It's really frustrating that I didn't see with my own eyes when the price hits $2000 for the first time because I'm at sleep when it happens. And never I expected that we will reach such as this huge price just only for this month and its really big achievement to reach this far.
Coinmarketcap shows the current price at $2006. It has crossed $2k on almost all exchanges. This price is not due to any one exchange in the world getting manipulated.  On several is still under 2000 but it wont be much longer. We witness new ATH and let just be like this this month and whole year. Hope that we wont see after just few hours dumping down in price. We should not allowed price to go under 2000 not anymore. |

Dont spend it yet this is only start price is again in pattern of increase for 3-4% per day. Calculate the price for next 20 days of for that 2 month and you will be surprised to see the figure.

Everything is possible. Just for this month we experience huge price change, and we are very close to hitting 2000 very close on some exchanges is little less the 30$ that is very small amount and can be easily jump to over 2000$. Think that it will be just moment peak when hitting this margin and that price may be drop for 50$ down after that or we might see something that is really familiar word around here "To the moon".

Agree with you there - I've been mining and trading XMR for just over a year now and it has been quite an interesting ride - I think there will be more to come - I predicted at the start of the year that XMR will be the number 2 or 3 currency on CMC by the end of the year - hasn't lived up to my expectations - but there is still lots of potential
Monero and Litecoin are still some of the safest long-term investments (IMO) You might not get rich overnight but both of these coins could easily double in the next few years. They both have solid tech, good development and long-term goals. Thousands of other coins will come and go and these two will still be around. I think Monero is great right now. Like you said, it is a safe long-term investment, but on top of that, I think it has solid short-term potential also. It probably has the most growth potential out of any coin currently in the top 10. I would not be surprised if it had a big pump soon If you take charts from coin market cap then you will see that amount top 10 there are some coins that i didn't expect to see. But still this may use as some list to know what may be or it gonna be good opportunity to place investment in order to gain profit. On ICO offering always be extremely careful cuz most are becoming to be scams at the end. |

Moment for now is holding you coin. Price just for this month went around 400$ and that is for this 18-19 days. This is huge amount for this short time but if you calculate percentage per day if you can buy then you will earn profit within days if this keeps up like it it. Estimates that we will bounce over 2000$ for this weekend, image if we come much more in just one month from now. Best option if you have buy them not sell them.

Every good choice you make can be good investment. Poloniex had issues but it normal again, and they are still to trustworthy by me, and believe by many members here. Remember they were hacked and they return funds to all users, which one done that, cryptsy was fallen and still no refund to users.
One of investment is to take lending to Poloniex, or try to keep up with some alt there if its good opportunity use it to make profit.

more likely the bitcoin will get up to 2000$ within a month , let,s see what will happy bitcoin is the best currency in 2017  Bitcoin would be break $2000, i am sure last 4 months of this year. Because bitcoin is still stop under $1650 to $1850. It mean bitcoin take time to cross $2000, And this time will come at the end of the 2017, and in these months bitcoin price will continue up and down $1900. But sure and hopefully bitcoin definitely cross $2000 to $2100 in 2017. Most likely it will maybe even this month, reason is that price went up just this month for about 400$ from 1st may. China has always been a very big market, even without all the fake volume they are still big. with a huge population and a lot of people who are interested in bitcoin and also trading they will always be big.
now that their major exchanges are closed a big part of bitcoin demand is out of it in my opinion and if they come back in June there will surely be a big rally for bitcoin. even if it is only partly coming back with much smaller volume.
But also note that China has always been the first big dumpers of Bitcoin everytime there is a meaningful rise in price. They want to be first to initiate the price drop so again they would be the first to catch the low prices of BTC. I am happier if they were not around. They are speculators, moving from one asset class to another. Love them or hate them, you cannot ignore them. They are the most populous country in the world, have one of the largest economies and are important investors. Yes they are but very annoying one sometimes we must say that. But they are more LTC holders then bitcoin one, also they seek opportunity to earn more, like you mentioned they move from asset to asset in search for this goal. Sure they have big influence on the market price no question about but remember that once they were tricked when price in Europe went higher then on China market then was very bad for them but that only happen once. |

