281  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Not again!! UK begs EU for second Brexit Delay on: April 03, 2019, 06:57:26 AM
Lol why would the UK need to follow in Yugoslavia’s footsteps?

Have you read article 50? Do you know what a customs union is? This isn’t jail or the Russian mob, countries have the right to depart if they want without “pissing off the whole of Europe” ,

As well as Europe being angry for two years they’ve also made it as difficult as possible for the UK to leave and used the international media to trash them? So who would want to stick around for that behaviour ??

Hey, what did UK expect, that EU will reward it and give it all sorts of benefits for leaving? It is only natural that EU will protect its interests. Personally, I would not grant the UK customs union. It only wants benefits of the EU but non of the obligations. I hope it doesn't happen.

The EU did not try to make it hard to leave for you, but to protect itself from UK's disruptivness.

Look at the date of that article. April fooled you were.
283  Other / Meta / Re: f*cking scared me on: April 01, 2019, 04:32:40 PM
Boy. At least you realized immediately. Take a look at those who actually posted legitimate photos of themselves and they probably haven't realized yet that it's an April fools joke. Imagine having public KYC LOL.
It's probably because of these reasons..
- they haven't experienced April fool yet here in the forum as most of them are newbies/new to the forum
-they are afraid to lose their account (specially to spammers)
-their religion or whatever does not celebrate April fool
-they are slow, they didn't get it immediately
-they've been fooled by theymos

Anyway, I'm not quite happy with my Verified sucker valuable user. Seems like its been forced to be "valuable user".  Smiley Also curious of the basis of these Verified stuffs or they are just randomly generated.

Delete your post and try again, perhaps you will get luckier next time Smiley.

Oh, come ony guys, it is something both sides want, no need to be mean to each other Smiley.
285  Other / Politics & Society / Re: EU gives UK more time to prepare itself for its desired fatal Brexit. on: March 31, 2019, 04:13:59 PM
I think no deal Brexit also, just don't know if on April 12th or when.
286  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Brexit news - The UK may have left the EU on: March 31, 2019, 02:04:34 PM
Well, I hope so, but could you let us know? We probably need your parliament to vote on that. Oh, wait...
287  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why so many people say "Muslims are terrorists" Should we say that? on: March 30, 2019, 02:35:16 PM
So disagree with the fact that all are terrorist or even 5% or any percentage.
Any terrorist that carries out an attack is not an muslim as its a religion of peace, not killing.
Killing a human is frowned upon.
However a few pointers.

A lot of religions have books, such as Bibles, and Quran.

These books were written a very long time ago, bible 2000 years plus, Quran 1400 years plus.

The literature although applicable today is open to interpretation and just like anything can be interpreted in many ways.

so some choose to interpret in way that suits them and use a the religion as an excuse.

look at bitcoin how controversial it is.

Its simple and annoying that anything that is associated with money laundering is always blamed on bitcoin, for smaller things like someone scammed out of $100 savings, however the banks launder billions and nothing is said.

So lets not label everyone, there are a few rogue one which cause mayhem.

You deny them the Muslim label. Yet they selfidentify as Muslims. Can you take that right away from them?

As far as Muslim immigration goes, there are two potential problems. The hate towards non-Muslims (rarer) and very backwards treatment of women (quite wide spread, way behind western culture). Without these, I have no problem with any Muslim immigrant.

Kind or embarassing for the UK.
290  Other / Politics & Society / Re: May loses the Brexit vote. on: March 17, 2019, 03:05:33 PM
Oh, please, no delays! Let's get it over and done with already. I have mastered Amazon.de and Ebay.de, so no more need for delay as far as I am concerned. Grin
291  Other / Politics & Society / Re: May loses the Brexit vote. on: March 15, 2019, 07:10:32 AM
I should have asked differently. What do the MPs want? It looks like an inoperative institution by now.
292  Other / Politics & Society / Re: An interesting infographic explaining why the UK can't have a deal with the UK. on: March 15, 2019, 07:09:24 AM
You made a mistake in the title, but you are correct. It looks like the UK can't make a deal with itself, decide what it wants.
293  Other / Politics & Society / Re: May loses the Brexit vote. on: March 14, 2019, 06:36:38 PM
Just what do British want exactly?
294  Other / Meta / Re: It is extremely hard to gain merits on: March 06, 2019, 08:06:06 AM
It is hard enough that I have stopped trying. Just not as motivated that is all. If you are super duper great poster with above average knowledge you won't have a problem. But if you are just average, you will put up a post that is useful and with new information and people recognise it as such, but don't give merit. You can also be quite sure that if you have expressed a political view, people of the opposite view will not merit you. Or even ones that share your view but are afraid to appear biased LOL. It is very possible for excellent posters, for average not as much.
295  Economy / Speculation / Re: Anyone else think "long term" hodlers are idiots? on: February 13, 2019, 06:40:37 PM
Holders may be idiots in the current average mindset of the crypto crowd, but it was traders that crashed the market.
And it was traders that provided the huge run-up.

Buyers did that, not traders.

I just wonder which kind of desperate dudes will listen to you. Oh such an empty, meaningless life.
298  Other / Meta / Re: Merit Backscratchers: who scratched who's back the most? on: January 23, 2019, 02:35:51 PM
For older and active users it kind of makes sense. You would not expect newbies and users that are not so active on this list, would you?
299  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Some are more equal than others... on: January 11, 2019, 09:50:15 AM
Between coughing fits and respiratory distress that are only an excuse I will reply to TECHSHARE, because I am sick of having my posts deleted because of him while he gets to keep the original an further insulting post. After that I am DONE if I can help myself.

Social conditioning starts after birth. You can't prove what happens in the workplace after being given more choice, if the choice is given to ADULTS.

A) I stand by my opinion.
B) Yes, I stand by my opinion it is "patriarchy" that shaped the prejudice as to what a "real man" is. Men have been running the society throughout human history so how could it be the fault of women?
C) If all women had financial freedom, noone would have to support them. Why don't they?
D) I also stand by my opinion on education. I don't care if you think I have no argument for it. I don't care about you at all actually. I see it every day.
E) Again, men have been running the society throughout history. Pushed women into kitchens and nurseries. How can discrimination against men then be fault of women?
F) Unlike you I say "patriarchy" also discriminates men not just women and you are hating on me for it? Do you even know what you want? You don't have ONE good thing to say about women or give them any credit or admit they have any real struggle equality wise. Why do you hate them so much?
G, H, I) Surprise, I again stand by what I said. You don't want to even try to see any of my point, that is just fine. I won't post links and researches etc because I don't have time to do gender studies or whatever. You will just have to accept different people have different opinions. I gave my arguments, you don't like it, I can't help it.

I have decency and morals to acknowledge the wrongs of this society. Since this topic was meant as an attack on women, I focused on defending them because it seems only decent. If it was the opposite, I would be defending men, but frankly I don't often see women attacking men. I see my priviledge and don't feel threatened by people who fight for equality. I am for equality and don't just want to keep precious priviledge. This is all I have to say to you.

It will be extremely amusing if he declares national emergency because of the wall funding. No other country in the world is capable of such a sharade.
