Earlier everyone was afraid whether SegWit will be able to achieve the 80% consensus needed for its implementation. Now when it seems like 80% consensus is within attainable limits, a lot of users are casting doubt about the code. I don't care much. I love challenges, and SegWit is one of such challenges. Life would be boring without them.
It can be good if the same effect like in case of LITECOIN will happen to bitcoin, then lets start this. Off course there are still divided opinions on this matter (read here some also and in news around net), that it might be downfall, but i dont think it will happen. This will probably be the best thing to happen to bitcoin in long time. |

There are some thing that are good in some point.
In this cashless society you wont be able to hide anything, tax guys will know. People will love this cuz they wont need to carry cash all the time cell phone is enough. Perfect for today society where everything is done online almost.

I have to disagree with you, It is not hard to earn Bitcoin you just have to know where to look at it in the right place. This website is not the only way to earn Bitcoin, trading and mining is one of the best ways to earn Bitcoin if you have capital for buying Cryptocurrencies and the hardware to mine. Trading is actually good you will gain more knowledge if you read in the Trading Discussion and Altcoin Trading sections of this site. Technically you got the point. From here you can explore possibilities, many ways to earn bitcoin, and even to do some jobs/tasks for it. In the end it can be good additional income, or for some here who spend more time (campaign managers) can be job. But for bitcoin to reduce unemployment it will take lot more time or perhaps it will never happen. |

I save bitcoin for my future i really want to buy a car someday  From look of the price you can buy some decent car with 1BTC, but good important is to have goal. Keeping it is sure thing I try to accumulate as much as possible and to have them as many as I can this is good retirement fund and it will come in handy when kids grow up. Sure it is cuz bank lives from this, basically try to see besides these two banks other one but it should be less interest if you take in longer period. In my country interest is between 9-23% that depend from what type of credit you are taking. Off course cash credit always have biggest one, usually smalles one is if you want to buy real estate.

What's stopping people from using both Bitcoin and cash depending on the circumstances? I for one would like to use whichever is the most optimal for the task at hand. Say you need to travel abroad and decide not to bring cash with you and there people on Localbitcoins will try to rip you off by offering crazy rates for your coins, couldn't it be better to use cash instead? Or you need to send money abroad but don't want to pay more fees via a bank transfer then you will send Bitcoins.
It's just on a special cases but for our daily lives we cannot just choose bitcoin because majority of the people are still into cash. Personally I have cash for my daily expenses or spending while I have bitcoin as a tool for my trading activity, and I feel both are very useful to me. Its not just that, it still cash more used then bitcoin, Japan ans Australian have made first move forward using bitcoin in everyday transaction and purchases. Now we all need to keep waiting for other to do the same and with that we will be in cashless system and then will be good for us all. |

Off course that price has to matter, look at how price went up from start of this year, and still it will go up. Some see this as investment other for trading and some take this opportunity for quick cash income in large scales if they invested in right moment.

Real reason to hold bitcoin and gold.
I am not very interested in holding it.
I am more interested in holding ground or building houses.
Where the price continues to rise and certainly will not experience losses such as bitcoin or gold.
Interesting concept this is truly unique answer that i see. But why not hold both or just single one Gold or Bitcoin. Some are scared cuz it can downfall a lot in price this is true, but beasty is when you hold and price goes up a lot and you are happy. Real estate is good business and always will be but sometimes it more risky then just buying gold or bitcoin. In any case where ever you can make profit its good solution. |

This is very hard from day to day to predict. But seem like we have some good predictions, holding most in BTC is logical choice rest needs to be divided on some other, my pick are LTC (sleeping giant), ETH, Ripple and XMR. I picked them from start of this year cuz i have fate in them and everyone should chose his/her pick wisely.

There is one other scenario: the USD becomes somehow supremely more valuable than Bitcoin or any other currency. That is, Bitcoin value versus a basket of other major currencies continues to be "stable", but not against USD specifically.
Usd is valuable. Because we are looking at the price we somehow think it is not. The difference is bitcoin is limited and USD is not. They keep creating more paper money that bloats the market and it becomes lower in price. If it aint valuable how come they tell it is still the strongest currency. Value is different with price. Bitcoin is just the same. It can go down in price but could still be with a lot of value. If we are really thinking for long term in bitcoin then it is easy to think that the price of bitcoin will never be lower than $1,000 because there is a lot of progress that is waiting in bitcoin so i think if those progress or future plans will become true then bitcoin will become more stabilize and the market will not fall and the price will just continue to go up and that is all about long term. In short or long term price wont go bellow 1500 not anymore even on 2000 if big resistance for price keeping above. It need to be very bad for price to go even below 2000 now days and not to mentioned below 1000, we broken 4 digits long ago now we need to be focused on other thing. Price is currently you could say stable but next mark is 3000. |

It is all bad luck for me because I seldom win. I am addicted not because I win but because I have been playing alot and that makes me addicted however I play for other reason now, I play for fun and Im happy. It might not be my way of getting rich from it but atleast it is a way for me to be happy when I play with it
If you are not winning any money through gambling then playing for fun is a good way to distract things hoping that you could become lucky one day  it is all fun if you are not loosing big money but once you start loosing bit then the fun part goes away. One of the reason he should play like this if you are focus on fun more you could win more. NO matter if you lose or not if you play just to win then in most cases you will lose everything, but fun gambling is better you have 5 dollars for example and play if you win great if you you lose great again. You will not have so much adrenaline rush for this cuz it will be I play just to play. |

This was good call on buy last week now sell is coming i hope to see LTC over 50 in this run, but dont think it will hold long, think it will be like btc price rise and fall in right moment next purchase will come and again selling above 40. |

Bitcoin cn be used for this cashless socieaty, but we are far from it and we stll need lot of thing that need to be done. We are starting to use more and more cashless transaction but we will need lot more for this (to be like in star trek movies  ). |
