Just some positive news is enough to push the price past $3,500 in a matter of weeks. Let's just hang on tight and buy while we still can because we don't want to be left behind regretting not buying at these levels. Sure the price is going to correct at some point also, but the trend this year, and even the long term, is still upward with lots of room for growth in the years to come.
Yeah bitcoin can achieve that price in coming months but our first destination should be to achieve the price of $3000 and if its done then it will not take too long to reach to the the price of $3500 as the current positive growth in bitcoin suggests that trend will continue in a same way in coming months too. This upcoming period will be stable dont think that before September will see any change in price, maybe im wrong and some other event will trigger something that will influence that price goes high again. But this is for now my point of view, September will be crucial for next change in price will that happen then or some time before or after that we will see when this comes. |

I prefer to invest my Bitcoin in ICO, and some of the ICOs I'm involved make my Bitcoin grow, and I'm not interested in invest in gambling sites because I don't have good knowledge about gambling site.
You can do both thing and it can be good. Off course invest in gambling site is long term with small income and when you invest in ico then it can be good TAAS is good example from last ICO, but also you may have losing if ICO turn out to be scam or bad. |

There is no smart way to gamble, the smartest thing to do with gambling would be to avoid it overall IMO. The odds are always against the player particularly in casino games and dice, and regardless of the strategy the player is in the negative... However in sport betting, the trick of playing both sides in different SB's and getting the difference in odds is the only definitively profitable gambling strategy.
Here is something that you can call smart bet betting on same sport game with quote at least 2.05 or more (must be over 2), then on same game but on different sport betting site made 2 bets both bet must be on goals. One is on under 2.5 goals other is over 2.5 goals, you win 0.05 or more depends on the quote. Only thing here is that you need to find game hard work is but smart gambling. |

Subscribing to the thread - I've been meaning to look into Peercoin but didn't get around to it yet.
My main coins are currently XMG, LSK, EGC, IXC and DOGE all of which are running at low prices right now, I'm using the opportunity to accumulate on most of them. Hopefully they will pick up again in 2017
I am not interested in dogecoin because the price does not change any better coin steller. I'll be buying DOGE again when the price is below 40 next - might have to wait a couple of months, or longer if the Chinese year of the dog keeps price inflated No one can say the future of doge what if the price will hit 1000 satoshi . I have millions of doge and I buy doge again If the price goes down at 50 satoshi. Even doge price is very low you can earn also profit by buying dogecoin because you can earn a lot of profit this because the price is very cheap unlike to the other coin the price is very big. But it depends to you we have dufferent opinions and I believe dogecoin will pump at 1000 satoshi. Dunno about DOGE he remains the same by me. I did expect to see him to be pumped but nothing maybe he will be later pumped. But still its one of coins that have large community and support very good for this coin who is obviously downgraded. Maybe it is good call to stash as many as possible if price change even for small margin you can make good profit. |

After massive dumping for the weekend price is stable around 2500 (on some exchanges little over it), so after this i expect to see stable price in 2500 range. Hope it wont be another massive dumping, but expect to see price going up little again after week or two.

This is why we must try to avoid being manipulated by them, every time there is a bubble people try to sell at the top and then when they see a huge dump they sell their coins, but since bitcoin is going to reach in my opinion incredible amounts of money in the future any bitcoin that you hold could make a big difference in the future. That is not within our control if it really happens the day in bitcoin if crash going to come, but at the same time if crashing at 1500, then it does not matter that much that will still be a very high value and it will give to us an opportunity to buy bitcoin. I think that's deserving price to have now, I don’t think we are going to see ever again prices below 1000; because not all populations of china investors were dumping it all and it's also common thing thar had happened here in us even outside china also dumps bitcoin for harvesting the earned profit; we called freedom of finances. I agree it is out of our control but the bitcoin we are holding is in our control. So it is either we decided to exit or hold and wait for the upcoming pump. Though I do not think that someone is dumping , but I believe that someone with a huge stash of bitcoin is trying to manipulate the price for his own profit. We are in control, now when price is stable we will see how will it be in next few days or weeks. Perhaps it will be next price rise but i dont think until that decision in September, will this be good or bad time will tell. Sad I bought this at 0.018. But I didn't cut loss because I am still confident $50 is very possible this year.
Price correction for every coin is now so dont expect in next days or weeks for this to happen but quite optimistic is to be at that price cuz last time it was 40 when btc was 1200 Since 2015 I am familiar with LTC, and currently I have 73 LTC for my stock. I'm sure this coin will not hurt, and I will save while waiting for LTC to rise at its peak
It should occur in this year to see this high peak all coins except LTC were at top of this so only one that remains is LTC and this should be happening this year. |

