1843  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Block Size Debate, finally an ideal solution: Bitcoin Unlimited on: November 21, 2016, 07:34:41 AM
Bitcoin Unlimited won't happen unless the Chinese Mining Pools agree to implement it ,
since they control over 51% of the mining hash.

 Cool

this wont happen any time soon maybe in several year when they start to lose if the start to lose domination on market
considering they control mining power all over the world think that they will decide how it will be one one way or the other
1844  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin died tomorrow on: November 20, 2016, 02:47:14 PM
move to another coin is a first choice , in crypto currency have a lot coin
eventhough bitcoin is a best coin Cheesy

this is wrong if bitcoin dies all crypto would die so eventually we will lose everything invested or placed in any crypto was it bitcoin or any other
from look of thing this will not happen any time soon or it will never happen at all
we have lot of investment and many new featured for upcoming year so price will go up for some point not go down

it not good to be so negative in ways of bitcoin think positive you will have more
1845  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: November 20, 2016, 02:43:41 PM
Quite the match for today Milan derby

Milan - Inter

hard to pick match winner quite high the odd over 2.6 for each winner and 3.2 for draw this is way to high can decide what to play both team have some players injured and i have some feeling that match will end up with draw, for goals if I decide to place bet would go under 2.5 goals cuz in last several matches they only scored once over 3 goals
1846  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: November 20, 2016, 02:40:44 PM
Murray vs Djokovic that is true in this game Djokovic will have to play 3rd set too because it is going to see real resistance after having completely one sided games recently. I have same thought when it to pick the most appropriate option and that seems only over 2.5 sets. Murray may be able to win this time being in more good form now.

he might but fast from yesterdays games are that Murray played 3 exciting sets with Raonic where both players have match point and Murray at the end won he played more then 3 hours match and that may be his backfire, on the other hand Djokovic quite easy got his match and seem to be determent to take again first spot at this season end

expect great match to see with 3 sets that would be quite well to see and in the end may the best player win and take first place for this season

both players have played good Djokovic first part and Murray second, good is that they will play each other to determine the best tennis player for this year
1847  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: November 20, 2016, 02:36:12 PM
Cristiano Ronaldo are the nightmare monster to Atletico Madrid, scoring 18 in Madrid Derby, broke the record held by Di Stefano. Hat trick against such a strong club is such of unbelievable, with a bit of lucky of course. Cristiano Ronaldo to win the Balloon D'or,  I think no one will argue about that anymore.

HE was quite lucky indeed to score 3 goals in the derby, he hasnt score anything from penalty since few weeks ago. He missed a few penalty and he scored one in the derby so he was indeed quite lucky. The best thing for them is probably not only about winning against atletico madrid but that barcelona get a draw from their match

i dont call this luck he really play excellent in Madrid derbies all the time and think that this yesterday was his greatest match in matches vs atletico and real
game was great in all the way and by play real really deserve that win
1848  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price volatility on: November 19, 2016, 06:00:52 PM
I predicted it could happen. but it did not happen this year. may be 1000 USD will occur at the beginning of the month in 2017. bitcoin price developments very fast and well controlled with very nice.
Yeah I also speculated it to happen few months after halving but it didn't. If the current up-trend continues then surely we can expect $1000 in early months of 2017.

most likely that it will be in q1 of next year
this i expect if this price rise continues to go over 800 and realistically it can stay like that expect around xmas to be that price maybe in some range at least 790-810 just that we can say we are over 800 or at least in that price range

dont think we will see 1000 this year but we never now we might see this at late december but this i have hopes for it in q1 2017

Madrid derby today late tonight it will be good this is good opportunity for Atletico to come close to rivals real and barca but match will be hard no matter that they play home still they have point behind but in this match they have chance to come close to them will they succeed will know tonight

my betting options is both team to score and over 2.5 goals
1853  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: November 19, 2016, 09:10:01 AM
Dortmund - Bayern Munich more chances are to see draw between them but this will not be without goals. They both are facing problem of weak defense so both teams to score yes @1.72 is just perfect for having bet on it. I just skipped all the matches and took this for this as it shows true potential of winning on it.

