Mainstream (Conservative/Liberal) political parties are necessary to create the illusion that people elect politicians to represent them. The reality is that these political parties are mostly just extensions of powerful business interests and wealthy people in general. The only REAL political parties are Green Parties and groups like the Pirate Party in Europe. But these don't have enough support.

Just go watch Edge of Tomorrow. Blockbuster of the summer, if not a year. Awesome movie.
Edge of Tommorow is really good. We haven't had good sci-fi movies in a while so it's quite refreshing. Tom Cruise still got it at 50+. My personal recommendation for a movie that will fuck with your mind: "Enemy" with Jake Gyllenhaal. |

I don't get this plan at all. Dzagoev out at 80+ minutes again. He is such a talented player and he gives him barely any time to play. Vs. Korea he came out and immediately set up a goal. What is Capello thinking?

People like Kompany, Vertonghen, and Vermaelen, all really experienced defenders won't have a hard time against Russia. But still a very unpredictable game.
If the Russian coach continues with Kokorin and Samedov, then the Belgian defence won't be having any troubles at all.  Especially Samedov was pathetic in the last match against South Korea. They should play Kerzhakov and Dzagoyev from the start. Yury Zhirkov was also out of touch in the last match. Replacing him with Roman Shirokov won't be a bad idea. That said, the Russian defence is much better than their attack and midfield. Their defenders such as Vasili Berezutskiy, Sergey Ignashevich, and Dmitry Kombarov are very experienced and capable players. Couldn't agree any more. This really bothered me about the first match. Very stupid decision-making by Capello. |

My predictions (or hopes? ) for tommorow: Portugal over USA 2-1. USA has good defense but barely any offensive power. As long as Portugal doesn't crumble mentally they should be able to win. Russia over Belgium 3-2 because I want my home country to get out of group stage. Korea 1-0 over Algeria because I don't know anything about Algeria's team. |

Ghana was a big upset, and that Bosnia goal is a robbery. |

Although the Swiss have lost they have arguably the strongest team spirit out there. They're not fouling, still playing with good sportsmanship and scoring goals. Impressive tenacity.

That was a silly penalty call because the French wouldn't have scored from that position anyway - he had no room to pass the ball. But thankfully they didn't score the penalty so we still have a game.

WTF just happened? I was seriously thinking about betting in favor of Italy, but cancelled my plans at the last minute. Never in my wildest dreams I expected something like this. Anyway... who will qualify from the group? Italy or Uruguay?  My gamble paid off. I just had a feeling after Costa Rica's 3-1 victory over Uruguay. |