Many people will be a millionaire or even a billionaire thanks to their bitcoin investment in 20 years. The prediction of the future bitcoin price is impossible but. Best models which predict the prices are logarithmic forms. This means the future price will be unbelievable.
I guess there will be thousands of billionaires and for the millionaires there will a lot of younger generations that will become on that point because of bitcoin. For sure a lot of us will have 100 bitcoins on their wallet or even more this is an average holder quantity of bitcoin for each person that started to earn with bitcoin today. If this happens, then the prices for everything will have to grow because of the huge money supply that Bitcoin will create. Knowing bitcoin, having it has a cap of coins, which will be reached around a decade or so? The price of bitcoin will still continue to rise, knowing that the price of it entices new people or people who have money to invest and would try to mean there would be mass adoption and that's good for Bitcoin. That's really a part of society now, the technological era. We are long ago in technological era, and bitcoin will be here for very long time and we will see in this 20 years, so many good thing. Price will go over 3k, then 5k and we will withness 5 digits in price. He will be adopted by then in all major economies in the world. |

Crash is inevitable and we are prepared for it.The crash would be temporary and the price of bitcoins would rocket upto 3000$.

What we got after huge bull run was just a correction not a crash and I don't think we are in any types of bubble right now to expect big crash. Correction is normal after big pump like this.
Absolutely price correcting will be in order in next few days until its stable again, and then we will see will be up or down with the price. Im not worry yet i will start if and when price goes under 2000 but think that this correction will issues price as it is now 2200-2400 and this is perhaps best solution. |

I think more than that. not all gamblers are gambling for the money. some gamblers do it just for the sake of the fun they get when they gamble. there are people who think about profits first and those people are the ones who most of the time would get their heart broken and then delve deeper to chase losses. there are also those who see gambling as just a way to release stress. Gabmen nice said, especially last part on this. Some doctor even say that it is good way for it. Off course still large number of gamblers are into this for the money and profit, or they dont know any other way or they dont want to try anything else. I've had enough of btc and its rising fees along with many hours of unconfirmed transactions. No one should have to continuously chase fees just to get a quick confirmation. You can switch to litecoins because their network is very fast and they already activated segwit so it will be a lot faster than before which is opposite on what is currently happening in bitcoin now but if you can wait then i think segwit will be on bitcoin soon, so it is better to wait because if that rumor is true then the price will go up. While a majority of the users in this forum will like to get segwit activated I don’ know where you get the information bitcoin is going to activate soon, I think we are going to have to wait a long time to see segwit activated, if ever, I will love segwit to be activated because not only that will mean that bitcoin could get faster confirmations but also the price will skyrocket too. You can find it that they are rumor and talks about it to be activated around 15th September in in late September. This is really maybe biggest decision to be made in quite long time for bitcoin and bitcoin community. What will be effect it is still nothing confirmed for sure only some speculation to what would be good or bad. |

What is happening with litecoin,when all the major alt coins are having a very good rally the price of litecoin is not improving at all and i did make a huge investment earlier and i had to sell off at a loss ,i thought the price would rally after the segwit activation but things went downhill after that,hope the price will recover.
All good coins which are worth investing in for long term are moving at a slow pace. Litecoin is amongst them. Now I don't think so it would be left behind. I am predicting and pretty sure that it would reach 50$ in this year. Having a cap limit of 84 mln will definitely take it to somewhere 1BTC:10LTC approx. in its final round. It good to be optimist. but 1:10 ratio is little overwhelming by me. Maybe 1:30 is good one but still it was around this back in 2013 and early 2014 around 30-40 LTC per BTC. Now is still huge hope that this will be as something similar like in 2013 it would be good for everyone in the end. |

Yes, definitely bitcoin can play a substantial role in changing the economy especially when its use becomes legitimate. The government then can earn from taxes thus increasing the country revenue which can be use to enhance and improve the countries economy.
This idea is good enough to benefit both. Symbiotic mutualism for bitcoin and government users. But the problem is how to give tax to bitcoin users? In some countries you get double tax in other you get no tax at all. This is still far from happening it will take lot of effort in both community and government if they want to integrate it to be fully adopted globally. Each country economy is different from another so it would be very hard to balance all that in one complete unity. |

I think this was ment to target investors not the bitcoin user base.
This has to be some PR bullshit to get VC money.
It is possible that it is PR but i must add pretty good one with to good background story. And most likely it it to target investors in this, no wonder that price went so high just this month. |
