as it's entirely for fun I think it's coming out pretty alright  Wink

My action is dominated by live plays right now but you can expect pre-match bets as well.
We have very interesting international games tonight and I will be checking the starting squads later on and making some bets hopefully.
Happy Sunday everyone  Cool

Electrum 100% safe?
Becareful when you post there's no need to post the same thing just merge them to avoid double posting.Yes electrum is safe afaik and i'm also using their wallet. Always save/make a backup so you won't lose access of your coins.

Thank You, Electrum seems super fast. It doesn't appear to take up that much space on HDD? Is that true?

Why don't you just download the software and see for yourself? Or better yet get a hardware wallet and save on your precious HDD space.

Had a great livebetting session today focusing on the Confederation Cup and the Euro U21.

4 livebets ranging between the odds of 2.70 and 4.45 and I think around 400% ROI.

One little problem here is that theymos sells ad packages and that means he doesn't get paid by displaying ad impressions to visitors. So he doesn't care who is seeing what ads on the forum  Wink