right team have problem but solvable here i will go for Dortmund win cuz they play home and i give them little bigger chances for win on this match
also i think to place bet both team to score or to play over 2.5 goals cuz those two bet can also come in this match
1854  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: November 19, 2016, 09:08:15 AM
Big match today (by the way we have them in Europe this weekend a lot) Manchester Arsenal, in perspective Arsenal is in better form but they play on old traford so match will be hard.
I will go here for under 1.5 goals HT and both team to score bet winner is hard to predict but for sake of championship it would be great to MNU wins
1855  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: November 18, 2016, 10:30:12 AM
Gambling has become one of the most popular pastimes for people today. Whether it’s betting on your favourite football team, playing the slot machine at a local casino, or pulling the trigger in a risky round of Russian roulette, gambling never seems to lose its appeal. It’s easy to understand why people decide to take up gambling – who wouldn’t want to earn a few extra dollars without having to break a sweat?

But i found something interesting, several psychological reasons why some gamblers never seem to get enough. Five main reasons are explained below.

Quote
1. Partial reinforcement [showmyads]

You don’t have to be a psychologist to know that reinforcement strengthens behaviour. Reinforcement may be provided on a continuous basis, such as when a child gets $1.00 every time he wins a game of Scrabble, or on a partial basis, as when a person wins at the slot machine after 6, 20, or 100 tries.  As counter-intuitive as it may seem, behaviours tend to persist longer when they are partially rather than continuously reinforced, and this is a major reason why casinos are hardly ever out of business. People don’t expect to win every single time they gamble so when they encounter a loss or even a string of losses, it comes as no big surprise. It’s simply counted as part of the game. Nevertheless, gamblers do expect to be reinforced some of the time and it is this expectation, this belief that “I’ll get lucky next time” that motivates them to continue. They can never be sure which bet will produce rewards but they believe that if they play long enough their patience will eventually pay off…literally!

2. Availability heuristic

This describes the tendency of individuals to overestimate the probability of an occurrence simply because it comes readily to mind. Many people believe that plane crashes occur more frequently than they actually do, because such accidents usually receive extensive news coverage, and are therefore more easily recalled than say, car accidents. Cases of persons winning the lottery jackpot are also widely publicized, causing them to stand out in people’s minds. Gamblers might therefore overestimate the probability that they will experience similar winnings because they have vivid memories of these rare success stories. Even when the odds are against them, their faulty reasoning leads them to believe that they have a great chance to win.

3. Gambler’s fallacy

People often make the mistake of thinking that future events occurring in a random sequence will be influenced by past events. This error in thinking is very common among gamblers which explains how the phenomenon got its name. For example, if a person flips a coin 10 times and it comes up heads every time, he might reason that he will get tails on the next try because it is “overdue.” In reality, the probability of getting tails on the 11th try is still 50% – the same as it was on each of the previous 10 tries. The gambler’s fallacy might cause persons to continue investing in a game of chance even after suffering terrible losses, because they think they are “due” for a win.

4. Illusion of control

Although gambling activities are often directed solely by chance, many gamblers mistakenly believe that they have some amount of control over the outcome. Thus, they might blow on the dice before they throw or perform some other ritual before a game, assuming that such actions will increase their chances of winning. Since people are more likely to invest in an activity when they believe they can influence the results, the illusion of control actually encourages gamblers to persist in persist in their efforts.

5. Loss aversion

This refers to the fact that people are usually more sensitive to losses than to gains of equal value. In other words, the pain an individual feels over losing $100 will likely be greater than the pleasure he feels over gaining that same amount of money. As such, a person might go through more trouble to collect money owed to him than to try to win a prize of equal worth. After experiencing a string of losses, a gambler might continue to invest time and money beyond a reasonable limit, not because the potential gain is especially appealing but because the pain of past losses is agonizing.  Even when gamblers are aware that they cannot possible win back all that they have lost, they often persist in desperate attempts to recover at least some of their losses.
1856  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: November 18, 2016, 07:51:40 AM
well today games will be interesting

