CGA is an investor's dream, the coin supply cannot be pumped by gigantic hash rates (inflation is very minimal) and rewarding to loyal miners in times of low net hashes.
This is why i like CGA. I'd like to point out 1 fact regarding CGA price. I'm very certain once CGA hits coinmarketcap, the price will skyrocket on poloniex then average out after a few days. This is advice i give to my clients, but i felt many of you should know this. How do i know this? Read the great overview of Arielbit, as i quoted. When PMC and Darkcoin hit coinmarketcap from poloniex, they spiked 100-500%. Watch out and be ready, CGA will not go unnoticed. |

If you're good, you should consider creating an investment group where people send you BTCs and you do whatever you like with them (in order to profit, of course).
Hedge fund basically. I've considered it, but i would need to hire a team of traders to handle the amount of BTC and daily active trading on the markets. With that type of scenario, you have to be watching the markets consistently. Been there and done that with Forex and Binary. On the other hand, you need a lot of reputation and referrals when it comes to handling and trading people's money/btc. I'm building that up for any future offer or venture i decide to go into. While i do agree with Phazon that betacoin has it's own niche, he jumped the gun saying exploding. I feel bad for those who bought at the highpoint, because anyone could have seen this is just another Pump and dump.
Coins do not just explode overnight from .01cents to 10 dollars and stay at 10 dollars, they average out and naturally settle on a price.

Excactly like the GREAT bubble Bitcoin. It's gonna blow soon enough. Betacoin on the other hand shows great stability that many cryptos envy. It is 4 months old and achived difficulty and value stability at great level that others took year to reach. There is good reason for bitcoin and betacoins standings. I'm not going to really comment on Bitcoin, because BTC is on a whole different level then ALL alt-coins. It is the' digital currency. But, times are changing alts are shaking up the foundations of digital currencies. I firmly believe many stable-priced-coins, like betacoin, with its difficulty, will see a future of success. |

Threads like this are both amusing and irritating after a while. Dogecoin, Earthcoin, Litecoin, Goldcoin, or 'whatever coin someone is invested in' is what people will reply with. There is no logic behind any of their answers. Maybe Beecoin, Fckcoin and Sexcoin will overtake Bitcoin too?
A better thread, IF people could answer honestly, would be a discussion of what coin could surpass litecoin as the 2d most popular crypto? That is doable. Surpassing bitcoin at this stage seems unlikely by any existing coin.
If you are a noob, you should be reading this below: Poor pointed out a good case. I've been arguing much of the same, and that's why i rarely listen to people's advice on "What coin is going to be 1 hundred trillion dollars in 2 days" And soon the list follows of whatever is popular or hyped up at the moment. I remember the last time one of these threads was posted, it was VERTCOIN vertcoin, VeRRRTcoin. Now, vert as pumped and dumped and people are moving onto the next big thing. In reality noone knows. But if your a noobie, you should not be listening to any of this hype unless you know how to turn hype into a profit. Do not invest in coins you know nothing about. There are 50 new alt-coins this month, and only about 2 or 3 are actually worth spending time and looking at. I've seen them all, i'm unimpressed. Darkcoin is a good start for this thread, but no one has taken the time to explain why.
Basic Critera for a decent coin:1) Active Development Team 2) Active Marketing Team 3) Technical advancements (not just a clone) 4) Community Support 5) Does the coin have all the necessities to be considered a coin for the masses? 6) What does the coin do differently And the list can go on and on.. you get the point Several other criteria can be listed here also, but this is a basic off of the top of my head guideline. |

Damn.. No shit Sherlock... Try reading at least the OP before posting... Am I the only one that doesn't hate the original logo? Maybe I would like a different one more, but the current logo doesn't look that bad. I'm OK with it. All we really need is coinmarketcap and it's moontime. I don't necessarily like it (and I created it!). But I do think people can do better than I. That being said I'm not sure if I am completely satisfied with the entries in our current contest... Yeah, only one or two I liked. I never voted but maybe let's extend the competition until we get some good ones. Ya... I think I will. Unfortunately that means we have to wait longer for the new logo but I think it may be for the best. Edit: Alright so this is what's going to happen. I'm going to reopen the contest to new entries. I'm going to remove the entries I feel don't really have a chance compared to the other current entries to reduce clutter. Then once we have more formidable entries I will create a new poll. Time span for entries have yet to be determined. Donation address will be re-posted.