I agree, currently bitcoin already used a lot of people and all States are satisfied with the system of the bitcoin transactions, compared to conventional bank then bitcoin better.
We can say that bitcoin can be global currency but we need many more confirmations like in States if they whether agree that bitcoin can be a global currency. And i think we need to wait more many time after bitcoin CAN be a global curency. Me too am hoping to become bitcoin as a global currency because it's would add more demand We are in that age now, Japan first fully accept it, rest will follow after they see how will Japan handle it. Will they be some setback or it will go smoothly. Also news from today is that Australia is fully accepting it with no more double tax this is also another step forward bitcoin becoming global currency alternative. Skipping this logic is inevitable that bitcoin was the first mover and it has the biggest network effect. It is a fact. Because of that at one point or another different altcoins would be compared or judged based on bitcoin.
Altcoins are not only good for short-term investments, but altcoins that have the potential to last long like BTC and have features according to the market demand would give a tough fight to bitcoin. For example, Ethereum used blockchain techology to come up with something that crypto community needed, smart contracts.
So in short, altcoins that are going to take blockchain technology to another level by giving what the market needs stands a chance against bitcoin.
That something that is gonna happen sooner or later and some alt will take more dominate role in this most are close to this like you mentioned Ethereum, look on what segwith done with Litecoin, so in matter of years we will more hear that some alt in that time made something new and good for good of us all. I've had enough of btc and its rising fees along with many hours of unconfirmed transactions. No one should have to continuously chase fees just to get a quick confirmation. This is insane and madness. This is destroying the business model for those who wish to do e-commerce business using bitcoins. Which cryptocurrency to you recommended to switch over to and why?
If you want to shift to another cryptocurrency there are only a few which is good to invest on. If you want to do some research then try to look at the coinmarketcap and you will see the list of potential coins next to bitcoins. You can choose a good coin in the top 10 of the list. You can choose ripple, ltc, ethereum, dash and etc. We collectively need to make a shift. I want to hear everyone input on this matter and which coins majority of us decides to agree upon. We then need to push that coin to more businesses to either add or switch over to. Bitcoin has become a sad aged old dinosaur. No one should have to pay higher fees and/or wait many hours, days, weeks just to receive their monies. We as a community have all the power and its time that we do something about it. RIGHT NOW!!! If enough of us decide to do this, this could actually lower bitcoin value and pump the alt that we decide, right? So that could be a beneficial step also, unless someone then decide to jump right back in after cashing in the profit from dump and pump of both currencies. But I'd agree with this, I think it could be time that we should think of an alternative, will be interested in seeing what the more experience people will say about this, and which alts they think are good enough for a move like this. It should but most are sticking with bitcoin, and converting some amount in some alt in purpose of creating profit. Its always good to invest or keep in some other currency or convert it to gold maybe. But there is always that thing when someone is going do dump the alt price will go down that is risk that we all have to take. |

I like this thread...the plan seems to be on track at $1,833 now.  Yea everything is going back as it was few days ago now we only need to broke resistance and we are over 2k per one bitcoin. Think we will do this now and that we will finally see price above 2000$ or we will again be bouncing back in range of 150$ down. Hard to estimate this but charts are divided by this. As a bitcoin test network, it's still useful
You can sell LTC for profits. But you cannot sell any Bitcoin testnet coins for anything. Litecoin once again proved that he is reliable coin, so many doubted but yet he is still here, was it testcoin/testnetwork or not he is here. Current price say this way and he will remain here for long time, he wont have that second place anymore like in the start but he will remain to be good and stable altcoin as it had been so far. |

I have noticed so many players are just gambling for the sake of profits only. But majority of them loses most of the games eventually as they are not smart players.

Only profits can make people happy that is why they choosing gambling than risking there money into investment without guaranteed that htye can really earn from there. You can play smart with gambling by playing with small amount then playing safe is much better when you are not sure with the round then not bet but if you are sure enough make your bets bigger. I think people select gambling only for the reason as they think that gambling can be the fastest way of earning money with less effort. But real fact is, it can only be done, if you are lucky, because luck is the key to success and if you do not have this within you then you cannot become succeeded in gambling even in betting and any type of investments too. In other games of casino it is right that gambling all depend on luck and if the person is lucky then he can be millionaire while in sports I think if the person is expert in sports then he can easily win. yes in most of the casino games we are depending on our luck. if we are lucky then we can really make good profit from gambling there, but if we are not luck they it is not such possible to make money because there is no involvement of experience and skill in casino gambling, while in sports gambling we can really use our experience and skill. Unfortunately this is true cuz in casino games house always wins no matter no how you win, some other has lost or others. That way in casino games is nothing but the luck, but yes in sport gambling where you can play single or multi games it more experience. Off course there are some rules for playing some casino games where you can always win but never test some of those schemes or rules. Im stick to my sport gambling. |
