1381  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: looking for the best cappers on here!!! willing to pay 500 a month for the best! on: June 13, 2017, 06:27:23 PM
If you really want to pay for picks you can check out Blogabet. There are cappers there selling monthly subscriptions as low as 50$ with a proven track record. I think paying for tips is money wasted anyways.

1383  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Due To Popular Demand" Goldman Starts Covering Bitcoin. on: June 13, 2017, 05:51:18 PM
Wall street is filled with idiots. If you believe they know more about bitcoin than you do, you are wrong. Im sure I know more about bitcoin than anyone on any of those hedge funds. They don't know shit about bitcoin, I don't care how fat their wallets are.

Anyway, they are welcome to join the boat with their $billions.

Yes but your Bitcoin knowledge doesn't equate more money for you right? Wall Street traders don't need to understand Bitcoin to play the market. Bitcoin is just a fucking stock for them. They definitely have the money to make even more money and they don't care about the Bitcoin philosophy.
1384  Other / MultiBit / Re: Multibit problems on: June 13, 2017, 05:35:04 PM
Posting this for a friend 2000+ miles away who is hopeless with computers.

He recently got into BTC.  Downloaded latest MultiBit, wrote down his seed phrase, set his password.

Now it's telling him the password is no good.  He swears it's the right one.

Tried using Mycelium on his phone with the seed phrase.  It said it was correct, but zero BTC.

I can look up his address and see he has BTC in there, so it is unlikely he was hacked.

Any idea how to recover this?

I had the same problem with the incorrect password bug. One important thing to keep in mind about Multibit HD is that their seed is compressed and not compatible with other wallets. It's normal that you see no balance when you have tried importing the Multibit HD seed into Mycelium.

There is a workaround described in that thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1733063.0

You have to essentially extract the private keys of the addresses holding coins and import them into another wallet like Electrum for example.

If you need any help you can PM me and I will walk you through the process of recovering your friend's unaccessible coins. Don't worry they are not lost  Wink
1385  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: btc crash now = TOP buying opportunity ? on: June 12, 2017, 07:55:12 PM

LOL
Here is about $500 in few Hours.
Find me some mad, who accept to be payd in BTC with such volatility.

Bitcoin is just an investment vehicle. People should stop comparing it to fiat  Wink
1386  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Free test! - AvsBsports.eu on: June 12, 2017, 07:41:33 PM
You have maybe the slickest user interface I have ever seen on a Bitcoin sportsbook. Really good job guys, the design of the site is very neat.
I have one question though. Do you require any KYC personal documents when customers request withdrawals in Bitcoin? Thanks!
1387  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] FAKE ME on: June 12, 2017, 06:57:19 PM
I think your username is easily exploitable in the sense that when one 'l' is removed it still looks like the original you with two l's and when people are in a hurry and don't pay attention they could take the impostor for the real you.
1388  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ice Hockey Bets - GO PREDS! on: June 12, 2017, 04:47:33 AM
Pittsburgh Penguins won the Stanley Cup as expected. Unfortunately Nashville Predators ran out of gas in the final and I was rooting for them to win.
I saw one guy's comment that the Penguins are the Patriots of the NHL and I can't agree more.

See you next season  Cheesy
1389  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ice Hockey Bets - GO PREDS! on: June 11, 2017, 06:53:25 PM
Scratch that Predators tip from earlier. I am going with the Penguins tonight to win Game 6 and win the cup. Penguins ML.

1391  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to FIAT ratio on: June 11, 2017, 11:41:53 AM
At the moment about 55% bitcoin & 45% fiat. The % was heavily in favour of fiat but over the last year or so after the price had boomed it's tipped in favour of bitcoin.

Keeping my stash in cold storage though now until after the next halving.

Bold decision I must say. Are you buying that 55% stake in Bitcoin with your fiat salary? Do you wait for the price to drop a little bit before buying or it doesn't matter for you?

1393  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which is the min. BTC amount to own that will make you rich one day? on: June 10, 2017, 01:55:31 PM
1 million dollars in BTC equivalent after taxes. Enough to have a decent life, travel around the world and be financially independent. Not enough to have a lavish life in a huge mansion driving a super car but who needs that anyway?
1394  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would anyone be interested in doing pool betting on the English Premier League? on: June 10, 2017, 08:02:52 AM
The minimum stake is currently 20 pounds. You can see who has staked what in the first post of the thread.
1395  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ice Hockey Bets - GO PREDS! on: June 08, 2017, 06:17:19 PM
So game 5 tonight and the series is tied 2-2. It looks like the home advantage is very important and the home teams have won all their games so far. I think the Penguins should win tonight. Then the Predators should win Game 6 and then hopefully Game 7 and lift the cup.

Tonight's pick - Penguins ML
Future bets  - Predators ML Game 6 & Predators to win the cup in 7 games

As the value of bitcoin has rocketed skywards over the last few months, we heard from you guys that our minimum stake of 1 mBTC was beginning to become too expensive for a quick bet on your favorite team.

We’ve heard you and agree, and have now reduced the minimum bet to 0.1 mBTC.

BIG NEWS  Shocked

Just got that message in the mail. OMG this is what I have wanted for a while. It's about time guys thanks so much for lowering the minimum stake.  Cheesy

I received a free vouch copy from BookAddict which is for a picture-heavy travel book by Lonely Planet costing around $20.
I confirm that the book I received today is legit. Also BookAddict did a very quick turnaround delivering the book.
1399  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: bittrex is a scam website - AVOID!- WITH PROOF!! on: June 07, 2017, 04:59:52 AM
They are stalling you for your withdrawal of 0.11BTC? Is that everything you have deposited with them till now? Man this sucks. I was going to sell some GBYTE on their exchange but now I am starting to have second thoughts.
1400  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Selling nitrogensports accounts . on: June 06, 2017, 03:16:22 PM
Wondering the same. Probably just to show off your lower ID number in the chat I really can't think of any other reason. Or maybe to ask for loans in the troll box as this is a pretty common thing over there.

Anyways. What ballpark figure do you want for these 6-digit ones just out of curiosity?