Murray A. (Gbr) - Wawrinka S. (Sui)
Nishikori K. (Jpn) - Cilic M. (Cro)

with interesting i mean interesting cuz in some crazy scenario Murray cant play semis
if Wawrinka wins with 2-0 in sets and Nishikori wins the same Murray will be 3rd in table what a boomer
he need only 1 set to go in semis but there he will be playing in that case with Djokovic and believe that he want to pass this one

so he will have to win and Wawrinka plays best vs 1st players in history so i would expect to see epic battle today from them in second game even if Cilic wins this wont change anything for him he wont be in semis
1857  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Soccer Transfer Market 2016/2017 ! on: November 18, 2016, 07:27:09 AM
he will most likely go to Newcastle I read something that he has option to go to Newcastle or Celtic yes even to back to Liverpool but with klopp as coach he wont play that much
If Gerrard really back to Europe, I dont think he will play in any Premier League team except Liverpool. Yeah we know his chance to play with Liverpool again is pretty low, since Klopp prefers younger players to play on the pitch. Glasgow Celtic is the good option for him, because this team playing in Champions League regularly in every season.
i think Gerard will be rational because his age doesn't fit anymore to playing with high level on Liverpool and i do know he is a legend but in my opinion Newcastle is more suitable for him or at least he will work together again with Benitez and as far as i know that newcastle a has a great chance to go back to EPL next season because their performance on championship league is very good so if Gerard went to Newcastle maybe next season he would play on EPL

some new new come up with Gerard he wont be playing at all he is learning to go for UEFA A Licence for coaching
he is willing to take 3rd league club from England Milton Keynes cuz they play poor and they haven't wont game for almost 2 month very bad performance

still i can see him as coach maybe newspapers are writing this stuff to sell more but for me he could play for another year
1858  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Bitcoin and real money? on: November 18, 2016, 07:18:14 AM

Bitcoin has no use value, only exchange value, and because it is has no worth in use other than what others are willing to pay for it, it is always in a bubble: these happen when prices of assets get dislodged from their fundamental value. So Bitcoin is the perfect bubble.

Now the obvious question that this raises is the following: Is Bitcoin so different from the dollar? A dollar bill also has no use other than what people are willing to pay for it. And if people decide they wish to trust the people who create Bitcoins more than their own government, then perhaps it could be an alternative medium of exchange.
1859  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Bitcoin and real money? on: November 17, 2016, 09:22:28 AM
Lot of difference is there between  bitcoin and real money .
Just the name is money but bitcoin is actually a form of digital asset. It is just a set of numbers stored in computer. Whereas real money are printed and are issued my central government and they impose taxes on money but bitcoin is completely different from real money.
People only know bitcoin  as digital money and well it was the easiest word to introduce
Fiat money get taxed while bitcoin untraceable and no taxes at all
This makes people interested to use bitcoin due to free taxes but frequently abusable
Bitcoin more flexible to use the only problem is to find a store to spend.

finding store is very hard and that may be only problem for users to accept bitcoin as means of paying or purchasing something
i believe that we(bitcoin community) will solve this in near future and that solution will influence bigger grow of users that will go for bitcoin as payment
also main big plus is tax no matter how much you send in bitcoin you will be charged same but with flat you will have some percentage payed that is beauty of bitcoin

mainly think that they need to know bitcoin better not just like you mentioned as digital money just like any other money in the world
1860  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: EBay and Bitcoin on: November 17, 2016, 08:20:46 AM
the first thing is there are more paypal and usd dollar user compare to bitcoin users, ebay amazon or any big shop still haven't see the potential of bitcoin, and i think they are afraid of the negative reputation of bitcoin which will affected their reputation, but i believe one day ebay will be accepted bitcoin, if bitcoin got a good reputation and there are already a lot of people use bitcoin

ok they are many paypal users but still they are countries that dont allow paypay or allow in some point for example in my country i can only store money on paypal i can purchase or withdrawn them later this is bad but when i send bitcoin to my money account goes smooth with no issues

still think that in no so far future i mean in next few years we will see bitcoin accepted on ebay and amazon
